패션소재 정보 전달을 위한 NFC 모바일 어플리케이션 개발 (Development of NFC Mobile Application for Information on Textile Materials)

  • Convergence of IT devices and fashion is enabling the industry to take fully different approaches in various areas including product planning, fabric selecting, distributing, and marketing. At the same time, it also transforms the definition of clothing itself. Convergence of IT technologies in the realm of fashion and textiles industries can create a powerful synergy through connection digital devices, such as mobile phone. In this context, this study attempts to suggest how IT technology can be efficiently harnessed through the usage of mobile devices in the planning stage of fashion materials, where the initial production plan of a clothing item is mapped out. This study ultimately aims to enhance the effectiveness of databases on fashion material information by using mobile devices to utilize NFC, an RFID technology having as much revolutionary power as Internet - which can be the convergence between IT and fashion across the software dimensions. To pursue this research, data on fashion material information regarding 200 woven fabric specimens were provided by textile companies. The information includes elements such as its composition, weight, width, yarn, density and sales report. These pieces of information were organized into a database. Drawing on this data, Android-based applications that allow smart phones to read off fabric information from NFC tags were developed for this study using two methods. The system works as follows: 1. NFC tag stickers are attached onto the hangers where 200 fabric samples are hanging. 2. The NFC tag stickers are tagged, or read off from a smart phone that support NFC functions. 3. Upon tagging, the Smart phone swiftly displays all information available on its screen - not only the aforementioned six elements, but also the image of the clothing item from the fabric in its finalized product form, and the video of the model wearing the item - for convenient view. The method harbors immense potential for the fashion industry in general, and will also be useful in those fields inside the industry that harness NFC technology.

Effect of different contraction methods on pelvic floor muscle contraction in middle-aged women

  • Objective: Pelvic floor muscles (PFMs) form the base of the abdomino-pelvic cavity and also the PFMs function is important for urinary continence. PFMs training (PFMT) is considered to be the first method for PFM dysfunction. This study demonstrated correct PFMs contraction among commonly used different contraction methods for PFMT. Design: Cross-sectional study. Methods: In this study, nineteen middle-aged (40-70 years) women participated. To evaluate PFM function, ultrasonography was used to measure the distance of the bladder base movement. The distance of the PFM movements were calculated at rest and during the other contractions. The following four different contraction methods were performed randomly: (1) PFM contraction, (2) abdominal drawing-in maneuver (ADIM), (3) anal contraction, and (4) hip adductor muscle contraction. The participants held the contraction for 3 seconds for a total of 3 times with a 30 seconds rest period between each trial. The mean of three measurements in each position were obtained and compared with that in the resting position. Results: The bladder base movement values were significantly greater when comparing PFM with ADIM and hip adductor contractions (p<0.05). The bladder base movement values were significantly greater when comparing ADIM and anal contractions with hip adductor contractions (p<0.05). Conclusions: The results of this study suggest that performing PFM contractions is the best method among the common methods for PFMT. Performing PFM contractions was more effective than the other contraction methods.

로마 판테온의 일조특성 연구 (THE FORMAL ANALYSIS OF PANTHEON IN ROME IN RELATION TO THE SOLAR ANGLES)

  • 로마의 판테온은 고대 로마 시대의 건축 유구 중에서 그 원형을 가장 잘 유지하고 있는 건축물중의 하나이다. 않은 부분이 헐리거나 다시 지어졌음에도 불구하고 대형 로툰다와 벽체, 그리고 포티코는 아직도 원래의 장중한 모습을 그대로 지니고 있다. 직경 43.3M의 로툰다 내부는 그와 같은 높이인 돔 상부에 뚫려있는 직경 8.1M의 '눈'(Oculo)을 통해 들어오는 햇빛만으로 밝혀진다. 판테온은 정 남-북으로 방위를 잡았고 포티코는 로툰다의 정 북 방향으로 놓였다. 어떤 건축물이 정 방위하는 것은 그 자체로 매우 특이한 일이다. 이집트의 피라미드, 메소포타미아의 지구라트 등이 그러한 예에 해당한다. 이는 개략적인 정 방위와는 근본적으로 다른 배치 개념인 것이다. 필자는 그 중에서도 특히 정 남-북 방위를 잡은 경우는 일사각과 뗄 수 없는 관계가 있다고 믿는다. 이집트의 피라미드가 정 사각추 라는 단순한 기하학적 형태를 지닌 것처럼 판테온도 구형 및 원통형이라는 단순한 기하학적 형태를 지녔다. 돔 상부의 '눈'을 통해 들어오는 원형의 햇빛은 마치 규칙적으로 돌아가는 탐조등처럼 하루하루 로툰다 내부를 비추며 돌아간다. 햇빛은 당연히 규칙적으로 돌아가는 것이다. 그렇다면 햇빛과 판테온의 형태 사이에 어떤 관계가 있을 수 있으리라고 추정할 수 있다. 필자는 이러한 관계를 찾기 위해 scanning한 판테온 도면 위에, autocad로 로마의 위도에 맞춘 해의 궤적도를 그리는 작업을 했다. 기대했던 만큼의 결과는 아니었지만 다음과 같은 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. (1) 포티코 앞쪽 지붕 정점은 동지일 정오 돔의 그림자와 만난다. (2) 포티코 앞쪽 기둥열의 평면상 중심선은 돔의 입체적 중심에서 그린 동지일 정오 해의 고도각과 일치한다. (3) 춘, 추분 정오, '눈'을 통해 들어오는 햇빛은 로툰다 출입구 아치를 지나 포티코 바닥에 특이한 형태의 빛을 만든다. 이는 춘, 추분 정오에만 만들어지는, 아치의 원호와 '눈'의 원호가 만나서 만드는 특이한 형태의 빛이다. 여기서 판테온이 춘, 추분을 정시(定時)하기 위한 일종의 해시계였다는 가설이 성립될 수 있다.

셀러브리티 패션에서 표현된 게토 스타일 연구 (A Study of Ghetto Style expressed in Celebrity Fashion)

  • Ghetto was originated from the concept of "Jewish Camp", the segregated Jewish residential area, and recently it refers to the black neighborhoods of the poor living conditions or slum. A region to form a unique culture distinguished from the adjacent area is also called as ghetto. The culture born in that region is called "ghetto culture", and from the cultural aspect it can mean a type of haven that allows the freedom and deviation of their own. In this study, the generating background and the characteristics of ghetto style especially to adolescents were examined, and celebrities' unique fashion styles that lead the public in the fashion diffusion process were analyzed. Through this, Ghetto culture was understood and the effects of the mass culture phenomena on fashion, symbolization, and an aesthetic value were examined. With this, it aims to help understand the effect of special local culture like "ghetto" on modern fashion and expand the design area. As a result of this study, the characteristics of ghetto style were as followings; 1. It is based on hiphop style; 2. The name brands are exposed conspicuously; 3. Caught eyes by unusually excessive decorations; 4. It expresses confidence and toughness through fashion beyond the resistance to the target who suppresses and humiliates themselves; 5. Ghetto culture is rapidly spread through media. To conclude, ghetto style is an expression of hope of the poor that they can gain wealth through impressing the public and drawing empathy just by their talent. Furthermore, ghetto style is an important cultural trend that has appeared as their wannabe and a powerful display method to express success.

영화 <데드풀>에 나타난 풍자유머 번역양상 (The Trend of English-Korean Translational Strategy in Satire - Focusing on the movie, )

  • 본 연구의 목적은 2016년 개봉된 영화 <데드풀>의 유머 중 풍자유머의 번역특성을 분석, 고찰하는 것이다. 풍자유머는 말하고자 하는 무엇을 다른 것에 빗대어 재치 있는 웃음을 유발하는 문학적 기교이므로 이를 번역한다는 것은 번역가에게 큰 난관이 아닐 수 없다. 이에 본고는 영화 속 유머번역을 확인, 검토하고 각각의 유머범주에서 풍자유머를 분리하여 분석방법에서 제시한 4가지 기본전략을 바탕으로 풍자유머의 빈도수와 그에 따른 양상을 배경으로 현대 풍자유머의 번역트렌드를 고찰해 보았다. 연구 결과 대부분의 풍자유머는 대부분 글자그대로 (Literal Translation) 번역되었으며, 이와 다른 전략을 사용했다하더라도 출발텍스트(ST)를 보존하고자 하는 경향이 두드러진 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 사회, 문화, 정치 등의 융합적 관점에서 효과적인 풍자번역 전략을 도출해내는데 있어 기본 자료가 될 것으로 기대된다.

악학규범의 처용무복식 고증 제작 (Historical Reconstruction on the Costumes for the Cheo-yong Dance in Ak-Hak-Gue-Peom)

  • This study is for the construction of Cheo-Yongdance Costumeby historical research based on Ak-Hak-Gue-Peom(樂學軌範). Through the production of Cheo-Yongdance Costume by historical research, it is examined and this study is expected that be a help of the right succession of a traditional costume. Cheo-Yongdance Costumeis draught to real size by comparing the size and picture suggested in Ak-Hak-Gue-Peom. In the specialty of Cheoyong(處容) dance Costume in the drawing, the length of clothes was 152cm that is longer than the length of the excavated Danlyeong(團領) of Chosun Dynasty period. Width was 81.9cm that is very big and the width of Danlyeong is 11.7cm. The sleeve length of Hansam(汗衫) is 20O.60cm and it is one that attached Hansam to Jeogori(저고리). The material used for Cheoyong dance Costume is Dan(緞), Cho, Joo(紬), Red gold patterned brocade(紅金線). At the same part, and as the goal was differently used at the same clothing. As the methods of dyeing, the process of dyeing naturally is suggested. A gardenia seeds, indigo plant, and ink stick are used for the color of blue, red, yellow and black. The producing process is made in concrete by suggesting the process of producing clothing. Danlyeong is required the technique of smoothing out wrinklesin case of attaching. Goon(裙) was made by making plaits below and attaching string for making form in the literature. Ui(衣), Chon-ui(天衣) and Goon(裙)'s Bang-sul(方膝) are drawn a Man-hwa Mun(蔓花紋) on Ak-Hak-Gue-Peom by using the golden dyeing material. As the result of producing the clothe by using the recorded size in Ak-Hak-Gue-Peom, it could be examine a pertinent dance clothing for expressing the dance performance with big motions.

이매방 살풀이춤[중요무형문화재 제 97호] 복식 연구 (A Study on the Yi Mae-Bang's Salpurichum Costume)

  • It goes without saying that Yi Mae-Bang, as the sole owner of two of the intangible cultural assets including No. 27 Seungmu in 1987 and No. 97 Salpuri Chum, is a top-notch Korean traditional dancer. Moreover, in regards to traditional clothing, he is also known as the only traditional dancer who directly performs on stage as well as analyzes traditional clothing in order to apply them into his own dance performances by designing and producing them to meet his artistic spirit. In order to examine how Yi Mae-Bang's unique and creative stage clothing was developed, and what kind of process it went through to possess its unique style, which draws the attentions of people with its harmony of beauty and dance, this research first examined the change of the composition through the yearly picture data. Before 1984, the composition of the Salpuri Chum clothes changed by putting on 'Jeogori' on the 'Mudong-Bok' without the 'Kweia' (sleeveless), and in 1999 'Mudong-Bok' became widened with the decoration of embroidered hem making it more attractively colorful. after 2000 it became more splendidly adorned by embroidering hem on widened Mudong-Bok and tucking 'Kweja' in the layers which created silhouette like a dress that is seemingly wider and luxuriant than a skirt. One of notable features of Yi Mae-Bang's Salpuri is that its cloth and cuff ribbons are lightly colored in different colors enclosing the tip part. As for the ribbons, it was also changed as time went by from direct-cutting of the cloth just like the A-line of Mudong-Bok to drawing a diagonal line less than 5cm above the ribbon and 8cm below the ribbon so that it takes the form of getting widened as it gets to the lower part, and its length was also elongated in proportion to that of the bottom of Mudong-Bok.

  • 단풍나무과의 16종, 14변종, 1품종의 분포도를 UTM grid map에 작성하였다. A. okamotoanum과 A. takesimense는 특산종으로 울릉도에 분포하나 A. takesimense만은 제주도, 완도, 흑산도 등에도 분포한다. A. palmatum var. nakaii는 난대 중북부에 분포하고 A. micro-sieboldianum과 A. nudicarpum은 중부에만 분포하는 특산종이다. A. barbinerve와 A. tegmentosum은 북방분자로서 분포 남한선이 지리산 산정이고 북부에는 낭림산, 백두산 등에 분포한다. A. ginnala와 A. mono는 중국의 요동반도와 산도반도 및 남만주 등에 공통 분포하고 A. barbinerve, A. lobulatum, A. mandshuricum, A. pseudo-sieboldianum, A. tegmentosum, A. triflorum, A. tschonoskii var. rubripes, A. ukurunduense 중은 남만주 및 북만주와 공통 분포하는 만주계 식물이다. A. japonicum, A. mono var. ambiguum, A. mono var. savatieri, A. palmatum var. matsumurae, A. ukurunduense var. pilosum 등은 한일분자이다.

  • Recently, the Korean medical system changed with diversification & specialization and the field of medical service is also specialized in these days. And healing environment is proposed as a general concept in the hospital architecture. There is a trend that a establishment of women's hospital is increasing as specialized type. In difference from general hospital, they are providing specialized and integrated services in response to the women's disease and demand. Particularly, Outpatient department space in women's hospital has been changed in terms of area, shape and program. However, there used to be not enough research efforts of responding these changes. This study includes the Outpatient department of s women's hospital in the form of small and medium sized building over a certain level in Korea. And the methods of the study adopted the theoric examination based concept and features of women's hospital, the abstraction of distinctions in the Outpatient department through the analysis of the drawing, and the analysis of distinctions in the Outpatient department of women's hospital with the structural space classified and the analysis of space relation. Therefore, the purpose of this is to study investigates and analyzes the spatial characteristics of the Outpatient department space in women's hospital through a analysis of case study. To conclude, the space composition can be classified into the entry space, the clinic space for patients, the support space of patients' check-up, the reception and waiting space, the rest and convenience space, and the link space in the Outpatient department of women's hospital. The level space can account for the waiting space type, the clinic office type, the type based on the relation between the waiting room and the clinic office with its features. As a result, the results will be applied for the planning & design for the future women's hospital.

자하 하디드의 건축디자인과정에서 다시점 표현기법의 활용과 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics and Use of Multi-Visual Expression Techniques in Architectural Design Process of Zaha Hadid)

  • This study divides the expression techniques of Zaha Hadid into various types who has manipulated her targeted drawings as her unique design tools in the process of architectural design, analyzes them in terms of the vanishing point, visual point for observation and object of observation and attempts to figure out how the multi-visual expression is applied in the conception of form and space and method of observation. By doing so, this study will suggest the characteristics of the expression techniques using multi-visual. Through the above study, the utilization and characteristics of multi-visual expression of the architecture design process of Zaha Hadid are summarized as follows. Firstly, Zaha Hadid utilizes the strained multi-visual perspective technique which can look out over the interaction between masses simultaneously at multi-angles by changing a perspective drawing of vanishing point 1, 2, and 3. Secondly, it utilizes a landscape perspective technique and embodies an Idea of landscape's spatial arrangement through it as the means to search a dynamic relation of architecture, city, land, and space. Thirdly, there is a projected expression using X-ray perspective technique to make the relations between inside and outside of building to three-dimension volume. Zaha Hadid has used the expression techniques using multi-visual by utilizing various points and has developed and used them as her creative tools for idea. By means of escaping from the expression techniques of simple revival, she has used a new expression technique that can represent recognized space. In the past, the content could change the expression techniques in architecture; however, the liberation of architectural expression techniques can change the content in modern times when require new attempts.
