This paper deals with the problem of locating facilities with upper and lower capacity bounds in a single level physical distribution system at minimum total costs. Several known schemes for location problems with upper capacity bounds only are successfully extended to our case and then implemented into our branch ana bound solution procedure. Computational experiments with twelve test problems suggest the effectiveness of our approach by showing that only a small amount of additional computation is required for our problem as compared to that for the problems with upper capacity bounds.

Pi was worn like a shawl or scarf in Western costume In a broad sense it means a skirt a towel a vest and a shawl However the subject of this study has limited a naarrow sense a long shawl Historically it appeared since Jin to Chung dynasty and had various names according to each dynasty Also Pi was changed its shape colour pat-terns and details with various names. Therefore the purpose of the study is to ana-lyze the formative characteristics of pi includ-ing how to wear it through Chinese history.

Volumetric error measurement and calibration of a coordinate measuring machine are studied by using a Ball-Bar artifact. Examples of the Ball-Bar design are shown using inbar materials and precision steel balls. Also, for the uncertainty error using the Ball-Bar is discussed. Method of Ball-Bar artifact and the analysis of the error vectors are proposed. Using the Ball-Bar data, we studied the method of volumetric errors ana]ysis of a coordinate measuring machine.

본 논문에서는 하이퍼큐브보다 망비용이 개선된 HFN(n,n)과 2n-hypercube 사이의 임베딩을 분석한다. 2n-hypercube를 HFN(n,n)에 연장율 3에 임베딩 가능함을 보이고, HFN(n,n)을 2n-hypercube에 임베딩하는 비용이 O(n)임을 보인다.

A study to analyze and solve problems of multi wire installation duct experiment has presented in this paper. We have taken Taguchi's parameter design approach, specifically orthogonal array, and determined the optimal levels of the selected variables through ana1ysis of the experimental results using S/N ratio.

An automated anastomotic ring-pin system consisting of both the anastomotic ring-pin system and the coupler device has eliminated the drawbacks of the suture method. High density polyethylene (HDPE), a material with outstanding biocompatibility and injection molding capability, was used in the ring. SUS316 stainless steel, Ti-6Al-4Nb, Ti-6Al-4V, and unalloyed titanium were used in FEM simulations of the micropin. The authors categorized the microvascular anastomotic ring micropins into short neck (SN) and long neck (LN) groups in order to evaluate the effect of the micropin's fillet radius and neck length on the von Mises stress. The micropins were further divided into those with and without fillet. On the basis of the fillet radius rate (FRR), which represents the rate of change in the von Mises stress with respect to the availability and shape of the fillet, and the neck length rate (NLR), which represents the rate of change in the von Mises stress with respect to changes in the length of the neck within the fillet shape, it can be concluded that the SN-3 neck design is the most stable.

In order to isolate and identify Anaplasma bodies, two dairy cattle were inoculated with the whole blood of Korean cattle reacted to capillary tube agglutination test (Ana-test). The results obtained are as follows: 1. In the infected dairy cattle, Anaplasma bodies were first detected between 30 to 40 days post infection. 2. The isolates were identified as Anaplasma centrale on the basis of morphology of infected anaplasma bodies in erythocytes.
