선형논리의 통사론 (The syntax of Linear logic)

  • 선형논리는 현대 증명이론의 산물로서 1987년 프랑스 Marseille대학 Jean-Yves Girard 교수가 프로그래밍 언어의 개발을 위해 직관주의 논리학 (Intuitional logic) 을 정교하게 보완하여 고안한 새로운 논리학이다. 그래서 선형논리의 연결사들은 정보배열 (Sequentiality)과 병행처리 (Parallel computation) 등 정보처리와 관련된 해석을 갖는다. 예컨대, A${\otimes}$B는 두 과정 A와 B를 차례차례 수행하는 것을 나타내고, A&B는 내적미결정과 관련되어 관찰자가 A 또는 B를 선택할 수 있으며, A${\oplus}$B는 외적인 미결정으로서, 관찰자는 A 또는 B라는 사실을 알지만 어느 것이 될지는 알지 못한다. 그리고 A${\wp}$B는 A과정과 B과정의 병행처리를 의미한다. 선형부정은 동시화(Synchronization)를 나타내어, 하나의 과정 A가 수행되기 위해서는 A와 $A^{\bot}$가 동시에 이루어져야 한다. 국내에 선형논리에 대한 연구가 활성화되지 않아서 이 글은 이에 대한 관심을 제고하기 위해 우선 선형논리의 통사론만을 취급했으며, 의미론과 증명망 등은 차후의 연구에서 다루고자 한다.

  • Let R be a ring with identity. If a, b, $c{\in}R$ such that a+b+c = 1, then the distributive laws from addition over multiplication hold in R, that is a+(bc) = (a+b)(a+c) when ab = ba, and (ab)+c = (a+c)(b+c) when ac = ca. An application to obtains, if A,B are idempotent matrices and AB = BA = 0 then there exists an idempotent matrix C such that A + BC = (A + B)(A + C), and also A + BC = (I - C)(I - B). Some other cases and applications are also presented.

윤곽선들의 B-spline 곡면 보간을 위한 새로운 방식 (A new approach for B-spline surface interpolation to contours)

  • This paper addresses the problem of B-spline surface interpolation to serial contours, where the number of points varies from contour to contour. A traditional lofting approach creates a set of B-spline curves via B-spline curve interpolation to each contour, makes them compatible via degree elevation and knot insertion, and performs B-spline surface lofting to get a B-spline surface interpolating them. The approach tends to result in an astonishing number of control points in the resulting B-spline surface. This situation arises mainly from the inevitable process of progressively merging different knot vectors to make the B-spline curves compatible. This paper presents a new approach for avoiding this troublesome situation. The approach includes a novel process of getting a set of compatible B-spline curves from the given contours. The process is based on the universal parameterization [1,2] allowing the knots to be selected freely but leading to a more stable linear system for B-spline curve interpolation. Since the number of control points in each compatible B-spline curve is equal to the highest number of contour points, the proposed approach can realize efficient data reduction and provide a compact representation of a B-spline surface while keeping the desired surface shape. Some experimental results demonstrate its usefulness and quality.

Interspecific Hybridization of the Bumblebees Bombus ignitus and B. terrestris

  • The large bumblebee, Bombus terrestris, indigenous to Europe and used extensively for high-value crop pollination, has been artificially introduced in several parts of the world. Here we show the interspecific hybridization between bumblebee species, B. terrestris and B. ignitus, under laboratory conditions. The mating and oviposition percentages of the interspecific hybridization of a B. terrestris queen with a B. ignitus male were higher than those of the intraspecific mating of B. ignitus. Furthermore, the competitive copulation experiment indicated that the mating of B. ignitus males with B. terrestris queens was 1.8-fold more frequent than with B. ignitus queens. The interspecific hybridization of a B. ignitus queen with a B. terrestris male produced either B. ignitus workers or the B. ignitus male phenotype, and the hybridization of a B. terrestris queen with a B. ignitus male produced B. terrestris males. Genetic tests using a portion of the mitochondrial COI gene for the parent and hybrid phenotypes indicated that mitochondrial DNA in the interspecific hybridization was maternally inherited. Our results indicated that interspecific hybridization occurred between B. ignitus and B. terrestris, which suggests that the hybridization will have a negative impact of competition and genetic pollution of native bumblebees.

Efficacy of Brucella abortus strain RB51 vaccine in Korean mongrel dogs against virulent strains of B. abortus biotype 1 and B. canis

  • This study was performed to test the hypothesis that Brucella abortus strain RB51 (SRB51) might protect Korean indigenous mongrel dog against challenge with either virulent B. abortus biotype 1 or B. canis. A total of 12 Korean mongrel dogs were divided into four groups (Group A, B, C and D). Dogs belonging to Group A and C were inoculated subcutaneously with $1{\times}10^9$ CFU of SRB51 in 1ml of sterile phosphate buffered saline (PBS). Dogs of Group B and D were inoculated subcutaneously with 1ml of sterile PBS as control. At 12 weeks post vaccination, dogs of Group A and B were challenged by oral inoculation of virulent strain of B. canis ($5.0{\times}10^9$ CFU) and dogs of Group C and D were challenged by oral inoculation of virulent strain of B. abortus biotype 1 ($4.4{\times}10^{10}$ CFU). The serum antibodies titers in all dogs were monitored at regular interval for eight weeks after challenge (AC) by standard tube agglutination test, plate agglutination test, rose bengal test, 2-mercaptoethanol rapid slide agglutination test and 2-mercaptoethanol tube agglutination test. No antibody titers in Group A and C was detected. Also, the challenge strains were not found from blood of all dogs of Group A and C from 1 week AC till the end of the experiment by culture and modified AMOS-PCR, whereas B. canis and B. abortus challenge strains were detected from blood of Group B and D, respectively. In addition, neither of two challenge bacteria was recovered from liver, spleen, kidneys, lymph nodes and reproductive tracts of Group A and C dogs after postmortem. However, B. canis and B. abortus challenge strains were isolated from these tissues of Group B and D, respectively. These data suggest that SRB51 could be a promising vaccine candidate for immunizing dogs to control canine brucellosis caused by B. canis or B. abortus.

중소기업 전용 B2B 전자상거래 보증 이용기업의 생존특성에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on Survival Characteristics of Enterprises Using B2B e-commerce Guarantee for SMEs)

  • This study conducted an empirical analysis through the Kaplan-Meier method, which is mainly used for clinical experiment analysis, on the survival rate and the survival duration of small and medium-sized enterprises using B2B e-commerce guarantee provided by credit guarantee institutions for activating B2B e-commerce transactions. The variables presented in this study are analyzed by the subdivision of the survival characteristics of enterprises using B2B e-commerce guaranteee by year, enterprises attribute, representative attribute, and guarantee use amount based on the variables tested through previous studies. According to the empirical analysis, SMEs using B2B e-commerce guarantees have a higher survival rate compared to general enterprises Simply by year and have a variety of survival characteristics, and most of the variables have a significant effect except for some variables. The implication of this study is that the researches conducted on enterprises participating in B2B e-commerce for a long period of time to support the establishment of stable business environment of SMEs and the results of empirical analysis on the survival characteristics are useful information to the stakeholders of B2B e-commerce And it can contribute to enhance the survival rate of related enterprises.

  • The michael adducts 2a, b were obtained from the reaction of the phenylacelyl derivative 1 with benzadehyde and p-anisaldehyde and p-anisaldehyde respectively. 2a and 2b were subjected to react with cyanoethanoic acid hydrazide, malononitrile, cyanothioacetamide, cyanoacetamide and 1, 1, 3-tricyano-2-amino propene to yield 4a-h and 5a, b respecitively. Hydrogen peroxide oxidation of 2a, b gave the aurone derivative 6a, b. The pyone derivatives 8a, b were obtained from 2a, b by addition of chioroacetyl chioride followed by dehydrochlorination.

  • The protein, called PTP1B (protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B), joins a list of enzymes that mice are associated with obesity. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of PTP1B inhibitors and taurine on blood lipid profiles in adolescents obesity model rats. Three week-old thirty-six male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly assigned to six groups (high fat diet group; HFD group, high fat diet + taurine group; HF+TR group, high fat diet+PTP1B inhibitor A group; HF+A group, high fat diet+PTP1B inhibitor B; HF+B group, high fat diet+PTP1B inhibitor A+taurine group; HF+A+TR group, high fat diet + PTP1B inhibitor B+taurine group; HF+B+TR group).(omitted)

Genetic Variation in Geographically Peripheral Populations of Bupleurum euphorbioides (Apiaceae) with Comparison to a Widespread Congener, B. longiradiatum

  • Bupleurum euphorbioides is isolated and restricted to high mountains in Korea northeastern China. Its conservation depends on whether it is threatened by inbreeding or a loss of genetic diversity. We compared the genetic variability in B. euphorbioides with B. longiradiatum, a widespread congener, to understand how they differ in their population genetic structure. Although B. euphorbioides showed a little lower genetic variability than B. longiradiatum, $F_{IS}$ statistics for most loci were strongly positive in both B. euphorbioides (0.445) and B. longiradiatum (0.553). In addition, B. euphorbioides showed higher mean $F_{ST}$ value than B. longiradiatum (0.297 vs 0.194). It might be due to the polycarpic nature of B. longiradiatum, which holds higher genetic potentials effectively in homogeneous environment than the monocarpic B. euphorbioides. The results suggested that B. euphorbioides is a genetically viable species, and that they are threatened primarily by environmental factor.

웹서비스를 이용한 비즈니스 통합 플랫폼의 구현 (Implementation of Business Integration Platform using Web Services)

  • 기업간 협업을 실현하기 위해서는 기업간 프로세스 상호연계 (B2Bi)와 기업 애플리케이션 통합(EAI)이 함께 고려되어야 한다. 이미 많은 영역에서 이에 대한 연구와 개발이 이루어지고 있지만, 두 시스템이 각기 개별적인 플랫폼과 환경하에서 설계되고 운영됨으로써 이 둘을 다시 통합해야 하는 문제가 발생하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기업간 협업을 위해, B2Bi 환경의 변화에 유연하게 대응하면서도 B2Bi와 EAI 시스템을 단일의 통합 구조로 구현한 비즈니스 통합 플랫폼을 제공하고자 한다. 본 연구의 통합 플랫폼에서는 협업 프로세스가 비즈니스 통합의 주요 기술로 인식되고 있는 웹서비스(Web Services)를 이용하여 진행될 수 있도록 하였다. 특히, 다양한 비즈니스 통합 표준들이 수용될 수 있도록 이들 표준들을 비교 분석하여 기본적 인 실행 요소들을 정의하였으며, 이를 처리할 수 있으면서도 향후 확장성을 가지는 프로세스 엔진을 개발하였다. 또한 이러한 비즈니스 통합 플랫폼의 검증을 위하여 웹수주 시스템을 구현하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 기업간 협업을 위한 비즈니스 통합의 수준을 높이는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.
