Organic electroluminescent device using Zn(phen)q as emitting layer

  • A novel zinc complex, Zn(phen)q, was synthesized from 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) and 8-hydroxyquinoline (q) as organic ligands and its electroluminescent (EL) properties were characterized. The structure of Zn(phen)q was elucidated by FT-IR, UV-Vis and XPS. The complex Zn(phen)q showed thermal stability up to $300^{\circ}C$ under nitrogen flow, which was measured by TGA and DSC. The photoluminescence (PL) of the Zn(phen)q was measured from the THF solution and the solid film on quartz substrate. The PL emission of Zn(phen)q exhibited green light centered at about 505nm. The EL devices were fabricated by the vacuum deposition. The EL devices having the structure of ITO/a-NPD/Zn(phen)q/Li:Al were studied, where 4,4'-bis[N-(1-naphthyl)-N-phenylamino]biphenyl(a-NPD) used as a hole transport layer(HTL). a-NPD has high Tg of $96^{\circ}C$ and thus makes the device thermally stable. The EL emission of Zn(phen)q exhibited also green light centered at 532nm.

  • The cost is known to be proportional to the size of sample. We consider a cost function of the form Cost=c1np+c2npmq where c1, c2 p, and q are all positive constants. This cost function is to be used in finding an optimal allocation in two-stage cluster sampling. The optimal allocations of n and m gives the properties of uniqueness under some conditions and of monotonicity with p>0 when q=1.

  • In this paper, we study analytic and geometric properties of the solution q(z) to the differential equation q(z) + zq'(z)/q(z) = h(z) with the initial condition q(0) = 1 for a given analytic function h(z) on the unit disk |z| < 1 in the complex plane with h(0) = 1. In particular, we investigate the possible largest constant c > 0 such that the condition |Im [zf"(z)/f'(z)]| < c on |z| < 1 implies starlikeness of an analytic function f(z) on |z| < 1 with f(0) = f'(0) - 1 = 0.

일본 후지산의 감쇠구조 (Attenuation Structure of the Mt. Fuji Region, Japan)

  • 일본 후지산은 역사적, 지질학적, 그리고 최근의 지진학적 징후로부터 화산활동의 재개에 의한 재해가능성이 있어 화산감시연구가 집중되고 있다. 후지산 감시활동의 일환으로 축적된 방대한 주변지역 지진자료를 바탕으로 단일산란모델에 의한 코다감쇠상수($Q_c^{-1}$)와 다중시간창분석에 의한 고유 및 산란감쇠상수 ($Q_i^{-1}$, $Q_s^{-1}$)를 측정하였다. 본 연구는 후지산 아래에 존재하는 것으로 여겨지고 있는 용암체의 감쇠구조에 초점을 맞추기 위해 정상에서 반경 5km 이내의 지대를 지진파가 통과하는 '후지산 근방', 지진파 통과지역이 모두 반경 20 km 바깥인 '먼 후지산'으로 자료를 분류하였다. 본 연구는 자료가 풍부하여 비교적 작은 오차범위를 나타내고 있는데, '후지산 근방'의 모든 감쇠상수 수 $Q^{-1}$는 '먼 후지산'에 비해 컸으며, 두 지대 공히 고주파 영역에서의 $Q_i^{-1}$값은 $Q_s^{-1}$ 값에 비해 높은 값이었다. 그러나, '후지산 근방'의 $Q_i^{-1}$ 값은 다른 화산지역에 비해 낮았는데, 이는 하와이화산과 같은 활동적인 화산에 비해 용융도의 비율이 낮거나 마그마활동이 덜한 것으로 해석된다.

  • Let R be a noncommutative prime ring of characteristic different from 2, Q be its maximal right ring of quotients and C be its extended centroid. Suppose that $f(x_1,{\ldots},x_n)$ be a noncentral multilinear polynomial over $C,b{\in}Q,F$ a b-generalized derivation of R and d is a nonzero derivation of R such that d([F(f(r)), f(r)]) = 0 for all $r=(r_1,{\ldots},r_n){\in}R^n$. Then one of the following holds: (1) there exists ${\lambda}{\in}C$ such that $F(x)={\lambda}x$ for all $x{\in}R$; (2) there exist ${\lambda}{\in}C$ and $p{\in}Q$ such that $F(x)={\lambda}x+px+xp$ for all $x{\in}R$ with $f(x_1,{\ldots},x_n)^2$ is central valued in R.

  • Over the years, there has been increasing interest in solving mathematical problems with the aid of computers. The main purpose of this paper is to investigate the roots of the q-Bernoulli polynomials $B_{n,q}{^r}(x)$ for values of the index n by using computer. Finally, we consider the reflection symmetries of the q-Bernoulli polynomials $B_{n,q}{^r}(x)$.

CuO ${B_2}{O_3}$첨가에 따른 $PbWO_4$-$TiO_2$세라믹스의 마이크로파 유전특성 (Effects of CuO and ${B_2}{O_3}$Additions on Microwave Dielectric Properties of $PbWO_4$-$TiO_2$Ceramic)

  • 적층일체형 RF 수동소자 모듈 구현을 위한 저온소결 유전체로의 사용을 위해 B$_2$O$_3$ 및 CuO의 첨가가 PbWO$_4$-TiO$_2$계 세라믹의 고주파 유전특성에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 본 연구자는 PbWO$_4$가 8$50^{\circ}C$에서 소결이 가능하고 우수한 유전특성($\varepsilon$$_{r}$=21.5, Q$\times$f$_{0}$=37200 GHz, $ au$$_{f}$ =-31 ppm/$^{\circ}C$)을 보여 LTCC 재료로의 응용가능성이 있다고 판단하였다. 이에 PbWO$_4$$\tau$$_{f}$ 조절을 위해 TiO$_2$를 첨가하여 8$50^{\circ}C$에서 소결한 결과 TiO$_2$의 함량이 8.7 mol%일 때 $\tau$$_{f}$ 를 +0.2ppm/$^{\circ}C$로 조절할 수 있었고, 이때 $\varepsilon$$_{r}$ 및 Q$\times$f$_{0}$ 값은 각각 22.3과 21400GHz이었다. TiO$_2$첨가량 증가에 따른 Q$\times$F$_{0}$ 값의 감소는 결정립 크기 감소에 의한 것이었다. Q$\times$f$_{0}$ 값의 개선을 위해 다양한 량의 CuO 및 B$_2$O$_3$를 첨가한 결과, 최적의 유전특성을 얻기 위해서는 적정량의 첨가량이 필요함을 알 수 있었다. CuO 첨가의 경우 유전특성 개선을 위한 최적의 첨가량은 0.05 wt%이었고 이 조성을 8$50^{\circ}C$에서 소결한 결과, 얻어진 유전특성은 $\varepsilon$$_{r}$=23.5, Q$\times$f$_{0}$=32900 GHz, $\tau$$_{f}$ =-2.2 ppm/$^{\circ}C$이었다. B$_2$O$_3$첨가의 경우 최적의 첨가량은 1.0~2.5 wt%이었으며 8$50^{\circ}C$에서 소결한 경우 얻어진 유전특성은 $\varepsilon$$_{r}$20.3~22.1, Q$\times$f$_{0}$=48700~54700 GHz, $\tau$$_{f}$ =+2.4~+8.2ppm/$^{\circ}C$이었다.

ON THE 2-ABSORBING SUBMODULES AND ZERO-DIVISOR GRAPH OF EQUIVALENCE CLASSES OF ZERO DIVISORS

  • Let R be a commutative ring, M be a Noetherian R-module, and N a 2-absorbing submodule of M such that r(N :R M) = 𝖕 is a prime ideal of R. The main result of the paper states that if N = Q1 ∩ ⋯ ∩ Qn with r(Qi :R M) = 𝖕i, for i = 1, . . . , n, is a minimal primary decomposition of N, then the following statements are true. (i) 𝖕 = 𝖕k for some 1 ≤ k ≤ n. (ii) For each j = 1, . . . , n there exists mj ∈ M such that 𝖕j = (N :R mj). (iii) For each i, j = 1, . . . , n either 𝖕i ⊆ 𝖕j or 𝖕j ⊆ 𝖕i. Let ΓE(M) denote the zero-divisor graph of equivalence classes of zero divisors of M. It is shown that {Q1∩ ⋯ ∩Qn-1, Q1∩ ⋯ ∩Qn-2, . . . , Q1} is an independent subset of V (ΓE(M)), whenever the zero submodule of M is a 2-absorbing submodule and Q1 ∩ ⋯ ∩ Qn = 0 is its minimal primary decomposition. Furthermore, it is proved that ΓE(M)[(0 :R M)], the induced subgraph of ΓE(M) by (0 :R M), is complete.

내장산국립공원 식물경관의 군집구조에 관한 연구(I) (A Study on the Community Structure of Vegetation Landscape in Naejangsan National(I))

  • This study analyzed the distribution and structure of the vegetation landscape in Naejangsan National Park. The plant distribution was investigated using a field survey. There were 72 sites sampled using the clumpled sampling method. The data derived from the investigation was analyzed using the quantitative analysis of Bray-Curtis method. The analysis was performed by the classification of TWINSPAN. The ordination of DCA and RA was used for the species composition and successional trends. The results are as follows; 1. Quercus. serrata-Q. variabilis community as 21.76(16.49$\textrm{km}^2$), was the largest community in the actual vegetation of the Naejangsan National Park. The degree of green naturality index 8 area covered 64.8% of the study area and the index 6 area did 16%. 2. Classified by the ordination of DCA and environmental variables, such as the plant community was divided into seven groups according to the altitude and forming groups; Chamaecy Paris. pisifera-P.densiflora community, P.densiflora community, Q.variailis community, T.nuciofera-A.palmatum community. 3. Ther species diversity and evenness indices of C.pisifera-P.densiflora community, P.densiflora community appeared low but C.laxiflora communitywhich was the most stable community in the study area. 4. The similarity indices between Q.variabilis community and Q.serrata-Q.variabilis community were calculated 58.84%, but those between other communities were comparatively low level. 5. The successional trends of DBH class seem to be from C. pisifera-P.densiflora community, P.densiflora community to Quercus species community and from Q.variabilis community, Q.serrata-Q.variabilis community to Carpinus species community. 6. Results suggested that the successional trends in Naejangsan National Park; P.densiflora community\longrightarrowQ.variablilis community, Q.serrata-Q.variabilis community\longrightarrowC.laxiflora community in sequence.
