  • The structural, dielectric and piezoelectric properties of $[Bi_{1-x}(Na_{0.7-x}K_{0.2}Li_{0.1})]_{0.5}BaxTiO_3$ (BNKLBxT) ceramics were studied for the compositional range, x = 0-0.08. The samples were prepared by conventional sintering technique. The result of X-ray diffraction (XRD) suggest that $Ba^{2+}$ diffuse into the $[Bi(Na_{0.7}K_{0.2}Li_{0.1})]_{0.5}TiO_3$ (BNKLT) lattices to form a solid solution with a single phase perovskite structure. The ceramic show excellent piezoelectric and ferroelectric properties, and optimum properties measured are as follows: piezoelectric constant $d_{33}=230pC/N$, planar electromechanical coupling factor $k_p\;=\;40.3%$, remanent polarization $P_r\;=\;30\;{\mu}C/cm^2$, and coercive field $E_c\; =\;2.5\;kV/mm$, respectively.

  • Hardy's inequality is refined non-trivially as the form $${\int_{0}^{{\infty}}}\{{\frac{1}{x}}{\int_{0}^{x}}f(t)dt\}^pdx{\leq}Q_f{\times}({\frac{p}{p-1}})^p{\int_{0}^{x}}f^p(x)dx$$ for some $Q_f:0{\leq}Q_f{\leq}1$. $P{\acute{o}}lya$-Knopp's inequality is also refined by the similar form.

  • In allelic model $X\;=\;(x_1,\;x_2,\;\cdots,\;x_d)$, $$M_f(t)\;=\;f(p(t))\;-\;\int_0^t\;Lf(p(t))ds$$ is a P-martingale for diffusion operator L under the certain conditions. In this note, we define $T_tf\;=\;E_{p_0}^{p^*}\;[f((P(t))]$ for $t\;{\geq}\;0$ for using a new diffusion operator $L^*$ and we show the diffusion relations between $T_t$ and diffusion operator $L^*$.

  • This study was performed to investigate tree injury with air pollution and acid precipitation in industrial area and rural area. This study analyzed the ion properties of pollutant precipitated in the forest of Ulsan & Onsan area and correlation between S $O_2$concentration in air and the degree of forest decline. pH of industrial area was lower than that of rural area and electrical conductivity and pH had a negative correlation(r=-.7861$^{**}$). Correlation of cation and anion(especially S $O_{4}$$^{2-}$, N $O_{3}$$^{[-10]}$ ) in precipitation and S $O_2$in air was higher in industrial area. In seasonal change, winter and spring were higher. In the analysis of correlation between forest decline and variables of precipitation properties, correlation coefficient was higher by following order: S $O_{4}$$^{2-}$>pH>EC>N $O_{3}$$^{[-10]}$ >S $O_{2}$$^{2-}$>C $l^{[-10]}$ . Regression formula by computation was Y = 5.1007-0.7811 $X_2$(pH) +0.0253 $X_{5}$ (S $O_{4}$$^{2-}$) +0.0275 $X_{6}$ (N $O_{3}$$^{[-10]}$ ). In considering the result of this study, it was predicted that air pollution and acid rain would affect soil acidification and forest decline continuously.y.

  • In this paper, we investigate the superstability problem for the pexiderized cosine functional equations f(x+y) +f(x−y) = 2g(x)h(y), f(x + y) + g(x − y) = 2f(x)g(y), f(x + y) + g(x − y) = 2g(x)f(y). Consequently, we have generalized the results of stability for the cosine($d^{\prime}Alembert$) and the Wilson functional equations by J. Baker, $P.\;G{\check{a}}vruta$, R. Badora and R. • The present study compared the developmental potential, telomerase activity and transcript levels of X-linked genes (ANT3, HPRT, MeCP2, RPS4X, XIAP, XIST and ZFX) in the bovine somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT) embryos derived from different age and cell cycle of female donor nucleus. In experiment 1, the fusion rate, cleavage rate to 2-cell stage, developmental rate to blastocyst stage, and the mean number of total and ICM cells was slightly increased in embryos cloned with fetal fibroblasts compared to those with adult fibroblasts, but there was no significantly (p<0.05) differences. Telomerase activity was also similar in blastocysts cloned with fetal and adult fibroblasts. Up-regulated RPS4X and down-regulated MeCP2, XIAP, and XIST transcript level were observed in blastocysts cloned with adult fibroblasts, compared to those with fetal fibroblasts. In experiment 2, the fusion rate, cleavage rate to 2-cell stage, developmental rate to blastocyst stage, and the mean number of total and ICM cells was significantly (p<0.05) increased in embryos cloned with fetal fibroblasts at early G1 phase of the cell cycle, compared to those of fetal fibroblasts at late G1 phase. DNMT1 transcript was observed to significantly (p<0.05) increased in the fetal fibroblasts at 3 hrs after trypsin treatment of confluent culture. Further, level of telomerase activity and transcribed X-linked genes was also significantly (p<0.05) higher in the early G1 SCNT blastocysts than those of late G1. The results imply that fetal fibroblasts at early G1 phase induces the enhanced developmental potential and up-regulated telomerase activity and X-linked gene, but aberrant transcript pattern of X-linked genes may be displayed in the SCNT embryos.

  • Objective: The aim of this study was to analyze X-factor, triple X-factor, and the center of pressure (COP) according to the feel of golf driver swing. Method: For this research, 9 golfers from the Korea Professional Golfers' Association (age: $30.11{\pm}2.98yrs$, height: $178.00{\pm}8.42cm$, weight: $76.22{\pm}8.42kg$, experience: $10.06{\pm}3.11yrs$) were recruited to participate in the experiment. Twelve Motion Analysis Eagle-4 cameras were installed and an image analysis was conducted by using the NLT (non-linear transformation) method, and 2 units of Kistler type 5233A dynamometer were used to measure ground reaction force. The sampling ratio was set at 1000 Hz. The golfers each took 10 swings by using their own driver, and chose the best and worse feel from among 10 shots. A paired-sample t-test was used to analyze the results. Results: In regard to feel, no change in head speed, X-factor, and the triple X-factor's X-factor stretch, hip rise, and head swivel, was observed (p>.05). Regarding ground reaction force, a difference was observed between the top of the backswing (p<.05) and impact (p<.05) in the vertical force of the left foot. For COP, a difference was also observed between the mid backswing (p<.001), late backswing (p<.001), and top of the backswing (p<.05) for the right foot X-axis and Y-axis mid follow through (p<.01). Conclusion: It can be reasoned that, irrespective of feel, the head speed, X-factor and triple X-factor's X-factor stretch, hip rise and head swivel did not have an effect on drive distance for domestic golfers, and the vertical reaction force of the left foot and left-right movement span's pressure dispersal of the right foot had an increasing effect on drive distance.

  • For a fixed function h we deal with a class of convolution transforms $f\;{\rightarrow}\;f\;*\;h$, where $(f\;*\;h)(x)\;=\frac{1}{2x}\;{\int_{{R_{+}}^2}}^{e^1{\frac{1}{2}}(x\frac{u^2+y^2}{uy}+\frac{yu}{x})}\;f(u)h(y)dudy,\;x\;\in\;R_{+}$ as integral operators $L_p(R_{+};xdx)\;\rightarrow\;L_r(R_{+};xdx),\;p,\;r\;{\geq}\;1$. The Young type inequality is proved. Boundedness properties are investigated. Certain examples of these operators are considered and inversion formulas in $L_2(R_{+};xdx)$ are obtained.

  • This study was been conducted to determine chemical characteristics of soils in the major districts cultivating flue-cured tobacco plant. Also native soil productivities were measured by means of bioassay planting tobacco plant without fertilizer at 87 selected lolls through pot and field experiments. Inorganic nutrient in soils affecting the dry weight of tobacco leaves cultivated in the field were investigated. The results obtained are summarized as follows; 1. Among soil chemical characteristics, pH, $NO_3$-N, $NH_4$-N , $P_2O_5$, and Mg Influenced significantly the dry weight of tobacco loaves In pot experiment, whole In the field experiments, pH, $NO_3$-N, $NO_3$-N+$NH_4$-N, and Ca had influence. 2. Correlation coefficients between soil chemical characteristics and dry weight of tobacco leaves were higher in pot experiment than field. The results revealed that soil morphological characteristics might more close influence on dry weight of tobacco leaves than chemical characteristics. 3. For prediction of dry weight (Productivity) of tobacco leaves without fertilizer multiple regression analysis were introduced using troll chemical characteristics. A combination of pH, $NO_3$-N, and Ca was very reliable for prediction of productivity as equation. y=5.02+18.07$x_1$ +2.61$x_2$ +5.36$x_3$ R=0.444** Where $x_1$ : pH, $x_2$ : $NO_3$-N, $x_3$:Ca

  • In this paper, the authors establish the conditions for the extinction of solutions, in finite time, of the fast diffusive p-Laplace equation $u_t=div({\mid}{\nabla}u{\mid}^{p-2}{\nabla}u)+a{\int}_{\Omega}u^q(y,t)dy$, 1 < p < 2, in a bounded domain ${\Omega}{\subset}R^N$ with $N{\geq}1$. More precisely, it is shown that if q > p-1, any solution vanishes in finite time when the initial datum or the coefficient a or the Lebesgue measure of the domain is small, and if 0 < q < p-1, there exists a solution which is positive in ${\Omega}$ for all t > 0. For the critical case q = p-1, whether the solutions vanish in finite time or not depends crucially on the value of $a{\mu}$, where ${\mu}{\int}_{\Omega}{\phi}^{p-1}(x)dx$ and ${\phi}$ is the unique positive solution of the elliptic problem -div(${\mid}{\nabla}{\phi}{\mid}^{p-2}{\nabla}{\phi}$) = 1, $x{\in}{\Omega}$; ${\phi}(x)$=0, $x{\in}{\partial}{\Omega}$. This is a main difference between equations with local and nonlocal sources.
