The relationship between the precipitation of secondary phase and the thermal properties of Al-4.5%Cu alloy (in wt.%) after various heat treatments has been studied. Solid solution treatment of alloy was performed at 808 K for 6 hours, followed by warm water quenching; then, the samples were aged in air at 473 K for different times. The thermal diffusivity of the Al-4.5%Cu alloy changed with the heat treatment conditions of the alloy at temperatures below 523 K. The as-quenched specimen had the lowest thermal diffusivity, and as the artificial aging time increased, the thermal diffusivity of the specimen increased in the temperature range between 298 and 523 K. For the specimen aged for five hours, the thermal conductivity was 12% higher than that of the as-quenched specimens at 298 K. It is confirmed that the thermal diffusivity and thermal conductivity of the Al-4.5%Cu alloy significantly depend on their thermal history at temperatures below 523 K. The precipitation and dissolution of the Al2Cu phase were confirmed via DSC for the alloys, and the formation of coefficient of thermal expansion peaks in TMA was caused by precipitation. The precipitation of supersaturated solid solution of Al-4.5%Cu alloys had an additional linear expansion of ≈ 0.05 % at 643 K during thermal expansion measurement.

Objectives : One of the most important cause of spondylolisthesis is it's epidemiological structure and L5's stability takes a significant role. The purpose of this study is to assess the difference of the Tuffier's line among of Spondylolythesis patients. Methods : We analyzed the Anterior view of lumbar spine checked at erect position on 60 patients who had been diagnosed as spondylolythesis. We investigated the Tuffier's Line on X-ray film. Results and Conclusions : Age distribution was 15 to 66 and the average was 47.81. Men were 19 cases(31.6%) and women were 41 cases(68.4%). Compared to men, women were more exposed to spondylolisthesis and for the age distribution, 50's showed the biggest portion. Group of normal people showed proportion of 14.3% at L4, 44% at L4/5 and 41.7% at L5 each. And group of patients showed proportion of 48.4% at L4, 35% at L4/5 and 51.6% at L5 each. Comparing these results, significance probability was 0.004(<0.05) which was significant. As the results of comparing the relation between L4/5 and L5/S1 patients, Normal group showed average of 3.33 which were close to L4/5. When there are spondylolisthesis at L4/5, averege was 3.33, placed at lower part of the vertebra body. When there are spondylolisthesis at L5/S1, averege was 3.566, placed between lower part of the veterbra body of L4 and L4/5. The p value of Normal group and L4/5 spondylolisthesis patient group was 0.022(p<0.05) which was significant. But the p value of Normal group and L5/S1 spondylolisthesis patient group was 0.0239 which was not significant. Also p value of L4/5 spcndylolisthesis patient group and L5/S1 spondylolisthesis patient group was 0.721 which was also not significant.

Background: To compare the quality of life (QoL), the convenience of chemotherapy and satisfaction between colon cancer patients treated with FOLFOX4 and XELOX. Methods: The study was conducted in 26 patients with stage III colon cancer. Patients were received FOLFOX4 (n=17) or XELOX (n=9). QoL, convenience, and satisfaction were assessed using the Quality of Life Questionnaire-C30 (QLQ-C30), Quality of Life Questionnaire-Chemotherapy Induced Peripheral neuropathy (QLQ-CIPN) and Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy Chemotherapy Convenience and Satisfaction Questionnaire (FACIT-CCSQ), respectively. Patients completed questionnaires at baseline, at cycle 4 (C4) and cycle 8 (C8) (FOLFOX4) or at cycle 3 (C3) and cycle 6 (C6) visits (XELOX) and at their final visit. Results: In the QLQ-C30, at the final visit, XELOX patients had better functional scores than FOLFOX4 patients (physical: 85.7 vs.60.4, p=0.03; role: 83.3 vs. 57.5, p=0.04) as well as better symptom scores (constipation: 9.5 vs. 40.4, p=0.01). In CIPN, at the C6/C8 visit, XELOX patients had lower motor scale scores than FOLFOX4 patients (3.8 vs. 21.6, p=0.02). Moreover, at the C6/C8 visit, XELOX was more convenient than FOLFOX4 in FACIT-CCSQ (79.7 vs. 55.5, p=0.04). Male patients were especially likely to consider XELOX to be more convenient (90.0 vs. 55.0, p=0.01) and satisfactory (55.4 vs. 26.2, p=0.03) and fewer concern (91.0 vs. 65.0, p=0.03) than FOLFOX4. XELOX patients spent fewer days on hospital visits at C3/C4, C6/C8 and final visit (2.8 vs. 4.2, p=0.01; 2.7 vs. 4.1, p=0.01; 3.0 vs. 4.5, p=0.01). Conclusion: XELOX may be a better adjuvant chemotherapy choice for patients with colon cancer than FOLFOX4 in terms of QoL, convenience, and satisfaction.
In the previous paper [4], we classified the Weierstrass semigroups at a pair of inflection points of multiplicities d and d - 1 on a smooth plane curve of degree d. In this paper, as a continuation of those results, we classify all semigroups each of which arises as a Weierstrass semigroup at a pair of inflection points of multiplicities d, d - 1 and d - 2 on a smooth plane curve of degree d.
Purpose: To research the changes of Skin Resistance Variability(SRV) over the period of ovarian cycle of healthy young women with normal and regular menstrual cycles using Oriental Medical Diagnose Autonomic system-3000 (OMD-3000). Methods: We measured SRV of 15 women who were working at O O Oriental Hospital from July to Oct. 2008. Each woman took the OMD-3000 test 8 times during 2 menstrual cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 phases-follicular phase, ovulation, luteal phase and menstruation. We analyse the data by SPSS 12.0 for windows. the one-way ANOVA by Repeated Measure(p<0.05). Results: 1. (1) The Factor AA means at zone 1 were 0.77$\pm$0.40, at zone 2 were 1.07$\pm$0.68, at zone 3 were 0.77$\pm$0.35, at zone 4 were 0.68$\pm$0.32, at zone 5 were 0.74$\pm$0.29, at zone 6 were 0.85$\pm$0.30, and at zone 7 were 0.74$\pm$0.29. The Factor AA means were lower than normal range at zone 1,3,4,5,6 and 7. The graph pattern of M shape was caused by the Factor AA means at zone 2 and zone 6 were higher than others. (2) The Factor AA means at zone 1 and zone 3 show abnormal regulation state. 2. During the menstruation. the Factor AA means were higher at zone 1,2 and 3 than other zones. During the ovulation, the Factor AA means were higher at zone 4,5,6 and 7 than other zones. Especially at the menstruation phase in zone 2 and at the ovulation phase in zone 6 tend to be highest means than other phases respectively. 3. However there were no significant difference of means during 4 ovarian phases in 7 zones except ovulation phase to luteal phase at zone 4(p = 0.013). Conclusion: The results suggest that changes of SRV during 4 menstrual cycles are not variables in reading 7-zone-diagnostic system. Further study will be needed.
The crystal structure of partially $Ag^+$-exchanged zeolite A, $Ag_{3.2}Na_{8.8}$-A, vacuum dehydrated at $360^{\circ}C$ and then exposed to 0.1 torr of cesium vapor for 12 hours at $250^{\circ}C$ has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction techniques in the cubic space group Pm3m (a = 12.262(2)${\AA})\;at\;21(1)^{\circ}C$. The structure was refined to the final error indexes $R_1=0.068\;and\;R_2=0.072$ by using 338 reflections for which $I_o\;>\;3{\sigma}(I_o)$ and the composition of unit cell is $Ag_{3.2}Cs_{8.8}-A.\;3\;Cs^+$ ions lie on the centers of the 8-rings at sites of D4h symmetry. Two crystallographycally different 6-ring $Cs^+$ ions were found: 1.5 $Cs^+$ ions at Cs(2) are located inside of sodalite cavity and 4.3 $Cs^+$ ions at Cs(3) are located in the large cavity. The fractional occupancies observed at Cs(2) and Cs(3) indicate that the existence of at least three types of unit cells with regard to the 6-ring $Cs^+$ ions. For example, 50% of unit cells may have two $Cs^+$ ions at Cs(2) and 4 $Cs^+$ ions at Cs(3). 30% of unit cells may have one Cs+ ion at Cs(2) and 5 $Cs^+$ ions at Cs(3). The remaining 20% would have one $Cs^+$ ion at Cs(2) and 4 $Cs^+$ ions at Cs(3). On threefold axes of the unit cell two non-equivalent Ag atom positions are found in the large cavity, each containing 0.64 and 1.92 Ag atoms, respectively. A crystallographic analysis may be interpreted to indicate that 0.64 $(Ag_5)^+$ clusters are present in each large cavity. This cluster may be viewed as a tetrasilver molecule $(Ag_4)^0$(bond length, 2.84${\AA}$) stabilized by the coordination of one $Ag^+$ ion.

The Characteristics of the flow field through cylinders with in-line and staggered arrangements were calculated by vortex method. Vortex distributions and velocity profiles around the cylinders with in-line and staggered arrangements were simulated at the pitch ratio of Pt/D=1.25~2.0 and Reynolds number of Re=$4.0{\times}10^1{\sim}4.0{\times}10^4$. As the results the vortices of clockwise at the upper separation point cylinder and the vortices of anticlockwise at the lower separation point of each cylinder were generated at both in-line and staggered arrangements. The generation of the reverse flow in the rear region of the cylinders was caused by the pitch ratio and Reynolds number, the boundary region was at the pitch ratio of Pt/D=1.5 and Reynolds number of Re=$4.0{\times}10^2{\sim}4.0{\times}10^3$ in case of in-line arrangement and was at the pitch ratio of Pt/D=1.4 and Reynolds number of Re=$4.0{\times}10^1{\sim}4.0{\times}10^2$ in case of staggered arrangement.
Calcium phosphate was prepared by chemical reaction formula using Oyster shells and $H_3$$PO_4$solutions. After added to 0.1 M∼0.9$ M H_3$$PO_4$ solution for oyster shell, prepared powders were investigated for heating properties and formation phase with heat treatment temperatures. As the results of XRD analysis of heated powders at $500^{\circ}C$∼$1200^{\circ}C$,$ CaCO_3$ phases were observed at the temperature of below 900 TEX>$^{\circ}C$ and in the condition of 0.1 M∼0.9 M $H_3$$PO_4$ solutions. However, $CaCO_3$, $CaPO_3$(OH) and $Ca_3$($PO_4$)$_2$ phases were appeared at the temperature range between $500∼900^{\circ}C$ and in the solution of 0.7 M to 0.9 M $H_3$$PO_4$. $Ca_{ 5}$($PO_4$)$_3$(OH) and CaO phases due to the decarbonation of oyster shells($CaCO_3$) were appeared at above $1000^{\circ}C$ and in the solution of below 0.5 M $H_3$X$PO_4$. However in the case of above 0.7 M $H_3$$H_4$ solutions, $Ca_{5}$ ($PO_4$)$_3$(OH) was decomposed into $Ca_3$($PO_4$)$_2$ at more higher 100$0^{\circ}C$. Thus $Ca_3$(X$Ca_4$)$_2$ phases were appeared at higher than 100$0^{\circ}C$.
A survey on the status of sanitary education and recognition and perceived performance of cooking operations related to sanitation for cooks at nine deluxe hotels in the Seoul area was conducted. The frequency of a food sanitary training program inside the hotel was 94.0%, and the frequency of training was 'once a month' at 68.5%. The program was taught by a hygienist in the hotel (62.7%), and 64.2% of cooks always attended. Cooks' recognition of HACCP was 3.52, and the importance of education on HACCP was higher at 3.77. Cook's' level of sanitary management was satisfactory with an average of 3.83 out of 5 in a Likert scale. The results showed a high average (4.08) for importance of personal hygiene during cooking, but satisfaction of personal hygiene was rather low at 3.92. Cooks' recognition of food sanitation in work field was very high at 4.15. The average scale of recognition on personal hygiene was 4.36, and out of 10 items related to personal hygiene, 'maintaining hand hygiene' showed the highest recognition (4.43). In a performance scale, the average was 4.24, and 'performing annual health examination' was the highest at 4.38. Perceived recognition of 18 items related to food sanitation had an average of 4.41, whereas the average for performance was lower at 4.31. Perceived recognition of 12 items related to cooking equipments had an average of 4.39, and average scale of performance was 4.28. Therefore, cooks' high recognition of food sanitation but rather low recognition of satisfaction of personal hygiene and perceived performance indicated that systematic sanitation management monitoring tools are necessary for higher performance.
Artemisia Iwayomogi Compositae) has been used clinically for jaundice, hepatitis, liver cirrhosis etc. The purposes of present study were to examine pharmacological effects of Artemisia Iwayomogi water extract(AIWE) on biochemical parameters (activities of ALP and LAP, contents of glucose, total bilirubin, total protein and albumin in serum, A/G ratio, and levels of hepatic glycogen) against hepatic injury by carbon tetrachloride($CCl_4$) in rats. The results were as follows ; 1. Increased ALP activities by $CCl_4$ were very significantly(p<0.001) decreased in AIWE posttreatment groups at 72 hours and significantly(p<0.05) decreased in AIWE pretreatment groups at 72 hours. Increased LAP activities by $CCl_4$ were significantly (p<0.05) decreased in AIWE posttreatment groups at 72 hours. A little increased total bilirubin contents by $CCl_4$ were very significantly (p<0.001) decreased in AIWE posttreatment groups at 24, 48 and 72 hours. 2. Increased glucose contents by $CCl_4$ were decreased in AIWE posttreatment groups. Decreased hepatic glycogen levels by $CCl_4$, were significantly (p<0.05) increased in AIWE posttreatment groups at 48 and 72 hours. 3. Decreased total protein contents by $CCl_4$ were significantly (p<0.05) increased in AIWE posttreatment groups at 48, 72 hours. Decreased albumin contents by $CCl_4$ were increased in proportion to numbers of AIWE treatments in AIWE pre- and posttreatement groups. Decreased A/G ratios by $CCl_4$ were significantly (p<0.05) increased in AIWE posttreatment groups at 48 hours. In conclusion, AIWE did not affect normal liver function and had hepatoprotective effects rather than direct preventive effects to $CCl_4$-induced cholestasis, damages in metabolisms of glucose, protein and bilirubin.
