Crystal structure refinement and microwave dielectric characteristic of $(1-x)CaTiO_3-x(La_{1/3}Nd_{1/3})TiO_3$ ($(1-x)CaTiO_3-x(La_{1/3}Nd_{1/3})TiO_3$계의 결정구조 해석 및 마이크로파 유전 특성)

  • $CaTiO_3-x(La_{1/3}Nd_{1/3}TiO_3\;(0\le \textrm x\le0.8)$ system was prepared by reaction of $CaCO_3,\;LaO_3,\;Nd_2CO_3$ and ,TEX>$TiO_2$ mixture at 1673 K, which can be applied for microwave dielectric ceramic materials. The lattice parameters of(1-x))$CaTiO_3-x(La_{1/3}Nd_{1/3}TiO_3\;(0\le \textrm x\le0.8)$ system increased with the increase of x. Its structure was investigated by Rietveld profile-analysis of XRD in detail. Cations $ La^{3+}$ and Nd^{3+}$ were located at the $Ca^{2+}$ site in the range of $0\le \textrm x\le0.8$. crystal structure in $;(0\le \textrm x\le0.6)$ maintained space group Pnma with CaTiO_3 structure. The tiled and distorted $TiO_6$ was gradually released with the increase of x in $0\le \textrm x\le0.6$ .The structure was changed to a new space group of $Pmn2_1$ at the x value of 0.8. The relative dielectric constant $(\epsilon_r)$ of $(1-x)CaTiO_3-x(La_{1/3} Nd_{1/3})TiO_3$ ($(0\le \textrm x\le0.8)$) system was exponentially decreased by with the increased of x. The temperature coefficient of resonant frequency $(\tau_f)$ decreased with the increase of x in $0\le \textrm x\le0.6$ and then increased again at x=0.8 due to the change of crystal structure. The value of Q$\cdot f_o$ was 13800 (GHz) at x=0.2 and was very low under 2000 (GHz) in 0.4$\leq$x$\leq$0.8.

  • The microwave dielectric ceramic properties of $CaTiO_3-(Li_{1/2}Nd_{1/2})TiO_3$ were investigated. The solid solution of $CaTiO_3-(Li_{1/2}Nd_{1/2})TiO_3$ had the perovskite structure in the range of all composition. The dielectric constant and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency of solid solution were decreased with the contend of $(Li_{1/2}Nd_{1/2})TiO_3$, whereas, the $Q{\times}f$ value was increased. In the $(1-X)CaTiO_3-X(Li_{1/2}Nd_{1/2})TiO_3$ system, the microwave properties could be controlled by the variation of X, X is weight fraction. Typical value of K=119, $Q{\times}f=2970$ and $TCF=14ppm/^{\circ}C$ were obtained for $0.2CaTiO_3-0.8(Li_{1/2}Nd_{1/2})TiO_3$.

  • Ca$_{1-x}$Nd$_{2+x}$3/TiO$_3$계에 대하여 소결 온도 변화(120$0^{\circ}C$-140$0^{\circ}C$) 및 Nd$^{3+}$ 의 치환량 (0.15$\leq$x$\leq$0.51)에 따른 마이크로파 유전특성을 조사하였다. 동일 조성의 경우 소결 온도 변화에 따라 Qf(Q=1/tan$\delta$, f=frequency)는 밀도 증가에 의해 다소 증가되었으나, 유전상수(K)는 커다란 변화가 없었다. 소결 온도가 동일한 경우 Qf는 x=0.42 조성까지는 증가하였으나, x=0.51 조성에서는 상대 밀도와 결정립 크기의 감소로 인해 감소하였다. Nd$^{3+}$ 의 치환량이 증가함에 따라 A-자리의 평균 이온 반경의 세제곱에 비례하여 유전상수(K)는 감소하였고, 공진주파수의 온도계수(TCF)는 tolerance factor(t)와 A-자리 결합원자가의 감소로 급격히 감소하였으나, 이차상 TiO$_2$의 영향으로 x=0.3 이상에서는 증가하였다.

  • (1-x)NdAlO$_3$-xCaTiO$_3$세라믹스의 결정구조와 마이크로파 유전특성을 조사하였다. 시편의 결정구조는 조성에 따라서 변화하였는데, 그 결정구조는 x$\leq$0.1일 때는 능면정(rhombohedral) 구조를, 0.3$\leq$x$\leq$0.7에서는 정방정 (tetragonal) 구조를 그리고, x$\geq$0.7일 때 다시 사방정 (orthorhombic) 구조로 바뀌었다. 또한 (1-x)NdAlO$_3$-xCaTiO$_3$세라믹스에서 이차상의 두 종류가 발견되었다. x$\leq$0.5인 시편에서는 Nd$_4$Al$_2$O$_{9}$상이, x$\geq$0.7인 시편에서는 Al-rich상이 발견되었다. x가 증가함에 따라, 유전율 ($\varepsilon$$_{r}$)과 공진주파수의 온도계수 ($ au$$_{f}$ )가 증가하였고, Q$\times$f 값은 x의 증가에 따라 증가하며, x=0.5일 때 최대값을 얻었다. 그리고 0.3NdAlO$_3$-0.7CaTiO$_3$에서 Q$\times$f=46,000, $\varepsilon$$_{r}$=45 그리고 $\tau$$_{f}$ =-1.5 ppm/$^{\circ}C$의 우수한 마이크로파 유전특성을 얻을 수 있었다.

  • Ceramics of xCaTiO$_3$-(1-x)Li$_{0.5}$Nd$_{0.5}$TiO$_3$(xCT-(1-x)LNT) series have been prepared by the mixed oxide route. Powders were calcined at 110$0^{\circ}C$ ; cylindrical specimens were fired at temperatures in the range 1300-150$0^{\circ}C$. Sintered products were typically 90-95% dense. The microstructures were dominated by angular grains typically 1.3${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ to 3.5 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ in size. Twinning in the microstructures was analysed using Electron Back Scattered Diffraction (EBSD). Microwave dielectric properties of xCT-(1-x)LNT at 2.1 GHz ($\varepsilon$$_{r}$, Qxf, and $\tau$r) were 170,3800 GHz and 744 ppm/$^{\circ}C$ for pure CaTiO$_3$ and 80,2000 GHz and -240 ppm/$^{\circ}C$ for LNT. The $\tau$r decreases almost linearly from 744 for pure CaTiO$_3$ to -240 for pure LNT.LNT.T.

Influence of Heat Diffusing Temperature for a (Sr.Ca)$TiO_3$-based Ceramics on Voltage-Current Properties ((Sr.Ca)$TiO_3$계 세라믹의 전압-전류 특성에 미치는 열확산 온도의 영향)

  • In this paper, the structural and electrical properties of the Sr$_{1-x}$ Ca$_{x}$TiO$_3$ (0$\leq$x$\leq$0.2) (0$\leq$r$\leq$0.2)-based grain boundary layer ceramics were investigated by X-ray, SEM and V-I system. Increasing the Ca content, the average grain size and the lattice constant were decreased. The relative density of all specimens was >96%. The 2nd phase formed by thermal diffusing from the surface lead to a very excellent electrical properties, that is, $\varepsilon$$_{r}$>50000, tan$\delta$<0.05, $\Delta$C< $\pm$ 10%.\pm$ 10%.%.

  • Microstructural investigations of $(1-x)NdAlO_3-xCaTiO_3$ (NACT) complex perovskite compounds were carried out using X-ray diffractometry, neutron diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. When $0.3{\leq}x{\leq}0.9$, NACT had not only the 1 : 1 chemical ordering of cations but also the antiphase and inphase tilting of oxygen octahedron and the antiparallel shift of cations. Both the antiphase boundaries and the ferroelastic domains were present in the microstructure. The long and straight ferroelastic domains became degenerate as x decreases. When x was smaller than 0.3, the chemical ordering was absent and the antiphase tilting of oxygen octahedron was observed. The defects like tangled dislocations and the second phase were also found in the microstructure.

  • In this paper, the $Sr_{1-x}Ca_{x}TiO_{3}(0{\leq}x{\leq}0.2)$ 2)-based grain boundary layer ceramics were fabricated to measured dielectric properties and voltage-current properties. The sintering temperature and time were $1420\sim1520^{\circ}C$, 4hours, in $N_{2}$ gas, respectively. The structural and the dielectric properties were investigated by SEM, X-ray, HP4194A and K6517. The 2nd phase formed by thermal diffusion from the surface lead to a very high apparent dielectric constant, $\varepsilon_r$ > 50000. X-ray diffraction patterns exhibited cubic structure for all specimens. Increasing content of Ca, the peak intensity were decreased.ﱇﶖ⨀ਆᘍ܀㘱㔮㠹㬅K䍄乍
