1.8GHz 대역용 CPWG 안테나 연구 (Study on the CPWG Antenna of 1.8GHz)

  • 본 논문에서는 코프래너 그라운드 도파관(CPWG)에 의해 급전되는 패치 안테나의 설계 방법 및 안테나 특성을 연구하였다. 안테나의 패치 길이, 폭, 위치를 조절하여 안테나와 CPWG 급전선이 임피던스 정합 되도록 하였다. 또한 안테나의 특성을 향상시키기 위해 CPWG 안테나의 설계 변수인 패치 길이. 패치 넓이, 패치 위치 및 그라운드 포지션에 따른 안테나 특성 변화를 HFSS 프로그램을 사용하여 안테나의 주파수 특성을 시뮬레이션 하였다. 이 결과를 바탕으로 1.8GHz LTE 대역에서 사용 가능한 CPWG 안테나를 설계하고, 설계 된 안테나를 유전율 4.4, 두께 0.8mm인 FR4-epoxy 기판을 사용 하여 포토리소그래피 방법으로 안테나를 제작하였다. 제작된 안테나는 최종적으로 회로망 분석기(Network Analyzer)를 통해 안테나 특성을 분석하였다. 측정된 안테나의 주파수 특성은 시뮬레이션 결과와 잘 일치하여 본 연구의 타당성을 확인 할 수 있었다. 제작된 CPWG 안테나는 중심주파수 1.80 GHz, 입력반사손실 -32.1 dB, 대역폭 22 MHz, 임피던스 $50.2{\Omega}$의 결과 값을 보였다. 본 연구에서 제안된 안테나는 LTE 대역에 응용이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

산화탄소로부터 열분해한 탄소의 구조 및 전기이중층 거동 (Structures and Double Layer Performances of Carbons Pyrolized from Carbon Oxides)

  • 산화처리 탄소로부터 상분해시킨 코크스의 구조 및 전기화학적 특성을 조사하였고, KOH 활성화 코크스와 비교하였다. $NaCLO_3$/니들 코크스의 비율이 7.5 이상의 조건에서 산화처리를 행한 graphene 층간 구조를 가진 니들 코크스($d_{002}=3.5{\AA} $)는 산화흑연 구조로 상변화가 일어나고, 이 때 산소함량의 증가와 함께 층간 간격은 $6.9{\AA} $으로 증가하였다. 산화처리 탄소를 $200^{\circ}C$에서 열처리 건조를 하면 상분해가 일어나서 다시 graphene 층간 구조로 복원하고, 층간 간격은 $3.6{\AA} $으로 감소하였다. 그러나, KOH 활성화 과정에서 니들 코크스의 층간 변화는 관찰되지 않았다. 한편, 1차 충전에서 전해질 이온들에 의한 상분해 코크스에의 침입은 1.0 V에서 일어나고, 이는 KOH 활성 코크스보다 작은 수치이다. 상분해 코크스를 이용한 커패시터 셀은 1 kHz에서 $0.57{\Omega}$의 내부저항을 나타내고, 2 전극 시스템에서 0~2.5 V 범위 내에서 측정한 상분해 코크그의 중량 또는 전극 부피 당 용량은 각각 30.3 F/g과 26.9 F/mL을 나타내었고, 이들 특성은 KOH 활성 코크스보다 우수하였다. 상분해 코크스의 우수한 전기화학적 특성은 산화처리-상분해 과정에서의 층간 팽창-수축에 따른 층간 결함과 관련 있는 것으로 판단된다.

Wideband Double-Radiator Circular Disc Annular Monopole Antenna

  • A wideband double radiator circular disc annular monopole antenna is proposed is this work. The radiators are etched on the surfaces of two Taconic TLY-5 substrates with a circular hole cut out of each of the radiators initially at the centers of the radiators with subsequent downward displacement of the holes. The antenna is designed with a two-step feeding transformer system for impedance matching between the input power source supplied by a $50-{\Omega}$ SMA connector and the monopole radiators. The transformer system improves the bandwidth performance at higher frequencies. The proposed antenna achieves a wideband having the capability of working between 0.645 and 18.775 GHz, corresponding to a -10 dB bandwidth of 186.7% with gain ranging from 0.95 to 8.26 dBi. In comparison to other metal disc planar monopole antennas, the proposed antenna has a small total size width due to the size of the ground plane, which has a diameter 100 mm. The frequency range of the antenna provides applications in global positioning systems, mobile communications, ultra-wideband short distance communications, and wireless computer networks.

식물공장 자동화를 위한 공압 실린더를 이용한 육묘베드 이송장치의 이송력 특성 (Transfer Force Characteristics of Seedling Bed Transfer Equipment Using Pneumatic Cylinder for Automation of Plant Factory)

  • This study was performed to offer the data for design of the seedling bed transfer equipment to make the automation of working process in a plant factory. The seedling bed transfer equipment pushing the seedling bed with bearing wheels on the rail for interconnecting each working process by a pneumatic cylinder was made and examined. The examined transfer force to push the seedling bed with a weight of 178.9 N by the pneumatic cylinder with length of 60 cm and section area of 5 $cm^2$ was measured by experiments. The examined transfer forces was compared with theoretical ones calculated by the theoretical formula derived from dynamic system analysis according to the number of the seedling bed and pushing speed of the pneumatic cylinder head at no load. The transfer function of the equipment with the input variable as the pushing speed $V_{h0}$(m/s) and the output variable as the transfer force f(t)(N) was represented as $F(s)=(V_{h0}/k)(s+B/M)/(s(s^2+Bs/M+1/(kM))$ where M(kg), k(m/N) and B(Ns/m) are the mass of the bed, the compression coefficient of the pneumatic cylinder and the dynamic friction coefficient between the seedling bed and the rail, respectively. The examined transfer force curves and the theoretical ones were represented similar wave forms as to use the theoretical formular to design the device for the seedling bed transfer. The condition of no vibration of the transfer force curve was $kB^2>4M$. The condition of transferring the bed by the repeatable impact and vibration force according to difference of transfer distance of the pneumatic cylinder head from that of the bed was as $Ce^{-\frac{3{\pi}D}{2\omega}}<-1$, where ${\omega}=\sqrt{\frac{1}{kM}-\frac{B^2}{4M^2}}$, $C=\{\frac{\frac{B}{2M}-\frac{1}{kB}}{\omega}\}$, $D=\frac{B}{2M}$. The examined mean peak transfer force represented 4 times of the stead state transfer force. Therefore it seemed that the transfer force of the pneumatic cylinder required for design of the push device was 4Bv where v is the pushing speed.

포항지역 지열 개발을 위한 3 차원 자기지전류 탐사 (Three-dimensional magnetotelluric surveys for geothermal development in Pohang, Korea)

  • 포항 저온 지열개발 지역에서 지하구조 규명 및 파쇄대 탐지를 목적으로 3 차원 자기지전류 (MT)탐사를 실시하였다. 현장에서 약 480 km 떨어진 일본 큐슈 지역에 원거리 기준점을 설치하여 양질의 자료를 획득하였다. 대상지역이 바다에 인접한 관계로 바다의 효과를 고려한 3 차원 모델링과 역산을 수행하여 측정된 MT 탐사자료에 포함된 바다효과를 고찰하였다. 그 결과 포항지역에 인접한 바다는 해안선으로부터의 거리에 따라 $1\;Hz{\sim}0.2\;Hz$ 이하의 주파수대에 주로 영향을 미치며, 특히 영일만에 인접한 남동쪽의 측점들이 바다의 영향을 가장 크게 받은 것으로 나타났다. 약 2km 심도 이하의 천부에서는 인접한 바다를 3 차원 역산에 포함시킨 경우와 그렇지 않은 경우가 매우 비슷한 결과를 보였으나, 이보다 심부의 경우는 바다를 포함시키지 않은 3 차원 역산에서 대상지역의 남동쪽에 저비저항 구조가 나타나는데 이는 인접 바다의 영향이 투영되어 나타난 것으로 보인다. 시추 결과 및 역산에 의한 전기비저항 구조를 비교한 결과 대상지역의 지하를 크게 다섯 개의 층으로 구분할 수 있었다. 즉: 1) 10 ohm-m 이하의 전기비저항을 보이는 반고결이암층이 대상지역 북쪽에서는 지표로부터 약 300 m, 남쪽에서는 약 600 m 의 두께로 분포하고; 2) 이암층 내에 수십 ohm-m의 전기비저항을 보이는 화산력응회암 및 조면현무암이 교대로 나타나며; 3) 수백 ohm-m의 전기비저항을 갖는 유문암이 약 400 m 의 두께로; 4) 이후 약 1.5 km 까지는 약 100 ohm-m 의 전기비저항을 보이는 사암 및 이암층이 분포하며; 5) 약 3 km 심도에서 저비저항 구조가 나타나는데 이 층에 대해서는 추가적인 지질학적, 지구물리학적인 조사가 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

  • This paper represents the numerical analysis on effects of radius ratio in a concentric annulus with a rotating inner cylinder. The numerical model consisted of two cylinder which inner cylinder is rotating and outer cylinder is fix, and the axial direction is used the cyclic condition because of the length for axial direction is assumed infinite. The diameter of inner cylinder is assumed 86.8mm, the numerical parameters are angular velocity and radius ratio. Also, the whole walls of numerical model have no-slip and the working fluid is used water at $20^{\circ}C$. The numerical analysis is assumed the transient state to observe the flow variations by time and the 3-D cylindrical coordinate system. The calculation grid adopted a non-constant grid for dense arrangement near the wall side of cylinder, the standard $k-{\omega}$ high Reynolds number model to consider the effect of turbulence flow and wall, the fully implicit method for time term and the quick scheme for momentum equation. The numerical method is compared with the experimental results by Wereley and Lueptow, and the results are very good agreement. As the results, TVF isn't appeared when Re is small because of the initial flow instability is disappear by effect of the centrifugal force and viscosity. The vortex size is from 0.8 to 1.1 for TVF at various $\eta$, and the traveling distance for wavy vortex have the critical traveling distance for each case.

차량 범퍼에 부착된 번호판용 태그 안테나의 설계 (Design for a Tag Antenna Using License Plate Attached Vehicle Bumper)

  • 본 논문은 차량 범퍼에 부착된 번호판을 이용한 900 MHz 대역 RFID 태그 안테나의 설계를 기술하고 있다. 차량 번호판의 위쪽 중앙 지점에 위치한 제안된 태그 안테나의 크기는 162.5${\times}$40${\times}$1 $mm^3$이다. 설계 안테나의 공진 주파수와 - 10 dB 이하의 반사 손실을 가지는 대역폭은 각각 900 MHz와 약 720 MHz(640${\sim}$1,360 MHz)이다. 설계에 고려된 상용 칩의 임피던스는 16-j131${\Omega}$이었고, 칩의 복소 공액 임피던스가 태그 안테나의 입력 임피던스로써 사용되었다. 측정된 반사 손실과 방사 패턴은 계산된 결과들과 잘 일치하였다. 단지 차량 번호판 위에 설계된 태그 안테나의 측정된 인식 거리는 11.5 m였다. 또한, 번호판과 차량 범퍼가 볼트와 너트에 의해 고정되어진 제작된 태그 안테나의 인식 거리는 10.4 m로 관측되었다. 이 측정된 인식 거리는 상용 태그 안테나의 평균 인식 거리보다 약 5 m 이상 먼 거리였다.

지하수 관개에 의한 수도의 멸준양상과 그 방지책에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Rice Yield Decreased by Ground Water Irrigation and Its Preventive Methods)

  • The purposes of this thesis are to clarify experimentally the variation of ground water temperature in tube wells during the irrigation period of paddy rice, and the effect of ground water irrigation on the growth, grain yield and yield components of the rice plant, and, furthermore, when and why the plant is most liable to be damaged by ground water, and also to find out the effective ground water irrigation methods. The results obtained in this experiment are as follows; 1. The temperature of ground water in tube wells varies according to the location, year, and the depth of the well. The average temperatures of ground water in a tubewells, 6.3m, 8.0m deep are $14.5^{\circ}C$ and $13.1^{\circ}C$, respercively, during the irrigation period of paddy rice (From the middle of June to the end of September). In the former the temperature rises continuously from $12.3^{\circ}C$ to 16.4$^{\circ}C$ and in the latter from $12.4^{\circ}C$ to $13.8^{\circ}C$ during the same period. These temperatures are approximately the same value as the estimated temperatures. The temperature difference between the ground water and the surface water is approximately $11^{\circ}C$. 2. The results obtained from the analysis of the water quality of the "Seoho" reservoir and that of water from the tube well show that the pH values of the ground water and the surface water are 6.35 and 6.00, respectively, and inorganic components such as N, PO4, Na, Cl, SiO2 and Ca are contained more in the ground water than in the surface water while K, SO4, Fe and Mg are contained less in the ground water. 3. The response of growth, yield and yield components of paddy rice to ground water irrigation are as follows; (l) Using ground water irrigation during the watered rice nursery period(seeding date: 30 April, 1970), the chracteristics of a young rice plant, such as plant height, number of leaves, and number of tillers are inferior to those of young rice plants irrigated with surface water during the same period. (2) In cases where ground water and surface water are supplied separately by the gravity flow method, it is found that ground water irrigation to the rice plant delays the stage at which there is a maximum increase in the number of tillers by 6 days. (3) At the tillering stage of rice plant just after transplanting, the effect of ground water irrigation on the increase in the number of tillers is better, compared with the method of supplying surface water throughout the whole irrigation period. Conversely, the number of tillers is decreased by ground water irrigation at the reproductive stage. Plant height is extremely restrained by ground water irrigation. (4) Heading date is clearly delayed by the ground water irrigation when it is practised during the growth stages or at the reproductive stage only. (5) The heading date of rice plants is slightly delayed by irrigation with the gravity flow method as compared with the standing water method. (6) The response of yield and of yield components of rice to ground water irrigation are as follows: \circled1 When ground water irrigation is practised during the growth stages and the reproductive stage, the culm length of the rice plant is reduced by 11 percent and 8 percent, respectively, when compared with the surface water irrigation used throughout all the growth stages. \circled2 Panicle length is found to be the longest on the test plot in which ground water irrigation is practised at the tillering stage. A similar tendency as that seen in the culm length is observed on other test plots. \circled3 The number of panicles is found to be the least on the plot in which ground water irrigation is practised by the gravity flow method throughout all the growth stages of the rice plant. No significant difference is found between the other plots. \circled4 The number of spikelets per panicle at the various stages of rice growth at which_ surface or ground water is supplied by gravity flow method are as follows; surface water at all growth stages‥‥‥‥‥ 98.5. Ground water at all growth stages‥‥‥‥‥‥62.2 Ground water at the tillering stage‥‥‥‥‥ 82.6. Ground water at the reproductive stage ‥‥‥‥‥ 74.1. \circled5 Ripening percentage is about 70 percent on the test plot in which ground water irrigation is practised during all the growth stages and at the tillering stage only. However, when ground water irrigation is practised, at the reproductive stage, the ripening percentage is reduced to 50 percent. This means that 20 percent reduction in the ripening percentage by using ground water irrigation at the reproductive stage. \circled6 The weight of 1,000 kernels is found to show a similar tendency as in the case of ripening percentage i. e. the ground water irrigation during all the growth stages and at the reproductive stage results in a decreased weight of the 1,000 kernels. \circled7 The yield of brown rice from the various treatments are as follows; Gravity flow; Surface water at all growth stages‥‥‥‥‥‥514kg/10a. Ground water at all growth stages‥‥‥‥‥‥428kg/10a. Ground water at the reproductive stage‥‥‥‥‥‥430kg/10a. Standing water; Surface water at all growh stages‥‥‥‥‥‥556kg/10a. Ground water at all growth stages‥‥‥‥‥‥441kg/10a. Ground water at the reproductive stage‥‥‥‥‥‥450kg/10a. The above figures show that ground water irrigation by the gravity flow and by the standing water method during all the growth stages resulted in an 18 percent and a 21 percent decrease in the yield of brown rice, respectively, when compared with surface water irrigation. Also ground water irrigation by gravity flow and by standing water resulted in respective decreases in yield of 16 percent and 19 percent, compared with the surface irrigation method. 4. Results obtained from the experiments on the improvement of ground water irrigation efficiency to paddy rice are as follows; (1) When the standing water irrigation with surface water is practised, the daily average water temperature in a paddy field is 25.2$^{\circ}C$, but, when the gravity flow method is practised with the same irrigation water, the daily average water temperature is 24.5$^{\circ}C$. This means that the former is 0.7$^{\circ}C$ higher than the latter. On the other hand, when ground water is used, the daily water temperatures in a paddy field are respectively 21.$0^{\circ}C$ and 19.3$^{\circ}C$ by practising standing water and the gravity flow method. It can be seen that the former is approximately 1.$0^{\circ}C$ higher than the latter. (2) When the non-water-logged cultivation is practised, the yield of brown rice is 516.3kg/10a, while the yield of brown rice from ground water irrigation plot throughout the whole irrigation period and surface water irrigation plot are 446.3kg/10a and 556.4kg/10a, respectivelely. This means that there is no significant difference in yields between surface water irrigation practice and non-water-logged cultivation, and also means that non-water-logged cultivation results in a 12.6 percent increase in yield compared with the yield from the ground water irrigation plot. (3) The black and white coloring on the inside surface of the water warming ponds has no substantial effect on the temperature of the water. The average daily water temperatures of the various water warming ponds, having different depths, are expressed as Y=aX+b, while the daily average water temperatures at various depths in a water warming pond are expressed as Y=a(b)x (where Y: the daily average water temperature, a,b: constants depending on the type of water warming pond, X; water depth). As the depth of water warning pond is increased, the diurnal difference of the highest and the lowest water temperature is decreased, and also, the time at which the highest water temperature occurs, is delayed. (4) The degree of warming by using a polyethylene tube, 100m in length and 10cm in diameter, is 4~9$^{\circ}C$. Heat exchange rate of a polyethylene tube is 1.5 times higher than that or a water warming channel. Use of Dried Stoned Olive Pomace in the Feeding of Lactating Buffaloes: Effect on the Quantity and Quality of the Milk Produced

  • Dried stoned olive pomace (DSOP) was administered to dairy water buffaloes, and their productive performance and milk composition were analysed. Sixteen pluriparous lactating buffaloes were divided into two uniform groups (control and experimental), taking into consideration the following parameters: milk production (2,192 and 2,102 kg) and duration of lactation (254 and 252 d) of the previous year, distance from calving (51 and 43 d), milk production (9.71 and 10.18 kg/d), body condition score (BCS) (6.44 and 6.31) and weight (617 and 653 kg) at the beginning of the trial. Both diets had the same formulation: second cut alfalfa hay 20%, corn silage 42%, concentrate 38% but the two concentrates differed in their formulation, the experimental one contained 15.50% of DSOP as fed. The employed DSOP showed high amounts of secoiridoids, such as 3,4-dihydroxyphenylethanol (3,4-DHPEA) (1.2 g/kg DM), 3,4-dihydroxyphenylethanol-elenolic acid di-aldehyde (3,4-DHPEA-EDA) (12.6 g/kg DM), p-hydroxyphenylethanol-elenolic acid di-aldehyde (p-HPEA-EDA) (5.6 g/kg DM) and lignans, which are known to be powerful bioactive compounds. The control diet had an energy-protein content of 0.86 Milk FU/kg DM and 143.3 g/kg DM of crude protein, whereas the experimental diet of 0.87 Milk FU/kg DM and 146.6 g/kg DM of crude protein. Each animal of the two groups received 17 kg DM/d and each buffalo of the experimental group, by way of the concentrate, ingested 1.05 kg DM/d of DSOP. The trial lasted 40 days. No significant difference was found between the BCS (6.41 and 6.53), live weight (625.93 and 662.50 kg) and milk production (9.69 and 10.08 kg/d) of the two groups, as was the case for fat, protein, lactose, pH and coagulating parameters of the two milks. The milk fat of the experimental group had a significantly higher content of total tocopherols (10.45 vs $8.60{\mu}g/g$, p<0.01) and retinol (3.17 vs $2.54{\mu}g/g$, p<0.01). The content of the reactive substances with tiobarbituric acid (TBARs) was significantly lower in the milk fat of the experimental group (12.09 vs $15.05{\mu}g$ MDA/g, p<0.01). The acid content of the milk fat of the experimental group had a significantly higher content (p<0.05) of C18:0 and of $C18:3{\omega}6$. LC-MS/MS analysis showed the presence of 3,4-DHPEA ($36.0{\mu}g/L$) in the milk of the DSOP-fed buffaloes, while other phenols were not found. DSOP, in the quantity utilized, can be used in the feeding of the lactating buffalo; the dietetic-nutritional characteristics of the milk are improved due to a greater contribution of tocopherols, retinol and the presence of hydroxytyrosol.
