극소형 솔레노이드 RF 칩 인덕터의 설계 및 제작에 대한 연구 (A Study for Optimum Design and Fabrication of Microscale Solenoid RF Chip Inductors)

  • In this study, microscale, high-performance, solenoid-type RF chip inductors were investigated. The size of the RF chip inductors fabricated in this work was 1.0${\times}$0.5${\times}$0.5㎣. 96% $Al_2$ $O_3$and I-type were used as the material and shape of the core, respectively. The copper (Cu) wire with 6 turns was employed as the coils. The diameter (40${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$) and position (middle) of the coil and the length (0.35mm) of solenoid were determined by a high-frequency structure simulator (HFSS) to maximize the performance of the inductors. High frequency characteristics of the inductance (L) and quality-factor (Q) of developed inductors were measured using an RF Impedance/Material Analyzer (HP4291B with HP16193A test fixture). The inductors developed have inductances of 10.8nH and quality factors of 25.2 to 50 over the frequency ranges of 250MHz to l GHz, and show results comparable to those measured for the inductors prepared by CoilCraf $t^{Tm}$ . The simulated data predicted the high-frequency data of the L and Q of the inductors developed well.l.

  • The primary purpose of this study is to investigate reusal techniques of fly ash of combined heat power plant in the construction field, which may contribute to the saving of construction materials and conservating environment. Firstly chemical and physical characteristics of fly ash is analysed. And then, the usability of the concrete is tested by investigating the flowablility and stength development through parameters of various replacement ratios with respect to different mixing conditions. Finally, the durability and mechanical properties(elastic modulus) of the concrete is tested. As the result of the study, the following conclusions are derived : (1) the quantity of the CaO in the fly ash is relatively high based on the chemical analysis, (2)the compressive strength ratio of the mortar is satisfied with the specification, but the unit water ratio increased, (3)high strength concrete of more than 400kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ can be developed in the ranges of FA 30%, W/B 40%, (5)the slump loss with the elapsed time due to the delivery is decreased as the replacement ratio of the fly ash is increased, (6)the modulus of the elasticity is matched withn the specification of the Architectural Institute of Korea.

마우스에서 반복적 저산소 스트레스 정도에 따른 면역동성 효과 (Effects of Different Intensities of Repeated Hypoxic Stress on Immune Functions in Mice)

  • To study the nature of differentially manifested adaptive response of an organism according to the intensities of the stress, the immune effects of different levels of repeated hypoxia were investigated. Four experimental groups (NH : not -handled, 20% : handled, 15% or 10% : exposed to 15% or 10% $\textrm{O}_2$ 씨오투 with balanced nitrogen, respectively) of mice were exposed to different levels of hypoxia for 60 min/day, 5days/week in a repeated and intermittent manner. After 8 weeks' exposure to hypoxia environment, mice were subjected to immune function measurements, A decreased proportion of CD3+ CD8 phenotype cells in the study of splenocyte subsets was observed in the 10% group. Ovalbumin-stimulated IgG2a production was increased in the 15% group, while no changes were noted in the IgGl and IgM production. No significant changes of the antigen-stimulated splenocyte proliferation and the natural killer cell cytotoxicity were found. These results show that the stress effects on the immune systems can be varied according to the strength of the stress and that a mild level of repeated hypoxic stress can enhance the immune function of mice in this experimental model.

개구 크기에 따른 테라헤르츠 표면 발광 반도체 레이저의 광손실에 대한 연구 (Estimation of optical losses in dielectric apertured terahertz vertical cavity lasers)

  • 공진기 내에 유전체 개구를 채용하고, $a-So/SiO_2_2$를 브라그 거울로 이용하고, 발진 파장이 38 $\mu\textrm{m}$인 표면 발광 테라헤르츠 레이저의 브라그 거울의 반사율을 계산하여 공진기 내 개구에 의한 회절 손실을 계산하였다. 공진기 내 개구의 크기, 위치, 두께 모두 회절 광 손실에 영향을 주는 것을 알 수 있었다 개구의 크기가 발진 파장의 5배 이상이면 개구의 두께가 회절 손실에 미치는 영향이 미미하나, 개구의 크기가 발진 파장보다 작은 경우에는 개구의 두께가 회절 광 손실에 많은 영향을 주는것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 회절 손실을 줄이고 충분한 반사율을 얻기 위해서는 레이저 개구의 두께가 3nm 경우에 개구의 크기는 적어도 1$\lambda$이상이 되어야 함을 알 수 있었다.

  • 서로 다른 동작온도를 가지는 12개의 감지막으로 구성된 고집적형 센서어레이(다이아프램의 크기가 3×5㎟가 설계되고 열동작의 관점에서 최적화되었다. 이 센서어레이는 에칭된 실리콘기판과 접합된 얇은 유리기판 위의 중앙에 하나의 히터가 위치하고 양쪽에 동작온도가 다른 감지박막이 위치하도록 설계됨으로써 개별 마이크로센서 보다 동시에 훨씬 많은 정보를 얻을 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있다. 제안된 마이크로센서 어레이는 다이아프램의 중앙에 하나의 히터만을 가지는 구조를 하고 있기 때문에 고집적 어레이구조를 실현하면서도, 히터를 중심으로 감지박막의 동작온도에 따라 다양한 감지특정을 얻을 수 있다. 또 히터 양쪽의 감지박막의 종류를 다르게 함으로써 다이아프램위의 전 감지막이 모두 다른 감지특성을 가지게 되어 고집적 센서어레이를 구현하기 용이한 구조로 밝혀졌다.

  • 집적형 광증폭기는 대량생산이 용이하고. 단일 칩에 다기능의 광소자를 집적할 수 있다는 장점 때문에 활히 연구되어져 왔다. 본 연구에서는 수동형 집적광소자의 제작에 사용되는 화염가수분해증착법 (FHD)을 이용하여 실리콘 (Si) /실리카 ($SiO_2$) 광도파막을 제작하고, 이 박막에 Solution Doping 법을 이용하여 $Er^{3+}$ 를 첨가하여 광증폭 매질을 제작하는 연구를 수행하였다.

  • The amorphous vanadium oxide as a cathode material is very preferable for fabricating high performance micro-battery. The amorphous vanadium oxide cathode is preferred over the crystalline form because three times more lithium ions can be inserted into the amorphous cathode, thus making a battery that has a higher capacity. The electrochemical properties of sputtered films are strongly dependent on the oxygen partial pressure in the sputtering gas. The effect of different oxygen partial pressure on the electrochemical properties of vanadium oxide thin films formed by r.f. reactive sputtering deposition were investigated. The stoichiometry of the as-deposited films were investigated by Auger electro spectroscopy. X-ray diffraction and atomic force microscopy measurements were carried out to investigate structural properties and surface morphology, respectively. For high oxygen partial pressure(>30% ), the films were polycrystalline V$_2$O$_{5}$ while an amorphous vanadium oxide was obtained at the lower oxygen partial pressure(< 15%). Half-cell tests were conducted to investigate the electrochemical properties of the vanadium oxide film cathode. The cell capacity was about 60 $\mu$ Ah/$\textrm{cm}^2$ m after 200 cycle when oxygen partial pressure was 20%. These results suggested that the capacity of the thin film battery based on vanadium oxide cathode was strongly depends on crystallinity.y.

  • Toxohorome-L is a lipolytic factor found in ascites fluid of sarcoma 180-bearing mice and of patients with hepatoma. A substance that inhibited the lipolytic action of Toxohormone-L was isoialed from red ginseng powder. This substance had a pectin-like o 1, 4-pollrgalacturonan backbone with some acetoxyl groups, and so was an acidic polysaccharide. It inhibited Toxohormone-L-induced lipolysis in a dose dependent manner at concentrations higher than 10 $\mu\textrm{g}$/ml.

  • 13Cr-1.5Nb-Fe합금분말이 수분사법으로 제조되엇다. 제조된 합금뷴말을 압축기를 이용하여 ring현상으로 성형한후, 진공중에서 소결하였다. as-prepared 분말의 현상, 입도분포, 성분분석 및 포화자화물 조사하였으며, 소결된 시편의 투자율, 교류자기이력손실이 조사되었다. as-prepared 13Cr-1.5Nb-Fe합금분말의 포화자화는 160emu/g이었으며, 산소함유량은 약 600ppm이었다. 입도분포는 약 70$\mu$m에서 50%vol.을 나타낸다. 교류투자율은 소결온도 및 성형온도가 증가할수록 증가한다. 주파수 20KHz에서 교류자기이력손실은 12ton/cm2성령압력 및 120$0^{\circ}C$ 소결온도 조건에서 107W/cc로 가장우수하다.

경원소 적층 분석을 위한 탄성되튐-비행시간 측정시스템 (An ERD-TOF System for the Depth Profiling of Light Elements)

  • An ERD-TOF system is constructed for the nondestructive depth profiling of light elements in thin films in the range of several thousand angstroms. The particles, recoiled by 10 $MeV^{35}Cl$ projectiles, were detected by a Time-Of-Flight spectrometer composed of a MCP (Micro Channel Plate) and a SSB (Silicon Surface Barrier) detector. A two parameter data acquisition system composed of two PC's was constructed for registering simultaneous time and energy signals. A $Si_3N_4$/poly-Si/$SiO_2$/Si sample was anlayzed and the result is compared with RBS. The detection limit, maximum probable depth and depth resolution for light elements in silicon are about $4\times10^{14}atoms/\textrm{cm}^2$, 5, 000$\AA$ and 100$\AA$, respectively.
