  • In this paper, we propose mobile Augmented Reality(AR) for smart learning system which is advanced e-learning. AR is technology that seamlessly overlays computer graphics on the real world. AR has become widely available because of mobile AR. Mobile AR is possible to get information from real world anytime, anywhere. Nowadays, there are various areas using AR such as entertainment, marketing, location-based AR. One of the most promising areas is education. AR in education shows lifelike images to users for realism. It's a good way for improving concentration and attention. We utilize only a camera for image-based AR without other sensor.

  • Dissociation of a highly excited diatomic molecule in the Ar + Ar…$O_2$ and Ar + $O_2$ collisions is studied using trajectory dynamics procedures in the collision energy range of 0.050 to 1.0 eV. Between 0.050 and 0.2 eV, dissociation probabilities are very large for the complexed system compared to the uncomplexed system. This efficient dissociation of $O_2$ in Ar…$O_2$ is attributed to the ready flow of energy from the incident atom to the large-amplitude vibrational motion of the excited O2 via the van der Waals bond. Thermal-averaged dissociation probabilites of $O_2$ in Ar + Ar…$O_2$ near room temperature are nearly two orders of magnitude larger than those of $O_2$ in Ar + $O_2$.

  • In this study, we developed the Field-Experiential Learning Framework Using the Location Based Mobil-learning System (LBMS) and it is mobile Augmented Reality (AR) for smart learning system which is advanced e-learning. AR is technology that seamlessly overlays computer graphics on the real world. LBMS-AR has become widely available because of mobile AR. Mobile AR is possible to get information from real world anytime, anywhere. Nowadays, there are various areas using AR such as entertainment, marketing, location-based AR. We analysed the result of survey and implemented the functions. Also, for survey about application's effectiveness, we have focus group interview (FGI). Then we demonstrated and explained the application to them. The result of survey about application's effectiveness shows that application have higher utilization in education area. One of the most promising areas is education. AR in education shows lifelike images to users for realism. It's a good way for improving concentration and attention. We utilize only a beacone for image-based AR without other sensor.

  • In recent years, augmented reality (AR) technologies have been the subject of great interest among many communities. In education applications, old-fashioned materials (or textbooks) are still used, despite remarkable AR developments in the industrial area. We present an AR system for education. Our system consists of an authoring tool that can be used to create educational content, a viewer that plays that content, and an engine to manage the tool and viewer. In our system, a marker unit recognizes a marker printed on a plane or a cubic plane by adaptively adjusting the threshold to have an excellent recognition rate in diverse environments and acquires corresponding data of the marker. Based on the system, we test 142 elementary school students for increased educational benefits using our system.

  • In this paper, we propose a formula to compute the exact autocorrelations of the autoregressive (AR) process. For an arbitrary value of N, we first review the Yule-Walker equation and some basic properties of the AR model. We then modify the Yule-Walker equation to construct a new system of N+1 linear equations that can be used to solve for the N+1 autocorrelation coefficients for lags 0, 1, …, N, provided that the AR parameters of order N and the power of the white noise of the AR process are given.

  • Augmented Reality (AR) technology has rapidly been applied to various application areas including e-learning and e-education. Focusing on the design and development of android tablet application, this study targeted to develop infant music education using AR technology. We used a tablet instead of personal computer because it is more easily accessible and more convenient. Our system allows infant users to play with teaching aids like blocks or puzzles to mimic musical play like game. The user sets the puzzle piece on the playground in front of the tablet and presses the play button. Then, the system extracts a region of interest among the images acquired by internal camera and separates the foreground image from the background image. The block recognition software analyzes, recognizes and shows the result using AR technology. In order to have reasonably working recognition ratio, we did experiments with more than 5,000 frames of actual playing scenarios. We found that the recognition rate can be secured up to 95%, when the threshold values are selected well using various condition parameters.

  • Detecting and capturing 3D human structures from the intensity-based image sequences is an inherently arguable problem, which attracted attention of several researchers especially in real-time activity recognition (Real-AR). These Real-AR systems have been significantly enhanced by using depth intensity sensors that gives maximum information, in spite of the fact that conventional Real-AR systems are using RGB video sensors. This study proposed a depth-based routine-logging Real-AR system to identify the daily human activity routines and to make these surroundings an intelligent living space. Our real-time routine-logging Real-AR system is categorized into two categories. The data collection with the use of a depth camera, feature extraction based on joint information and training/recognition of each activity. In-addition, the recognition mechanism locates, and pinpoints the learned activities and induces routine-logs. The evaluation applied on the depth datasets (self-annotated and MSRAction3D datasets) demonstrated that proposed system can achieve better recognition rates and robust as compare to state-of-the-art methods. Our Real-AR should be feasibly accessible and permanently used in behavior monitoring applications, humanoid-robot systems and e-medical therapy systems.

They are developing a variety of industries such as entertainment, education, e-commerce and so on. There is also contains the power, energy field. And application related with VR/AR will increase in power industry. Thus, Platform is necessary because there are problems such as re-use, interface with legacy system and security. We can expect the convenience and efficiency by developing VR/AR power platform. In this paper, we will discuss the trends of VR/AR technologies, possibilities of VR/AR in energy field, essential elements of VR/AR power platform. In the future, we expect to lead standards of VR/AR in energy and to develop a killer application such as Pokemon GO.
