Aim & Scope

Animal Cells and Systems is the official journal of the Korean Society for Integrative Biology. This international, peer-reviewed journal publishes original papers that cover diverse aspects of biological sciences including Bioinformatics and Systems Biology, Developmental Biology, Evolution and Systematic Biology, Ecology and Population Biology, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Neurobiology and Physiology, and Translational Medicine. Animal Cells and Systems considers all manuscripts on the strict condition that they have been submitted only to Animal Cells and Systems , that they have not been published already, nor are they under consideration for publication or in press elsewhere. Authors who fail to adhere to this condition will be charged with all costs which Animal Cells and Systems incurs and their papers will not be published. Contributions to Animal Cells and Systems must report original research and will be subjected to review by referees at the discretion of the Editorial Office.

    SCK 腫瘍細胞에 대한 溫熱處理의 細胞致死效果는 in vitro의 경우보다 in vivo의 경우에 顯著하게 컸다. In vivo에서 溫熱處理한 후, 腫瘍을 그대로 放置해두면 腫瘍細胞는 어느 期間동안 계속해서 죽게 되며 腫瘍의 機能的인 血管容積도 마찬가지로 減少한다. In vivo에서 X線을 照射하기 前과 後 30分에 溫熱處理한 腫瘍細胞의 放射線生殘曲線은 溫熱處理하지 않은 對照群의 그것에 比해 기울기가 컸다. 結論的으로 腫瘍細胞에 대한 溫熱處理의 細胞致死效果가 in vitro에 비해서 in vivo의 경우에 크게 되는 것은 腫瘍의 內部環境에 연유하는 것으로 생각된다.

    Gerris paludum의 精子形成 동안의 尖體形成에 대한 연구를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. Golgi體는 精母細胞의 초기단계에서 細胞質에 산재되어 있다가 서로 융합하여 囊 胚形을 하며 이들이 모여서 감수분열 전기에는 몇 개의 큰 Golgi體群을 형성하는데, 이들은 결국 精細胞에 균등히 분포된다. 2. 精子完成에서 acroblast는 처음에 하나의 큰 胞로 나타나다가, 그 내부에서 尖體顆粒이 分化된 후, acroblast는 顆粒에서 分離되어 결국 tail filament를 따라 사라진다. 3. 尖體는 mitochondrial derivatives의 반대편인 核 전면부로 이동한 후, two zones 즉 core와 sheath로 分化된다. 4. Basal bodies와 tip은 모두 sheath에서 由來한다. Basal bodies는 sheath의 基部에서 발생해서 尖體가 伸長되고 좁아짐에 따라 점차로 尖體의 基部를 싸기 시작하여 결국 완전히 둘러싸게 되며, 分化된 tip은 core의 前端部에 인접해서 나타나지만 sheath와 뚜렷이 연결되어 있다. 5. 分化된 tip은 basal bodies보다 앞서서 伸長한다. Basal bodies는 精細胞 후기에 하나의 顆粒으로 융합하지 않고 서로 연결된 wtin-tubes로 나타나며, sperm bundle에서는 basal bodies group을 형성한다.

    著者는 1980年 7月 24日부터 29日까지 巨文島의 古島 (24日, 25日), 西島(26日, 27日, 28日), 東島 (29日)에서 採集한 거미類 2,000餘 個體를 調査, 整理한 結果 未記錄種 2種 (Cyrtarachne nagasakiensis, Menemerus confu년)을 包含한 63種을 얻었다. 이로서 白 (1937), Saito (1941), 및 南宮 (1978)등에 依하여 이미 報告된 것과 합쳐 巨文島의 거미는 都合 21科, 51屬, 67種이 된다.

    著者들은 慶北大學校 範師大學 生物學科 動物分類學室에 所藏된 標本 數個體와 著者의 1人인 서보낭 및 同門 金思悅君이 採集한 標本을 調査한 結果 Tetragnatha屬의 1新種을 얻었기에 報告한다. 本 種은 T. striata L. Koch 및 T. shikokiana Yaginuma와 一見 類似하지만 生殖褶 形態와 內部生殖器의 構造에서 뚜렷이 區別된다. 使用된 標本은 慶北大學校 師範大學 生物學科 動物分類學科室에 所藏되어 있다.

    Deer mice, Peromyscus maniculatus, 의 성체 571마리의 30개 morphometric 형질들을 이용한 cluster analyses에서 두가지의 similarity 행렬식 (Average taxonomic distance와 Correlation coefficient 행렬식)을 이용한 dendrogram이 서로 다르다는 것이 확인되었다. 이들 두가지의 행렬식 중에서 taxarks의 형태적인 유연관계를 나타내는 하나의 dendrogram만을 선택하기 위한 한 객관적방법이 제안되었다. 즉 principal component analysis에 의한 결과를 비교할 표준결과로 이용하는 방법이다.

    著者는 한국산 八放珊瑚類의 계통분류학적 연구를 하기 위하여 1965년부터 1978susRK지 동해의 울릉도 (苧洞, 道洞, 沙洞)와 남해의 尾浦, 海金剛, 鴻島, 황천도, 濟州, 爲美里, 林島, 地歸島, 西歸浦, 鳥島, 門島, 虛島등 15개 지역으로부터 채집된 標本들을 同定分類한 결과 다음과 같은 全軸類에 속하는 3科 7屬 15種을 얻었다. 이들은 모두 韓國 未記錄種이었으며 다음과 같다. Anthoplexaura dimorpha, Euplexaura anastomosans, E. abietina, E. crassa, E. recta, Ellisella maculata, E. rubra, E. limbaughi, Verrucella umbraculum, V. stellata, Primnoa reseda pacifica, Callogorgia pseudoflabellum, Plumarella spinosa, P. rigida 및 P. adharens.

    우리나라 현실을 알기 위해서는 分類學의 歷史的 背景을 살필 필요가 있다. 그 역사를 Darwin 以前과 Darwin 以後로 크게 區分할 수 있다. Darwin 이전의 대표자로서 그리이스의 Aristoteles와 18세기의 Linne를 들 수 있는데 Linne는 種名의 二名法의 확립과 카테고리의 설정으로써 分類學의 發展에 크게 공헌하였고, 그의 哲學的 背景은 Aristoteles의 사상과 통하는 스콜라 哲學이었다. 그의 種의 槪念은 靜的인 것이었고, 그는 少數의 識別形質만을 重要視하였다. Darwin 이후에는 進化思想이 分類學에 절대적인 영향을 주어 학자들은 動物의 系統探求에 熱을 올리게 되었고, 種의 개념은 動的인 경우로 되었다. 또한 Linne 이후에는 動物의 新種記載가 급증하였다. 20세기에 들어와서는 自然系統分類學 生物學的 系統分類學, 數理分類學 (numerical taxonomy, 二次大戰 이후), 生化學的 技術의 도입 등 分類學에 새로운 면이 첨가되면서 種의 개념을 변천하고 種의 定義는 多樣化하였으며, 分類學上의 形質과 系統發生 究明方法이 확장되었다.
