In this study, the long-term performance of polyester woven and nonwoven geotextiles was evaluated through chemical resistance tests and accelerated life analysis. In both polyester woven and nonwoven geotextiles, there was almost no change in the fiber surface before and after immersion in the buffer solution, and the higher the temperature, the greater the strength decrease. Using the constitutive equation of the Arrhenius acceleration model, the strength retention rate by chemical resistance in the pH buffer solution was analyzed, and the long-term performance was evaluated from the change in the strength retention ratio. In the case of the polyester woven geotextile, it could be predicted that the time required for strength retention at 30 ℃ and pH 3 was 62.75471 days. In the case of the polyester nonwoven geotextile, the higher the temperature and pH value, the more difficult it was to measure the tensile strength because of the decomposition of the nonwoven geotextile.
