주니어 마켓 소비자의 의복행동에 대한 성격 유형적 접근 (A Study of Junior - Market Consumer Personality Types and their Effect on Clothing Behaviors)

  • This study classified consumer personality types of the junior market and examined their clothing behaviors. The subjects were composed of 283 male and 276 female high-school-age consumers. Data were collected through questionnaires. Personality types were classified by the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). Data were analysed with the frequency, $X^2$, factor analysis, Cronbach's $\alpha$, ANOVA and Duncan tests using Windows SPSS 12. There was a significant difference (P<0.001) between fashion involvement and the 8 classified personality types. In fashion involvement, the extroverted feeling type was significantly higher than the other types. In brand image orientation, the extroverted thinking type was significantly higher than the other types (P<0.05). In fashion ad-orientation, the extroverted feeing type was also significantly higher than the other types. In active or passive complaining behaviors, there was no difference. In the selection criterion for clothes of color and design and style, the extroverted feeling type was also significantly higher than the other groups (P<0.05).

  • 본 연구에서는 자동차용 Zn-Ni계 합금 전기도금 강판(electro Zn-Ni alloy coated steel sheet, EGN)에서 도금층 중의 Ni함량에 따른 금층의 표면특성이 마찰거 동에 미치는 영향과 윤활유 종류에 따른 Ni 함량별 마찰특성을 파악하여 최적 스탬핑 조건을 도출하는데 기여하고자 한다.

토끼 수정란에서 Green Fluorescent Protein 유전자의 발현 (Expression of Green Fluorescent Protein(GFP) Gene in Rabbit Embryos)

  • The efficiency of transgenic livestock animal production may be improved by early selection of transgenci preimplantation embryos. To examine the possibility of GFP gene as a non-invasive marker for the early screening of transgenic embryo, the GFP gene was microinjected into rabbit zygotes and the later stages of preimplantation embryos were examined for the expression of GFP. The presence of injected DNA was detected by PCR analysis and the expression of GFP was detected by observing green fluorescence in embryos under a fluorescent microscope. Out of 108 GFP gene-injected rabbit zygotes, seventy three(67.6%) were fluorescence-positive. When 11 fluroresecence-positive blastocysts were analyzed for the presence of GFP gene by PCR, 6(54.5%) were positive, and all of the 8 flrouescence-negative blastocysts were also negative by PCR. The results indicate that the screening of transgene in rabbit embryos by PCR analysis and GFP detection could be a promising method for the preselection of transgenic embryos.

  • 연삭숫돌 선택은 공작물제거량, 숫돌의 소모량, 표면정도 및 공작물의 물리적,화학적 특성을 고려하여 설정하는 것을 기본으로 한다. 연삭가공은 구성인자의 상호관계가 복잡하여 이중에서 어느한 요소만을 고려하여 설정하기 어렵고 정량적 기준 또한 정해져있지 않아 현실적으로는 숙련자의 정성적이고 경험적 지식에 따른 주관적 척도에 의존하는 것이 대부분이다. 또한, 연삭숫돌은 작업조건중에서 대량생산을 제외하고는 되도록이면 현장에 구비되어 있는 작업가능한 연삭숫돌 중에서 선택하는 것이 바람직하다. 따라서 본시스템에서는 이와같은 점을 고려하여 최적 연삭숫돌선택을 퍼지이론에 기초한 현장 숙련자의 지식을 활용하므로써 연삭숫돌선택의 효율성을 도모하는 동시에 현장에 연삭숫돌이 구비되지 않은 경우도 고려하여 연삭숫돌설정에 우선순위를 제시하므로써 작업자에 연삭숫돌선택의 유연성을 부여하였다. 또한, 실용성있는 전문가시스템의 구축을 위해 정성적이고 경험적인 지식의 활용을 위한 지식표현으로 설문조사에서 얻은 테이타를 x$^{2}$-분포에 따른 추정신뢰구간을 구해, 이를 토대로한 비대칭 삼각퍼지함수의 결정법을 제시하고, 이를 이용해서 구축한 시스템의 실행결과의 타당성을 비교하고자 한다.

미만성 간질성 폐질환의 개흉 폐 생검 (Open Lung Biopsy for Diffuse Interstitial Lung Disease)

  • Open lung biopsy was performed in thirty patients for the diagnosis and staging evaluation of interstitial lung disease during the period from January 1987 until December 1992. The age of the patients ranged from 14 to 71 years [mean 48 years], and the patients consisted of 14 males and 16 females. Preoperative FEV1`s were from 0.80 liter to 3.88 liters [mean 1.66]. Other non-invasive diagnostic studies such as PCNA, bronchoalveolar lavage, TBLB, and gallium scan were also done in addition to X-ray and high-resolution chest CT. Tweaty-eight were correctly diagnosed and 2 cases were not [diagnostic yield rate 93.3%]. Among the 28 cases,pathologic diagnosis influenced further treatment regimens and prognostic expectations in 23 cases [82.1%]. The diagnostic non-invasive studies other than open lung biopsy yielded a correct diagnosis without staging only in 5 cases. There was no mortality and only one complication, ARDS ; however, the patient recovered after 5 days ventilator support. Open lung biopsy, which is the gold standard for the diagnosis and staging evaluation of interstitial lung disease can be done safely and has value in clinical decision making. Also knowledge of the involvement of the lesion is important for proper selection of the biopsy site.

Evaluation of Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs) Genotyped by the Illumina Bovine SNP50K in Cattle Focusing on Hanwoo Breed

  • In the present study, we evaluated the informativeness of SNPs genotyped by the Illumina Bovine SNP50K assay in different cattle breeds. To investigate these on a genome-wide scale, we considered 52,678 SNPs spanning the whole autosomal and X chromosomes in cattle. Our study samples consists of six different cattle breeds. Across the breeds approximately 72 and 6% SNPs were found polymorphic and fixed or close to fix in all the breeds, respectively. The variations in the average minor allele frequency (MAF) were significantly different between the breeds studied. The level of average MAF observed in Hanwoo was significantly lower than the other breeds. Hanwoo breed also displayed the lowest number of polymorphic SNPs across all the chromosomes. More importantly, this study indicated that the Bovine SNP50K assay will have reduced power for genome-wide association studies in Hanwoo as compared to other cattle breeds. Overall, the Bovine SNP50K assay described in this study offer a useful genotyping platform for mapping quantitative trait loci (QTLs) in the cattle breeds. The assay data represent a vast and generally untapped resource to assist the investigation of the complex production traits and the development of marker-assisted selection programs.

Selection and Target-Site Mapping of Peptides Inhibiting HCV NS5B Polymerase Using Phage Display

  • A series of pep tides binding to the HCV NS5B polymerase was selected from phage display peptide libraries. A conserved motif of Ser-Arg-X-Arg/Leu was identified among the selected peptides, and Pep2 (Trp-Ser-Arg-Pro-Arg-Ser-Leu) was chosen for further characterization. The binding of Pep2 to HCV NS5B in vivo was shown by a yeast two-hybrid assay and by subcellular colocalization analysis using immunofluorescence confocal microscopy. The in vitro interaction was also confirmed by GST pulldown assay. The replication of the HCV 1b subgenomic replicon was efficiently inhibited by the presence of the peptide. By using a subtractive biopanning against Pep2, the binding site of the peptide was mapped at the pocket of Pro388 to Pro391 in the thumb subdomain of the polymerase. A yeast two-hybrid analysis using Pro388Ala and Pro391Ala mutants of NS5B confirmed the binding.

확률맵 기반 유전자 알고리즘에 의한 입술영역 검출 (Lips Detection by Probability Map Based Genetic Algorithm)

  • 본 연구에서는 인물영상에서 입술영역을 검출하기 위한 확률맵 기반 유전자 알고리즘을 제안한다. 하나의 최적해 탐색에 사용되었던 기존 유전자 알고리즘을 수정하여 입술과 같은 영역 검출에 부합하는 다수의 해를 얻도록 적용한다. 이를 위해 공간좌표를 의미하는 염색체로 각 개체를 표현하고, 보존구간, 세대수에 따른 부분 균일교배, 비중복 선택 등의 유전연산 방법을 도입한다. 또한 HSV 칼라공간에서 HS성분에 대한 확률맵을 제안하고, 이를 적용함으로써 유전자 알고리즘의 속성인 유사 색상에 대한 적응성을 더욱 증대한다. 실험을 통하여 제안 알고리즘의 성능을 좌우하는 주요 파라미터를 분석하였으며, 입술이외의 다른ROI(Region Of Interest)의 검출에도 유연하게 적응할 수 있음을 관찰하였다.

Effects of generalized-Born implicit solvent models in NMR structure refinement

  • Rapid advances of computational power and method have made it practical to apply the time-consuming calculations with all-atom force fields and sophisticated potential energies into refining NMR structure. Added to the all-atom force field, generalized-Born implicit solvent model (GBIS) contributes substantially to improving the qualities of the resulting NMR structures. GBIS approximates the effects that explicit solvents bring about even with fairly reduced computational times. Although GBIS is employed in the final stage of NMR structure calculation with experimental restraints, the effects by GBIS on structures have been reported notable. However, the detailed effect is little studied in a quantitative way. In this study, we report GBIS refinements of ubiquitin and GB1 structures by six GBIS models of AMBER package with experimental distance and backbone torsion angle restraints. Of GBIS models tested, the calculations with igb=7 option generated the closest structures to those determined by X-ray both in ubiquitin and GB1 from the viewpoints of root-mean-square deviations. Those with igb=5 yielded the second best results. Our data suggest that the degrees of improvements vary under different GBIS models and the proper selection of GBIS model can lead to better results.

흡수 계수와 흡수 계수 변화 특성에 따른 CdSe 양자 구슬 구조의 균일성 조사 (Homogeneous characteristics of CdSe quantum dots from absorption coefficient and its change)

  • CdSe 양자 구슬 구조의 X선 회절 무늬를 조사하여 그 결정 구조가 육각 결정 구조임을 밝혔고, 선형 흡수 스펙트럼으로부터 양자 구속 효과에 의한 흡수 봉우리들이 나타남을 확인하였다. 에너지가 낮은 에너지 준위보다 높은 에너지 준위에 많은 전자-양공 짝을 만들었을 때, 낮은 에너지 준위에 대한 흡수 봉오리의 흡수 계수 변화가 작게 일어남을 관찰함으로써 띠내 전이의 선택률이 잘 지켜지고 있음을 확인하였다. 이로부터 실험에 사용된 CdSe 양자 구슬 구조가 크기 및 모양의 불규칙성으로 인한 불균일계라기 보다는 균일계로 기술되어짐을 밝혔다.
