Analysis characteristics of officers' watch-keeping for efficient navigation bridge layout of a fisheries training vessel (효율적인 어업실습선의 선교 layout을 위한 당직항해사의 업무특성 분석)

  • This study analyzed characteristics of officers' watch-keeping during fishing operation at the fisheries training ship KAYA (GT: 1,737 tons, Pukyong National University). It observed fishing works of three officers in wheel house of KAYA. The observations were carried out at the fishing ground 45 miles away from east of Jeju from 7 to 8 January 2010. The works and movements of the officers were recorded with three common video cameras and a 4-channel MPEG-4 Triplex DVR. Recorded data of the working circulation was analyzed by using the post-processing method. As a result of the traffic lines, the average (${\pm}S.D$) of working hour (min) and moving frequency (times), distance (m) and speed (m/min) during setting the net was 11.8 (0.9), 43.7 (8.1), 133.9 (35.8) and 10.5 (0.6), respectively. During trawling the net, it was 100, 241 (39.8), 615.7 (194.6) and 5.2 (1.6), respectively. During hauling the net, it was 17.6 (1.4), 41.0 (7.2), 196.9 (37.6) and 10.7 (0.8), respectively. In addition, it has a different tendency of the instrument usage frequency by the fishing works. During setting, the usage priority was CCTV, ECDIS, RPM and pitch controller, net monitor, GPS plotter, chart room, X-band radar, fish finder and public addressor. During trawling, it was CCTV, ECDIS, fish finder, X-band radar, net monitor, chart room, GPS plotter, RPM and pitch controller, auto pilot and steering, interphone, wind speed and direction indicator, No.1. VHF, navigation light control panel and public addressor. During hauling, it was CCTV, RPM and pitch controller, GPS plotter, public addressor, chart room, net monitor, X-band radar, auto pilot and steering and fish finder.

  • There is a definite requirement to continuously monitor the operating characteristics of radiation therapy machines. It is advisable to monitor the symmetry, flatness, and energy stability of x-ray beams. The semiconductor system was developed using commercially available rectifier diode for th assessment of quality assurance In radiation therapy, which is capable of the above measurements. The beam characteristics of 6MV, 10MV and 21MV photon of Microtron electron accelerator were measured using seven-diodes as detectors and the results were compared with that of using a film results dosimetry with a X-Y plotter. The seven-diode detetor is versatile enough to be used for checking beam profile, flatness, symmetry and energy.

  • At present, almost circuits are wired using copper in flexible circuits. But, these circuit have limit to flexibility so it occurs fracture about cyclic bending and, thermal load of bending stress occur a circuit trouble. a study of all-polymer flexible circuits get over that problem. Established fabrication method of all-polymer circuits is photolithograph. This method can not have mass production, so this method wastes time and human effort. In this study, all polymer flexible circuits are fabricated using the inkjet process.

  • In this study, we have developed the stereolithography system that supports the development of a products. This paper presents the development of the stereolithography system. The system is composed of hardware, software and control part. The software converts a STL file to NC data and displays the monitoring figure in control part. The hardware part deals with structure of machine. The most important theme in this paper is LG-SLCAM software. This software can generate NC data and scanning condition data from a STL file semiautimatically. On the basis of three diensional shapes, it makes data for support structure from STL file. The effectiveness of using out stereolithography system is confirmed by processes of good development.

  • This paper is described about applied method of personal computer for clothes-patterns. The personal Computer (Fijitsu FM-$16{\beta}$) and X-Y Plotter (GRAPHTEC GP-9101 R) were used in this study. It is studied to draft of sleeve designs automartically in this paper. The Basic Language is used and the programs were main program and subroutine programs. The results are as follows; 1) The Y's system of sleeve sloper is selected in this study. 2) The co-ordinate points were indicated relative location of all necessary in drafting of sleeve designs. 3) In the variations of sleeve sloper, Puff sleeve and Raglan sleeve were selected. Programs for drafting of them were developed. 4) About the drafting of Raglan curve, it is gotten adequate curve using sprine function. 5) Clothes-Pattern are making very correctly and quickly by using computer.

  • In the present industry, three-dimensional colored shape has required for realistic prototype in rapid manufacturing. Z-corporation developed 3D printer which can color three-dimensional prototype but this process can't be adopted to other rapid prototype products and spend much time and cost coloring 3D shape. In this study a new coloring process on three-dimensional surface is proposed for realistic prototype. Three-dimensional surface coloring apparatus is composed of HP ink jet head and X-Y plotter. Distance and angle between ink jet nozzle and 3D surface are set as process parameter. Based on the experiment of process parameters, it is shown that distance and angle affected on printed image on 3D surface. Circle and line shape are chosen as standard image shape because the shape has widely used as standard in 2D printing. Consequently, the distorted image on 3D surface is corrected by transformed input image data.

  • In this study, a crack closure behavior of Al-alloy 5052-H38 was investigated. The fatigue test was performed by the four-point bending test under the contast amplitude load. Stress ratio R was changed from-1.0 to 0.5. To mcasure the fatigue crack opening point, the graph of load vs. subtracted displacement by computer program was obtained from the X - Y plotter. In order to gain the displacement data, a strain gage was attached at the back surface against the notched side. Uslng the conception of crack closure and influence of on crack growth rate a model for crack growth rate is developed for Al-alloy 5052-H38.

  • Since the linear step motor(LSM) has the merits which can be controlled the position and velocity by using the micro-computer and has no mechanical transducer such as belt and gear, it's usefullness has been fitted for the printer, x-y plotter, OA machinery and so on. In designing the LSM, we are faced up to the calculation of forces. in this paper, the permeance modeling method suited for the design of transverse flux type linear step motor(TFM) is presented and simulated.

  • This paper presents feedback control?method of educational robot made up of step motor by specific Tiny-C at PPI 8255 board of pocketcom(pocket computer; PC-E200). Machine language capacity of Tiny-C compiler(Ver 1.0) is about 22kbyte, and so it is easily transmitted from personal computer to pocketcom of conventional memory 32 kbyte. This experimental results show that Tiny-C control programs are practised on the pocketcom connected to PPI 8255 board for educational robot and X-Y plotter, and these are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

  • LDM, easy to minute position control, is using as X-Y plotter or other recording instruments. Brushless LDM has better properties than the conventional Brush type LDM in many aspects. This paper presents magnetic flux density distribution by FEM and a way to reduce thrust force ripple particurary in low speed drive. And we apply this method to a real mode of LDM. This LDM is operated by IBM-PC host computer and uses rotary encoder to make position signal.
