케어매니저 양성을 위한 교육과정 개발 (Development of a curriculum for Care Manager Education)

  • 고령화 사회에서 급격히 증가하는 노인문제를 해결하기 위한 노인장기요양보험제도는 노인, 가족, 사회 전체에 큰 영향을 미치는 주요한 과제이다. 따라서 노인장기요양보험제도의 실천에 있어 중요한 역할을 수행하게 될 케어인력 양성과 그 중에서도 특히 케어매니저(Care Manager) 양성과 이를 위한 교육과정 개발은 매우 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 이는 케어매니저(care manager)는 노인장기요양보험제도의 전 과정에 개입하여 대상자들에게 적절한 서비스가 제공될 수 있도록 관리하는 중심적인 인력이기 때문이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 먼저 케어매니저 교육대상자를 신규 교육대상자, 기존 경력자로 분류하고, 교육과정을 각각 이론, 실기 및 현장실습으로 세분화하고, 각각의 경우에 합당한 교육 과목 및 시간을 배정하여 교육한 후, 필기시험을 거쳐 인증하는 과정을 밟는 캐어매니저 교육과정을 제시한다.

Reaching Beyond the Science Education Guidelines: Project-Centered Approaches

  • Two project-centered secondary school programs were studied as part of an effort to elucidate successful components for science reform-based curriculum development. The Teachers for Exciting Science (TES), and Foundational Approaches in Science Teaching (FAST) programs in Korea and U.S., respectively, are project-centered programs because their curricula are centered on the activities initiated and engaged in by the students. Students serve as principal investigators in their projects, and teachers serve as guides. Both programs were analyzed based on criteria such as curriculum design, teaching, lives of students, lives of teachers, evaluation of program, from the Third International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS). In the programs, teachers and students directed the development of curricula and their implementation. Students assumed teacher roles as mentors of other students. And emphasis was on development of communication skills through student-delivered talks and written papers, and professional development of teachers as educators and scientists. Participation in TES stimulated secondary school student interest in science, encouraged inquiry thinking, increased achievement in learning science, and promoted better awareness of science related to real life. FAST students practice laboratory and field techniques, experimental design, hypothesis formation, generalization, and practical implications of research as academic and applied disciplinarians. These project-centered programs have been successfully implemented in field, lab, and classroom curricula for secondary science education. Comparison of these programs will provide an opportunity for identifying key elements instrumental in successful implementation of guidelines for science education, as measured through successful outcomes.

5-6학년군 영어교과서의 문화내용 분석연구 : 2009년과 2015년 개정 교육과정의 비교 (A Study on the Analysis of Culture Contents in English Textbook for Grade 5-6 : Comparison of 2009 and 2015 Revised National Curriculum)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 2015 개정 5-6학년군 영어교과서의 문화내용을 분석하고, 2009 개정교육과정에 따른 5-6학년군 영어교과서의 문화내용을 분석한 선행연구로부터의 제언들이 2015 개정 영어교과서에 얼마나 반영되었는지 알아보는 것이다. 또한 분석의 결과를 바탕으로 초등영어 교과서에서 바람직한 문화내용의 제시 방향을 모색하였다. 이를 위하여 2009 및 2015 교육과정에 따른 5-6학년군 영어교과서 각 10종, 총 20종의 교과서를 문화유형, 문화소재, 문화 배경에 따라 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 2015 개정 영어교과서에는 아직 문화 유형별, 소재별, 배경별 불균형이 존재하고 있으며, 2009 개정 영어교과서 분석시 제언되었던 내용들이 충분히 반영되지 않았음을 알 수 있었다. 그러므로 학습자에게 균형 잡힌 문화교육을 제공하기 위해서는 영어교과서에 제시된 문화내용이 유형, 소재, 배경 면에서 보다 다양하고 균형 있게 제시되어야 할 것이다. 또한, 향후 다양한 선행연구에서 문화교육발전을 위해 제언되는 의견들은 영어교과서에 반영되어 더 효과적인 문화교육이 이루어지도록 해야 할 것이다.

L2 Reader's Critical Reading Interpretation

  • This study investigated how EFL readers critically read texts which are written in English. Although critical reading has been discussed in advanced EFL and ESL contexts there has not been much research on the critical reading of beginning EFL learners. Many educators are recommending that a critical perspective be adopted so that L2 learners can become empowered rather than indoctrinated. In this study, the researcher has examined the critical reading practices of five beginning level EFL readers in Korea and five first language readers of English in the United States as they read a news editorial article. The significant findings were discussed related to critical reading practice of L2 readers. The findings of the study can help the educators in English education in improving the curriculum, the teaching methodology and the learning theory for EFL reading for critical reading.

동해 해저지형의 명명 (Naming of Undersea Features in the East Sea)

  • 현재 동해의 해저지형 가운데 한국대지, 쓰시마분지, 순요퇴 3개의 지 명 이 해저지명목록집(Gazetteer)에 등재되어 있다. 이들 지명은 지명등재의 근거가 전혀 기록되어 있지 않으며, 단지 국제해도(INT 511)에 표기되어 있는 명칭이 해저지명목록집에 기록된 것으로 추정된다. 그러나 이 중 쓰시마분지와 순요퇴는 수로학적 지질학적 근거나 지리적인 관련성이 부족하므로 지리적 성인적 측면에서 관계가 깊은 울릉분지와 이사부해산으로 명칭이 대체되어야 한다.

지속가능발전 물 교육 내용체계를 활용한 대학생들의 물 인식 조사 (A Survey for the Water Cognition among College Students through Contents of Water Education for Sustainable Development)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze water words written by college students in order to investigate their cognition by using 'contents of water education for sustainable development'. For this study, researchers applied qualitative analysis methods such as a mind map and a water word association test, as well as quantitative analysis methods including a water common sense quiz and a survey of water cognition. The results of this study were as follows; First, college students were rarely interested in water, since the score of a water common sense quiz was quite low; water cognition that college students felt in their daily life was also deficient. Second, college student data shows that while they had specific water cognition, they did not have integrated view of water. Therefore, the study on water cognition of balanced views related to water should be carried out through developing and appling a interdisciplinary subject.

원용삼방호구(圓容三方互求)의 수학교육적 활용 (Utilizing 'Wonyongsambanghogu' in mathematics education)

  • Based on the importance and the necessity of the study on history of mathematics and mathemtics education using history of mathematics for finding the cultural identity and values of our traditional mathematics, we refer to two types of teaching and learning methods utilizing 'WonYongSamBangHoGu', the second theme of 'SanSulGwanGyeon' written by Lee Sang Hyuk. First, we present various cases of 'WonYongSamBangHoGu' constructed utilizing kind of mathematics learning software, GeoGebra by high school freshmen belonging to the Education Centers for the Gifted in Seoul Science Park. Second, We modernly reinterpret the questions contained in 'WonYongSamBangHoGu' and show several developed items using it.

  • 본 논문에서는 비인가 대안학교인 벨 국제아카데미에서 5차원 전면교육 커리큘럼을 통하여 모든 교과목에 수업을 적용하여 실시하고 있다. 5차원 전면교육과 로봇 교육을 접목하여 로봇동아리에서 학생들에게 5차원적으로 로봇 교육을 통해 대회에서 입상은 물론 동기부여로 인한 대학 진학에 상당한 영향을 주며, 각종 대회수상 실적 등의 우수한 사례를 입증한다.

사이버대학 실기교육을 위한 앱기반 인터페이스 연구 (The app-based interface research for practical education of cyber university)

  • Recently, universities have difficulties in operating the normal curriculum because fresher's basic academic ability is declined. It causes campus misfits so managing students become a rising issue. The education system that focuses only on college entrance exam is one of the reasons why this phenomenon occurred. So, several tries are enacted at university to improve this problem. One of the solutions is enforcing the activity with self-directed Learning Community students to know learning level themselves and execute systematic studying habit is essential for improving this problem. This activity can help students understanding and having interest in class and be motivated to study. But it had burdened tutors with submitting activity report in written form. In this paper, we suggest the Mobile Based Activity Report Submission System which can be the solution of the problem that the Self-directed Learning Community System has. This system reduces the emotional burden to write the reports and manages them efficiently.
