정신질환자 가족기능에 영향을 미치는 요인연구: 발병초기와 만성 정신질환자의 비교 (A study on the factors influence on the family function of persons with mental illness - Comparison of the persons with recent onset and chronic mental illness -)

  • 본 연구는 정신질환자의 가장 기본적인 보호체계인 가족의 기능에 대한 기존연구가 정신질환의 발병 단계(초기, 만성)에 대한 고려 없이 진행된 한계를 극복하고자 발병초기 정신질환자가족과 만성 정신질환자 가족의 가족기능이 차이가 있는지, 각 그룹의 가족기능에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인지에 대해 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 부산지역 정신보건 서비스 이용 정신질환자 628명을 대상으로 분석한 결과 발병초기 정신질환자의 가족기능보다 만성 정신질환자 가족기능이 더 높게 나타났다. 발병초기 정신질환자의 경우 가족기능 괴리감이 가족기능에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 확인되었다. 반면, 만성 정신질환자의 경우 일상생활수행능력, 주보호자의 건강상태, 가족기능 괴리감, 지역사회지지가 가족기능에 영향을 미치는 요인으로확인되어 두 그룹의 영향요인이 다름을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 실천현장에서 고려 할 수 있는 발병초기와 만성 정신질환자의 가족기능을 향상시키기 위한 차별적방법을 제언하였다.

The Experiences of Family Caregiving in a Chronic Care Unit

  • Purpose. The main purpose of this critical ethnography was to examines the process and discourses through which family caregivers experience while caring for their sick family member in a hospital. Methods. This was achieved by conducting in-depth interviews with 12 family caregivers, and by observing their caring activities and daily lives in natural settings. The study field was a unit for neurologic patients. Data was analyzed using taxonomy, discourse analysis, and proxemics. All research work was iteratively processed from March 2003 to December 2004. Results. Constant comparative analysis of the data yielded the process of becoming a successful family caregiver: encountering the differences and chaos as novice; constructing their world of skilled caregivers; and becoming a hospital family as experienced caregivers. During the process of becoming an experienced hospital family, the discourse of family centered idea guided their caring behaviors and daily lives. Conclusion. The paternalistic family caregivers struggled, cooperated, and harmonized with the patriarchal world of professional health care system. During this process of becoming hospital family, professional nurses must act as cultural brokers between the lay family caring system and the professional caring system.

한국 가족문화교육 프로그램의 방향 탐색 (The Searching for the Direction of Korean Family Culture Education Program)

  • As the social change has been occured by industrialization and urbanization, making valuable family culture has come to be a social task. The development of family culture education program is required to create future - oriented family culture. This study aims at searching for the direction of family culture education program in Korea development to sere creating desirable family culture. For this study the concepts of family culture and family culture education were defined and the characteristics and problems of Korean family culture were discussed. Based on these discussion, the direction of family culture educational program was proposed. The directions of Korean family culture education program were suggested promotion communitarian consciousness, balancing between traditional and modern value, creating democratization among generations and genders, eqyipping with constructive communication channel, and encouraging autonomy and creativity. To work out these directions, appropriate and educational model should be mobilized to incilude whole family.

입원 아동의 가족중심돌봄 개념분석 (Family-Centered Care for Hospitalized Children: Concept Analysis)

  • Purpose: This paper is a report on the concept analysis of family-centered care for hospitalized children. Methods: The concept analysis approach of Walker and Avant was used. A search of multidisciplinary literature published between 1960 and 2016 was undertaken using the keyword 'family centered care' or 'family centered nursing' combined with hospitalized children. Attributes, antecedents, and consequences were inductively derived from the citations analyzed (n=19). Results: The attributes of family-centered care included (1) family respect, (2) collaboration, (3) family support, and (4) information sharing. These attributes are influenced by the 'willingness of family to participate', 'competency and willingness of staff,' and 'institution policy and system.' Additionally, family-centered care does significantly impact 'the health of the children', 'family empowerment' and 'work satisfaction and self-confidence of staff'. Conclusion: Family-centered care of hospitalized children as defined by the result of this study will contribute to the theoretical foundation for application in pediatric nursing practice.

회복탄력성 증진을 위한 '가족 이야기' 프로그램 개발의 기초 연구: 회복탄력성의 7개 하위영역에 대한 분석을 바탕으로 (A Study on Program Development of 'Family Narrative' Program to Enhance Resilience - Based on the Analysis of 7 Domains of Resilience -)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 회복탄력성 증진을 위한 '가족 이야기' 집단 프로그램에서 중요하게 다루어야 할 내용의 우선순위를 조사하고, 회복탄력성의 7개 하위영역별로 유의미한 영향을 미치는대학생들의 개인적 특성 및 가족 이야기 관련 특성을 파악하여, 대학생들의 회복탄력성 향상을 위한 프로그램 방안을 제시하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 회복탄력성의 7개 하위영역별로 대학생들의 수준을 '높음' 집단과 '낮음' 집단으로 나눠 로지스틱 분석을 시행하였으며, 회복탄력성의 각 하위영역별로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 대학생의 개인적 특성 및 가족 이야기 관련 특성을 조사하였다. 연구결과, 사회복지 대학생들이 프로그램의 우선순위로서 선택한 내용은 (1) 우리 가족의 주요 가족사건 이해하고 의미 찾기; (2) 우리 가족의 위기극복 방법 알고 의미 찾기; 그리고 (3) 우리 가족의 성취와 관련된 이야기를 알고 그 의미 찾기 등이었으며, 이러한 내용을 바탕으로 회복탄력성을 향상시키기 위한 프로그램 방안을 제안하였다.

콜센터 상담사의 감정노동이 직무소진, 조직시민행동 및 직장-가정갈등에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Emotional Labor on Job Burnout, Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Work-Family Conflict Among Call Center Employees)

  • The purpose of this study was to observe work-related emotional consequences in call center employees. The data were collected from 434 employees in 3 call centers by way of a self-administered questionnaire. Frequencies, Cronbach's alpha, T-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression analyses were conducted by SPSS Win 18.0. The results of this study were as follows: first, job burnout proved to be significant, and demonstrated a positively correlation to surface acting and negatively correlation to deep acting. Second, altruism proved to be significant and demonstrated a positive correlation to deep acting, while also demonstrating a negatively correlation to both sex and surface acting. Third, conscientiousness proved to be significant and demonstrated a positive correlation to both age and deep acting, as well as a negatively correlation to surface acting. Finally, work-family conflict proved to be significant and demonstrated a positive correlation to both sex and workload in terms of hours per day.

가족자원봉사경험과 가족의 건강성에 관한 연구 (Family Volunteering and the Family Health)

  • 우리 사회에서 여러 사회문제의 예방차원에서 가족생활을 증진시키고, 사회복지의 중요한 자원인 자원봉사를 활성화시킬 수 있는 새로운 대안으로서 가족자원봉사에 대한 관심이 커지고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 가족자원봉사의 효과를 실증적으로 검증하기 위하여 정태적 집단비교설계방법으로 전국에서 가족자원봉사 프로그램에 6개월 이상 정기적으로 참여한 가족을 대상으로 가족 건강성을 조사하고 통제집단과 비교 분석하였다. 연구결과는 가족자원봉사 경험을 가진 실험집단(494명)이 통제집단(534명)보다 가족 건강성의 모든 영역(가족의 결속력, 가족원간의 의사소통, 가족의 문제해결능력, 가치체계 공유, 역할 유연성)에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 또한 통제집단 중 가족이 정기적으로 함께 하는 활동이 있는 경우에도, 가족자원봉사 경험이 있는 가족과 비교하여 가족 건강성이 낮았다. 따라서 가족자원봉사경험이 여타 다른 가족활동보다 가족 건강성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 가족자원봉사를 활성화하기 위한 방안으로 가족단위의 자원봉사에 맞는 프로그램의 개발, 융통성있는 가족자원봉사 개념규정, 가족자원봉사를 실시하고 있는 다양한 기관사이의 연계, 가족자원봉사의 시간 활용을 위한 탄력적인 근무제도 도입 등 가족자원봉사의 장애요소의 해결들이 제시되었다.

Why Can't We Have Both? A Discussion on Work-Life Balance and Women Career Advancement in Malaysia

  • While the number of women labor force in Malaysia is increasing, only a few of them make it to the top. For many reasons, some women turn down top position offer and some of them refuse to stay working. Commitment to the family, work-life conflict and lack of support from the family and the colleagues are among issues that caused women to have less interest to pursue career advancement. This article examines the role of work-life balance and its relationship to women career advancement, and why both are important in Malaysia. The arguments are arranged based on a review of the previous literature to conceptualize the relationship between work-life balance and career advancement. It is found that both work-life balance and women career advancement are important to retain women in the working world as well as to motivate them to pursue promotion to a higher position. Even though some researchers agreed that the relationship between work-life balance and career advancement is mostly negative, others found positive relationship between both constructs. At the end of the paper, some suggestions on how to improve work-life balance and career advancement are presented as well as suggestion for future research.

제조업 여성근로자의 근골격계 증상에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Influencing Factors on Work-related Musculoskeletal Disorders of Women Workers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study are to identify the influencing factors on work-related musculoskeletal disorders of women workers. Method: Data were collected by questionnaires from 616 women workers from in such industries as electronics, food product, garment product and analyzed using descriptive statistics, multiple logistic regression. Result: As its result, 71.3% of female manufacturing workers had musculoskeletal symptom. When Multiple logistic regression analysis on factors relating to musculoskeletal symptoms was carried out, age, work posture, job demand, type of industry, working hour, type of work, family support were statistically significant variables. Conclusion: In conclusion, this study identifies that age, work posture, job demand, type of industry, working hour, type of work, family support are important factors affecting WMSDs.
