기혼직장인의 가족친화적 조직문화가 가족건강성에 미치는 영향: 일과 삶의 균형의 매개효과를 중심으로 (Effects of Married Employees' Family-Friendly Culture on Family Strength: A Focus on the Mediating Effect of Work-Life Balance)

  • 본 연구는 기혼직장인의 가족친화적 조직문화가 가족건강성과 어떤 관계가 있는지 탐색하고, 그 관계에서 일과 삶의 균형의 매개효과를 분석하고자 하였다. 조사대상자는 20-60대 기혼직장인 213명 이었다. 통계분석은 SPSS 18.0을 사용하여 기술통계, 차이검증, 회귀분석과 매개효과는 Baron & Kenny(1986)의 분석방법을 사용하였다. 분석방법에 따른 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기혼직장인의 일반적특성과 가족건강성과의 차이를 분석하였다. 일반적 특성 중 연령대가 60대, 40~50대, 20~30대 순으로, 교육수준이 고졸이하보다 대졸과 대학원졸 이상인 경우, 조력자가 없는 경우보다 있는 경우, 가구소득이 400만원 이하보다 601만원 이상인 경우, 직급이 실무자보다 중간관리 이상인 경우 가족건강성이 더 높았다. 둘째, 가족건강성에 영향을 미치는 요인을 알아보기 위해 위계적회귀분석을 실시한 결과 연령이 낮을수록, 가족친화적 조직문화와 일과 삶의 균형 수준이 높을수록 기혼직장인들의 가족건강성 수준이 높았다. 셋째, Baron & Kenny(1986)의 매개효과 분석결과 가족친화적 조직문화와 가족건강성과의 관계에서 일과 삶의 균형은 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 기혼직장인의 가족건강성 향상을 위한 대안으로 가족친화적 조직문화와 일과 삶의 균형이 중요한 요인임을 검증하였다.

  • This study aims to analyze the elements to enhance and activate the quality of life by establishment of family-friendly environment through face-to-face interviews in family-friendly certified firms in UIsan. As a result, its activation is possible when each party of companies- employees-government tries to change, and its main elements and outcomes are as follows. First, 'management philosophy of the company representative' showed to directly affect development of flat organization culture and system activation, with respect to the companies. Second for employees, 'value changes to prioritize work-life balance' demonstrated to affect the utilizations and establishment of family-friendly systems within the organization as the critical element. Lastly, it is considered for government to be able to activate this if 'delivery system with professionality' is secured to help 'legalization of policy,' company productivity, and work-life balance of employees. On the other hand, further studies on the elements to be able to activate family-friendly certifications and analysis on its justification are required by expanding the number of companied in Ulsan.

일-가정 균형을 위한 보육 및 학교 영역에서의 요구도와 정책: 맞벌이 가정을 중심으로 (The Study on the Need and Related Policy for Work-Family Balance in the Area of Educare and School: Focused on the Dual Worker Families)

  • The purposes of this study were to analyze the needs for the balance of work-family and to provide the related policies for dual worker family. We focused on the life area of educare and school. Data were collected from 197 working mothers who have 1 or more children under age 10. The findings were: 1) after-school programs, holidays on every alternate Saturday, arbitrary no school days were not appropriate to the working parents' everyday life patterns, so the paradigm and practical conditions should be adapted to the needs of working parents. 2) the most working parents depended on the kindergarden, but the parents' satisfaction with the quality of service, time duration, the human resource of educare teacher was not sufficient, so these issues should be discussed more profoundly.

Family Attitudes and Gender Role Divisions of Married Women in Contemporary Vietnam and Korea

  • This study attempts to examine family attitudes and gender role divisions of married women in contemporary Vietnam and Korea. Drawing data from the 2003 Vietnam Family Study and the 2005 Korean Marriage and Fertility Study, this study investigated 1) attitudes of married women toward marriage, cohabitation, divorce, and having children, 2) decision making on household expenditures, and 3) household work division between husband and wife. The results showed that married Korean women were less inclined toward traditional family attitudes regarding marriage and children than married Vietnamese women. Decision on routine household expenditures was made and household work was done mostly by the wife in the two countries. In comparison, married Vietnamese men took more responsibilities for important financial decisions and child education than married Korean men. These overall findings imply that patriarchical family and gender role norms were preserved to larger extent in contemporary Vietnam than in Korea.

A Study on the Work-Family Relationship of Married Women in the Digital Age : Focusing on the avoidance of childbirth

  • This study examined the work - family relationship of married women in the digital age centered on avoidance of childbirth. Married women 's age, education level, family members living together, work - family affects the avoidance of childbirth. Also, it is analyzed that similar childbirth avoidance phenomenon occurs in the result of the number of future children. Based on the results of the research, it can be suggested that the support of the family living together, the stable employment of married women, and the family-friendly incentive system will have a positive effect on childbirth.

맞벌이 부부의 일가족 경험과 정신건강: 자기효과와 상대방효과 (Work-family experiences and mental health of dual-earner couples: Actor effects and partner effects)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the actor and partner effects of the relationships among dual-earner couple's work-family experiences and mental health using APIM (Actor and Partner Interdependence Model). Method: Using the 7~8th (2015) wave of PSKC (Panel Study on Korean Children), the study included 606 couples raising children who are in the first grade of elementary school. Results: The result 1 shows relationships between work-parenting gains and depression/life-satisfaction (Model 1 & Model 2). In Model 1, wives' level of work-parenting gains was not associated with depression of their own nor of their spouse. However, husbands' level of work-parenting gains was associated with their spouses' as well as depression of their own. In Model 2, wives' level of work-parenting gains was associated with life-satisfaction of their own but it was not associated with life-satisfaction of their spouse. However, husbands' level of work-parenting gains was associated with their spouses' as well as life-satisfaction of their own. The result 2 shows relationships between work-parenting strains and depression/life-satisfaction (Model 3 & Model 4). In Model 3, wives' level of work-parenting strains was associated with their spouses' as well as depression of their own. In addition, husbands' level of work-parenting strains was associated with their spouses' as well as depression of their own. In Model 4, wives' level of work-parenting strains was associated with life-satisfaction of their own but it was not associated with life-satisfaction of their spouse. However, husbands' level of work-parenting strains was associated with their spouses' as well as life-satisfaction of their own. Conclusions: These findings extend our understanding of the relationships between work-family experiences and mental health using dyadic data.

성인의 가족공유시간 유형과 유형별 특성 (A Typology of Family Shared Time of Korean Adults)

  • Studies on time-use have generally concentrated on the amount of time used by each member of a household in Korea. The quality of family relationships could be associated with the amount and types of interactions between family members. This study examined the time that adults spend with their family members on various activities. The purpose of this study is to explore a typology of family time and investigate the characteristics of each type. The data source was the 2009 Time-Use Survey conducted by the Korean National Statistics Office. The people involved in each activity were surveyed for the first time in the 2009 survey in Korea. The data from this study included 10,902 diaries that were filled on weekdays by married adults from ages 20 to 59 years. Data from rural households were excluded. Time use was divided into three categories: family meals, household work and family leisure time. These activities were analyzed using t-test, chi-square analysis and cluster analysis. Family time was classified into four types based on three categories. The four types were named "leisure sharing", "household work sharing", "overall sharing" and "non-sharing". The most common type was non-sharing. The characteristics of each type depended on gender and paid work time. Based on these results, family and labor policies should be developed to increase the work-life balance. Policies that focus on men over 40 years are especially recommended.

기혼 간호사의 직장-가정 갈등, 사회적 지지, 직무만족도 및 조직몰입간의 관계 (The Relationships of Work-Family Conflict, Social Support, Job Satisfaction, and Organizational Commitment in Korean Married Hospital Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between work-family conflict, social support, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment which are closely linked to staff turnover from the perspective of married hospital nurses. Method: A survey was conducted using self-report structured questionnaire from 220 married nurses. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation and multiple linear regression with SPSS Win 17.0 program. Results: Job satisfaction, social support, work-family conflict and age were strong predictors of organizational commitment. These variables explained 46.5% of the variance of the organizational commitment. Higher levels of organizational commitment were associated with greater job satisfaction and social support. Nurse with lower levels of work-family conflict and older age reported a high level of organizational commitment. Conclusion: These results show that improving job satisfaction has the best effect on enhancing nurses' organizational commitment. Also supportive relationships, reduction of work-family conflict and older age were significantly correlated with organizational commitment. Organizations should design more family-friendly policies and provide opportunities for career development to health professionals to induce organizational commitment.

문화사업 담당 건강가정사 양성 및 보수교육을 위한 직무와 역량 분석 (An Analysis of the Job and Competency of Healthy Family Supporter for Culture Work)

  • 본 연구는 건강가정 문화사업 담당 건강가정사의 주요 직무를 분석하고 핵심역량과 역량개발영역을 파악하고자 일정 경력 이상의 대상자를 조사한 것이다. 그 결과 문화사업 담당 건강가정사가 인지하는 주요직무 1순위는 프로그램 기획과 가족자원봉사 프로그램 기획으로 거론되었으며, 핵심역량은 의식주 생활문화와 여가문화의 이해, 대인관계 및 사회성 향상 기술, 창의적이고 독창적인 사고능력, 전문가다운 문제해결 태도로 나타났다. 개발하여야 하는 역량 영역으로는 프로그램 기획과 평가, 보고서 및 평가서 등의 서류 작성 기술, 창의적이고 독창적인 사고능력, 전문가다운 문제해결 능력인 것으로 나타나 현장에 투입되어야 하는 관련 분야 종사자들의 필수 이수교과목들과 종사자 보수교육 주제에 시사점을 제공하고 있다.

일-가정양립지원정책이 아동양육 취업여성의 근로지속의사에 미치는 영향 : 미취학아동양육 취업여성과 취학아동양육 취업여성 집단비교 (The Effect of Work-Family Reconciliation Policy on Intention to Keep Working of Working Mother with Children)

  • This study investigates the influence of policy-related factors on the intention to keep working among mothers with children under 12 years old, especially focusing on the differences between the mothers with preschool children and elementary school children. The study also considers the individual, family, job characteristics of mothers with children, in order to draw the specific impact of policy factors. Data was collected through e-mails from 500 working mothers living in urban area, and 489 interview data were finally utilized in analyses. The results of analyses show that the level of awareness on work-family balancing policy significantly influences on the intention to keep working among mothers with preschool children. On the contrary, there is no statistically significant policy-related factors influencing on the intention to keep working among mothers with elementary school children. Both studies and social polices excessively focused on the mothers with preschool children in terms of work-family balancing issues. Working mothers with elementary school children have not been spot-lighted as beneficiaries from social policy, even though elementary school children also should be cared by others after school. Effective social services assisting work-family balance among mothers with preschool children should be more developed.
