In this work, the problem of resonance caused by some gravitational potentials due to Mercury and a third body, namely the Sun, together with some non-gravitational perturbations, specifically coronal mass ejections and solar wind in addition to radiation pressure, are investigated. Some simplifying assumptions without loss of accuracy are employed. The considered force model is constructed. Then the Delaunay canonical set is introduced. The Hamiltonian of the problem is obtained then it is expressed in terms of the Deluanay canonical set. The Hamiltonian is re-ordered to adopt it to the perturbation technique used to solve the problem. The Lie transform method is surveyed. The Hamiltonian is doubly averaged. The resonance capture is investigated. Finally, some numerical simulations are illustrated and are analyzed. Many resonant inclinations are revealed.

The Cartan's second curvature tensor Pⁱ_jkh is a positively homogeneous of degree-1 in yⁱ, where yⁱ represent a directional coordinate for the line element in Finsler space. In this paper, we discuss the decomposition of Cartan's second curvature tensor Pⁱ_jkh in two spaces, a generalized 𝔅P-recurrent space and generalized 𝔅P-birecurrent space. We obtain different tensors which satisfy the recurrence and birecurrence property under the decomposition. Also, we prove the decomposition for different tensors are non-vanishing. As an illustration of the applicability of the obtained results, we finish this work with some illustrative examples.

The purpose of this study is to examine the space usage behaviors of dwelling by using field study method and by interviewing residents of apartment houses in rural areas. It has been found that the main occupancy space among the residents of apartment houses in rural area is based on agricultural activities. This study will show that apartment houses in rural areas must, as a necessity, reflect the characteristics and needs of its rural environment. It is certain that the existing "unit plan" is not a suitable method. Residents of rural areas have been able to adjust themselves to their current dwelling space properly. This is, mainly, due to economic factors. The interior space is used for simple everyday activities like loading, deposit and drying things. "Nongmak" is a space used for agricultural work and the balcony is used for storage of various things. In conclusion, this study strongly suggested that secure storage space based on the farmhouse model and rural lifestyle should be necessary. Furthermore, special designed cubic shelves should be placed in utility rooms and balconys. And the design and function of apartment houses in rural areas must reflect the needs of its residents.

Some problems facing the cities in modern times begin to be highlighted due to the development into the information-oriented society via the stage of industralization. The structures built centering on the second industries have become superannuated to degenerate as horrid objects while losing their purposefulness with the emergence of the information age. In designing a hotel space where people stay temporarily unlike the housing space for a permanent stay, housing designers are making efforts to work on space design that could be more imprinted in the mind of the users. As the fruit of their sheer labor, the space design in modern hotel design comes to direct a diversity of atmospheres by virtue of various art genres which try to apply it to a space by borrowing it and changing its appearance. Thus, this study aims to look into how the gradually evolving conversion design hotel come to be recreated as an urban regeneration space while retaining the value of the space used in the past, and to analyze & systematize its subsequent design patterns applied to conversion design hotel space with focus on the recent cases.

The Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI) and the Department of Astronomy at the University of Texas at Austin (UT) are developing a near infrared wide-band high resolution spectrograph, IGRINS (Immersion Grating Infrared Spectrograph). The white-pupil design of the instrument optics uses 7 cryogenic mirrors including 3 aspherical off-axis collimators and 4 flat fold mirrors. Two of the 3 collimators are H- and K-band pupil transfer mirrors and they are designed as compensators for the system alignment in each channel. Therefore, their mount design will be one of the most sensitive parts in the IGRINS optomechanical system. The design work will include the computer-aided 3D modeling and finite element analysis (FEA) to optimize the structural stability of the mount models. The mount body will also include a tip-tilt and translation adjustment mechanism to be used as the alignment compensators.

This study is including the independent project, "building children's library of the town" that is conducted by a local resident. The study object is the contents of the "design workshop for library planning" and the general process during one year since the opening. This study is delivering "information of children's library" through the work-shop and is conducting the role of a professional space planner by measuring the blueprint. Thus, the study could be conducted with synthetic viewpoint on each library. The followings are the results from the study. First, there were various space operations and a variety of programs in the case library that is independently managed. This is directing to "the constructive and active space usage" by the users and finally results in positive circulation. Secondly, there is a change through the process of execution and operation in the library construction plan. There are needs for the flexible space expansion and adjustment, modifiable furniture layout and design and various keeping areas because there is on-going tendency of corresponding space change. The third, the author could draw more practicable consideration points for space planning by looking at the trend of space change in Transactionist viewpoint. Thus, this study is very meaningful in terms of planning of sustainable public areas.

A near infrared wide-band high resolution spectrograph, immersion grating infrared spectrometer (IGRINS) has been jointly developed by the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute and the University of Texas at Austin. The compact white-pupil design of the instrument optics includes five cryogenic flat mirrors including a slit mirror, an input fold mirror, a dichroic mirror, and H&K camera fold mirrors. In this study, we introduce the optomechanical mount designs of the five cryogenic mirrors. In order to meet the structural stability and thermal requirements of the mount models, we conducted the design work with the aid of 3-dimensional computer modeling and the finite element analysis (FEA) method. We also present the actual fabricated parts and assemblies of the mounts and mirrors as well as their CAD models.

The purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics of space design of Isamu Noguchi's works barred on the stage sets and environmental designs. From the end of 19th century, space which was begun to be studied about in architects has continued to be researched by not only scientists but artists. Recently, space Is expressed in free and new forms due to diversity of societies and advancement of technology, As a result, space has become an essential part in art and is used in the titles of many art exhibitions. This study scrutinizes space in Isamu Noguchi's works. No other 20th century artist has as clear and progressive space conception as Noguchi's. His notion of modern art was modified through space in the tradition of cubism and Russian Constructivism and Bauhaus. Combined with his experience in the traditional Japanese houses and gardens, these influences led toward a broadened conception of sculpture as the creation of living space. These modernist's characteristics are found in his early expression of stage sets for choreographer Martha Graham, and they would lead to a wide range of design activities, from gardens and interiors to fountains and furniture. Isamu Noguchi had created a body of work that crossed the boundary between fine and applied art as a sculptor, and as an environmental designer.

The art museum plays a role as a cultural space that can solve the cultural desire of people and see a good art works. It is in exhibition space that they personally exchange the feeling between an art work and a viewer in art museum. The types and works - a fiber, a photo, an establishment that needs many places, devices, a video art, and an action art called "performance", cultural art - are shown in small art museum. Moreover, exhibition spaces are modified into the space of another art activities like dancing, music concerts in small art museum because it has no profit space for diverse art activities. And the exhibition the characters of the exhibition space in small art museum. So, it needs to change the characters of the exhibition space in small art museum. Under these background, this stud\ulcorner surveys and analyzes the exhibits, the organization methods, the modified conditions, and the scale of the existing exhibitional space in small art museum. Therefore, the goal of this study is to suggest the composition of the exhibition space unit considering the function and the multifunction in minimum art museum and small art museum.

When we put a construction on the space organization form of Seyeon-jong garden through a consequence of drawing analysis, we were able to certify that a certain space construction principle was applied as following. First, the arrangement and organization of space construction element embodied systematic order y clearing the character of space, and heightening the degree of cognizance with the means of functionability, scale, height, decorationability, an inclination of artificiality and nature, systemetic approchability. Second, the space construction element of Seyeon-jong garden pursued a harmony of human work and nature for creating a various atmosphere and visual quality. Third, Seyeon-jong garden constructed the space by establishing the measurement of human scale that introduced a conception of near, middle, distant view on the visual angle. Forth, Yun go san introduced the natural shape of 'The song of five friends' as a construction element, and represented the symbolism that he had seeked for throught he arrangement method, christening, composing technique of the space construction element for expressing ideal space which is described in 'The four season song of fishermen' spatially at Seyeon-jong garden. As the results of this study, that Yun go san created his own ideal space that he longed for at Seyeon-jong garden with applying fixed design system, and he realized his will that he strived to form a complete whole in perfect harmony.
