  • This paper describes a new surface finishing process which uses magnetic abrasive polishing. This is applied to automatic finishing of die & mold surface. Nowadays, most of die & mold meanufaturing procedures have been automated by the introduction of NC machine tool and CAD/CAM system. But the surface finishing of die & mold must be done by hand work of well-skilled workers. Though many attempts were tried in the past 15 years to eliminate this hand work, the automatic finishing of die & mold surface with 3D curvature has not been achieved yet. New magnetic abrasive finishing process is thought as one of the possible methods for the automation of 3D surface finishing. In order to improve the grindability of the method, ultra-high speed and 5-axis machining was introduce. The magnetic abrasive polishing which has adopted these methods was confirmend to improve the efficiencyof die & mold surface finishing.

  • Cylindrical Cam Mechanism is widely used in the fields of industries, such as machine tool exchangers, textile machinery. This paper proposes a method for manufacturing of cylindrical cam in Multi CNC machining center. Multi CNC machining center has two different types depending on the tilting axis. For the manufacturing procedures. in this paper the location and the orientation of cutter path are defined from shape design data of cam. The integral NC code fur the both types of multi-axis CNC machining center can be created using the coordinates mapping between design coordinates and work coordinates. Finally, CAD/CAM program is developed on $C^{++}$ language. This program can display manufacturing and kinematics simulation, which can make integral NC code for multi-axis CNC machining center of two types.

  • A hot-issued research topic in the workflow intelligence arena is the emerging topic of "workflow-supported organizational social networks." These specialized social networks have been proposed to primarily represent the process-driven work-sharing and work-collaborating relationships among the workflow-performers fulfilling a series of workflow-related operations in a workflow-supported organization. We can discover those organizational social networks, and visualize its analysis results as organizational knowledge. In this paper, we are particularly interested in how to visualize the degrees of closeness centralities among workflow-performers by proposing a graphical representation schema based on the Graph Markup Language, which is named to ccWSSN-GraphML. Additionally, we expatiate on the functional expansion of the closeness centralization formulas so as for the visualization framework to handle a group of workflow procedures (or a workflow package) with organizational workflow-performers.

  • A receding horizon $H_{\infty}$ predictive control method is derived by solving a min-max problem in non-recursive forms. The min-max cost index is converted to a quadratic form which for systems with input saturation can be minimized using QP. Through the use of closed-loop prediction the prediction of states the use of closed-loop prediction the prediction of states in the presence of disturbances are made non-conservative and it become possible to get a tighter $H_{\infty}$ norm bound. Stability conditions and $H_{\infty}$ norm bounds on disturbance rejection are obtained in infinite horizon sence. Polyhedral types of feasible sets for sets and disturbances are adopted to deal with the input constraints. The weight selection procedures are given in terms of LMIs and the algorithm is formulated so that it can be solved via QP. This work is a modified version of an earlier work which was based on ellipsoidal type feasible sets[15].

  • The separate order for the electrical work is an institutional plan to improve the electrical construction quality and strengthen the competitiveness of the electrical contractors. The systematic approach for the policy implementation of the separate ordering system can make its adaptability higher and lead to a policy success. There are many kinds of effects on the implementation of the separate order, but institutional foundation is needed for increasing the policy adaptability. The necessity of the systematic and theoretical foundation was detected in various factors by considering policy implementation theory. In order to fix the separate ordering system, reasonable methods such as finding inducements and offering incentive are more effective than legal procedures. At last, a variety of policy adaptability plans must be founded in order to invigorate the separate ordering system in a view of the policy implementation.

  • Background: Safety management is required to ensure health and safety of personnel in Norwegian fish farming. However, few studies have addressed the status and practical relevance of this risk-reducing measure. Methods: This article provides new knowledge through interviews with 35 employees at different company levels, addressing perceptions of various safety management activities according to managers and operational personnel. Results: The interviews show that managers and operational personnel at fish farms agree that the quantity of measures aimed to improve safety has increased in recent years. However, some activities are perceived to have higher practical relevance than others. In general, measures that fit well with the practical reality are well received by the employees at the fish farms. Conclusion: Suggested improvements include involving operational personnel in the design of procedures, considering all risk dimensions that may affect occupational health and safety, and challenging the value of specific safety activities based on a detailed knowledge of the distinctive characteristics of work practice in fish farming.

  • With the development of technology, the procedures for making systems are altered. Jobs that were initially difficult with technology have become easier. Likewise with work as a developer. In this era, it takes work that can be done quickly, precisely, and accurately. Inspired by the Copernicus' theory that the sun is the center of the solar system, this research aims to create a plugin that is integrated with the Unity game engine so that it can create dungeons quickly and dynamically using the orbital dungeon generation method. In general, games that have several dungeons are role playing games genre with the roguelike subgenre, where games of this type are widely adopted by well-known games. This method is expected to be employed by developers, especially game developers, to simplify and speed up the creation of games using dungeons, because the complexity of the system that is made can be adjusted according to needs.

  • Rhinoplasty is one of the first surgical procedures described with evidence in the history of medicine. At first, these were performed for the reconstruction of traumatic defects caused by punishments, sequels of war, and then it had been reused after suffering from diseases such as syphilis. Many techniques have been developed from the need of aesthetics outcomes in this field. The objective of our work is to describe a modified approach of recycled dorsum preservation procedure that we have proposed as a safe and reliable technique. In this work, we have showed that this technique has a marked advantage of preserving the natural tissue with satisfactory postoperative result. We had no functional complications up to date. We recommend that every specialist in the field of rhinoplasty should be able to use it as a reproducible and feasible alternative.

  • Objectives: As quality of work-life (QWL) among nurses affects both patient care and institutional standards, assessment regarding QWL for the profession is important. Work-related Quality of Life Scale (WRQOLS) is a reliable QWL assessment tool for the nursing profession. To develop a Chinese version of the WRQOLS-2 and to examine its psychometric properties as an instrument to assess QWL for the nursing profession in China. Methods: Forward and back translating procedures were used to develop the Chinese version of WRQOLS-2. Six nursing experts participated in content validity evaluation and 352 registered nurses (RNs) participated in the tests. After a two-week interval, 70 of the RNs were retested. Structural validity was examined by principal components analysis and the Cronbach's alphas calculated. The respective independent sample t-test and intra-class correlation coefficient were used to analyze known-group validity and test-retest reliability. Results: One item was rephrased for adaptation to Chinese organizational cultures. The content validity index of the scale was 0.98. Principal components analysis resulted in a seven-factor model, accounting for 62% of total variance, with Cronbach's alphas for subscales ranging from 0.71 to 0.88. Known-group validity was established in the assessment results of the participants in permanent employment vs. contract employment (t = 2.895, p < 0.01). Good test-retest reliability was observed (r = 0.88, p < 0.01). Conclusion: The translated Chinese version of the WRQOLS-2 has sufficient validity and reliability so that it can be used to evaluate the QWL among nurses in mainland China.
