창업교육이 대학생의 진로에 미치는 효과성 연구 (The Effect of Entrepreneurship Education on the Career Path of University Students)

  • 대학의 사명은 차세대 국가를 책임질 청년들을 성숙한 사회인으로 성장시키기는데 목적을 가지고 있다. 특히 4차산업혁명시대 대학의 역할은 창의적 인재를 육성하는 것이다. 그럼으로 기존의 주입식교육과 취업중심의 대학 교육 콘텐츠와 교육 방법론에 혁신적인 변화가 요구된다. 높은 청년 실업률 속에서 기존 조직을 혁신하고, 새로운 일자리를 창출을 위해 창업교육이 대학에 확산되고 있다. 하지만 이제까지는 대학 창업교육의 효과를 창업분야 중심으로 연구되어왔다. 그럼으로 창업교육에 대한 다양한 효과 연구는 매우 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 창업교육을 통한 역량 함양이 사회에 진출을 앞두고 있는 대학생의 진로준비행동에 어떤 유의미한 영향을 미치는지에 대해 실증분석 검증하였다. 본 연구의 표본은 2016년 8월부터 설문조사를 실시하였고 지역별 5개 대학교를 선발하여 창업교육을 수강한 대학생 393명들을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였으며 실증분석에 활용하였다. 분석결과 창업교육을 통해 함양된 협업적의사소통능력, 창의적 문제해결능력은 기업가정신과 자기효능감에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤고, 기업가정신과 자기효능감은 진로준비행동에 정(+)의 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 하지만 창업교육에 의한 협업적 의사소통능력, 창의적문제해결능력, 효율적 업무행동능력은 진로준비행동에는 직접적인 유의미한 영향이 없는 것으로 분석되었다. 반면 기업가정신, 자기효능감의 매개효과 검증에서는 협업적 의사소통능력, 창의적 문제해결능력과 진로준비행동 사이에서 긍정의 매개역할을 하고 있음을 검증하였다. 이에 본 연구의 시사점은 대학 창업교육이 진로준비행동에 영향을 미치는 다양한 효과성을 검증 하였다. 즉, 대학에서 창업교육을 역량 중심의 양적 확대보다는 기업가정신과 자기효능감을 고취 함양시킴으로 진로준비행동에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 직접효과와 매개효과를 증명하였다. 또한 매개변수(기업가정신, 자기효능감)는 진로준비행동에 미치는 효과와 성과를 창출하기 위한 핵심변수라는 시사점을 도출하였다. 그리고 창업교육의 창의성 역량에 대한 보완과 체계를 잡아 진로준비행동에도 직접적인 유의미한 영향을 미칠 수 있도록 개선 될 필요가 있다는 시사점을 도출하였다. 무엇보다 이러한 효과를 측정하기 위해서 창업교육에 대한 정성적인 평가지표 개발도 시급하다. 따라서 창업교육은 대학생들의 진로준비를 위해서라도 반드시 필요하다는 의미있는 시사점과 함께 향후 창업교육에 대한 다양한 효과를 검증하기 위한 추가 연구가 필요하다.

  • In the age of global communication, more human exchange is extended at the grass-roots level. In the old days, language policy and language planning was based on one nation-state with one language. But high waves of globalizaiton have allowed extended human flow of exchange beyond one's national border on a daily basis. Under such circumstances, homogeneity in Japan may not allow Japanese to speak and communicate only in Japanese and only with Japanese people. In Japan, an advisory report was made to the Ministry of Education in June 1996 about what education should be like in the 21st century. In this report, an introduction of English at public elementary schools was for the first time made. A basic policy of English instruction at the elementary school level was revealed. With this concept, English instruction is not required at the elementary school level but each school has their own choice of introducing English as their curriculum starting April 2002. As Baker, Colin (1996) indicates the age of three as being the threshold diving a child becoming bilingual naturally or by formal instruction. Threre is a movement towards making second language acquisition more naturalistic in an educational setting, developing communicative competence in a more or less formal way. From the lesson of the Canadian immersion success, Genesee (1987) stresses the importance of early language instruction. It is clear that from a psycho-linguistic perspective, most children acquire basic communication skills in their first language apparently effortlessly and without systematic and formal instruction during the first six or seven years of life. This innate capacity diminishes with age, thereby making language learning increasingly difficult. The author, being a returnee, experienced considerable difficulty acquiring L2, and especially achieving native-like competence. There will be many hurdles to conquer until Japanese students are able to reach at least a communicative level in English. It has been mentioned that English is not taught to clear the college entrance examination, but to communicate. However, Japanese college entrance examination still makes students focus more on the grammar-translation method. This is expected to shift to a more communication stressed approach. Japan does not have to aim at becoming an official bilingual country, but at least communicative English should be taught at every level in school Mito College is a small two-year co-ed college in Japan. Students at Mito College are basically notgood at English. It has only one department for business and economics, and English is required for all freshmen. It is necessary for me to make my classes enjoyable and attractive so that students can at least get motivated to learn English. My major target is communicative English so that students may be prepared to use English in various business settings. As an experiment to introduce more communicative English, the author has made the following syllabus design. This program aims at training students speak and enjoy English. 90-minute class (only 190-minute session per week is most common in Japanese colleges) is divided into two: The first half is to train students orally using Graded Direct Method. The latter half uses different materials each time so that students can learn and enjoy English culture and language simultaneously. There are no quizes or examinations in my one-academic year program. However, all students are required to make an original English poem by the end of the spring semester. 2-6 students work together in a group on one poem. Students coming to Mito College, Japan have one of the lowest English levels in all of Japan. However, an attached example of one poem made by a group shows that students can improve their creativity as long as they are kept encouraged. At the end of the fall semester, all students are then required individually to make a 3-minute original English speech. An example of that speech contest will be presented at the Convention in Seoul.

융합인재교육(STEAM)의 정책과 실행 방향에 대한 국내외 전문가들의 인식 (Domestic and International Experts' Perception of Policy and Direction on STEAM Education)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 융합인재교육(STEAM)이 가지는 가치, 필요성, 정당성을 탐색하고, 국내외 사례와 전문가들의 인식을 조사하여 우리나라 실정에 맞는 융합인재교육의 정책 및 실행 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 이 연구의 대상자는 2011학년도 전국의 초.중.고등학교에서 융합인재교육 연구학교의 실무를 담당한 교사 11명과 STEM/STEAM 교육과 관련된 국내 전문가 19명, 국외 전문가 12명이며, 이들이 소속된 기관의 프로그램 운영 사례를 논의의 대상으로 하였다. 우리나라의 융합인재교육 정책에서 고려되어야 할 점을 경험과 이해, 정책적 지원, 추진 방향의 측면에서 분석된 결과는 첫째, 경험과 이해의 측면에서 학교 현장에서 편리하게 적용하고 활동할 수 있는 프로그램 개발과 적용 방안이 제시되어야 하고, 이 교육 활동의 목표가 무엇이며 평가 체제와 환류에 대한 표준이 작성되어야 한다. 전문가들은 주제중심 학습이 가장 선호되는 학습이며, 창의적 사고력 개발과 실생활 적용능력을 위한 교육이 이루어져야 된다고 인식하고 있다. 둘째, 정책적 지원의 측면에서는 우수한 STEAM 교사 양성을 위한 다양한 프로그램과 정책적 유인책이 부족하다. 다양한 시각과 첨단 기술을 가미한 과학기술, 공학 및 예술과 인문사회를 아우를 수 있는 교재를 개발하여 보급하여야 한다. 이를 위해 교사들이 활동한 내용을 서로 나누고 자료를 쉽게 얻을 수 있는 STEAM 네트워크가 필요하다. 이 네트워크에는 기업체, 대학, 연구소 등의 관련 기관이 함께 참여할 수 있도록 정책적인 유도가 필요하다. 셋째, 추진방향의 측면에서는 현행 교육과정에서 STEAM 교육이 자연스럽게 이루어 질 수 있는 정책 방안 제시가 필요하다. 국내외 전문가들은 창의적 사고력을 기르는 교육과 함께 융합적 문제해결력을 기르는 교육 방향으로 나가는 것을 추천하고 있다. STEAM 교육과 관련된 정부의 부처 간의 협조에 의해서 이를 실천해 나갈 것을 요구하고 있다.

가상현실 기술을 활용한 방사선치료 교육 콘텐츠 제작 구현 (Implementation of Radiotherapy Educational Contents Using Virtual Reality)

  • 스마트기기기의 발전으로 일상생활에 큰 변화를 가지고 왔으며, 가장 크게 변화된 영역 중 하나가 가상현실 영역이다. 가상현실이란 디스플레이 장치를 이용해 이미 만들어진 3차원 고해상도 이미지를 마치 자신이 그 속에 존재하는 것과 같은 착각을 일으키는 기술이다. 실습장비가 구축되지 않은 교과목의 경우 시청각 자료에 의존할 수밖에 없어 실습 집중도 및 수업에 대한 질적 저하 발생하고 있는 현실이다. 방사선과 학생들에게 효과적인 교재 개발을 위해 가상 현실을 이용하였다. 가상현실을 이용한 동영상 교보재 제작을 위해 방사선종양학과가 개설된 병원을 선정하여 2017년 7월부터 9월에 촬영을 2회 실시하였다. 방사선종양학과 업무 흐름도를 고려하여 동영상을 제작하였으며, 전산화단층모의치료실 및 선형가속기실 두 군데에서 촬영을 진행하였다. 동영상 촬영에 앞서 각각에 대한 시나리오 및 촬영 동선을 사전 체크하여 동영상 편집을 용이하게 할 수 있도록 사전 작업을 진행하였다. Window XP 운영체제를 사용하는 PC환경에서 모델링과 맵핑 작업을 실시하였다. 대표적인 가상현실 카메라인 고프로 Hero4 2대를 이용하여 화소는 4K UHD: 약 800만 화소 해상도는 $3,840{\times}2,160/4,096{\times}2,160$ 두 개를 사용하였으며, 동영상 제작 후 편집은 프로그램 어도비프리미어 CC, 에프터이펙트, 포토샵, 일러스트를 사용하였다. 총 재생 시간은 가상현실을 이용한 교보재 제작 시 구토 및 어지러움증이 발생하지 않는 시간 5분 내외로 편집을 진행하였다. 동영상 구성은 도입, 시설 설명, 장비 설명, 교과 설명 및 정리로 진행하였으며, 동영상 촬영 후 편집 기간은 약 2주 정도 소요되었다. 현재 개발된 가상현실 방사선과 교육콘텐츠는 다양한 기관에서 활용할 수 있도록 시장을 확보하고 홍보를 확대하는 작업을 추진하고 있다. 향 후 가상현실을 체험한 학습자들을 대상으로 가상현실을 이용한 방사선과 교육 콘텐츠에 대한 만족도 및 학습 효능감에 대해 조사하여 가상현실 기술을 이용한 교보재에 대한 학습 콘텐츠 유용성을 평가하여 효과적인 임상실습 환경을 제공하고자 한다.

문헌정보학전공 졸업자의 취업실태 분석 연구 - K대학교를 중심으로 - (A Study on Employment Analysis of Graduates Majoring Library and Information Science: the case of K University)

  • 본 연구는 K대학을 중심으로 문헌정보학 전공 졸업자의 취업실태를 분석, 문제점을 파악하고 개선방안을 제언하는데 있다. 2006년 8월부터 2011년 2월까지 5년간 취업가능 졸업자 178명을 분석한 결과, 취업실태는 취업 65%, 미취업 32%, 진학 3%로 나타났다. 이 중 취업자 116명을 분석한 결과, 고용형태는 정규직 40%, 비정규직 60%로, 직장 유형은 일반회사 29%, 공공도서관 16%, 학교도서관과 대학도서관 각각 10%, 대학/학교행정 9%, 공공기관과 출판/서점 각각 6%, 전문도서관 5%로 나타났다. 또 담당직무는 사서업무 38%, 사무업무 30%, 영업/관리 7%, 텔러/판매 7%, 조교업무 5%, 웹/전산 3%, 학원 강사와 상품기획/디자인 각각 2%, 사서교사, 보육교사, 비서, 사보기자, 군인, 자영업 각각 1%로 나타나 40%대의 전공일치도를 보였다. 미취업자(56명)의 희망 진로는 취업준비 57%, 공무원 준비 21%, 교사임용 준비와 미확인 각각 11%로 나타났다. 분석결과 문제점은 미취업률이 32%에 달할 정도로 높은 점, 정규직보다 비정규직 취업률이 높은 점, 전공일치도 평균 40%대에 불과한 점 등이었다. 이를 토대로 국가와 지방자치단체가 도서관적 일자리를 적극 창출할 것, 전공학생이 정보 분야 일자리를 이해하고 체험할 수 있는 기회를 갖게 할 것, 학문분야 차원에서 전공분야에 대한 일자리를 개발하고 지도할 것 등을 제언하였다.

일본 '고증파(考證派)' 의학에 관한 연구 (A Study on The 'Kao Zheng Pai'(考證派) of The Traditional Medicine of Japan)

  • 1. The 'Kao Zheng Pai(考證派) comes from the 'Zhe Zhong Pai' and is a school that is influenced by the confucianism of the Qing dynasty. In Japan Inoue Kinga(井上金娥), Yoshida Koton(吉田篁墩) became central members, and the rise of the methodology of historical research(考證學) influenced the members of the 'Zhe Zhong Pai', and the trend of historical research changed from confucianism to medicine, making a school of medicine based on the study of texts and proving that the classics were right. 2. Based on the function of 'Nei Qu Li '(內驅力) the 'Kao Zheng Pai', in the spirit of 'use confucianism as the base', researched letters, meanings and historical origins. Because they were influenced by the methodology of historical research(考證學) of the Qing era, they valued the evidential research of classic texts, and there was even one branch that did only historical research, the 'Rue Xue Kao Zheng Pai'(儒學考證派). Also, the 'Yi Xue Kao Zheng Pai'(醫學考證派) appeared by the influence of Yoshida Kouton and Kariya Ekisai(狩谷掖齋). 3. In the 'Kao Zheng Pai(考證派)'s theories and views the 'Yi Xue Kao Zheng Pai' did not look at medical scriptures like the "Huang Di Nei Jing"("黃帝內經") and did not do research on 'medical' related areas like acupuncture, the meridian and medicinal herbs. Since they were doctors that used medicine, they naturally were based on 'formulas'(方劑) and since their thoughts were based on the historical ideologies, they valued the "Shang Han Ja Bing Lun" which was revered as the 'ancestor of all formulas'(衆方之祖). 4. The lives of the important doctors of the 'Kao Zheng Pai' Meguro Dotaku(目黑道琢) Yamada Seichin(山田正珍), Yamada Kyoko(山田業廣), Mori Ritsi(森立之) Kitamura Naohara(喜多村直寬) are as follows. 1) Meguro Dotaku(目黑道琢 1739${\sim}$1798) was born of lowly descent but, using his intelligence and knowledge, became a professor as a Shi Jing Yi(市井醫) and as a professor for 34 years at Ji Shou Guan mastered the "Huang Di Nei Jing" after giving over 300 lectures. Since his pupil, Isawara Ken taught the Lan Men Wu Zhe(蘭門五哲) and Shibue Chusai, Mori Ritsi(森立之), Okanishi Gentei(岡西玄亭), Kiyokawa Gendoh(淸川玄道) and Yamada Kyoko(山田業廣), Meguro Dotaku is considered the founder of the 'Yi Xue Kao Zheng Pai'. 2) The family of Yamada Seichin(山田正珍 1749${\sim}$1787) had been medical officials in the Makufu(幕府) and the many books that his ancestors had left were the base of his art. Seichin learned from Shan Ben Bei Shan(山本北山), a 'Zhe Zhong Pai' scholar, and put his efforts into learning, teaching and researching the "Shang Han Lun"("傷寒論"). Living in a time between 'Gu Fang Pai'(古方派) member Nakanishi Goretada(中西惟忠) and 'Kao Zheng Pai' member Taki Motohiro(多紀元簡), he wrote 11 books, 2 of which express his thoughts and research clearly, the "Shang Han Lun Ji Cheng"("傷寒論集成") and "Shang Han Kao"("傷寒考"). His comparison of the 'six meridians'(3 yin, 3 yang) between the "Shang Han Lun" and the "Su Wen Re Lun"("素問 熱論) and his acknowledgement of the need and rationality of the concept of Yin-Yang and Deficient-Replete distinguishes him from the other 'Gu Fang Pai'. Also, his dissertation of the need for the concept doesn't use the theories of latter schools but uses the theory of the "Shang Han Lun" itself. He even researched the historical parts, such as terms like 'Shen Nong Chang Bai Cao'(神農嘗百草) and 'Cheng Qi Tang'(承氣湯) 3) The ancestor of Yamada Kyoko(山田業廣) was a court physician, and learned confucianism from Kao Zheng Pai 's Ashikawa Genan(朝川善庵) and medicine from Isawa Ranken and Taki Motokata(多紀元堅), and the secret to smallpox from Ikeda Keisui(池田京水). He later became a lecturer at the Edo Yi Xue Guan(醫學館) and was invited as the director to the Ji Zhong(濟衆) hospital. He also became the first owner of the Wen Zhi She(溫知社), whose main purpose was the revival of kampo, and launched the monthly magazine Wen Zi Yi Tan(溫知醫談). He also diagnosed and prescribed for the prince Ming Gong(明宮). His works include the "Jing Fang Bian"("經方辨"), "Shang Han Lun Si Ci"("傷寒論釋司"), "Huang Zhao Zhu Jia Zhi Yan Ji Yao"("皇朝諸家治驗集要") and "Shang Han Ja Bing Lun Lei Juan"("傷寒雜病論類纂"). of these, the "Jing Fang Bian"("經方辨") states that the Shi Gao(石膏) used in the "Shang Han Lun" had three meanings-Fa Biao(發表), Qing Re(淸熱), Zi Yin(滋陰)-which were from 'symptoms', and first deducted the effects and then told of the reason. Another book, the "Jiu Zhe Tang Du Shu Ji"("九折堂讀書記") researched and translated the difficult parts of the "Shang Han Lun", "Jin Qui Yao Lue", "Qian Jin Fang"("千金方"), and "Wai Tai Mi Yao"("外臺秘要"). He usually analyzed the 'symptoms' of diseases but the composition, measurement, processing and application of medicine were all in the spectrum of 'analystic research' and 'researching analysis'. 4) The ancestors of Mori Rits(森立之 1807${\sim}$ 1885) were warriors but he became a doctor by the will of his mother, and he learned from Shibue Chosai(澁江抽齋) and Isawaran Ken and later became a pupil of Shou Gu Yi Zhai, a historical research scholar. He then became a lecturer of medical herbs at the Yi Xue Guan, and later participated in the proofreading of "Yi Xin Fang"("醫心方") and with Chosai compiled the "Jing Ji Fang Gu Zhi"("神農本草經"). He visited the Chinese scholar Yang Shou Jing(楊守敬) in 1881 and exchanged books and ideas. Of his works, there are the collections(輯複本) of "Shen Nong Ben Cao Jing"(神農本草經) and "You Xiang Yi Hwa"("遊相醫話") and the records, notes, poems, and diaries such as "Zhi Yuan Man Lu"("枳園漫錄") and "Zhi Yuan Sui Bi"("枳園隨筆") that were not published. His thoughts were that in restoring the "Shen Nong Ben Cao Jing", "the herb to the doctor is like the "Shuo Wen Jie Zi"("說文解字") to the scholar", and he tried to restore the ancient herbal text using knowledge of medicine and investigation(考據). Also with Chosai he compiled the "Jing Ji Fang Gu Zhi"("經籍訪古志") using knowledge of ancient text. Ritzi left works on pure investigation, paid much attention to social problems, and through 12 years of poverty treated all people and animals in all branches of medicine, so he is called a 'half confucianist half doctor'(半儒半醫). 5) Kitamurana Ohira(喜多村直寬 1804${\sim}$1876) learned scriptures and ancient texts from confucian scholar Asaka Gonsai, and learned medicine from his father Huai Yaun(槐園). He became a teacher in the Yi Xue Guan in his middle ages, and to repay his country, he printed 266 volumes of "Yi Fang Lei Ju("醫方類聚") and 1000 volumes of "Tai Ping Yu Lan"("太平禦覽") and devoted it to his country to be spread. His works are about 40 volumes including "Jin Qui Yao Lue Shu Yi" and "Lao Yi Zhi Yan" but most of them are researches on the "Shang Han Za Bing Lun". In his "Shang Han Lun Shu Yi"("傷寒論疏義") he shows the concept of the six meridians through the Yin-Yang, Superficial or internal, cold or hot, deficient or replete state of diseases, but did not match the names with the six meridians of the meridian theory, and this has something in common with the research based on the confucianism of Song(宋儒). In clinical treatment he was positive toward old and new methods and also the experience of civilians, but was negative toward western medicine. 6) The ancestor of the Taki family Tanbano Yasuyori(丹波康賴 912-955) became a Yi Bo Shi(醫博士) by his medical skills and compiled the "Yi Xin Fang"("醫心方"). His first son Tanbano Shigeaki(丹波重明) inherited the Shi Yao Yuan(施藥院) and the third son Tanbano Masatada(丹波雅忠) inherited the Dian You Tou(典藥頭). Masatada's descendents succeeded him for 25 generations until the family name was changed to Jin Bao(金保) and five generations later it was changed again to Duo Ji(多紀). The research scholar Taki Motohiro was in the third generation after the last name was changed to Taki, and his family kept an important part in the line of medical officers in Japan. Taki Motohiro(多紀元簡 1755-1810) was a teacher in the Yi Xue Guan where his father was residing, and became the physician for the general Jia Qi(家齊). He had a short temper and was not good at getting on in the world, and went against the will of the king and was banished from Ao Yi Shi(奧醫師). His most famous works, the "Shang Han Lun Ji Yi" and "Jin Qui Yao Lue Ji Yi" are the work of 20 years of collecting the theories of many schools and discussing, and is one of the most famous books on the "Shang Han Lun" in Japan. "Yi Sheng" is a collection of essays on research. Also there are the "Su Wen Shi"("素問識"), "Ling Shu Shi"("靈樞識"), and the "Guan lu Fang Yao Bu"("觀聚方要補"). Taki Motohiro(多紀元簡)'s position was succeeded by his third son Yuan Yin(元胤 1789-1827), and his works include works of research such as "Nan Jing Shu Jeng"("難經疏證"), "Ti Ya"("體雅"), "Yao Ya"("藥雅"), "Ji Ya"("疾雅"), "Ming Yi Gong An"("名醫公案"), and "Yi Ji Kao"("醫籍考"). The younger sibling of Yuan Yin(元胤 1789-1827), Yuan Jian(元堅 1795-1857) expounded ancient writings at the Yi Xue Guan only after he reached middle age, was chosen for the Ao Yi Shi(奧醫師) and later became a Fa Yan(法眼), Fa Yin(法印) and Yu Chi(樂匙). On the Taki family's founding and working of the Yi Xue Guan Yasuka Doumei(失數道明) said they were "the people who took the initiative in Edo era kampo medicine" and evaluated their deeds in the fields of 'research of ancient text', 'the founding of Ji Shou Guan and medical education', 'publication business', 'writing of medical text'. 5. The doctors of the 'Kao Zheng Pai ' based their operations on the Edo Yi Xue Guan, and made groups with people with similar ideas to them, making a relationship 'net'. For example the three families of Duo Ji(多紀), Tang Chuan(湯川) and Xi Duo Cun(喜多村) married and adopted with and from each other and made prefaces and epitaphs for each other. Thus, the Taki family, the state science of the Makufu, the tendency of thinking, one's own interests and glory, one's own knowledge, the need of the society all played a role in the development of kampo medicine in the 18th and 19th century.

  • 1.The 'Kao Zheng Pai'(考證派) comes from the 'Zhe Zhong Pai(折衷派)' and is a school that is influenced by the confucianism of the Qing dynasty. In Japan Inoue Kinga(井上金峨), Yoshida Koton(古田篁墩 $1745{\sim}1798$) became central members, and the rise of the methodology of historical research(考證學) influenced the members of the 'Zhe Zhong Pai', and the trend of historical research changed from confucianism to medicine, making a school of medicine based on the study of texts and proving that the classics were right. 2. Based on the function of 'Nei Qu Li'(內驅力) the 'Kao Zheng Pai', in the spirit of 'use confucianism as the base', researched letters, meanings and historical origins. Because they were influenced by the methodology of historical research(考證學) of the Qing era, they valued the evidential research of classic texts, and there was even one branch that did only historical research, the 'Rue Xue Kao Zheng Pai'(儒學考證派). Also, the 'Yi Xue Kao Zheng Pai'(醫學考證派) appeared by the influence of Yoshida Kouton and Kariya Ekisai(狩谷掖齋). 3. In the 'Kao Zheng Pai(考證派)'s theories and views the 'Yi Xue Kao Zheng Pai' did not look at medical scriptures like the "Huang Di Nei Jing"("黃帝內經") and did not do research on 'medical' related areas like acupuncture, the meridian and medicinal herbs. Since they were doctors that used medicine, they naturally were based on 'formulas'(方劑) and since their thoughts were based on the historical ideologies, they valued the "Shang Han Ja Bing Lun" which was revered as the 'ancestor of all formulas'(衆方之祖). 4. The lives of the important doctors of the 'Kao Zheng Pai' Meguro Dotaku(目黑道琢) Yamada Seichin(山田正珍), Yamada Kyoko(山田業廣), Mori Ritsi(森立之) Kitamura Naohara(喜多村直寬) are as follows. 1) Meguro Dotaku(目黑道琢 $1739{\sim}1798$) was born of lowly descent but, using his intelligence and knowledge, became a professor as a Shi Jing Yi(市井醫) and as a professor for 34 years at Ji Shou Guan(躋壽館) mastered the "Huang Di Nei Jing" after giving over 300 lectures. Since his pupil, Isawara Ken(伊澤蘭軒) taught the Lan Men Wu Zhe(蘭門五哲) and Shibue Chusai(澀江抽齋), Mori Ritsi(森立之), Okanishi Gentei(岡西玄亭), Kiyokawa Gendoh(淸川玄道) and Yamada Kyoko(山田業廣), Meguro Dotaku is considered the founder of the 'Yi Xue Kao Zheng Pai'. 2) The family of Yamada Seichin(山田正珍 $1749{\sim}1787$) had been medical officials in the Makufu(幕府) and the many books that his ancestors had left were the base of his art. Seichin learned from Shan Ben Bei Shan(山本北山), a 'Zhe Zhong Pai' scholar, and put his efforts into learning, teaching and researching the "Shang Han Lun"("傷寒論"). Living in a time between 'Gu Fang Pai'(古方派) member Nakanishi Goretada(中西惟忠) and 'Kao Zheng Pai' member Taki Motohiro(多紀元簡), he wrote 11 books, 2 of which express his thoughts and research clearly, the "Shang Han Lun Ji Cheng"("傷寒論集成") and "Shang Han Kao"("傷寒考"). His comparison of the 'six meridians'(3 yin, 3 yang) between the "Shang Han Lun" and the "Su Wen Re Lun"("素問 熱論") and his acknowledgement of the need and rationality of the concept of Yin-Yang and Deficient-Replete distinguishes him from the other 'Gu Fang Pai'. Also, his dissertation of the need for the concept doesn't use the theories of latter schools but uses the theory of the "Shang Han Lun" itself. He even researched the historical parts, such as terms like 'Shen Nong Chang Bai Cao'(神農嘗百草) and 'Cheng Qi Tang'(承氣湯). 3) The ancestor of Yamada Kyoko(山田業廣) was a court physician, and learned confucianism from Kao Zheng Pai's Ashikawa Genan(朝川善庵) and medicine from Isawa Ranken(伊澤蘭軒) and Taki Motokata(多紀元堅), and the secret to smallpox from Ikeda Keisui(池田京水). He later became a lecturer at the Edo Yi Xue Guan(醫學館) and was invited as the director to the Ji Zhong(濟衆) hospital. He also became the first owner of the Wen Zhi She(溫知社), whose main purpose was the revival of kampo, and launched the monthly magazine Wen Zi Yi Tan(溫知醫談). He also diagnosed and prescribed for the prince Ming Gong(明宮). His works include the "Jing Fang Bian"("經方辨"), "Shang Han Lun Si Ci"("傷寒論釋詞"), "Huang Zhao Zhu Jia Zhi Yan Ji Yao"("皇朝諸家治驗集要") and "Shang Han Ja Bing Lun Lei Juan"("傷寒雜病論類纂"). of these, the "Jing Fang Bian"("經方辨") states that the Shi Gao(石膏) used in the "Shang Han Lun" had three meanings-Fa Biao(發表), Qing Re(淸熱), Zi Yin(滋陰)-which were from 'symptoms', and first deducted the effects and then told of the reason. Another book, the "Jiu Zhe Tang Du Shu Ji"("九折堂讀書記") researched and translated the difficult parts of the "Shang Han Lun", "Jin Qui Yao Lue"("金匱要略"), "Qian Jin Fang"("千金方"), and "Wai Tai Mi Yao"("外臺秘要"). He usually analyzed the 'symptoms' of diseases but the composition, measurement, processing and application of medicine were all in the spectrum of 'analystic research' and 'researching analysis'. 4) The ancestors of Mori Ritsi(森立之 $1807{\sim}1885$) were warriors but he became a doctor by the will of his mother, and he learned from Shibue Chosai(澁江抽齋) and Isawaran Ken(伊澤蘭軒) and later became a pupil of Shou Gu Yi Zhai(狩谷掖齋), a historical research scholar. He then became a lecturer of medical herbs at the Yi Xue Guan, and later participated in the proofreading of "Yi Xin Fang"("醫心方") and with Chosai compiled the "Jing Ji Fang Gu Zhi"("經籍訪古志"). He visited the Chinese scholar Yang Shou Jing(楊守敬) in 1881 and exchanged books and ideas. Of his works, there are the collections(輯複本) of "Shen Nong Ben Cao Jing"("神農本草經") and "You Xiang Yi Hwa"("遊相醫話") and the records, notes, poems, and diaries such as "Zhi Yuan Man Lu"("枳園漫錄") and "Zhi Yuan Sui Bi"(枳園隨筆) that were not published.
