The third-party logistics industry mainly delivers goods from a place to an arrival place on behalf of the freight owner. To handle the work, they need a transportation route including transportation equipment between the starting place and the arrival place, schedule information for departure/arrival and transportation cost. Actually, automatic searching for an optimal transportation route, which considers arrival and departure points for intermodal transportation, is not a simple problem. To search efficiently transportation route, the collection of schedule information for intermodal transportation and transportation route generation have become critical and vital issues for logistics companies. Usually, they manually make a plan for a transportation route by their experience. Because of this, they are limited in their ability if there is too much cargo volume and a great many transactions. Furthermore, their dependence on the conventional way in doing business causes an inefficient selection of transporters or transportation routes. Also, it fails to provide diverse alternatives for transportation routes to the customers, and as a result, increases logistics costs. In an effort to solve these problems, this study aims to develop a route planning system based on agent, which can collect scattered schedule information on the Web. The route planning system also has an algorithm for transportation route generation in intermodal transportation.
The goal of medicine is to contribute to promoting national health by preventing diseases and providing treatment. The scope of modern medicine isn't merely confined to disease testing, treatment and prevention in accordance to that, and making experiments by using the human body is widespread. The advance in modern medicine has made a great contribution to valuing human dignity and actualizing a manly life, but there is a problem that has still nagged modern medicine: treatment and healing for terminal patients including cancer patients. In advanced countries, pain care and hospice medicine are already universal. Offering a helping hand for terminal patients to lead a less painful and more manly life from diverse angles instead of merely focusing on treatment is called the very hospice medicine. That is a comprehensive package of medical services to take care of death-facing terminal patients and their families with affection. That is providing physical, mental and social support for the patients to pass away in peace after living a dignified and decent life, and that is comforting their bereaved families. The National Hospice Organization of the United States provides terminal patients and their families with sustained hospital care and home care in a move to lend assistance to them. In our country, however, tertiary medical institutions simply provide medical care for terminal patients to extend their lives, and there are few institutional efforts to help them. Hospice medicine is offered mostly in our country by non- professionals including doctors, nurses, social workers, pastors or physical therapists. Terminal patients' needs cannot be satisfied in the same manner as those of other patients, and it's needed to take a different approach to their treatment as well. Nevertheless, the focus of medical care is still placed on treatment only, which should be taken seriously. Ministry for Health, Welfare & Family Affairs and Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service held a public hearing on May 21, 2008, on the cost of hospice care, quality control and demonstration project to gather extensive opinions from the academic community, experts and consumer groups to draw up plans about manpower supply, facilities and demonstration project, but the institutions are not going to work on hospice education, securement of facilities and relevant legislation. In 2002, Ministry for Health, Welfare & Family Affairs made an official announcement to introduce a hospice nurse system to nurture nurse specialists in this area. That ministry legislated for the qualifications of advanced nurse practitioner and a hospice nurse system(Article 24 and 2 in Enforcement Regulations for the Medical Law), but few specific plans are under way to carry out the regulations. It's well known that the medical law defines a nurse as a professional health care worker, and there is a move to draw a line between the responsibilities of doctors and those of nurses in association with medical errors. Specifically, the roles of professional hospice are increasingly expected to be accentuated in conjunction with treatment for terminal patients, and it seems that delving into possible problems with the job performance of nurses and coming up with workable countermeasures are what scholars of conscience should do in an effort to contribute to the development of medicine and the realization of a dignified and manly life.
One of the organizational characteristics in the modern society is the emphasis placed upon individual autonomy in an effort to promote and develop each member's morale as well as the efficiency in personnel management. Therefore, it can be understood that the importance of "Self" is recognized in work places and the leadership of supervisors and each member's self-management and control are also emphasized, leading to establishment of the "Self-leadership" concept. In this study, the effect of the Transformational Leadership of the supervisors on the subordinates' Self-leadership was analyzed and the causal factor of organizational support in the relationship between Transformational Leadership and Self-leadership was defined. A survey was conducted with 182 security officials at the National Assembly and the following results were obtained. First, Transformational Leadership had a positive effect on Self-leadership and the Transformational Leadership of the supervisors had a statistically significant impact on the organizational support awareness. Furthermore, organizational support showed a statistically significant mediator effect in the relationship between the Transformational Leadership of the supervisors and the Self-leadership of the subordinates. Finally, future directions in regard to the personnel management system were suggested.
National Assembly is a constitutional institution that is required to first consult the will of the people and it should do its effort continuously so that security of citizens using parking lot would be enhanced at the same time while improving parking service in order to increase customer satisfaction of the people. Under this recognition, in this study, Doonchi parking lot of National Assembly under consigned management was first reviewed in a perspective of criminal prevention through environmental design(CPTED) and particularly, fence installation and reinforcement work for securing 'territoriality' and operation of all round shooting camera and installation of No-trespassing warning board at entrance were suggested. Second, it was recommended to change independent control system in which CCTV security system of National Assembly Doonchi parking lot is operated separately from National Assembly safety situation room and integrate it with National Assembly safety situation room(revised to double safety system) and performance of CCTV camera was made to be increased to over 2m. In addition, video recording mode was converted to NVR mode for application to IP camera in the future and in order to avoid dead zone of security monitoring area and based on site inspection result, addition 3 places of newly installing CCTV were indicated. Third, it was recommended to introduce parking fare billing and management system through unmanned equipment in parking lot management and operation.(specialized management of professional parking service provider was reviewed). By doing so, risk of cash handling by charging personnel was removed by reducing current 7 working personnel to 3 and particularly, by converting parking lot management mode being operated temporarily from 9 A.M. to 9 P.M. at present to 24 hours operation mode and providing more specialized parking service, citizens visiting National Assembly were provided with convenience and image of National Assembly was also enhanced. This study was carried out in parallel with various literature and case studies, including data from the Office of the Defense Protection in the National Assembly.
This study was carried out to investigate the current state of occupational health management and characteristics of employees working in small-scale-enterprises (SSE) employing less than 50 workers. Samples were chosen among the two thousands employees working in 838 factories where located in Youngdungpo-Ku, Seoul, Korea. The study results were as followed: 1. Most factories investigated in the study were manufactures (68.6%) which were established in 5 to 10 years ago (29.2%), employing less than 5 workers (72.9%) and registered in accident compensation insurance (23.0%). 2. Health screening was undertaken in 24.9% workplaces for periodic health examination and in 1.5% for special health examination. Environmental monitoring was done in 3.3% factories. Very few factories displayed Material Substance Data Sheet (MSDS) in 3.1% among the total factories. 3. Workplaces usually had their own toilets in 75.9% and washing basin in 58.6% as types of sociowelfare facilities. 4. Employees responded in the study were mostly in the range of age from 30 to 39 in 34.7%. male in 84.8%. the married in 70.3%. manual workers in 42.0%. mostly working regularly 51 hours per a week in 48.2% and earned 710.000 Won to 1.000.000 Won per month in 35.0%. Medical utilization for employees were covered by factories sponsored medical insurance in 12.7% and by provincial sponsored medical insurance in 83.4%. 5. Two point six percents of employees were suffered by diseases. The health complaints indicated were mainly digestive problems in 46.7% and hypertension in 24.4%. 6. Employees wore personal protective equipments for work such as gloves in 48.1%. safety shoes in 30.5%. ear plug in 5.5% and mask in 6.9%. Based on the results of study, we recommend that various types of occupational health management should be developed according to workplace working condition of each factory. In addition to the development of occupational health strategies. we think that it is more important to monitor and to allocate how effectively they operate each other on the basis of longitudinal continuity. Besides, we would like to insist that these all management effort should be focused on prevention of disease and occupational health education of employees.
The purpose of this study is to investigate provedly the effectiveness of the practice for the arts and crafts by machine for project based learning upon improving industrial high school students' key competency for vocation, and to provide the incumbent teachers and future teachers who want to conduct research, a similar study with the basic reference materials. The vocational key competencies interested in this study are communication ability, information usage skills, team work skills, problem solving skills, tool usage skills, and responsibility and confidence areas. Because the result of pre and post testing over these six areas has insignificant differences statistically, we reach a conclusion which project based learning is more effective than traditional practice methods at improving the vocational key competencies of industrial students. On the basis of the results of this study, I would like to suggest some kinds of things needed to improve the vocational key competencies of industrial high school students. First, we require the diverse research to investigate the best teaching and learning methods to cultivate people of ability with the vocational key competencies Second, it is required that to measure the extent of the improvement of the vocational key competencies of industrial high school students, we have to develop a more objective test tool than that used in this study. Third, in the light of facts that project based learning influences on improving the vocational key competencies of the industrial high school student, we will have to make an effort actively to find the best teaching and learning methods, like project based learning. Therefore, we need to give diverse training opportunities and financial support so that teachers can conduct research to find the best teaching and learning method at improving the vocational key competencies for industrial high school students.
This paper reviews battering, sexual violence and divorce experienced among women. There three problems have negative influence on health status in women and are further developed to social problems such as family dissolution. The victims of the problems may manifest physical injury, emotional difficulties and social withdrawl, while their children may show problems caused by lack of parental caring and by resembling abusive behaviors of their parents. Hence, nurses need to pay attention to batting, sexual violence, and divorce and to develop relevant nursing interventions for them. Some strategies of dealing with those problems are presented in the following. First, we have to eliminate sexism prevailing in out society. Our society is assigning inequal and asymmetrical gender role. Mass media should inspire equality between genders and show a healthy model of family and community. Second, social system and laws should be changed through collective efforts. Those living conditions of women cannot be changed by the effort of women themselves only. We all need to work for establishing and changing the law, so that those women in suffering can obtain immediate and adequate protection. Third, social support system of consulting and referring women's problems should be established. Such support system as hot line, shelter and counseling clinics would help women in crisis. Fourth, job training and arrangement should be available to women who are divorced. Fifth, there should be self-help group for those women in suffering. Self-help group would help those women in sharing their problems and feelings and in establishing coping strategies. Nurses, as the largest group among health professionals, are sensitive and respond to health needs of clients and have an effect on managing women's health. However, we nurses have not been ready for dealing with problems of women, although most of us are women. we not need to change our perspective of women's health problems from a traditional medical perspective to feministic one. Accordingly, nurses need to develop realistic way of caring those women in suffering and to assist them in making decisions for their lives by themselves.
The purpose of this study is to understand the campus life of engineering transfer students, to devise a means for increasing their participation in the ABEEK, and to assist them to have the satisfactory campus lives through researching the satisfaction level and the campus life adaptation of transfer students. We conducted a survey targeting 193 engineering transfer students of K university and D university. The study shows that most transfer students were accepted into college through a general screening process, their grades are likely to be lower than those of the previous college, however, they tend to be satisfactory with the current campus life, and the rate of participation in the ABEEK is low. Therefore university officials need to work hard to raise the rate of the participation in the ABEEK track and the campus life adaptation of transfer students. Moreover, the male transfer students tend to be more satisfactory than the female students, and students with higher grades in the previous college are likely to show higher adaptation than those with lower grades. Therefore we should make effort to increase the satisfaction of transfer students and need to accommodate the programs for the female transfer students more positively.
Customers of local monopolistic department store can switch their store more easily than ever due to the rapidly changing environment in distribution system represented by multi-store-strategy of large department stores, increase in discount store and growing non-store retailing system. Consequently, local department stores which enjoyed their business with little competition are forced to study and understand the customer switching behavior. This work is intended to understand the switching behavior characteristics of monopolistic local clepartrrent store users. For the end, previous researches are reviewed firstly, then characteristics of store-switching behavior of custorrers amid rapidly changing distribution environment are studied in view of the relations of dissatisfaction factor, switching barrier, switch intention and custorrer characteristics such as shopping orientation, variety-seeking behavior, degree of openess to competition and sociodemographics. Study shows that; 1) dissatisfaction factor is related to customer characteristics (shopping orientation and degree of openess to competition), 2) switching barrier recognition is related to customer characteristics (degree of openess to competition and sociodemographics) and dissatisfaction factor, 3) intention to switch to expected competitor is related to customer characteristics (shopping orientation, degree of openess to competition and sociodemographics) and switching barrier recognition. Accordingly, switch control strategy of the monopolistic local department store facing competitors' entry into market, must be made, specifically, in a way to understand customer characteristics and to make deliberate effort to reduce customer dissatisfaction.

Stereotactic radiosurgery(SRS) is a technique to deliver a high dose to a particular target region and a low dose to the critical organ using only one or a few irradiations while the patient is fixed with a stereotactic frame. The optimized plan is decided by repetitive work to combine the beam parameters and identify prescribed doses level in a tumor, which is usually called a trial and error method. This requires a great deal of time, effort, and experience. Therefore, we developed the automatic arrangement of multi-isocenter within irregularly shaped tumor.
