  • 본 논문은 고성능 입력큐 스위치 패브릭을 위한 입력버퍼 관리기의 설계 및 구현에 관한 연구이다. 본 논문에서 설계된 버퍼관리기는 멀티기가비트 크로스바 스위치의 입력 및 출력 포트에 연결되어 하나의 스위치 패브릭으로 구성된다. 본 버퍼관리기는 입력 및 출력포트의 와이어 속도로 셀 및 패킷의 라우팅을 지원하며 중앙중재기와 정보전송에 있어서 중재요청신호 및 출력허가신호의 파이프 라인 전송지연을 수용하는 구조로 설계되었다. FPGA 칩을 이용하여 구현된 버퍼관리기는 포트당 2.5Gbps의 OC-48c 속도를 지원하며 외부 입력 및 출력 형식으로 CSIX 인터페이스를 지원한다.

Numerical investigation on the structural behavior of two-way slabs reinforced with low ductility steel

  • A numerical investigation of the impact of steel ductility on the strength and ductility of two-way corner and edge-supported concrete slabs containing low ductility welded wire fabric is presented. A finite element model was developed for the investigation and the results of a series of concurrent laboratory experiments were used to validate the numerical solution. A parametric investigation was conducted using the numerical model to investigate the various factors that influence the structural behavior at the strength limit state. Different values of steel uniform elongation and ultimate to yield strength ratios were considered. The results are presented and evaluated, with emphasis on the strength, ductility, and failure mode of the slabs. It was found that the ductility of the flexural reinforcement has a significant impact on the ultimate load behavior of two-way corner-supported slabs, particularly when the reinforcement was in the form of cold drawn welded wire fabric. However, the impact of the low ductility WWF has showed to be less prominent in structural slabs with higher levels of structural indeterminacy. The load-deflection curves of corner-supported slabs containing low ductility WWF are brittle, and the slabs have little ability to undergo plastic deformation at peak load.

인장타이를 이용한 비닐하우스의 보강효과에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Strengthening Effect of Plastic Greenhouse using Tension-tie)

  • 최근 기상이변으로 인한 겨울철 폭설로 농가 시설물 중의 하나인 비닐하우스의 붕괴사고가 빈번히 발생하여 농가의 피해가 증가되고 있다. 하지만 이에 대한 정부의 대책이 미약하여 매년 붕괴사고가 일어난다. 프레임 붕괴의 주된 이유는 폭설시 저항할 수 있는 휨내력이 부족하기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 현재 이용되는 비닐하우스에 인장타이로 보강한 실험연구를 수행하였다. 비닐하우스의 스팬은 6.5m이고, 단면은 두 가지 종류(${\phi}25.4{\times}1.5$, ${\phi}31.8{\times}1.5$)를 사용하였다. 비닐하우스의 곡선 보와 직선 기둥 연결부에 임시적인 인장타이로 스틸와이어와 로프를 이용하여 보강하였다. 프리텐션을 인장타이에 적용시켰고, 적설하중을 등가의 수직하중으로 파괴할 때까지 적용하였다. 무보강과 로프 보강을 비교한 결과 로프 보강의 붕괴하중이 10∼45% 증가하였고 무보강과 스틸와이어 보강을 비교한 결과 스틸와이어 보강의 붕괴하중이 58~73% 증가하였다. 강도와 관련해서는 비교적으로 스틸와이어가 효과적이나, 연결부 및 프리텐션 적용이 로프보다 복잡하고 어려우므로 로프가 더 효율적인 것으로 판단된다.

에어핸들링 유닛의 공기정화용 전기집진기의 방전극 비교 (Comparison of discharging electrodes for the electrostatic precipitator as an air filtration system in air handling units)

  • Indoor air quality is of increasing concern because it is closely related human health. An air handling unit (AHU) can be used to control the indoor air quality related to particulate matters and $CO_2$ as well as air conditioning such as temperature and humidity of indoor air. An electrostatic precipitator has a high collection efficiency and low pressure drop, however, ozone can possibly generate from its chargers, which is one of drawbacks to apply it for indoor air control. Here we compared four charging electrodes such as a $50{\mu}m$ tungsten wire, a $100{\mu}m$ tungsten wire, a $16{\mu}m$-thickness Al foil and a carbon fabric comprised of $5-10{\mu}m$ fibers. The carbon fabric electrode showed a superior particle collection efficiency and a lower ozone generation at a given power consumption compared to tungsten wires of 50, $100{\mu}m$ and an Al foil electrode. This low ozone generating, micro-sized electrode can be applied to the electrostatic precipitator in AHU for indoor air control.

  • 산업용 직물은 다른 건축재료에 비해 유연성이 크고 재료무게에 비해 카버하는 면적이 넓어서 장기적인 고정 건축물이 아닌 경우에 그 이용도가 늘어나고 있다. 이러한 산업용 직물의 주 기능은 예정 사용기간 동안 직물 양면사이의 압력을 견디는 일이 주 부하 모드이며 이 이차원구조를 유지하는 부분은 이 구조를 잡고 있는 부분이다. 그러나 직물의 일부가 파손되어 압력차를 유지하지 못하면 공압을 이용한 건축물의 순간적인 파괴로 연결된다. (중략)

광섬유와 LED를 활용한 마카쥬(marquage) 기법의 스마트 토트백 개발 (Development of Smart Tote Bags with Marquage Techniques Using Optical Fiber and LEDs)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop smart bags that combining fashion-specific trends and smart information technologies such as light-emitting diodes(LED) and optic fibers by grafting marquage techniques that have recently become popular as part of eco-fashion. We applied e-textiles by designing leather tote bags that could show off LED luminescence. A total of two tote bags, a white-colored peacock design and a black-colored paisley design, divided the LED's light-emitting method into two types, incremental lighting and random light-emission to suit each design, and the locations of the optical fibers were also reversed depending upon the design. The production of circuits for the LEDs and optical fibers was based on the design, and a flexible conductive fabric was laser-cut instead of wire line and attached to the circuit-line location. A separate connector was underwent three-dimensional(3D)-modeling and was connected to high-luminosity LEDs and optic fiber bundles. The optical fiber logo part expressed a subtle image using a white-colored LED, which did not offset the LED's sharp luminous effects, suggesting that using LEDs with fiber optics allowed for the expression of each in harmony without being heterogeneous. Overall, the LEDs and fiber optic fabric were well-harmonized in the fashion bag using marquage techniques, and there was no sense of it being a mechanical device. Also, the circuit part was made of conductive fabric, which is an e-textile product that feels the same as a thin, flexible fabric. The study confirmed that the bag was developed as a smart wearable product that could be used in everyday life.

반두께 P.C. 슬래브의 면내전단내력에 관한 연구 (Interface Shear Strength in Half Precast Concrete Slab)

  • 반두께 P.C. 슬래브는 슬래브의 일부분(하부)을 프리캐스트로 제작하고 상부에 현장 콘크리트를 타설하는 공법으로서 반두께 슬래브가 휨변형을 일으킬 때 접합면사이에서는 수평전단력이 발생하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 수평전단력에 저항하기 위한 방법으로 스크랫치 방법을 도입하였다. 주요 변수로서는 상부콘크리트의 압축강도, 전단철근의 유무, 콘크리트 표면거칠기, 그리고 용접철망과 전단철근의 결합유무등으로 되어있다. 모든 실험체의 접합면의 면적(A$_c$)은 3,2000$cm^2$으로 동일하다. 실험결과, 콘크리트 표면처리 깊이가 증가할수록 전단강도는 증가하였으며 전단철근이 없이 표면거칠기만에 의해 수평전단강도를 확보할 수 있었다. 콘크리트의 압축강도가 증가함에 따라 수평전단강도는 증가하였다. 또한 전단강도를 예측하기 위한 전단계수 결정식을 도출하였다.

Fiber-reinforced composite resin을 이용한 전치부 결손 수복 (REHABILITATION OF MISSING ANTERIOR TOOTH USING FIBER-REINFORCED COMPOSITE RESIN)

  • One of the many dilemmas that the clinical restorative dentist must face is treating young adolescent patient who prematurely loses his permanent teeth. Temporary prosthetic replacement can be achieved with removable denture, orthodontic band-wire fixed denture, adhesion bridge, composite resin splint with reinforcing material until the patients go through growth and development. But, all of these have limitations. Advances in restorative materials and reinforcement materials have made possible new techniques which are as much esthetic, conservative and more economic and stronger than adhesion brides. Two cases are being presented where gas-plasma treated, woven polyethylene fabric to reinforce composite resin was used to fabricate a temporary prosthetic restoration to replace a missing maxillary central incisor. This relatively noninvasive and basically reversible procedure allows the patient to decide the final restoration as he or she goes thorough maturation of the hard and soft tissues.

브래지어의 착용감 개선을 위한 착용실태 조사 (A Survey on the Wearing Conditions for the Improvement of Wearing Comfort of Brassiere)

  • This study was performed to analyze the wearing practice and the purchasing characteristics of brassieres in order to offer basic data to produce superior brassiere and to improve the wearing comfort. The questionnaire were 146 Korean college female students. For data analysis, descriptive analysis, crosstabs, factor analysis and one-way ANOVA were used. The results were as follows, first, most subjects didn't know the sizing system of brassiere and their own breast size. So the degree of satisfaction of wearing brassiere was low than subjects who knew their own breast size. And they replied that the most unsatisfaction factor was brassiere size. Second, when subjects decided to purchase a brassiere they considered size, design, color, cost, fabric and brand and so on. Among them size and design were considered the most important. Third, the subjects who wear brassiere all day long, they considered wearing comfort and cost rather than design and collar. Therefore, the markets with brassieres would be able to segmented based on consumers' characteristics. Firth, the subjects were dissatisified at size, the taking off wire and shape modification after washing. And they requested the development of various size, fabric and cost improvement and fittness of brassieres. These results imply that to improve the wearing comfort of brassiere, it is so important to produce and develop various types of size first of all. And consumers should know size system of brassiere and their own breast size.

Treatment of Quarter Crack Using Polymethyl Methacrylate Composites with a Reshaped Gluing Shoe in a Warmblood Foal

  • A 5 day-old Warmblood foal was presented with a quarter crack due to the dam accidentally stepping on his left hind foot. Physical examination revealed the vertical crack included the coronary band of the medial side of the left hind hoof (quarter crack) with the lower pastern avulsion wound. Different from adult horses, the foot of the 5 day-old foal lacked adequate hoof wall thickness for stainless steel wire insertion and hoof size for a reinforcing fabric to be applied. Therefore, the authors decided to stabilize the edges of the cracked wall only by the polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) composites without wiring and a reinforcing fabric application; and gluing a plastic shoe that was reshaped to protect the lower pastern and to spread pressure to other parts of the hoof when bearing weight. Disinfection and a supportive bandage were applied daily for 2 weeks. A month after the hoof crack accident, lameness had diminished. The quarter crack in this foal was treated successfully by the application of the composites three times with a reshaped gluing shoe, with approximately a month interval over the 4 months. After 4 months, it presented a successful functional recovery and needed no further treatment. When followed up 8 months after the accident, it revealed successful outcomes without hoof shape distortion and unbalanced hoof/limb growth.
