자율운항선박 원격제어 시스템 구현을 위한 실험선 데이터 수집현황

  • 자율운항선박 원격제어시스템 구현을 위해 첨단장비와 안전한 시설을 갖추고, 특수목적선 코드를 적용해 감항성능 및 안전성이 매우 우수한 9,196톤의 아시아 최대 실습선인 한나라호를 실험선으로 활용하고 있다. 현재 한나라호와 육상간 원격제어를 위한 H/W 시스템이 설치되었으며, 지난 n항차 동안 통신네트워크 즉, VSAT, LTE, WIFI를 통해 원격제어에 필요한 데이터를 송수신하였다. 본 연구에서는 송수신된 데이터 분석을 통해 한나라호와 육상 간의 원격제어 및 통신네트워크의 문제점 식별하고, 이에 대한 대안방안 등을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 자율운항선박 원격제어시스템 구현을 위해서는 통신네트워크의 활용은 필수적이다. 하지만 현재 VSAT, LTE, WIFI를 활용한 통신네트워크의 방해요인중 하나는 시간지연이다. 다양한 연구를 통해 시간지연의 측정과 감소를 위한 연구가 진행중에 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 시간지연에 따라 항해사의 제어형태를 파악하기 위한 준비단계로 해양사고 재결서를 통해 분석한 결과를 바탕으로 시나리오를 개발하여 시뮬레이션을 통한 선박조종성능 만족도 평가를 시행하였다. 향후 이를 바탕으로 시간지연에 따라 원격제어자에게 선박조종성능을 저해하는 요인을 식별하고 이를 제거 및 방지하기 위한 방법에 대해 제안하고자 한다.

  • 기존의 보안용 감시 녹화 시스템은 유선, Ethernet, WIFI 기술을 이용해서 서버 녹화 장비에 기록하는 방식을 많이 사용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 ZigBee 무선 통신과 센서 네트워크 기술을 기반으로 보안 감시 녹화 시스템을 설계하고 프로토타입을 구현하였다. 녹화 시스템은 사람의 출입이 있을 때만 동작하도록 인체 감지 센서와 무선 ZigBee 모듈이 탑재된 소형 모트, 감시 카메라, 녹화 및 웹을 통한 제어 기능이 가능하도록 웹서버가 포팅된 전용 임베디드 보드로 구성되고, 소프트웨어로는 카메라를 제어하는 기능, 녹화된 비디오를 관리하는 기능을 갖는 프로그램을 개발하였다.

  • QR 코드는 정부에서 지원하는 자전거 사업, wifi, 장비 및 공공기관 등의 관리 등 여러 분야에서 실생활과 밀접하게 쓰이고 있다. 하지만 QR 코드는 대체적으로 외부에 노출되어 있으며 이로 인한 훼손, 변조 등의 위험이 있다. 해당 연구에서는 위에 제시된 문제점을 개선하기 위해 플랫폼마다의 QR 코드의 규칙을 찾아내어 변조에 대한 위험을 줄이고 복구율을 높여 훼손에 대한 허용 범위 등의 개선을 기대한다.

A study on the wire reduction design and effect analysis for the train vehicle line (화물열차 분산제어시스템 개발에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we propose wired and wireless distributed control systems designed to improve the freight logistics efficiency and verify wired distributed control systems. The verification condition required that 50 cargo vehicles be connected and operated to travel 21 km from Busan Sinhang station to Jinlye Station at an average speed of about 100km/h. The verification results show that the traction output and braking output of the control and controlled cars are dispersed by the wired distributed control system. The application is expected to more than double the efficiency of the logistics compared to the existing freight transportation system. However, in the case of the wired distributed control system, cable installation and maintenance are difficult, and it is impossible to change the combination of freight vehicles. Through the verification of the wired distributed control system, the applicability of distributed control systems to freight vehicles in Korea was confirmed and the system was further developed to produce a wireless distributed control system. In order to apply the wireless distributed control system, a propagation environment analysis for the ISM band was performed in the testbed and, as a result, it was confirmed that Wifi technology using the ISM band could be utilized. In order to use the WDP (Wireless Distributed Power) devices newly installed in the target vehicles, the transmission / reception control signals associated with the propulsion / braking / total control devices are defined. In the case of wireless distributed control systems, the convenience of their application and operation is guaranteed, but reliability and emergency safety measures should because of the dependence of the control of the vehicle on radio signals.

Development of Composite Sensing Technology Using Internet of Things (IoT) for LID Facility Management (LID 시설 관리를 위한 사물인터넷(IoT) 활용 복합 센싱 적용기술 개발)

  • Various LIDs with natural water circulation function are applied to reduce urban environmental problems and environmental impact of development projects. However, excessive Infiltration and evaporation of LID facilities dry the LID internal soil, thus reducing plant and microbial activity and reducing environmental re duction ability. The purpose of this study was to develop a real-time measurement system with complex sensors to derive the management plan of LID facilities. The test of measurable sensors and Internet of Things (IoT) application was conducted in artificial wetlands shaped in acrylic boxes. The applied sensors were intended to be built at a low cost considering the distributed LID and were based on Arduino and Raspberry Pi, which are relatively inexpensive and commercialized. In addition, the goal was to develop complex sensor measurements to analyze the current state o f LID facilities and the effects of maintenance and abnormal weather conditions. Sensors are required to measure wind direction, wind speed, rainfall, carbon dioxide, Micro-dust, temperature and humidity, acidity, and location information in real time. Data collection devices, storage server programs, and operation programs for PC and mobile devices were developed to collect, transmit and check the results of measured data from applied sensors. The measurements obtained through each sensor are passed through the Wifi module to the management server and stored on the database server in real time. Analysis of the four-month measurement result values conducted in this study confirmed the stability and applicability of ICT technology application to LID facilities. Real-time measured values are found to be able to utilize big data to evaluate the functions of LID facilities and derive maintenance measures.

Parametric Study of Slow Wave Structure for Gain Enhancement and Sidelobe Suppression (이득 증가와 부엽 억제를 위한 저속파 구조의 설계변수에 대한 연구)

  • This paper proposes slow wave structure(SWS) utilized to increase antenna gain of printed dipole antenna(PDA) and to suppress sidelobe level simultaneously, and makes sure of electrical characteristics of the antenna according to parameter variations of components of the slow wave structure. The printed slow wave structure which is composed of a dielectric substrate and a metal rods array is located on excited direction of the PDA, affecting the radiation pattern and its intensity. Parasitic elements of the metal rods are arrayed in narrow consistent gap and have a tendency to gradually decrease in length. In this paper, array interval, element length, and taper angle are selected as the parameter of the parasitic element that effects radiation characteristics. Magnitude and phase distribution of the electrical field are observed and analyzed for each parameter variations. On the basis of these results, while the radiation pattern is analyzed, array methods of parasitic elements of the SWS for high gain characteristics are provided. The proposed antenna is designed to be operated at the Wifi band(5.15~5.85 GHz), and parameters of the parasitic element are optimized to maximize antenna gain and suppress sidelobe. Simulated and measured results of the fabricated antenna show that it has wide bandwidth, high efficiency, high gain, and low sidelobe level.

Analysis of Propagation Characteristics in 6, 10, and 17 GHz Semi-Basement Indoor Corridor Environment (6, 10, 17 GHz 반지하 실내 복도 환경의 전파 특성 분석)

  • This study measured and analyzed the propagation characteristics at frequencies 6, 10, and 17 GHz to discover the new propagation demands in a semi-basement indoor corridor environment for meeting the 4th industrial revolution requirements. The measured indoor environment is a straight corridor consisting of three lecture rooms and glass windows on the outside. The measurement scenario development and measurement system were constructed to match this environment. The transmitting antenna was fixed, and the frequency domain and time domain propagation characteristics were measured and analyzed in the line-of-sight environment based on the distance of the receiving antenna location. In the frequency domain, reliability was determined by the parameters of the floating intercept (FI) path loss model and an R-squared value of 0.5 or more. In the time domain, the root mean square (RMS) delay spread and the cumulative probability of K-factor were used to determine that 6 GHz had high propagation power and 17 GHz had low propagation power. These research results will be effective in providing ultra-connection and ultra-delay artificial intelligence services for WIFI 6, 5G, and future systems in a semi-basement indoor corridor environment.

  • Recently, most of people wants to have smart life for themselves like smart phones. In this paper, we propose the smart elevator based on the laser screen, speakers and air fresheners. Using this elevator, we could enjoy the various screen inside, and we could keep contacting with manager for wifi in the emergency situation. Also, the elevator could be operated with user's motion for Kinect. Finally, we did the survey for understanding preference of smart elevator. The grops are elevator manufacturing company, elevator distribution corporation and consumers, each group have 200 people.

A Modified Fuzzy logic Based DASH Adaptation Algorithm (변형된 퍼지 논리 기반의 DASH 적응 알고리즘)

  • 퍼지 논리를 기반으로 한 적응형 스트리밍 기법인 FDASH 적응 알고리즘은 빠르게 변하는 네트워크 상황에서 우수한 콘텐츠의 화질을 보장하면서 끊김 없는 서비스를 제공하는 특성을 보이지만 비디오의 화질이 자주 변하기 때문에 최고의 사용자 체감 품질 (QoE: Quality of Experience)을 제공하지 못 할 수도 있다. 본 논문에서는 제한된 버퍼 크기를 가지고 동일한 콘텐츠의 화질을 보장하면서도 비디오 화질의 변화 횟수를 줄여서 최적의 QoE를 제공할 수 있도록 하는 변환된 퍼지 논리 기반의 DASH 적응 알고리즘을 제안하고자 한다. 제안된 방식은 우선 퍼지 논리 제어부(FLC : Fuzzy Logic Controller)의 수정을 통하여 다음 세그먼트의 비트율에 대해 최적의 판단을 하도록 하였고, 세그먼트 비트율 필터링 모듈 (SBFM: Segment Bitrate Filtering Module)을 추가하여 비디오 화질의 변화 횟수가 최소화 될 수 있도록 하였으며, 스트리밍 서비스 시작 시 SBFM에 의해 일정시간 저화질의 비디오를 시청해야 하는 상황을 막기 위한 Start Mechanism을 추가하였고, 마지막으로 버퍼의 오버플로우를 방지하기 위해 Sleeping Mechanism을 추가하였다. NS-3를 이용한 네트워크 모의실험 결과를 통해 제안된 방식이 FDASH 방식에 비하여 제한된 버퍼크기 상황 하에서도 오버플로우가 발생하지 않으며 점대점(Point to Point) 상황에서는 거의 동일 화질 성능을 보이면서도 비디오 화질 변화 횟수를 50% 이상 줄일 수 있음과 일반 Wifi환경에서는 오히려 17.8%정도 더 뛰어난 비디오 화질 성능을 보이면서 비디오 화질변화 횟수 측면에서는 53.1%정도 줄일 수 있음을 보여준다.
