우리나라 성인의 식사패턴 변화 추세 - 1998, 2001, 2005년도 국민건강영양조사자료를 이용하여 - (Secular Trend in Dietary Patterns in a Korean Adult Population, Using the 1998, 2001, and 2005 Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey)

  • Koreans have undergone many changes in dietary patterns with economic growth. The purpose of this research was to examine changes in dietary patterns using data from the 1998, 2001, and 2005 Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. The study included 21,525 subjects (8,295 from 1998, 6,880 from 2001, and 6,350 from 2005) who were 20 years or older and who participated in a 24-h diet recall. The percentage energy intake from 22 food groups was calculated, and a cluster analysis was applied to identify dietary patterns. Two dietary patterns emerged; the first pattern was characterized by high intake of white rice, legumes, vegetables, kimchi, and seaweeds, the so-called "traditional" pattern (53%), whereas the other pattern was characterized by high intake of other grains, noodle dumplings, floured bread, pizza, hamburgers, cereals and snacks, potatoes, sugared sweets, nuts, fruits, meat·its products, eggs, fish, milk and dairy products, oils, beverages and seasoning, or the so-called "modified" pattern. The modified pattern comprised a higher proportion of younger aged, metropolitan residents with more education and higher incomes. However, the gender distribution was not significantly different. The modified pattern had a significantly higher intake of all nutrients except carbohydrates and had a higher proportion of energy from fat and protein. No association with a risk for metabolic syndrome was found for either dietary pattern. After age was standardized, the traditional pattern included 52% of the respondents in 1998, 54% in 2001, and 50% in 2005. However, the modified pattern was significantly more prevalent in the younger age group (20-29 yr), whereas the traditional pattern increased significantly in the older age group (${\geq}$ 65 yr). In conclusion, a secular trend was found for dietary pattern by age group, suggesting that it is necessary to monitor the changes in dietary pattern by age group and to develop appropriate dietary education and guidelines.

  • 본(本) 연구는 간척지(干拓地)를 밭으로 이용(利用)할 경우(境遇) 토양중(土壤中)의 염이동(鹽移動) 상태(狀態)를 구명(究明)하기 위(爲)해 계화도(界火島) 간척지(干拓地) 토양(土壤)((문포통(文浦統):세사양토(細砂壞土))에서 실시(實施)한 결과(結果) 다음과 같다. 1. 지하수(地下水)의 양(陽)이온함량(含量) 변화(變化)는 경시적(經時的)으로 증가(增加)를 보였으나 지표수(地表水)의 경우(境遇)는 변화(變化)가 심(甚)하였고 $Na^+$$M^{2+}$에 비(比)해 $K^+$의 함량(含量)이 적었다. 2. 강우차단(降雨遮斷) 조건시(條件時) 저염농도(低鹽濃度) 토양(土壞)에서는 수분함량(水分含量)이 높은 토양(士壞)에서 염분함량(鹽分含量)이 높았으나, 고염농도(高鹽濃度) 토양(土壞)은 큰 차이가 없었다. 3. 강우차단(降雨遮斷) 조건(條件)에서 토양중(土壤中) 유효인산함량(有效憐酸嚴含) 저염농도(低鹽濃度) 토양(土壞)에 비(比)해 고염농도(高鹽濃度) 토양(土壞)에서 많았다. 4. 자연강우(自然降雨) 조건(條件)에서는 토양수분(士壞水分) 함량(含量)과 유효인산함량(有效憐酸含量) 간(間)에 유의성(有意性)있는 정(正)의 상관(相關)을 보인 반면(反面), 강우차단(降雨遮斷) 조건(條件)의 표토(表土)에 있어서는 유의성(有意性)이 인정(認定)되지 않았다. 5. 토양(土壞) 염농도(鹽濃度), SAR 그리고 $Cl^-$, $SO_4{^{2-}}$ 등(等) 토양(土壞) 음(陰)이온의 상승(上昇)은 흑색(黑色)Vinyl>백색(白色)Vinyl>생고(生藁)〉무처리순(無處理|順)으로 억제(抑制) 되었다.

국내 오디균핵병의 발생 양상 (Aspects of Popcorn Disease Occurrence on Mulberry Fruits in Korea)

  • 2005년부터 2007년까지 국내 여러 지역에서 오디균핵병 발생을 조사하였다. 병든 과실은 회백색으로 변색되었고, 지상부로 떨어진 후 월동기간 동안 딱딱하고 검은색 균핵으로 변하였다. 뽕나무포장 내 월동균핵으로부터 형성된 자낭반은 5월 상순에 관찰되었으며, 컵 또는 곤봉모양의 두 가지 형태의 자낭반이 형성되었다. 컵 모양의 자낭반을 가진 균은 Ciboria shiraiana, 곤봉모양의 자낭반을 가진 균은 Scleromitrula shiraiana로 동정되었다. 조사된 포장에서 C. shiraiana와 S. shiraiana는 약 6:4의 비율로 발생하였다. 본 병의 발생은 조사년도, 조사지역 및 품종에 따라 차이가 있었다. 뽕나무포장에서 품종간 병 발생을 조사한 결과, 백하형상, 다호조생, 하수상, 재래종 및 사원뽕 22는 본 병에 대해 저항성이었으며, 청일뽕, 대성뽕, 국상20호 및 터키-D는 다소 감수성이었고, 카테네오, 모레지 및 상과는 매우 감수성이었다. 비닐이나 부직포로 지표면을 피복한 포장에서는 피복하지 않은 포장에 비해 병 발생이 훨씬 낮았다. 볏짚으로 피복된 포장에서의 병 발생은 피복하지 않은 포장과 유사하였다.

Ensiling Techniques for Shrimp By-Products and their Nutritive Value for Pigs

  • An experiment was performed to evaluate different methods for preserving shrimp by-products and to determine their chemical composition. In the first experiment three ratios of shrimp by-product (SBP) to molasses (6:1, 4:1 and 3:1, wet weight), and to cassava root meal (3:1, 2:1 and 1:1, wet weight of shrimp by-product and air-dry weight of cassava root meal) were investigated. The pH of the SBP ensiled with molasses at a ratio of 3:1, and with cassava root meal at a ratio of 1:1, decreased during the first week to below 4.5 and remained low up to day 56 of ensiling, whereas the pH of the mixtures with higher ratios of SBP remained above 7.0, and the material deteriorated rapidly. The dry matter decreased initially in all treatments but then increased slightly from day 28 in the treatment where shrimp by-product was ensiled with cassava root meal at a ratio of 1:1. The crude protein (CP) and ammonia-N $(NH_3-N)$ contents of the preserved shrimp by-product material ensiled with molasses at a ratio of 3:1 increased significantly one week after ensiling. The CP content then remained constant, while the $NH_3-N$ concentration continued to increase up to 56 days after ensiling. When SBP was ensiled with cassava root meal at a ratio of 1:1 the CP content of the silage increased significantly up to 21 days after ensiling and then decreased back to the original level after 56 days, whereas $NH_3-N$ increased markedly up to 14 days and then remained fairly constant up to 56 days. However, the $NH_3-N$ content was significantly higher when SBP was ensiled with cassava root meal than with molasses. A balance experiment was carried out, arranged as a double Latin-square and including 6 F1 (Large White ${\times}$ Mong Cai) castrates fed randomly one of three diets based on cassava root meal, rice bran, and fish meal (FM) or shrimp by-product ensiled with molasses (SBEMO) or with cassava root meal (SBECA) as the main protein source. Apparent organic matter and CP digestibilities were significantly (p<0.001) higher for the fish meal diet than for the two shrimp by-product diets, although CP digestibility in SBEMO and SBECA was similar (p>0.05). N-retention was significantly higher for the fish meal diet than for the SBEMO diet, which in turn was significantly higher than for the SBECA diet (p<0.01). It can be concluded that shrimp by-product can be preserved by ensiling with molasses at a ratio of 3:1 or with cassava root meal at a ratio of 1:1. Nutrient digestibility and N-retention of diets based on these shrimp by-product silages were lower than for similar diets based on fish meal, probably due to their high chitin content and inferior amino acid balance.

대구시의 도시성장과 신시가지 지역 특성에 관한 연구(II) - 상인 및 시지 신시가지의 사례를 중심으로 - (The Natures of Urban Growth and Newly Developed Districts of Taegu(II) - The Case of Newly Developed Districts of Sangin and Siji -)

  • 본 연구는 대구시의 상인 및 시지신시가지를 사례로 토지이용 교통 등 공간적 특성과 주민의 거주 특성을 실증적으로 조사하여 분석한 것이다. 신시가지 지역은 개발전 주로 전, 답으로 구성되어 있었으나, 개발 후 고밀주거지를 형성하게 되었다. 또한 상업 서비스 기능이 급속히 발달했는데, 상인지구는 식당업, 근린생활서비스, 주점 및 다과점등의 서비스계가 발달되었으며, 시지지구는 근린생활서비스 식당업, 학원, 근린생활소매업 등의 순으로 분포비율이 높다. 대중교통은 대체로 도심지향적이였고, 외곽의 신시가지들을 연결하는 교통편은 부족하였다. 신시가지 주민은 비교적 40대${\sim}$50대, 화이트칼라 종사자가 많았으며, 학력수준이 비교적 높고, 소득 또한 중산층 이상을 유지하고 있었다. 주민의 고향은 대체로 신시가지와 가까운 지역의 비율이 높았다. 이주결정에 작용한 입지적 요인은, 상인지구는 교통, 자연환경, 직장, 시지지군는 자연환경, 학군 및 직장 요인이 대표적인 것으로 분석되었다. 상인은 관리비나 학군문제, 시지는 직장거리, 관리비 및 교통문제의 순으로 불편한 것으로 조사되었다.

방사성 동위원소 $^{32}P$를 이용한 멸구류에 대한 품종저항성 검정방법에 관한 연구 (II) (Screening method of varietal resistance to planthoppers labeled with radioisotope $^{32}P$ (II))

  • 멸구류에 대한 수도품종 저항성 검정방법을 개발하고저 방사성 동위원소 $^{32}P$를 이용하여 본 시험을 수행하였다. 전편에서 얻어진 결과를 활용하여 멸구별, 멸구충태별, 접종시간별 벼멸구 흡즙량 차이와 품종별 벼멸구 흡즙량을 조사한 바 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 가. 벼멸구, 흰등멸구, 애멸구 순으로 $^{32}P$ 흡즙량이 많았으며 암컷이 숫컷보다 공시멸구류 모두 흡즙량이 많았다. 나. 벼멸구의 각태별 흡즙량은 성충, 5령충, 성충), 4령 순으로 많았으며 충접종시간은 접종 24시간$\~$48시간에서는 일정한 흡즙령을 나타냈다. 다. 벼멸구의 벼품종별 흡즙량은 저항성 품종인 밀양 47호에서는 839 CPM인 반면 감수성 품종인 TN 1에서는 88,603 CPM을 나타 내었다. 따라서 본시험에서의 검정방법과 유묘집단검정방법과는 일치하였다.

집합페로몬 트랩의 색깔, 설치높이 및 장소에 따른 노린재류의 유인효과 (Attractiveness of Stink Bugs to Color, Height and Location of Aggregation Pheromone Trap)

  • 집합페로몬 트랩의 색깔, 설치높이 및 장소에 따른 노린재류 유인효과를 구명하였다. 톱다리개미허리노린재는 황색트랩에 가장 많이 유인되었으며, 다음은 백색>흑색>녹색>청색>갈색의 순 이었다. 트랩설치높이에 따른 톱다리개미허리노린재와 가로줄노린재의 유인은 지상 80 cm 높이에서 성별에 관계없이 가장 많았으며, 성별간에는 톱다리개미허리노린재는 40 및 80 cm에서 암컷이 수컷보다 많이 유인되었으나, 120 및 160 cm에서 유의한 차이가 없었다. 가로줄노린재는 40 및 80 cm에서 암컷이 수컷보다 많이 유인되는 경향이었으나, 120 및 160 cm에서는 오히려 수컷이 암컷보다 약간 많이 유인되는 경향이었다. 콩 및 들깨 재배포장에서 트랩설치 위치에 따른 톱다리개미허리노린재의 유인은 들깨포장에서 가장 많았으며, 콩포장과 콩들깨의 경계지점에서는 차이가 없었다. 또한 콩포장, 약용작물포장 및 단감원에서 톱다리개미허리노린재의 유인효과는 단감원에서 가장 높았으며, 콩 및 약용작물포장간에는 유의한 차이가 없었다.

HPLC-UVD를 이용한 농산물 중 pyrifluquinazon 잔류시험법 개발 및 검증 (Development and validation of analytical methods for pyrifluquinazon residues determination on agricultural commodities by HPLC-UVD)

  • Pyrifluquinazon은 quinazoline 계통의 살충제로 진딧물, 흰파리 등 해충에 대해 음식섭취를 조절하는 신경계 또는 내분비계에 작용하여 섭식행동을 제어하고 또한 식물조직에 추가적 손상을 방지, 식물체 바이러스 확산을 막는 역할을 한다. 국내에는 2012년 사과와 배에 신규 사용등록되어 식품의약품안전처에서 잔류허용기준을 설정하였다. 본 농약은 분자량이 464.3으로 큰 편이며, 증기압이 낮아 분석을 위한 기기로 HPLC-UVD를 선택하여 잔류허용기준 준수여부 확인을 위한 시헙법을 확립하였다. 추출용매는 간섭물질의 추출이 비교적 적은 acetonitrile을 사용하였으며, pyrifluquinazon의 Log $P_{ow}$값이 3.12로 극성에 가까운 물리화학적 특성을 감안하여 액-액 분배를 위한 용매로 dichloromethane을 사용하였다. 간섭물질 제거를 위한 clean-up과정에서는 silica 카트리지를 사용하였고, acetone으로 용출하여 최적의 정제조건을 확립하였다. 분석 결과 회수율은 70~120%로 나타났으며, 분석오차는 10% 미만, 실험실간 편차 ($RSD_R$(%)) > 0.01 mg/kg, ${\leq}$0.1 mg/kg 범위에서 3.40~15.4%로 코덱스 가이드라인 기준에 적합함을 확인 하였다. 또한 본 시험법의 재현성 및 선택성을 추가로 확보할 수 있도록 LC-MS를 통한 정성시험법을 추가로 확립하였다. 본 시험법은 신규 등록된 pyrifluquinazon 분석을 위한 신속 정확한 공정 시험법으로 식품공전에 등재되어 활용되고 있다.

지역에 따른 총지방 및 포화지방산의 섭취 수준, 급원식품, 대사질환과의 관련성 비교: 2016 ~ 2019년 국민건강영양조사 자료를 활용하여 (Regional Differences in Dietary Total Fat and Saturated Fatty Acid Intake and Their Associations with Metabolic Diseases among Korean Adults: Using the 2016~2019 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys)

  • Objectives: This study examined regional differences in the intake of dietary total fat and saturated fatty acid (SFA) and their food sources among Korean adults. We also investigated the associations of SFA intake with metabolic diseases by region. Methods: This study included 13,926 adults (≥ 19y) who participated in the 2016 ~ 2019 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys. The regions were divided into urban and rural areas according to the administrative districts where the participants lived. Using dietary data obtained from a 24-h recall, intake of total fat and SFA and their food sources were assessed by region. Metabolic diseases included obesity, abdominal obesity, and elevated total cholesterol and their association with SFA intake by region were examined using multiple logistic regression. Results: Of the participants, 19.6% lived in rural areas. In urban areas, the total fat and SFA intakes were higher than in rural areas: 21.2% of energy (%E) came from total fat and 6.9%E from SFA in urban areas, whereas 18.0%E came from total fat and 5.8%E from SFA in rural areas. The percentage of participants who exceeded the dietary reference intakes for total fat and SFA in urban areas was 16.5% and 41.9%, respectively, but 43.4% of participants in rural areas showed lower intake levels for total fat compared to the reference level. Young adults did not show regional differences in fat intake, and the percentage of subjects who exceeded the reference for SFA was high both in urban (58.5%) and rural (55.7%) areas. Among middle-aged and older adults, intake of fatty acids except for n-3 fatty acid was significantly higher in urban areas than in rural areas. About 69% of older adults in rural areas showed a lower intake of total fat compared to the reference level. The food sources for total fat and SFA were meat, soybean oil, eggs, and milk in both areas. The intake of fat from eggs, milk, mayonnaise, and bread was higher in urban areas, but the intake of fat from white rice and coffee mix was higher in rural areas. The SFA intake was positively associated with elevated serum total cholesterol in urban areas (4th quartile vs. 1st quartile, OR: 1.22, 95% CI: 1.06-1.40, P for trend: 0.043), but not in rural areas. Conclusions: Regional differences in total fat and SFA intakes and their food sources were observed among Korean adults. Our findings may help plan nutritional strategies to ameliorate regional health disparities.

Adaptability Test on Low Organic Soil and Selection of Varieties of Soybean Cultivars

  • Food productivity in North Korea is about 50% lower than in South Korea. In order to increase the productivity of major crops, it is necessary to develop early maturing, disease resistance, and high-yielding varieties and apply them early. Since the late 1990s, North Korea has been actively developing potatoes, rice and com as major food crops, and soybeans are considered important as a protein-supplying crop. Domestic cultivated varieties, which are expected to be most adaptable eco-climatologically, are mainly selected from soil with high nutrient soil. It is necessary to test separately for adaptability in low organic soil. So it is very necessary to apply technology to improve soil improvement through rotational crop selection in the middle and long-term. Therefore, this study was conducted to test the adaptability to low organic soils of domestic cultivars and to select varieties. In 2021 there are twenty two (22) varieties of soybeans were grown in low organic soil at the field of Chungbuk National University. This year twenty two (22) varieties of soybeans were also grown in low organic soil at the field of Chungbuk National University. Sowing was done on June 10, the planting distance was 70cm × 15cm, after opening the cotyledons fully, the soybeans were thinned and leaving two plants per hole. In addition, various types of growth characteristics and quantitative components were investigated to evaluate the adaptability to low organic soil of domestic varieties. This study was conducted to investigate the growth characteristics and quantitative components of soybean varieties grown in low organic soil. The flowering period of 22 varieties of soybeans was about 14 days from July 22 to August 4. The flowers of the beans were white, purple, light purple and the pubescence color was gray and brown where most of them were gray. The highest plant height was up to 130.4 cm and lowest was 20.3 cm, highest stem length was up to 119.5 cm and lowest was 15.3 cm. Highest first pod height (FPH) was up to 34.0 cm and lowest was 3.0 cm. Highest stem diameter was up to 15.76mm and lowest was 1.76 mm. Number of main stem nodes was up to 19 and at least 1. Number of branch was up to 10 and at least 0. The number of pod per plant was up to 121. Bacterial pustule has been spread in soybean field.
