  • World Wide Web (WWW)의 지속적인 성장으로 인해 Web Service의 Response Time을 수집하는 방식에 관한 연구가 진행되고 있다.

  • In this paper, we have developed the application of a remote multi-lingual video guide that allows interaction with Set Top Box of a thin client by using the WebRTC, an web browser-based communication method. A server accesses a web camera in conjunction with digital information display of a thin client connected remotely and is exchanged guide information with user. This server can be played in thin client STB using virtualization based the high-quality video compression technology. Further, it is not dependent on the performance of the STB and provides a video guide remotely.

  • In this paper we implement a robot system consisted of mobile tole robot to be controlled by client through web browser Newly Internet is connected to all network of the whole world. If client uses the network like this, client can control direction of a robot that is selected in free place. In this study, system is embodied in using robot that can move freely in plan place and cod camera that can grab robot image. System transmit image data of cod camera to java server that is placed in web server of internet that is used by client. Java server display incoming data in home page using java applet. Then web browser offer robot image to client and client send remote control signal to robot. Control signal is transmitted to robot by java server and robot receiving signal moves toward direction wanted by client.

  • Smart client is a term describing an application environment which delivers applications over a web HTTP connection and does not require installation and/or updates. The term "Smart Client" is meant to refer to simultaneously capturing the benefits of a "thin client" (zero-install, auto-update) and a "fat client" (high performance, high productivity). A "Smart Client" application can be created in several very different technologies. Over the past few years, ITS has started to move towards smart clients, also called rich clients. The trend is a move from traditional client/server architecture to a Web-based model. More similar to a fat client vs. a thin client, smart clients are Internet-connected devices that allows a user's local applications to interact with server-based applications through the use of Web services. Smart Client applications in BIT bridge the gap between web applications and desktop applications. They provide the benefits of a web applicationwhile still providing the snappy look and feel inherent to desktop applications.

  • Modeling the reliability of distributed systems requires a good understanding the reliability of the components. For thousands of web users, competitiveness in web services means a successful presence on the web. Failure rates for the presence of a web site are considered on client sides errors using RFC2068. Data were collected from some host via the internet.

  • In order to connect web services, clients generally should use heavy frameworks such as .Net framework and Java run-time environment, which require high performance hardware resources like a personal computer. Therefore, it is impossible for sensor nodes to handle web services due to their limited resources. In this paper, a client agent framework is proposed for dynamically connecting web services in the client node with limited resources. A client agent, which is managed by the framework in other server, has full capability for connecting web services, while a real client has a simple connection module with the client agent. In this framework, a client agent is dynamically generated using the WSDL in the web service server. By using the framework, sensor nodes or mobile devices can enhance their functionalities and services by accessing web services with minimum resources.

  • We implement the PBSM (Protocol-Based Security Module) system which guarantees the secure data transmission under web circumstances. There are two modules to implement for the PBSM architecture. One is Web Server Security Module (WSSM) which is working on a web server, the other is the Winsock Client Security Module (WSCSM) which is working on a client. The WSCSM security module decrypts the encrypted HTML document that is received from the security web server The decrypted HTML document is displayed on the screen of a client. The WSSM module contains the encryption part for HTML file and the decryption part for CGI (Common Gateway Interface). We also implement the proposed idea at the web system.

  • This paper describes how to implement reporting system for web-based information system. Reporting system is the S/W module that user is able to produce output of data in formal format. In Client/Server system, remote user can make formal output with client-side reporting component module. This client reporting component is usually system dependent. With web based information system, intranet, evolving, this client/server system need to he migrated to web-based reporting system. Reporting system component support multi-processing and real-time text/graphic output of server data. Ant Client can save or pint web page of client module. Especially, for real test its function and user interface, this reporting component is adopted in real network management system. The result shows that this reporting system component is very smart and excellent for real time web based monitoring system.

  • A user desktop service can be made available on internet or local area network with the help of virtualization and cloud technologies. The service is usually called a virtual desktop or a desktop cloud. However, a user interface is limited to I/O capabilities of a user's mobile terminal. In order to enhance a user interface on a remote virtual desktop, it is important to connect full-featured I/O devices which are founded locally. Our previous work called SoD (System-on- Demand) has proposed a technique to associate local full-featured I/O devices with a remote virtual desktop in Xen. On the technique, it is required to install a SoD client agent in a user's mobile terminal for connecting a remote virtual desktop. In this paper, we propose a new framework called Web-SoD that does not require any explicit installation to make SoD service available. The SoD client agent is provided by the web technology so that the agent can be installed transparently, and the platform independency is also achieved. Due to insufficient network socket performance of current web technologies, we extend Native Client (NaCl) proposed by Google to support a network functionality by modifying a NaCl library and a service runtime. With conducted experiment, we show that the network extension supports a full socket functionality over the compromised overhead on the web environment.
