웹기반 사례중심 심폐응급간호 학습 프로그램 개발 (Development of Web-based Learning Program on Cardiopulmonary Emergency Care Focused on Clinical Scenarios)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to develop a Web-based learning program on cardiopulmonary emergency care for clinical nurses and to evaluate learners' responses. Methods: Based on the assessment of learning needs of clinical nurses, a total of three self-directed learning modules were developed according to the procedure of the ADDIE (assessment, design, development, implementation, & evaluation) model. Results: Each learning module included the emergency treatments and drugs used in the real patients' situations with cardiopulmonary crisis, which had been adopted from the emergency department of a C University hospital located in G-city. Real video clips for endotracheal intubation and ACLS (advanced cardiac life support) were developed with the help of the staff of the department of emergency medicine using a human simulator, $SimMan^{(R)}$. The program published on the Web was evaluated by 20 clinical nurses who are working in the emergency department and wards of a C-University hospital. About 80% of the respondents were satisfied with the program contents, design, and learning strategy. Conclusions: Web-based learning programs on cardiopulmonary emergency care are needed for clinical nurses as educational material for staff education to increase their knowledge for making immediate clinical decisions and in giving skilled care in emergency situations.

가치통합 의사결정모델을 이용한 간호학생 대상 웹기반 환자권리교육 시뮬레이션 프로그램 개발 및 평가 (Development and Evaluation of a Web-based Simulation Program on Patient Rights Education using Integrated Decision Making Model for Nurse Students)

  • Purpose: This study was designed to develop and evaluate the a web-based simulation program on patient rights education using integrated decision making model into values clarification for nurse students. Methods: The program was designed based on the Aless & Trollip model and Ford, Trygstad-Durland & Nelms's decision model. Focus groups interviews, surveys on learning needs for patient rights, and specialist interviews were used to develop for simulation scenarios and decision making modules. The simulation program was evaluated between May, 2011 and April, 2012 by 30 student nurses using an application of the web-based program evaluation tools by Chung. Results: Simulation content was composed of two scenarios on patient rights: the rights of patients with HIV and the rights of psychiatric patients. It was composed of two decision making modules which were established for value clarifications, behavioral objective formations, problems identifications, option generations, alternatives analysis, and decision evaluations. The simulation program was composed of screens for teacher and learner. The program was positively evaluated with a mean score of $3.14{\pm}0.33$. Conclusion: These study results make an important contribution to the application of educational simulation programs for nurse students' behavior and their decision making ability in protecting the patient rights.

웹기반의 간호교육 프로그램 개발 및 평가;의학용어를 중심으로 (The Development and Evaluation of Web-based Nursing Educational Program;Focused on the Medical Terminology)

  • Purpose: The purposed of this study was to develop and evaluate a Web-based for medical terminology educational program. Method: For the development of this program, the NBISD model was applied as a basic model and WBI ID Process Action model was applied. It was executed for 15 weeks along with off-line lectures. After the operation of this program to 210 nursing students, learners' responses were analyzed twice(at 5th week and 15th week). Result: The satisfaction with this program was slightly above the center point. But the structure of system and composition of design were high score. The results of the final evaluation were more positive than those of the interim one. This program have the advantage of easy accessibility and easy understandability with picture and testing. Conclusions: This study proved the importance of the suitability of learning contents and learning form in developing WBI programs and showed possibility for applying WBI to medical terminology. In order to enhance the effects of Web-based medical terminology educational program for, it is necessary to perform analytic comparison with the effect of WBI based on self-directed learning.

  • 많은 컴퓨터 학습 프로그램이 개발되었지만 질은 오히려 떨어지고 있다는 주장이 제기되고 있다. 이러한 문제의 주된 원인 중에 하나는 프로그램의 질을 높일 적절한 평가 방법들을 적용하지 않았기 때문이라는 주장이 있다. 이 글에서는 이러한 질 문제를 해결하면서 컴퓨터 학습 프로그램의 효과성을 높일 수 있는 다양한 평가 방법들을 소개하고자 한다. 평가 방법에는 전문가 1인에 의한 평가 방법, 전문가 팀에 의한 평가 방법, 학습자 1인에 의한 평가 방법, 학습자 소집단에 의한 평가 방법, 전문가와 학습자 공동 평가 방법, 전문가와 학습자 참여 설계, 개발, 평가 방법, 포커스 집단 활용 방법이 있다. 프로그램을 적용할 상황, 시간과 비용, 학습 대상에 따라 적절한 평가 방법을 적용하면 프로그램의 효과성을 높일 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

웹 2.0기반의 '팟캐스트' 정보통신기술을 이용한 미국의 도서관서비스에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Library Services by 'Podcast' Information Communication Technology Based on Web 2.0 in USA)

  • 이 연구는 웹 2.0기반의 웹서비스 가운데 하나인 팟캐스트에 대한 소개와 팟캐스트를 활용한 선행연구를 토대로 실제 도서관서비스를 실시하고 있는 미국의 대학도서관과 공공도서관들의 팟캐스트 프로그램들을 조사 분석함으로써 국내 팟캐스트 서비스 적용방향을 모색하는 것이다. 분석결과, 팟캐스트를 적용한 공공도서관 프로그램에는 도서관 및 도서관행사 안내, 도서관이용교육, 지역사회소식, 교양강의, 스토리텔링을 통한 독서교육, 신간안내, 도서관장서 소개, 정보통신교육 등이 주류를 이루고 있었고 대학도서관의 프로그램에는 도서관이용교육, 도서관행사안내, 신간안내, 주제전문사서소개, 특강, 세미나, 포럼, 강의 등에 관한 프로그램들이 주를 이루고 있었다. 이를 바탕으로 국내도서관에서 팟캐스트 서비스를 위한 대학도서관과 공공도서관의 적용방향을 제시하였다. 국내 대학도서관과 공공도서관에서 팟캐스트 서비스를 적용할 경우 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Comparative Study on the Educational Use of Home Robots for Children

  • Human-Robot Interaction (HRI), based on already well-researched Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), has been under vigorous scrutiny since recent developments in robot technology. Robots may be more successful in establishing common ground in project-based education or foreign language learning for children than in traditional media. Backed by its strong IT environment and advances in robot technology, Korea has developed the world's first available e-Learning home robot. This has demonstrated the potential for robots to be used as a new educational media - robot-learning, referred to as 'r-Learning'. Robot technology is expected to become more interactive and user-friendly than computers. Also, robots can exhibit various forms of communication such as gestures, motions and facial expressions. This study compared the effects of non-computer based (NCB) media (using a book with audiotape) and Web-Based Instruction (WBI), with the effects of Home Robot-Assisted Learning (HRL) for children. The robot gestured and spoke in English, and children could touch its monitor if it did not recognize their voice command. Compared to other learning programs, the HRL was superior in promoting and improving children's concentration, interest, and academic achievement. In addition, the children felt that a home robot was friendlier than other types of instructional media. The HRL group had longer concentration spans than the other groups, and the p-value demonstrated a significant difference in concentration among the groups. In regard to the children's interest in learning, the HRL group showed the highest level of interest, the NCB group and the WBI group came next in order. Also, academic achievement was the highest in the HRL group, followed by the WBI group and the NCB group respectively. However, a significant difference was also found in the children's academic achievement among the groups. These results suggest that home robots are more effective as regards children's learning concentration, learning interest and academic achievement than other types of instructional media (such as: books with audiotape and WBI) for English as a foreign language.

실기 중심 의상디자인 교과 원격교육 도입방안 연구 - 패션일러스트레이션 교육을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Distance Learning Education for Fashion Illustration)

  • Distance Learning Education has been adopted as an alternative educational method to actively face the changing educational field. Fashion design education essentially requires not only a theoretical but also a practical process in which feedback comes through personal interactions between an instructor and a student. Hence, the existing WBI system exemplifies its limitations by applying only a one-way methodology that limit interactions based only on the theoretical texts. The objective of this study was to reveal the effects of an originally designed Distance Education program factoring in a teaching-learning methodology that addresses the practical demands of a fashion design program. So It analyzed the pre-existing conditions through a questionnaire survey of 472 students and 60 fashion design instructors to determine how the traditional fashion design education is different from other programs and which method is being applied. then, It designed and applied an original web-based distance educational system specifically incorporating the needs of the fashion design curriculum based on the data collected from the survey questionnaire.

  • 오늘날 인터넷의 일상적인 사용은 웹의 발달을 가져온 것으로 인식되고 있다. 학습도구로서 웹을 사용한 것을 WBI라 한다. WBI의 구축은 교육 현장에 현재 많은 영향을 미치고 있다. 그러나 사이버 공간에서 수많은 WBI 프로그램을 사용할 때 학습자들에 많은 문제점들이 도출되고 있다. 거의 모든 프로그램 사용 시 교사와 학생간의 상호 작용이 충분하지 못하며 필요한 학습자료들을 찾을 때 그들 자료들이 충분하게 마련되어 있지 않다. 학습 현장에서 교사들이 WBI 프로그램을 고안하고 구축하는 것은 매우 어려운 일이다. 그러나 상호 작용하는 WBI 프로그램의 고안과 구축은 그보다는 쉬운 일이다. 그러므로 만약 학생들과 친근한 교사들이 웹 페이지를, 만들어 사이버 공간에 제공한다면, 학생들은 쉽게 사이버 공간에서 접속할 수 있을 것이다. 그들은 e-메일, 여론 광장 또는 채팅을 사용할 수 있을 것이다. 사이버 공간은 학교 생활에서 불충분한 상호관계를 마련하게 될 것이다. 그러나, 이 프로그램은 모든 학생들이 필요한 적절한 장치들을 가지고 있어야 때문에, 이를 마련하지 못하는 학습자에게는 또 다른 형태의 포기를 가져오게 될 것이다. 이렇기 때문에 이 문제는 정부가 이러한 모든 필요한 장치들을 값싸게 보급하고 적절한 프로그램들을 공급할 때 풀릴 수 있다고 사료된다.

인간수행공학을 적용한 도서관활용수업의 저해요인 분석 연구 (Analysis on Library-Aided Instruction's Obstacle Factors based on Human Performance Technology Model)

  • 본 연구는 초 중등학교 교육현장에서 실시되고 있는 도서관활용수업이 어떠한 저해요인에 의해 활성화되지 않는지 원인을 분석하여 해소방안을 제시하기 위한 연구로 첫째, 도서관활용수업방법의 실증적 개선을 위한 평가 분석의 모형을 인간수행공학모형을 기반으로 재구성하였으며 둘째, 도서관활용수업에 관한 기존 연구의 이론적 토대를 기초로 실태를 파악하고 도서관활용수업의 바람직한 수행목표를 도출하였으며 셋째, 실제 연구대상학교를 중심으로 재구성된 인간수행 공학모형을 적용하여 도서관활용수업을 저해하는 요인을 도출하고 분석기법에 따라 수행요인을 분류하여 저해요인의 해소방안을 제시하였다. 연구의 결과 제시된 도서관활용수업 저해요인의 해소방안으로는 도서관활용수업에 대한 명확한 기대치 제공과 학습목표의 정확한 기술, 도서관활용수업 지원체제 구축, 교사들의 외적 동기 유발 시스템 개발, 다양한 도서관활용수업 프로그램 개발, 그리고 학교장과 일선 교사들의 도서관활용수업에 대한 인식전환 등으로 요약할 수 있으며 학교도서관매체센터가 도서관활용수업의 활성화로 인해 학교교육의 핵심적 역할을 수행할 수 있기를 기대한다.

청소년의 약물남용예방을 위한 웹 활용 학습 프로그램 개발 및 효과 (The Development and Effects of WEB Instruction Programs for Drug Abuse Prevention in Korean Adolescents)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop, through the integration of instructional theory, a Courseware and to investigate the effectiveness of a web-based computer assisted instruction(WBI) program for preventing drug abuse, a serious problem for youth problem. During the first stage of this study done "Drug Abuse Prevention" Courseware was developed based on, Gagn & Brigg's instructional design theory, Keller's ARCS theory and the CAI model of Hannafin & Peck. For the second stage, the courseware was used to provide education for students adolescents in drug abuse prevention. This study used an quasi-experimental, one-group pretest-posttest design with a convenience sample of 36 male high school students who were at one high school located in Seoul. Data were collected using self-reported questionnaires which included a learning achievement tool, the Keller's IMMS (Instructional Material Motivation Survey), on attitudes to drug use, and on responses to the WBI instruction. Prior to the experiment, the "drug abuse prevention" learning method and the procedures of the study were explained to the students, and then the learning achievement of the subjects was measured as a pretest. The students were then given 2 weeks WBI utilizing the courseware. A post-test which included the pre-test learning achievement questionnaire and a survey of learning motivation and attitudes toward drug were given two weeks after the education was completed. The data analysis was done using SPSS/PC. Paired t-test was used to analyze the differences between the pre-test and post-test scores for learning achievement. The results of the analysis are as follows: There were significant differences in learning achievement between the pre-test and post-test(t=-18.62, p=0.000). The hypothesis, that learning achievement will be higher, after the class has used the courseware, than before was supported. The scores for learning motivation and attitudes toward drugs were also higher than the results of existing studies. In conclusion, this study suggests that WBI is an effective learning method in the prevention of drug abuse for adolescents as it can be used for self-learning and repeated learning as assisted instruction. Recommendation would be given that further research needs to be develped in the courseware by cognitive learning style and by multimedia courseware and virtual reality system.
