The purpose of this study is to verify the technical possibilities and advantages of web GIS system, and its practical implementation for space management and information service accessible from anywhere. at anytime using ArcIMS on behalf of university facility management. It is found that the integration of GIS and web technology, in terms of its administrative and public service capabilities, carries many advantages in the aspects of time, cost, and effort saving. Finally, practical system architecture is proposed with its database structuring method for space management of university facility.

With the development of digital satellite communication technology and the widespread use of smart devices, the demand for data communication in the maritime ship has increased. Recently, the communication between the maritime ship and the land is based on Inmarsat satellite service. The Inmarsat provides telephone, fax, data and telex service etc. However, since the satellite is payper-seconds billing service, the transmission of whole web contents to the maritime ship through the satellite causes high cost. In this paper, we propose web browsing system architecture that reduces the data traffic on the satellite link and retransmits the content selectively in order to solve these problems.

As software systems become more complex and larger, software systems require a way to reuse software components or modules to provide new functionality. This paper designed a development method of web system combining SOA(Service Oriented Architecture) with MPSL(Multi-Software Product Line). According to provides SOA and MPSL, this paper suggested to service providers and service users to provide and reuse variable services. From the viewpoint of service provider, the suggested method identifies and implements reusable variable services as features by syntax-based, functional-based, and behavior-based methods applying feature identification guidelines and manages them as reuse assets. From the user's point of view, it is possible to develop a web system by constructing a service by workflow model as a method of structure and reconfigure services. As a result of measuring the reuse of the web system constructed in this paper by the function point, the cost reduction effect was verified by applying it to the similar project with the increase of reuse.

Most of the SOA solutions applicable to businesses and organizations are taking a top-down methodology. It starts with an analysis of an organization's requirements, followed by definition of business models and identification of candidate services and ends with finding or developing required services. Challenges in adopting SOA while abandoning legacy systems involve time and cost required during the process. Many businesses and organizations want to gradually migrate into SOA while making the most of the existing system. In this paper, we propose A Method for Migration of Legacy System into Web Service(M-LSWS); it allows legacy system to be migrated into web service accessible by SOA and be used as data repositories. M-LSWS defines procedures for migration into reusable web services through analysis of business processes and identification of candidate services based on design specification and code of legacy system. M-LSWS aims to migrate of legacy system into web service appropriate for SOA. The proposed method consists of four steps: analysis of legacy system, elicitation of reusable service and its specification, service wrapping and service registration. Each step has its own process and guideline. The eligibility of the proposed method will be tested by applying the method to book management system.

Although the specification of packaging box is one of the most important process to be considered before deciding cost in terms of production and logistics, there are no efficient services in our country at this time as such the making decision only through the empirical knowledge. In this research, we have developed the packaging specification design system based on the web online packaging IT service. The developed system was advanced from the existing-inefficient process of deciding the specification of packaging box, and which can decide the specification of packaging box considering the efficiency of logistics through use of IT based tool. Therefore, this study shows applied cases of normalized packaging process through the obtained packaging design simulation program. The packaging specification design system can provide the simulation and user interface. Those could calculate the specification of packaging box(packaging box size, packaging box quantity, packaging box pattern, packaging compressive strength, packaging cost etc.) considering the efficiency of logistics.

As composite materials are gaining wide acceptance in aircraft structure, repair of damaged composite is becoming an important issue. The issues in composite repair include high cost, material interchangeability, water ingression, and structural integrity. To address these problems, researchers have studied on the composite repair in various aspects. In this paper, an Internet-based advisory service (called Repair Advisory Service, RAS) for composite repair is proposed to increase efficiency for repair process. In the RAS system the web browser is used as its user interface, which provides easy access to the service. The RAS server provides web-based tools for failure prediction, Structural Repair Manual (SRM), automated prepreg cutting process, material properties, inventory and knowledge base. The computer codes implemented for repair design estimate the tensile failure and shear failure of repaired structures. The prediction of failure is based on the maximum strain criterion for tensile failure while elastic-perfect plastic shear failure model is applied for interfacial failure. The OEM's SRM is provided in the PDF format for viewing and searching by web browsers instead of looking up paper version SRM. The knowledge base in this site offers a room to share and distribute ideas, memos, publications, or suggestions from the repair engineers. The fabrication tool of RAS reads repair geometry from engineers then generates a CNC toolpath to cut prepreg patches. The RAS service is open to public and available at http://nano.gsnu.ac.kr/. Broad feedback from field technicians and engineers is welcome to improve the usefulness of RAS.

However, WebMIC site for audio services are still rare. In this work, we developed a system which enables anyone to listen audio in real-time through the internet. WebMIC system is implemented by connecting a server with a microphone and the recorded audio files are stored in a Database system. Because the microphones can be distributed sporadically, the developed system can be utilized for managing and advertizing a location. It also can be used to reduce the cost for the existing management system which is almost met by personnel expenses. Anyone who can connect to the internet can get this WebWIC service, so this system can produce a good effect if used in advertising any tourist resort.

We introduce about XBRL, eXtensible Business Reporting Language, which is widely accepted as the international standard language for business financial reporting. XBRL is a language for the electronic communication of business and financial data which is revolutionizing business reporting around the world. It provides major benefits in the preparation, analysis and communication of business information. It offers cost savings, greater efficiency and improved accuracy and reliability to all those involved in supplying or using financial data. XBRL is a kind of XML application based on the open Internet technologies. We propose a framework for enterprise information supply chain using XBRL Web services. A Web service is defined as a software system based on XML and designed to support interoperable machine-to-machine interaction over a network by the W3C. Web services are frequently just application programming interfaces (API) that can be accessed over a network, such as the internet and executed on a remote system hosting the requested services. An XBRL Web service-based enterprise information supply chain enables for companies to implement seamless information supply chains from businesses to financial institutions, to supervisory authorities, and to other stake holders for real time information access. And thereby it is expected to contribute to the increase in the value of companies due to the enhanced visibility and transparency of accounting and management.

Recent advances in medical science have made people live longer, which has affected many aspects of life, such as caregiver burden, increasing cost of healthcare, increasing number of disabled and depressive disorder persons, and so on. Researchers are now focused on elderly living assistance services in smart home environments. In recent years, assisted living technologies have rapidly grown due to a faster growing aging society. Many smart devices are now interconnected within the home network environment and such a home setup supports collaborations between those devices based on the Internet of Things (IoT). One of the major challenges in providing elderly living assistance services is to consider each individual's requirements of different needs. In order to solve this, the virtualization of physical things, as well as the collaboration and composition of services provided by these physical things should be considered. In order to meet these challenges, Web of Objects (WoO) focuses on the implementation aspects of IoT to bring the assorted real world objects with the web applications. We proposed a semantic modelling technique for manual and semi-automated service composition. The aim of this work is to propose a framework to enable RESTful web services composition using semantic ontology for elderly living assistance services creation in WoO based smart home environment.
