본 연구는 우리나라 지역대표도서관의 서비스 방향을 고려하기 위해 미국의 주 도서관의 서비스 내용을 분석하였다. 통계자료와 주 도서관 웹 페이지를 통하여 데이터를 수집하였다. 분석 결과 미국 주 도서관은 주마다. 차이가 많이 있지만 핵심 기능은 지역 도서관에 대해 예산, 서비스, 교육 등을 지원하는 것이었다. 지역주민에 대한 직접적인 서비스는 지역의 공공도서관에 비해 그 규모는 작지만 주 단위의 역사 및 정보를 수집 및 제공하며, 동시에 장애인을 위한 서비스를 담당하고 있었다. 이와 같은 미국 사례를 비추어볼 때, 우리나라 지역대표도서관은 지역의 공공도서관을 지원하며 공공도서관과 차별화된 서비스를 제공하여야 한다. 또한 지역대표도서관은 각 지역 특성에 맞는 형태로 운영되어야 한다.

본 논문에서는 실시간으로, 문서, 웹 페이지, 블로그, tweet 등 텍스트 정보와 센서, 머신데이터등 IoT의 데이터가 생성되는 상황에서 새로 추가되는 데이터들을 기존에 만들어진 VQ 코드북에 추가시키면서, 기존 VQ 코드북 모델을 실시간으로 갱신하기 위한 온라인 VQ 코드북 생성 방법을 제안한다. 기존에 일괄 작업으로 만들어진 VQ 코드북의 성능을 저하시키지 않으면서, 새로 추가된 데이터를 활용하여 VQ 코드북을 점진적으로 수정하는 방식으로 삼각 부등식을 활용하여 높은 정확도와 속도를 보일 수 있었다. 테스트 데이터에 적용한 결과 일괄 작업과 유사한 성능을 보이면서, 다른 온라인 K-Means 보다 빠른 속도를 보였다.

Since 1985, the Ministry of Environment have supported environment conservation model schools (ECMS) to promote more structured and effective environmental education in schools. For driving ECMS to playa central role for sustainable schools in the community in Korea, international trends in foreign environmental education model schools need to be analysed in addition to overall evaluations of the present status. Eco-school related initiatives as whole-school approaches in other countries include Eco-Schools, Green School, Enviro School, and Sustainable School, etc. and most of them are usually involved in international network such as ENSI(Environment and School Initiatives) and FEE(Foundation for Environmental Education). This study was based on the literature analysis, which included available documents and reports of other countries from country reports, web-pages or official documents. Also, face-to-face or email interviews with personnels responsible for running such initiatives in a couple of countries were conducted. Implications for operating and supporting ECMS were provided based on the analysis and investigation on eco-school related initiatives of other countries, which included the main objective of initiatives, overall program direction, supporting methods, criteria for selection or accreditation, evaluation and monitoring.

본 연구는 Facebook 사용자들의 Like활동 정보를 사용하여 정치성향을 예측하기 위한 분석 모델과 프로그램를 개발하였다. Facebook의 Ajax사용 특성 을 반영한 Facebook 크로울러를 개발하였으며, 이를 사용하여 수집된 성기고 방대한 데이터의 상관 매트릭스 정보를 효과적의 축소하기 위한 카테고리 레벨 필터링 기법을 개발하였다. 대한민국 사용자들을 대상으로 LCA (Latent class analysis) 분석한 결과 28 개의 기준 (전체 대상페이지의 3% 미만) 으로 사용자의 정치적인 극성을 상당히 정확하게 (AUC of 0.82) 예측할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

본 논문에서는 트위터로부터 자동 생성한 사용자 프로파일을 이용하는 개인 맞춤형 음식 추천 시스템을 제안한다. 사용자 개인의 트위터 문장에서 명사를 추출하고, 감정단어와의 공기 여부에 따라 감정점수를 계산한 후. 사용자 프로파일을 생성한다. 각 음식에 관한 정보는 웹에서 검색한 웹 페이지를 분석, 가공하여 음식별 대표 명사 목록을 만들어 사용한다. 이렇게 구축된 사용자 프로파일과 각 음식별 특징 정보 간 유사도를 계산하여 사용자에 맞는 음식을 추천 해준다. 제안하는 방법은 추천 시스템을 처음 사용하는 사용자라 할지라도 사용자 프로파일이 자동으로 구축되어 추천에 사용되기 때문에 항상 추천 결과를 얻을 수 있는 장점이 있다.

Recently, security incidents are growing rapidly in which internal employees let the drawing leak out to competitors or other countries. This type of security incidents has a characteristic that it occurs less frequently than other types of security incidents such as network or server security incident, but the damage is a lot more serious. The existing information security technologies to prevent internal information from being leaked out are only applicable to general documents(office documents, web pages and image files in which data are encrypted one by one). However, architectural drawings made up of collection of files with various formats(extensions) have problems with the process speed of en(de) cryption and accuracy, so the developments of security technologies by new methods are required. In this study, we design and develop a security technology based on work area with which users can protect the leakage of critical information in the kernel level while maintaining their work environment when they have to use sharing information that cannot be managed by the unit of file. As a result, we developed the "Virtual Secure Disk" which allows only authorized users and applications to have an access to drawings, and have verified its security by applying it to the actual company.

대학 내 기관별 웹페이지의 방문자 패턴을 분류하고, 하이퍼링크에 따른 네트워크 분석을 통해 방문자수와의 연관성을 연구하였다. 웹페이지 언어에 따라 영문 홈페이지는 국문홈페이지 방문자수와 선형적인 연관관계를 가졌으나 낮은 비율의 방문패턴을 보였으며, 단과대학이 개별학과에 비해 높은 방문자수를 보였다. 웹페이지 하이퍼링크의 중심성(Centrality) 분석에서는 사이 중심성(Betweenness centrality)을 정도(degree)로 정규화한 값이 방문자수의 상한 값에 대응되는 현상이 발견되었다. 홍보효과를 위해 홈페이지 내용, 구조 설계뿐만 아니라 웹상에 적절한 노출 전략도 도움이 됨을 알 수 있었다.

Existing image search systems allow users to search images by keywords, or by example images through content-based image retrieval (CBIR). On the other hand, users might learn more relevant textual information about an image from its text captions or surrounding contexts within documents or Web pages. Without such contexts, it's difficult to extract semantic description directly from the image content. In this paper, we propose an annotation watermarking system for users to embed text descriptions, and retrieve more relevant textual information from similar images. First, tags associated with an image are converted by two-dimensional code and embedded into the image by discrete wavelet transform (DWT). Next, for images without annotations, similar images can be obtained by CBIR techniques and embedded annotations can be extracted. Specifically, we use global features such as color ratios and dominant sub-image colors for preliminary filtering. Then, local features such as Scale-Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) descriptors are extracted for similarity matching. This design can achieve good effectiveness with reasonable processing time in practical systems. Our experimental results showed good accuracy in retrieving similar images and extracting relevant tags from similar images.

현대인들은 보다 더 질 좋은 삶을 영위하기 위한 노력들이 많이 이루어지고 있다. 특히 운동을 통해서 질병의 예방뿐만이 아니라 치료를 요하는 당뇨병 환자, 노약자, 병원에서 퇴원하여 자택에서 요양하는 환자들이 운동 처방에 따라 운동 치료를 한다. 본 논문에서는 지그비 기반의 유비쿼터스 케어 시스템을 개발하였다. 이 시스템은 운동처방을 받아 체계적으로 운동할 때 발생하는 운동 이력 정보를 누적 관리하여 질병의 예방하도록 지원한다. 이 시스템은 자신의 운동 이력 및 건강 정보를 웹페이지를 통하여 확인할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 휴대폰을 이용하여 환자들에게 운동 처방에 관한 내용을 통보하여 준다.

HTML이 웹 페이지를 만드는 데 사용되는 가장 흔한 언어이지만, HTML은 정보 공유에는 제한된 능력을 가지고 있다. 확장형 마크업 언어라고 하는 XML은 현재 웹 상에서 정보를 전달하고 저장하는 데 있어 가장 주목을 받고 있는 언어이다. XML로 표현된 정보는 의미가 부여되므로서 보다 정확하고 빠른 검색을 제공하게 된다. 전자상거래나 가상교육 등의 시스템을 개발하는 최근의 경향은 XML로 구현되고 있는 추세이다. 따라서 기존의 일반 텍스트 문서를 XML로 변환하기 위한 도구가 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 일반 텍스트 문서를 XML로 변환하기 위한 알고리즘을 제시하고, 시스템을 구현하였다.
