정보 매체로서 자리잡은 인터넷은 초고속정보통신망을 통한 종합정보통신망이 된다는 것은 이제 기정 사실이 되었다. 교육 분야에서도 많은 변화를 가져왔고, 점차 가르치는 교수중심에서 배우는 학습자 중심으로 변모해가고 있으며 전통적인 교실에서의 수업보다도 공간과 거리감에 구애를 받지 않는 가상공간(cyberspace)이라는 인터넷을 통하여 가상대학(cyber university)을 설립하게 되었다. 따라서 본 연구는 급속히 변화되는 교육환경에서 교육정보서비스의 개선과 사용자중심의 디자인을 제공하기 위한 방법으로서 WDS (Web Identity Development System)을 적용한 웹사이트디자인을 개발하였다. 그리하여 WDS 적용한 웹사이트 개발 모델를 통하여 가상공간에서 보다 개선된 홈페이지디자인 개발을 위한 방안을 제안하고자 한다.

As Internet and World Wide Web become more popular in our society, the interests in effective application to the field of rural development and agricultural extension service are increasing. The potential in Web-based agricultural extension service is expressed in many areas, such as agriculture information, Web-based training and education, and virtual rural community for rural development and agricultural extension service. The research on the Web and its related issues has been conducted in many ways, but the interests in the competencies and skills of staff who are in charge of Web developing and managing have not been exposed yet. The purpose of this study was to investigate the important competencies and skills for Web developing and managing for enhancing the effectiveness of rural development and agricultural extension service. Twelve extension service staff and on staff in the extension service support center were interviewed. The results of study showed that there were eight essential competencies; competencies to understand rural community and agricultural extension service, to understand the farmers as Web users, to design and develop effective Web sites, to understand the nature of hypertext, to utilize instruction theories, to absorb new technology, to manage projects, and to utilize external sources. The results of study also showed that there was lack of support systems for Web development and information. Overall, the findings of this study suggest that establishing long-term education and training system for technology, electronic performance support systems, and cooperation with universities and colleges for technology are of particular importance for promoting Web-based extension services.

정보화 사회가 고도화될수록 소프트웨어의 개발은 복잡해지고 대규모화되고 있다. 또한 소프트웨어의 라이프사이클 단축으로 개발기간의 단축이 절실하게 요구되고 있는 실정이며 개발된 소프트웨어의 생명주기도 짧아지고 있어 개발 및 유지보수가 더욱 어려워지고 있다. 이에 따라 소프트웨어의 개발에서 미리 구현된 컴포넌트를 사용하여 개발비용과 시간을 단축하려는 노력이 증가하고 있다. 컴포넌트 기술은 현재 매우 빠른 속도로 발전하고 있으며, 기존의 소프트웨어 개발 방법 뿐 아니라 웹 기반 시스템의 개발에도 큰 변화를 가져오고 있다. 본 논문에서는 CBD 기반의 웹 시스템의 개발을 위한 관련 기술을 살펴보고, 특히 중소규모의 웹 시스템 개발에 대한 적용을 위해 기존 컴포넌트 기술들을 비교 분석하여, 문제점을 도출하고 이를 바탕으로 컴포넌트를 기반으로 한 웹 시스템의 개발ㆍ활용의 효율성을 높이기 위한 방안을 제안하였다. 본 연구결과의 활용을 통해 CBD기반의 중소 규모 웹 시스템 구축에서 개발비용을 감소시키고 유지 관리의 부담을 경감시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

모바일 웹 애플리케이션들이 다양한 모바일 디바이스의 성능향상으로 형태로 변화하고 있다. 하지만 기존 PC환경과 달리 개발환경 및 표준에 대한 고려가 적어 애플리케이션을 디바이스 별로 구현하는 등의 이유로 개발비용이 소모되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 MWeb-프레임워크를 통해 최근 각광 받고 있는 웹 프레임워크기반의 모바일 웹 개발을 수행하는 개발방법론을 제안하며 이와 더불어 다양한 디바이스에서 동일한 사용이 가능하도록 모바일 웹 표준 준수를 지원한다. Ruby on Rails기반의 모바일 웹 개발 아키텍처를 정의하고 이를 바탕으로 모바일 웹 표준을 준수하는 애자일 개발방법론을 적용한 프로세스 모델을 제안한다. 제안한 모바일 웹 개발 프레임워크를 통한 사례연구를 수행하여 제안한 프레임워크를 검증한다. 이를 통해 개발 수행 시 애자일 개발방법론을 도입하여 신속한 개발을 수행할 수 있으며 모바일 웹 표준 환경을 준수하여 모바일 웹애플리케이션의 품질과 신뢰성을 획득할 수 있다. 향후 연구로 제안한 MWeb-프레임워크의 다양한 사례연구를 통해 잠재적인 문제를 개선하고 이를 바탕으로 표준화를 제안한다.

초기부터 웹 디자인에서는 스타일 가이드의 필요성이 논의 되었다. 하지만 실제로 그것이 무엇인지, 어떻게 적용되어야 하는지는 구체적으로 알지 못하였다. 대부분의 웹 사이트들이 그저 비슷하다는 느낌을 주는 수준에 머무르고 있다. 국내에서는 기업의 경우, Cl(corporate identity)를 웹사이트에 적용하고자 하는 노력을 계속하고 더불어 웹 스타일 가이드에 대한 개발이 진행 중에 있다. 국내 대학의 경우는 대학의 무한 경쟁시대의 도래와 함께 대학홍보와 함께 인터넷 주이용자층인 10∼20대라는 것과 대학이 바로 그들의 주된 관심사이자 직접적인 구성원들임을 감안하여 웹사이트의 필요성과 중요성이 더욱 커지고 있다. 하지만 아직 UI(university identity)를 웹사이트에 적용하고자 하는 노력은 미흡한 실정이다. 그 방법론적인 사항으로 대학웹사이트의 특성상 그리고 경제적인 이유와 함께 웹 스타일 가이드의 개발이 시급하다. 본 연구는 웹 스타일 가이드에 대한 이해와 그 필요성을 높이고, 국내 대학 웹사이트에서 그 개발 방안을 살펴보고자 한다.

In this paper, we propose a document classification model using Web documents as a part of the training corpus in order to resolve the imbalance of the training corpus size per category. For the purpose of retrieving the Web documents closely related to each category, the proposed document classification model calculates the matching score between word features and each category, and generates a Web search query by combining the higher-ranked word features and the category title. Then, the proposed document classification model sends each combined query to the open application programming interface of the Web search engine, and receives the snippet results retrieved from the Web search engine. Finally, the proposed document classification model adds these snippet results as Web documents to the training corpus. Experimental results show that the method that considers the balance of the training corpus size per category exhibits better performance in some categories with small training sets.

웹 서비스는 인터넷을 통해 기업 상호간에 비즈니스를 연결할 수 있도록 하는 것으로, 서비스 구축의 비용 감소와 속도 증진이 가능하다. 또한, 다른 영역과의 통합이 쉽게 가능하며, 컴포넌트 기반으로 개발할 경우 업데이트나 수정이 재사용성과 대체성을 제공함으로써 용이하다. 본 논문에서는 서비스지향 아키텍처 상에서 공급자 측면에서 구현되는 웹 서비스를 신뢰성과 민첩성을 보장하기 위해 컴포넌트 기반으로 개발하고자 한다. 이를 위해서 구성되는 컴포넌트를 효율적으로 통합하기 위한 아키텍처를 제안하고, 개발 프로세스를 서술한다. 또한, 컴포넌트를 기반으로 웹 서비스를 개발하기 위해 웹 서비스의 구조를 논리적으로 계층화하여 각 계층에서의 기능을 정의하였으며, 논리적 계층을 기반으로 아키텍처를 제시한다. 이들 내부는 크게 Facade와 Backside 컴포넌트로 구성하며, 웹 서비스 기능을 가지고 있는 Facade 컴포넌트를 개발하기 위한 프로세스와 메일링 웹 서비스를 사례로 제시한다. 이를 통해 웹 서비스의 생산비용과 개발시간의 절감을 기대할 수 있으며, 컴포넌트를 기반으로 웹 서비스를 구성하여 재사용성과 대체성에 대한 신뢰성 향상을 가져온다.

인터넷의 급격한 성장과 함께 기존의 많은 소프트웨어들이 웹 기반으로 그 모습을 변화하고 있으며, 이로 인해 웹 어플리케이션의 복잡성이 증가되고 개발에 있어 많은 비용이 소요되고 있다. 따라서 웹의 특성을 잘 반영하는 개발 환경의 구축이 무엇보다 중요시된다. 본 논문에서는 웹 어플리케이션 개발을 위한 효율적인 환경을 제시한다. 이를 위해 웹의 특성을 파악한 후 웹 어플리케이션을 위한 프로세스와 모델링 환경을 정의한다. 제시된 환경은 크게 3가지 기능을 가진다. 첫째, 웹 어플리케이션 설계를 위한 모델링 환경을 제공한다. 둘째, WML이라는 웹 어플리케이션 모델링 언어를 제공한다. 셋째, 모델링 단계에서의 다이어그램을 바탕으로 자동으로 웹 페이지를 추출한다. 결국 제시된 환경의 사용은 웹 어플리케이션의 설계, 개발, 유지보수를 용이하게 할 수 있다.
