본 논문에서는 미국 재난문자방송 서비스인 WEA의 개선 사항 중 지역맞춤형 서비스를 중점적으로 서술한다. WEA에서 정의하는 지역맞춤 서비스, 이를 위한 미국 연방 규칙에 대해 서술한다.

이 연구에서는 재난문자에서의 외국어 제공 현황에 대해 알아보았다. 우선, 뉴스를 분석한 결과, 외국인들은 국내 재난문자의 문제점으로 한국어라는 언어 제공 한정을 꼽았다. 다음으로, 미국은 WEA 규정에 따라 영어 외에 스페인어로 된 경고 메시지를 지원해야 하는 것으로 나타났다. WEA에서의 다국어 제공을 위한 다양한 노력도 하고 있었다. 마지막으로, 일본은 이동통신사 차원에서 다국어 재난문자를 지원하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. NTT DOCOMO는 외국인을 위해 일본어 재난문자를 영어, 중국어, 한국어로 번역해 주는 기능을 제공하고 있었다. KDDI도 NTT DOCOMO가 제공하는 언어 외에 포르투칼어, 스페인어도 제공하고 있었다.

이 연구에서는 국내 재난문자와 미국 WEA의 법령과 표준의 관계를 비교하였다. 국내 재난문자 재난 및 안전관리 기본법을 상위법으로 두는 법령이 있으나 기술적 내용은 대부분 민간 표준단체(TTA)의 표준으로만 제정되어 있다. 따라서 이동통신사와 단말기 제조사는 의무적으로 준수해야 하는 법적 근거가 없다. 한편, 미국은 WEA 연방 규칙에서 기술적 내용을 포함하고 있어서 이동통신사와 단말기 제조사는 의무적으로 해당 내용을 준수해야 한다. 이에, 국내는 이동통신사와 단말기 기종별로 재난문자 서비스의 차이가 발생하고 있지만 미국에서는 이러한 차이를 발견하기 어렵다.

Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis(ALS) is a fatal neuromuscular disease characterized by progressive muscle weakness resulting in paralysis. ALS is characterized by both upper and lower motor neuron damage. Diagnostic tests include magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) electromyogram(EMG), muscle biopsy, and blood tests. In order for a definitive diagnosis of ALS to be made, damage must be evident in both upper and lower motor neurons. When three limbs are sufficiently affected, the diagnosis is ALS. There is no cure for ALS. We recently experienced one case of ALS, The patients was diagnosed as ALS by EMG and Symptoms. We diagnosed her as Wea jeung and treated by Herbal-medication based on the differentiation of symtoms. we report change of his symptoms through both western medical treatment and oriental medical treatment.

A new model of dynamic hysteresis loops is presented. The model is a TSK fuzzy model and can be identified by using input-output data obtained from hysteresis loop systems. The model is shown to exhibit an increase in area of the loop with frequency, which is a hysteretic property.

It is shown that the rate of wear can be related to on 'index of wear intensity'. Since both upper and lower specimens have used the same hardness values, equivalent hardness of 'index of wear intensity' used the mean hardness value of specimens. This index is derived from the external variables of load, sliding speed and the hardness of the sliding pairs. The wear behavior as the hardness of the sliding elements on the dry wear has been investigated using a disc on disc configuration. The materials of the specimens are used as ten kinds along their hardness. Using experimental data, we figured the relationship between wea rate and index of wear intensity. The result had been derived a newly wear equation in disc on disc wear system.

Purpose： To assess the clinical usefulness of Transfer Insensitive Labeling Technique (TILT) in t evaluation of ischemic cerebrovascular disease. Method： Arterial spin labeling (ASL) is a method of perfusion weighted imaging usin endogenous water as a tracer. To avoid MT-related artifacts, which is common in usual A technique, a transfer insensitive labeling technique (TILT) was used, which globall manipulate macromolecular spins in the same way by both labeling and reference preparatio while free water is labeled in one case and left unchanged in the other. Philips Interal 1.5 T system was used. 40cm FOV and 32 repeated measurements were done because of the wea perfusion signal. 5 slices of supratentorial brain were obtained in 5 patients ｛MCA infar (n=3), moyamoya disease (n=2)｝. We simultaneously obtained contrast enhanced T2＊-weighted perfusion MRI and correlate to TILT images.

The effect of inband TDMA narrow band jammers to DS-CDMA system performance and the suppression techniques are investigated using Monte Carlo simulations. TIA stantard North American Digital Cellular wea used as jammer. Levinson Dubin and conventional recursive least square algorithm were emphasized since these techniques can be implemented with a few DSPs for CDMA application. Two filter structures, i.e., complex suppression filter and real suppression filter in each inphase and quadrature channels, are investigated and their performances are compared. Complex suppression filter with Levinson Durbin algorithm of 20msec updata rate is the most promising with respect to implementation and performance poit of view. Implementation feasibility is discussed and the channel capacity lost by suppression is computed.

The health benefits of garlic (Allium sativum L.) are derived from a wide variety of components and from the different ways it is administered. The known health benefits of garlic include cardiovascular protective effects, stimulation of immune function, reduction of blood glucose level, protection against microbial, viral and fungal infections, as well as anticancer effects. In the present study, it was examined the effects of water extract of A. sativum (WEAS) on the growth of cultured human tumor cells in order to investigate its anti-proliferative mechanism. Treatment of WEAS to tumor cells resulted in the growth inhibition, especially in leukemia cells, which was associated with induction of G2/M arrest of the cell cycle and apoptosis. In order to further explore the critical events leading to apoptosis in WEAS-treated U937 human leukemia cells, the following effects of WEAS on components of the mitochondrial apoptotic pathway were examined: generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), alteration of the mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP), and the expression changes of Bcl-2 and IAP family proteins. The cytotoxic effect of WEAS was mediated by its induction of apoptosis as characterized by the occurrence of DNA ladders, apoptotic bodies and chromosome condensation in U937 cells. The WEAS-induced apoptosis in U937 cells was correlated with the generation of intracellular ROS, collapse of MMP, activation of caspase-3 and down-regulation of anti-apoptotic proteins. The quenching of ROS generation with antioxidant N-acetyl-L-cysteine conferred significant protection against WEAS-elicited ROS generation, caspase-3 activation, G2/M arrest and apoptosis. In conclusion, the present study reveals that the cellular ROS generation plays a pivotal role in the initiation of WEAS-triggered apoptotic death in U937 cells.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common form of dementia in the aging population and is clinically characterized by a progressive loss of cognitive abilities. Pathologically, it is defined by the appearance of senile plaques - extracellular insoluble, congophilic protein aggregates composed of amyloid $\beta$ (A$\beta$) and neurofibrillary tangles (NFTs) - inyracellular lesions consisting of paired helical filaments from hyperphosphorylated cytoskeletal tau protein as described by Alois Alzheimer a century ago. These hallmarks still serve as the major criteria for a definite diagnosis of the disease. Consequently, one of the key strategy for drug development in this disease area focuses on reducing the concentration of cerebral A$\beta$ plaque by using substances that inhibit A$\beta$ fibril formation. We focused on developing inhibitors by synthesizing several kinds of aromatic molecules. The synthetic compounds were initially screened to evaluate the effective compound by tioflavin T fluorescence assay. The selected effective compounds were tested cytotoxicity and protective effect from A$\beta$-induced neuronal toxicity by cell based MTT assay with HT22 hippocampal neurons. The BBB permeability on effectors was also tested in in vitro co-culture model(HUVEC/C6 cell line). The behavior test wea carried out in mutant APP/PS1 transgenic mouse model of Alzheimer's disease. And inhibition of A$\beta$ fibril formation by the effective compound was monitored with transmitted electron microscopic images.
