  • A wavelet-based image watermarking scheme is proposed, based on the insertion of pseudo-random codes in the frequency domain. The original image is required for the watermark detection. The "strength" of the signature to be embedded depends on the image to be marked, thus fitting signal capacity. The experimental results prove that the method is more tamper resistant and less perceptible for any type of images than other well-known private methods in the frequency domains.

  • In this paper, the DWT(Discrete Wavelet Transform) based watermarking method for authentication and detection of image modification was proposed. The proposed algorithm inserts watermark into high frequency domain after 1-level wavelet transform by exchanging wavelet coefficients and embeds the characteristic values of high frequency domain of original image into the LSB part of watermarked image. Therefore, By extracting LSB values and watermark in the high frequency domain from the watermarked image, we can authenticate the image and detect modified positions.

  • In this paper, we introduce a watermarking technique using a block-based wavelet transform. Our objective is to achieve the invisibility of the watermark embedded into an image. That is, the difference between the original image and the watermarked image is perceptually invisible. Also, we propose a scheme that is robust to common Image processing by embedding the watermark into ail frequencies. Especially, we certified that the proposed watermarking algorithm was robust to JPEG compression and noise. In addition, our detection scheme can detect the manipulated area for the purpose of authentication. From the experimental results, we conclude that the proposed watermarking system satisfied the objectives proposed in this paper.

  • A discrete wavelet transform(DWT)-based image watermarking algorithm is proposed in this paper, the proposed method decompose the original image into four subsampled images. Subsampled images are transformed by 2 level DWT, respectively. The proposed method embeds the watermark into one of the subsampled DWT images using edge table that represents dege characteristics of the original image. Without an original image, a watermark is extracted through comparison one subsampled DWT image inserted the watermark with the rest of the submapled DWT images. many exiting methodes do not adequately estimate edge regions where intensities are changed abruptly. The proposed method address with an edge table. Also, even if the watermark is embedded into a low frequency area, our method preserves the image quality. The vality of the proposed method is demonstrated through the PSNR test and subjective image quality that human eyes feel.

  • In this paper we propose a new scheme of watermarking using the discrete wavelet transform, the discrete cosine transform, and the performance evaluation function, which does not deteriorate image quality and have robustness to attacks such as compression and scaling. moreover even if a detected watermark, which is a bit sequence in this paper, has some error bits, it can be correctly recovered using correlation-based determination scheme.

  • In this paper, a new watermarking algorithm that based on wavelet packet transform is proposed for remote sensing images, which include many high frequency components. It applies watermark to the overall subband that includes the lowest frequency band. Watermark is embedded on original image after selecting the significant wavelet packet coefficients. For selection of significant coefficients which watermarks is embedded on, zerotree algorithm is applied to wavelet packet coefficients using CPSO (Coefficient Partitioning Scanning Order). From the experimental result, the proposed algorithm shows better invisibility and robustness performance compare with conventional watermarking methods. Especially, it demonstrates better robustness for high image compression in the remote images.

  • We proposed a blind watermarking scheme using singular vectors based on Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and Redundant Discrete Wavelet Transform (RDWT) combined with Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) for copyright protection application. We replaced the 1st left and right singular vectors decomposed from cover image with the corresponding ones from watermark image to overcome the false-positive problem in current watermark systems using SVD. The proposed scheme realizes the watermarking system without a false positive problem, and shows high fidelity and robustness.

  • Today's modern world requires a digital watermarking technique that takes the redundancy of an image into consideration for embedding a watermark. The novel algorithm used in this paper takes into consideration the redundancies of spatial domain and wavelet domain for embedding a watermark. Also, the cryptography-based secret key makes the algorithm difficult to hack and help protect ownership. Watermarking is blind, as it does not require the original image. Few coefficient matrices and secret keys are essential to retrieve the original watermark, which makes it redundant to various intentional attacks. The proposed technique resolves the challenge of optimizing transparency and robustness using a Canny-based edge detector technique. Improvements in the transparency of the cover image can be seen in the computed PSNR value, which is 44.20 dB.

  • Recently, The wide range of the Internet applications and the related technology developments enabled the ease use of the digital multimedia contents (fixed images, movies, digital audios). However, due to the replay ability which the contents may be easily duplicated and not only the duplicates are capable of providing the same original quality. There are mainly the encipher techniques and the watermarking techniques which are studied and used as solutions for the above problem in order to protect the license holders' rights. To the protection of the IP(Intellectual Property) rights of the owner, digital watermarking is the technique that authenticates the legal copyrighter. This paper proposed the watermarking algorithms to watermark the 256 gray logo image and the color image by applying the wavelet transformation to the color stand-still images. The proposed algorithms conducted the watermark insertion at the LH frequency region among the wavelet transformation regions (LL, LH, HL, HH). The interleaving algorithms which applied in data communication was applied to the watermark. the amount of watermark increased which consequently caused the PSNR to decrease but this might provide the perseverance against the external attacks such as extraction, filtering, and crop.

  • The use of digital imaging technique and digital contents based on internet has grown rapidly for last several years, and the needs of digital image protection become more important. For the purpose of copyright protection on digital image, the verification of authentication techniques like content authentication, ownership authentication, illegal copy and etc are needed. Digital watermarking, the invisible encryption technique to insert digital watermark into image the sophisticated perceptual information should be used for providing transparency and robustness of images on watermarking process. In this paper, we implement the algorithm for preventing forged attack, ownership protection and authentication by transforming the wavelet algorithms in frequency domain in terms of human visual system.
