  • The purpose of this study is to present the optimum performance of hybrid waterproofing technology, which is including material and construction method. Recently, Hybrid waterproofing technology is developed little by little in KOREA. But there is not any other criterion of performance and evaluation of this technology. So, It is needed that appropriate performance items is are settled urgently. This paper were obtained by the SPSS analysis. In this study the safety factor are more important performance of building waterproofing materials than durability comfortability and productivity. And results of this analysis showed that (1) safety performance consists of Fatigue resistance, Crack Control performance deterioration Processing of tensile performance, Compressive Strength test (2) comfortability performance consists of watertightness, bond performance (3) persistency performance consists of abrasion resistance, tensile performance, flexural strength (4) productivity performance consists of dimension, unit space weight.

  • Conventional gas deposits consist of pressurized gas held in porous and permeable reservoir rocks and its recovery takes place where the natural pressure of the gas reservoir forces gas to the surface. But gas hydrate is a crystalline solid, its prospects require reservoir rock properties approprate porosity, permeability with mapping of temperature and pressure conditions to define the hydrate stability zone. In this study, we have carried out to investigate the dissociation characteristics of methane hydrates and the productivities of dissociated gas and water with depressurization scheme. Also, it has been conducted the flowing behavior of the dissociated gas and water in porous rock and the efficiency of the production.

  • In this study, an experimental apparatus has been designed and set up to analyze the dissociating phenomena of hydrate in porous rock. Experiments with the depressurization ion scheme have been carried out to investigate the dissociation characteristics of methane hydrates and the productivities of dissociated gas and water. From the experiments, it has been provided a determination of volume of gas produced and the progress of the dissociation front, as a function of time when hydrate is depressurized. Also, it has been investigated the flowing behavior of the dissociated gas and water in porous rock and the efficiency of the production

  • An aqueous/organic two-phase reaction system was applied to the production of catechol using immobilized resting cells of Pseudomonas putida CY 400. Water/ethyl ether system was used because of high partition coefficient of catechol and thus to reduce the product inhibition and degradation. Among the tested immobilization carriers, polyacrylamide gel gave the highest catechol productivity. The immobilization seemed to protect the cells against solvent toxicity. From the simulation of reaction conditions based on two-phase models, it was found that there was an optimum acetate concentration at fixed benzoate and cell concentrations for the catechol productivity. A lower phase volume ratio (lower fraction of organic phase) gave a higher productivity. However, the substrate conversion was low at low phase volume ratio.

  • The yeast extract, coconut water, safflower seed oil, arachidonic acid, linolenic acid, jasmonic acid and methyl jasmonate were added to Gamborg's B$_{5}$ medium. The changes on productivity of baccatin III were estimated every 30 minutes and the results were compared using the selected high yielding cell culture system of Taxus cuspidata. In most cases, the peaks of baccatin III productivity occured at 90~120 min after addition of elicitors. Among the compound elicitors, safflower seed oil showed the highest productivity of baccatin III. Also arachidonic acid and linolenic acid increased the baccatin III production.

  • In this experiment, we tested various nitrogen sources and then culture condition was optimized for industrial applications. The batch culture of Candida magnoliae SR101 grown in a defined medium supplemented with light steep water (LSW) as a sole nitrogen source showed a relatively high yield of erythritol production (53%), which was slightly higher than that using yeast extract as a nitrogen source, while the productivity and cell mass were maintained at similar levels. For the optimization of culture condition, the batch culture was performed. When the concentration of LSW was 65 mL/L in the defined medium containing 250 g/L of glucose, the concentration, yield and productivity of erythritol were 110 g/L, 44%, and 0.66 g/L-hr, respectively. The high yield and comparable productivity obtained with a cheap nitrogen source could be expected as a basis for the mass production of erythritol in the industrial scale.

  • In spite of the well confirmed advantages of wilting on the fermentation quality, wilting silages are difficult to make at optimum dry matter content. The prolonged wilting, especially in humid condition, result in lower water soluble carbohydrate (WSC) contents, extensive protein breakdown and sometimes higher total volatile fatty acid (VFA) during wilting an ensilage. Apart from difficulty of controlling moisture content, another problem associated with wilted silages is different evaluation on the potential productivity. In temperature climate of Asia, therefore further researches on the effects of wilting on the silage fermentation and potential productivity seen to be necessary.

  • We studied on the mineral nutrients and productivity of grasslands in Kimhwa. The vascular flora of grasslands in Sakok-ri, Wasoo-ri, and Yukdan-ri located at Kimhwa were composed of 39, 28, and 32 species respectively. The most important species were Arundinella hirta and Miscanthus sinensis These two species contributed greatly to the standing crops of live material which was in excess of $146.47g/m^2$ throughout the growing season. The daily production throughout the growing season was in excess of $1.04 g/m^2$. Factors which affected the daily productivity of grasslands in Kimhwa were phosphours and water content.

  • Recently, maintenance of old facilities has emerged as a major issue. In particular, the demand for road cutting and excavation is increasing due to the aging of underground facilities such as water supply, sewage and city gas. In addition, the development of eco-friendly equipment is required due to the environmental problems of noise and dust. Therefore, this study intends to analyze the performance in terms of productivity of the eco-friendly road cutter developed as part of the development of eco-friendly equipment, and to derive improvements.
