In the manufacturing process of ready-mixed concrete, quantity management directly affects the workability and strength of concrete. Therefore, water quantity is the most important management factor for water quality control of ready-mixed concrete. It can be said that the number of unit water in the mix design, the water quantity due to the surface water contained in the aggregate used, and the water quantity taking into account the concentration of sludge contained in the recycling water when using the recycling water are factors that affect the quantity management of ready-mixed concrete. In this study, as a stable quality control method of ready-mixed concrete, a quantity management method by aggregate surface water and a sludge concentration management method according to the use of recycling water were proposed. Thus, we tried to suggest an efficient quantity management method for stabilizing the quality of ready-mixed concrete.
This paper is to study on the change of volume and temperature of the solution which mixed water with ethanol. And its main purpose is to examine closely how the volume changes, and to find the method to maximize the change of the volume. The summaries for results of the study are; First, we were known that water and ethanol are homogeneously mixed. But two solvents does not mix homogeneously by different specific gravity at early stages. Second, we could see that the volume changed large at homogeneous mixed water with ethanol by stirrer, the change of volume is the largest value when water mixed with ethanol in the ratio of one to one. Third, when water mixed with ethanol in the ratio of one to one, the change of temperature is very large by activated hydrogen bond. We conclude that it is the best result when ratio of water and ethanol is one to one and the solution is well mixed.
Water mass classification was conducted using the data of 1985 and 1986 in the East China Sea and the Korea Strait. Kuroshio water (type K) and mixed water (type I) were broadly distributed at 50 m depth in winter and spring, and mixed waters (type I to IV) were distributed in summer and autumn. At 100 m depth of the East China Sea, and mixed water (type I) was broadly distributed in winter and spring, and mixed waters (type I to III) were in summer, and type I was in autumn. Water mass in summer is the most influenced from the Chinese coastal water. In the Korea Strait, the Kuroshio water (type K) was the main water mass in winter and spring, and mixed waters (type I to IV) were in summer and autumn. If temperatures are corrected to remove the cooling effect from the atmosphere, the Kuroshiowater region was diminished, however the mixed water region was expanded in winter and spring. This shows that although the Kuroshio water appears to be a main water mass of the East China Sea and the Korea Strait in winter andspring, in reality the mixed water (type I) which is slightly changed from the Kuroshio water (type K) widely distributed. The tongue-shaped distribution of low density surface water indicates that the water mixed with the Chinese coastal water flows to the Korea Strait and the Okinawa in summer.

This study was conducted by the slump test and the consistency test of the cement mixed soil which is soil mixed with cement to investigate and estimate the difficulty degree of work and the proper water content. So I would like to present the fundamental data that establish the work standard of the cement mixed soil. In conclusion, in this study the slump value of the cement mixed soil increases over-all according to the increase of the water content although it has a little difference of the increase range and it is smaller than one of the soil. It is estimated that the aggregating and throwing work of the cement mixed soil which is mixed with 6% and 9% cement would be fine when it has the $25%{\sim}27%$ water content and the wall plastering work is the $30%{\sim}32%$ and the floor plastering work is the $30%{\sim}35%$ and the flowing and pouring work is the $40%{\sim}42%$ water content as well as the mold compacting work is the 20%.

This study was conducted by the slump test and the consistency test of the fiber mixed soil which is soil reinforced with fiber as a reinforced material to investigate and estimate the difficulty degree of work and the proper water content. So I would like to present the fundamental data that establishes the work standard of the fiber mixed soil. In conclusion, in this study the slump value of the fiber mixed soil increases over-all according to the increase of the water content although it has a little difference of the increase range and it is smaller than one of the soil. It is estimated that the aggregating and throwing work of the fiber mixed soil would be fine when it has the about 25 % water content and the wall and floor plastering work is the about 30 % ~ 35 % and the flowing and pouring work is the about 40 % water content as well as the mold compacting work is the about 20 %. There is no decreasing of the workability when the soil is reinforced by the fiber because the workability characteristics of the fiber mixed soil is similar to the one of the soil. Therefore, It is estimated that using the fiber as a reinforced material of soil would be appropriate for the construction.
In order to understand the water masses and their distribution in the eastern Yellow Sea from winter to spring, a cluster analysis was applied to the temperature and salinity data of Korea Oceanographic Data Center from 1970 to 1990. From December to April, Yellow Sea Cold Water (YSCW) dominates the eastern Yellow Sea, whereas Eastern Yellow Sea Mixed Water (MW) and Yellow Sea Warm Water (YSWW) are found in the southern part of the eastern Yellow Sea. MW appears at the frontal region around $34^{\circ}N$ between YSCW in the north and YSWW in the south. On the other hand, Tshushima Warm Water (TWW) is found around Jeju Island and the South Sea of Korea. These water masses are relatively well-mixed throughout the water column due to the winter monsoon. However, the water column begins to be stratified in spring due to increased solar heating, the diminishing winds and fresh water discharge, and the water masses in June may be separated into surface, intermediate and bottom layers of the water column. YSWW advances northwestward from December to February and retreats southeastward from February to April. This suggests a periodic movement of water masses in the southern part of the eastern Yellow Sea from winter to spring. YSWW may continue to move eastward with the prevailing eastward current to the South Sea from April to June. Also, the front relaxes in June, but the mixed water advances to the north, increasing salinity. The salinity is also higher in the nearshore region than offshore. This indicates an influx of oceanic water to the north in the nearshore region of the eastern Yellow Sea in spring in the form of mixed water.

Preparing for treatment and management of the emulsified fuel oil which will be generalized henceforth, this paper is an attempt to examine the viscosity-temperature characteristics of emulsified heavy fuel oil which is mixed with water and emulsifier in various mixture ratio by mechanical mixer. The experimental results are summarized as follows: 1. The viscosity-temperature characteristics of the emulsified C & B grade heavy fuel oil mixed with water of same or less weight, is changed according to log.log(v+0.6)=b-3.8log T. 2. The emulsifier has to be added to the emulsified A grade heavy fuel oil mixed with water of same or less weight, because it is instable. Especially if the emulsifier is sodium stearate, it is added more than 0.3% of the weight of oil and water. 3. In the emulsified A grade heavy fuel oil mixed with water and emulsifier, the higher the ratio of water addition becomes, the higher the viscosity is and the more the viscosity-temperature slope decreases. But the higher the ratio of emulsifier addition is, the more the viscosity-temperature slope increases. In this case, the linearity of viscosity-temperature characteristic curve is poorer than that of B and C grade heavy fuel oil. 4. In the emulsified A grade heavy fuel oil mixed with emulsifier of 0.3% or less, the emulsion type is O/W type when water addition ratio is 40%, but it is W/O type when it is 10%, 20%, 30% and 50%.

When the concrete surface layer is damaged, The method of impregnating the concrete surface with a water repellent cannot secure the expected durability. Recently, various waterproofing and water-repellent materials were mixed into concrete or mortar to secure water repellency even inside cracks, but compressive strength was greatly reduced. In order to overcome the decrease in compressive strength, there has not yet been a study using the merits of organic and inorganic materials at the same time, so in this study, the physical properties and water repellency performance were evaluated by mixing an organic/inorganic composite water repellent appropriately mixed with an organic and inorganic material into the mortar. When mixed with organic/inorganic water repellent, the flow and air content were reduced by about 10% and 50% compared to the Liquid specimen. In the case of the P6L1 specimen, it was confirmed that the compressive strength decreased by about 3.5% compared to the non-mixed mortar at 39.5 MPa, the same as the existing water repellent, Powder. Water-repellent performance The organic-inorganic composite water repellent mixture specimen confirmed higher water repellency than the existing water repellent mixture powder, and the chloride penetration resistance evaluation result showed that the organic-inorganic composite water repellent mixture specimen reduced the passing charge by about 45% compared to the non-mixed mortar. In summary, it is judged that the P5L1 organic/inorganic composite water repellent mixed with a powder water repellent and a liquid water repellent in a ratio of 5:1 is the most reasonable to prevent the decrease in compressive strength and secure water repellency.
A by-product, waste sludge water produced from ready mixed concrete(remicon) factories may affect our environmental contamination if it is discharged without proper waste disposal. In Korea, all waste sludge water has been recycled in the way of mixing water of remicon, but the quality of the concrete then produced can be deteriorated, so it might cause slump loss or irregular compressive strength. In this study, waste sludge water is divided into two parts, remicon sludge and residual water in order to make it's property more stable. Then, the remicon sludge and high-alkaline residual water were used as admixture and alkali activator respectively. In this paper we research about quality of with remicon sludge and residual water and performed the fundamental properties of cement matrix mixed with remicon sludge and residual water.
Whole amount of waste water, approximately 921.6 liter, for cleaning a ready mixed concrete truck should be used to produce concrete as a mixing water or cleaning water. Recycling water for concrete mixing contains solids, which cause decrease in slump, air and compressive strengths, so it may influence on poor concrete quality. Therefore, it has been maintained to use recycling water with less than 3 percent of solids. Since no evaluation system has been constructed to directly reflect on variability of recycling water from ready mixed concrete plants, it is necessary to develop "Automatic recycling solid measuring system" for quality controls in real time. In this research, sensors measuring waste water concentration in ultrasonic and inductance methods were developed, and automatic system using the sensors were established. The accuracy of measurement sensors developed for recycling water based on various conditions of concentration was proved, and application limits were evaluated. Also, concentration of recycling water using sensors developed from ready mixed concrete plant was measured, and curing method verified the accuracy of the sensors. Moreover, measurement sensors for recycling water in various locations were installed to evaluate the effects on measuring method and spots. The automatic measuring system for recycling water concentration, which is developed in the research, will contribute to improve concrete quality safety through reliable solids maintenance.
