This paper describes several reliability models to estimate COMS ground segment availability and shows assessed availability according to GS function. Due to a back-up concept among three ground center, SOC will have all H/W and S/W module to be installed in MSC and KOSC site. Therefore, all configurations and availability parameters for H/W and S/W modules in MSC and KOSC are assumed as equal with those in SOC, if related modules have same function. Prior to access availability over COMS GS function, Availability related to fundamental configuration such as series, parallel, partial operation, and module combined H/W and S/W is described. Consequently, all functions are expected to operate with more than 99% of availability.

This Paper addresses to spray characteristics in w-shaped diesel engine combustion chamber which has impingement parts for 4 sprays injected from an injector. The two-dimensional shapes have been chosen to avoid the difficulties for analysing the spray dynamics in the real chamber. The simple shapes are reproduced with same geometries in vertical or horizontal sections through the impingement lands. The spray developments are visualized with a high speed drum camera and shadowgraphy optical system, and the droplet sizes are measured by Malvern system. The detailed discussions m made for the two different combustion chamber shapes, which are new w-shape using spray wall impaction and general w-shape. The results show that the spray characteristics of the new shape are superior to those of the general w-shape.

A study on that LED in 36[W] class replaces broadcast illuminator to save energy and improve the quality of film because tungsten halogen illuminators are too hot and spending lots of electrical capacity at the time of camera shooting. And the following result was obtained .36[w] LED lighting fixture's illuminance is lower than 1[kw] halogen Light but object's illuminance became higher, and at the image be showed very bright and softly.

In this paper, we compare the performance of asynchronous W-CDMA system with different bandwidth. We take into consideration of wideband multipath channel environment which consists of discrete multipath components whose strength is Rayleigh distributed. Each CDMA system different bandwidth experience different effects of multipath because there are different number of multipath within one chip duration according to the spreading bandwidth. We derive the average error probability versus the capacity, and compare the capacity of W-CDMA systems using the RAKE receiver with EGC diversity.

In this study, it was analyzed that autogenous expansion of MgO concrete was affected by W/B and curing temperature. Autogenous expansion test was performed for MgO concrete, which is mixed MgO of 0%, 5% of cement weight. With autogenous expansion based on long-term time variation was measured, it was observed an influence with W/B and curing temperature.

We have successfully fabricated high power (~20W) laser diode array, which are useful for pumping Nd:YAG lasers. The laser diode aray has 20 100.mu.m-wide cahnnels of which space was adjusted to 350.mu.m to improve thermal characteristics. And channel width is 100.mu.m. For an uncoated LD array, the output power of 15.66W has been obtained at 41A under quasi-CW operation, which results in about 0.42W/A slope efficiency. After aR(5%) and HR (95%) coatings on both facets, the output power was improved up to 21.18W at 40A under the same operation as above and the slope efficiency was 0.795W/A. On the other hand, by using a near field measurement system consisting of objective lens, eyepiece, CCD camera and image processing board, the typical near field patten of 1*20 LD array was observed.

The propulsion marine diesel engine have been widely applied with a mechanical- hydraulic governor to control the ship speed for long time. But it was recently very difficult for the mechani¬cal - hydraulic governor to control the speed of engine under the condition of low speed and low load because of jiggling by rough fluctuation of rotating torque and hunting by dead time of Desiel engnie The performance improvement of mechanical - hydraulic governor is required to solve these problems of control system. The electro - hydraulic governor using PID algorithm is provided to compensate the faults of mechanical- hydraulic governor. In this paper, in order to analyze the ship speed control system, the transfer function was converted from the z tansformation to w transformation. The influence of dead time changing by engine speed which induces hunting phenomena was investigated by Nichols chart of w plane. As a method of performance improvement of mechanical hydraulic governor, a Eletro - hydraulic governor shows that fine control results can be obtained through optimal parameter tuning of PID

개방화 시대를 맞이하여 국내 중소기업에서도 국제경쟁력 강화를 위해 CIM 추진은 필연적인 과제이다. 그러나 정보와 물류가 일치되는 통합시스템의 구 축은 기업내의 사람(Humanware:HM/W)과 업무(S/W) 그리고 설비(H/W)에 대한 단순화, 자동화, 통합화를 실현해야 하나, CIM에 대한 지식과 전문인력 이 부족한 중소기업 입장에서는 CIM추진시 발생되는 일반적인 장애요인과 HM/W, S/W, H/W측면에서의 기술적 문제점으로 인해, 성공적인 CIM구축 이 어렵게 된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국내 중소기업을 방문하여 분석한 자 료와 경험을 기초로 CIM추진상의 장애요인과 기술적 문제점에 대한 분석을 통해, 한국적 특성과 기업풍토를 고려한 국내 중소기업에서의 한국적 CIM푸 진 대응전략을 수립하였다.

This paper presetns the development of a SSPA operating at KU-band(14~14.5 GHz) in order of replace TWTA used in the terrestria transponder of a satellite communication. The driving stage of SSPA uses internally matched 2W, 4W, 8W FET and the power stage is coupled with two internally matched 8W FET by branch-line cominer. The SSPA is fabricated with oth the RF circuit and the bias circuitry operating temperature compensation, regulation and sequence on aluminum housing. The SSPA testing resutls implemented in this way show 24.8$\pm$1dB small-signal gain, 41dBm P1dB power, a typical two tone C/IM3, -33dBc with single carrier backed off 6dB from p1dB, and gain stability over temeprature (-30~50)$\pm$1dB.

Korean ginseng was purified to obtain radioprotective protein fractions by buffer extraction, ammonium sulfate fractionation, CM-cellulose column chromatography, heat inactivation and Sephadex G-75 column chromatography. The final three fractions, GI, GII and GIII were subjected to Disc-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE) and SDS-PAGE. The molecular weights(M.W.) of native and denatured proteins were estimated by using regression line equations obtained from the mobilities of standard proteins. As the results, in Disc-PAGE, the GI fraction showed two protein bands with M.W. of above 213, 000 and 55, 000, GII showed one band with M.W. of 44, 000 and GIII, also one band with M.W. of 19, 000. In SDS-PAGE, GI fraction gave four subunit bands with M.W. of above 114, 000, 27, 000, 24, 000 and 19, 000, GII gave two bands with M.W. of 46, 000 and 22, 000, and GIII, one band of 19, 000.
