The purpose of this study was to develop evaluation indicators which can help decision making in the quality control and improvement of the job capability strengthening program for the vocational high school depending on the situation, input, process and output of CIPP evaluation model. For this purpose, through the literature review and the research of expert opinions, the evaluation indicators for the job capability strengthening program in the vocational high school was designed. In addition, the Delphi research was conducted to 15 teachers in charge of job searching in specialized high schools and education related experts to validate it. The CVR value which indicates the value of validity was analyzed through the findings of the collected Delphi questionnaires and the degree of opinion consistency was analyzed through the degrees of agreement and convergence. Through the correction and complementation, the final evaluation criteria and evaluation indicators was decided. The evaluation criteria developed from the findings include 7 references such as requirement analysis, objective setting, implementation plan, implementation contents, program activities, program control & evaluation and program performance. Each Criteria has 41 evaluation indicators. It is expected that the finally decided evaluation indicators would be used by the people concerned with the job capability strengthening program at the vocational high schools and contribute to the quality improvement of the job capability strengthening program at the vocational high schools as well as its future directions.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate policy formation stage of Meister high schools. The study analyzed the differences in the recognition of teachers, students, parents, and vocational education specialists about policy evaluation for policy formation stage of Meister high schools. The conclusions based on the results of the study are as follows: First, in context area the recognition of students showed relatively low level. It reflects that the principle of democracy is needed to the policy formation stage of Meister high schools. The participation of stake holders in the policy formation stage is essential. Second, in input area teachers recognized that the financial resources were sufficient. Vocational education specialists recognized that human resources, such as excellent teachers and Meister teachers, needed to recruited adequately. Third, many policies and institutions need to be established for Meister high schools. The Meister high schools should be selected based on the principle of equity. In the selection process vocational education specialists should be included for the principle of professionalism.

This study is a fundamental research in the field of home economics education to enforce vocational competencies. It was carried out in the purpose of examining the recent economical and social environmental changes and its management system related to the vocational training in the field of home economics education. It seeks change in direction in relation to the National Competency Standard(NCS) based on revisions in the educational system. The method of study was mostly through reference and data analysis, professional advisory and public hearing. The main research results are as follows. First, the main environmental change factors in relation to vocational training have been integrated to the changes in; population structure, gender related economic activities, generation composition, communications technology, and innovation of living technique. These change factors are forecasting innovations in related industries, lifestyle changes, demand for manpower and changes in capabilities required for each specific profession. Second, according to the analysis of current home economics education training, vocational home educations high school accounts for 9.4% of the total number of specialized high schools, where 8 standard departments are specialized in and characterized into 137 different department names. Despite differences among departments, overall employment rate of graduates were measured 44.7%, which rates above the entrance rate of 41.9%. These numbers show great change since 2010(overall employment rate 16.9%, entrance rate 75.2%), a meaningful outcome resulting from changes in policy from the previous employment-centered education system. Third, NCS based on high school vocational home economics education system revision and investigations in change of direction in vocational home economics, this study attempts to provide background for revision from the development of NCS. It also provides proposals for restructuring division of current classification and departments of home economics education, and propositions for further future research.

Many teachers at vocational high schools have had difficulties overcoming the gap between what students know and what students have to achieve in many topics. Mathematics is toughest of all, since most of textbooks in electronics are assuming student's basic knowledge in math. Considering that many students with very low achievements are entering vocational high schools, reality is far from such assumption. Inevitably, we have to face two difficult questions; do we have enough time to teach these kids all the math that they need in two years? If not, what alternatives we should adopt? We just do not have enough time and therefore find out a way to cope with harsh reality. According to our preliminary study, we suggest that multimedia-based CAI may be the best way to attack this problem. From hardware point of view, fortunately, many of vocational high schools are reasonably equipped for multimedia-based education. However there have been hardly any effort to develop courseware for vocational education in Korea. In this paper, a CAI title for learning basic characteristics of alternating current has been designed and implemented. The developed multimedia-based CAI title has been applied with respect to first grade students at local vocational high schools. A survey after classes shows that CAI could help student feel much comfortable with Basic Electricity course and grasp physical understanding much easily. Accordingly we conclude that classes adopting CAI would be of great help to put education in vocational high schools on the right track.

This study analyzed various machine learning models that predict employment outcomes after vocational training using pre-assessment data of disabled vocational trainees. The study selected and utilized the most appropriate machine learning models based on a data set containing various personal characteristics, including trainees' gender, age, and type of disability. Through this analysis, the goal is to improve the employment rate and job satisfaction of disabled trainees using only pre-assessment data. As a result, it presents a universal approach that can be applied not only to people with disabilities, but also to vocational trainees from a variety of backgrounds. This is expected to make an important contribution to the development and implementation of tailored vocational training programs, ultimately helping to achieve better employment outcomes and job satisfaction.

The study aims at analyzing practices of vocational life of human resources in Busan. This study adopted a questionnaire method in research of university(14), college(12) and public & private vocational training institute(10) in Busan areas for empirical analysis. Analyzing items are consist of two parts. The one is employment life and job-seeking activity, the other is career development and future plan in career. The major findings of this study are summarized as follows. First, employees have had a 2-3 times job transfer experiences. Second, difficulties of job-seeking activity are lack of information and experience. Third, the best wanted region for job transfer is Seoul etc.

Now Vocational High School have many Problems. The Alternative proposal, to easy go on to university of same tract can not a substitute of the basic cause. Vocational High School is needed to the practical curriculum for her place. This article analyzes the problems of the Computer Education Curriculum for Vocational High School by compared with the demanded Curriculum, haying his or her Career when the student complete the Vocational High School course.

Recently, many more fisheries and shipping high school students have entered college than those of the past. But, this trend could be attributed to the easy and various forms of selection for college admission. Thus the examinations of the college scholastic ability 2005 have added to the vocational search ability including verbal ability, mathematic ability, foreign language ability and inquiry ability. The vocational search ability in fisheries and shipping field is concluded the general fisheries science, general maritime science, general marine science and fisheries and shipping information management. This study analyzed the questions of the fisheries and shipping subject of vocational search field with high school 2nd students on October 2003. In result, this study identified some needed basic scholastic ability for fisheries and shipping high school students.

The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of the vocational training satisfaction of youth on their career adaptability to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The questionnaires were distributed and answered by 1128 students enrolled in six vocational schools located in Seoul. Convenience sampling was used for this study. The results of this study are as follows: The satisfaction of vocational training positively influenced career adaptability; more specifically, the satisfaction of vocational training had a positive effect on the Initiative and Goal-Orientation of career adaptability. These results provide theoretical and practical implications that various vocational education programs and job experience programs are needed for the SMEs in the future.
