청각 스트레스가 3차원 시자극 유발전위에 미치는 영향 분석 (Audio Stress Effect on Visual ERP Stimulated by 3-dimensional Environment)

  • 연구는 인간에게 3차원 공간상에서 시청각 통합 환경을 만든 후 정신적 스트레스가 시각 자극을 통해 ERPs에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 정량적으로 분석하기 위하여 수행되었다. 이를 위하여, 정상 상태와 정신적 스트레스를 제시 상태를 구분하여 ERPs를 측정하였다. 실험은 정상상태의 남녀 10명의 피험자를 대상으로 하였고. 생체 신호는 Fpl, Fz, Cz. Pz, O1, O2의 영역에서 전자기적 영향을 받지 않는 차폐 공간에서 측정하였다. 그 결과 P300의 진폭은 스트레스를 제시한 경우에 좀더 커지고, 이때의 잠재기는 길어지는 결과를 얻었다 본 연구에서는 인간의 지각, 인지. 행동의 과정을 담당하는 뇌의 활동을 전위 변동으로 기록하여 정신적 스트레스의 영향을 측정하였다. 이러한 기초적 연구 검토를 통하여 인간의 제반 과정에 관한 뇌 기능의 이상을 평가 할 수 있을 것이라 기대된다.

  • The policy of the Ministry of education through the social awareness and issues are being changed. Accordingly, in response to the school building which also has to be changed. This study is Low-floor(1~2 floor) for high accessibility, important management and a lot of locomotion. This study is analysis by floor of newly established schools in Chungbuk. Facility and space on the possible low-floor situated are classified administrative zone, health zone, student support + local exchange zone, STEAM(creativity, personality) supporting zone. The administrative area includes administration office, principal's office and board rooms. The administrative zone is located against schoolyard. Because it is possible visual control of schoolyard. also it controls visitor access so it is placed near main entrance. Health zone is located near a special class, counseling center and wee class for emergency situation. and is located near schoolyard for visual control. Student support + local exchange area includes library and computer lab, audio-visual room, auditorium or gymnasium. It put more emphasis resident welfare, culture and education. So it opens for local residents. It is located center of few stories or near entrance. STEAM(creativity, personality) supports science lab, art room, family room. It is possible such a theory class, experience class and indoor and outdoor class. It is located few floors. This study is used as a reference for school building projects planing.

음성/영상 정보를 이용한 새로운 끝점추정 방식에 기반을 둔 음성인식 시스템 (A Speech Recognition System based on a New Endpoint Estimation Method jointly using Audio/Video Informations)

  • 본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 데이터에 존재하는 입술의 움직임(영상언어)과 음성을 함께 이용하여 음성의 끝점을 정확히 추정하는 방법과 이를 기반으로 한 음성인식 시스템을 제안한다. 잡음 섞인 음성의 끝점추정 방법은 다음과 같다. 각 테스트 단어에 대하여 영상언어를 이용한 끝점과 깨끗한 음성을 이용한 끝점을 각각 구한 후 이것들의 차이를 계산한다. 이 차이에 영상언어 끝점을 더하여 잡음 섞인 음성의 끝점으로 추정한다. 이와 같은 끝점(즉, 음성구간)의 추정방법을 인식기에 적용한다. 동일한 구간의 음성이 인식기의 각 단어모델에 입력되는 기존의 인식 방법과는 달리, 새로운 인식기에서는 각 단어별로 추정된 서로 다른 구간의 음성이 각 해당단어모델에 입력된다. 제안된 방식을 모의실험 한 결과, 음성잡음의 크기에 관계없이 정확한 끝점을 추정 할 수 있었으며, 그 결과 약 8% 정도의 인식률 향상을 이루었다.

WebRTC를 이용한 육안 검사 및 청진용 원격진료 로봇 시스템 (Telemedicine robot system for visual inspection and auscultation using WebRTC)

  • 의사가 병원에서 환자를 진찰할 때 의사는 환자의 상태를 직접 확인하고 환자와의 대화를 통해 대면 진단을 한다. 그러나 의사가 환자를 직접 진료하기 어려운 경우가 많다. 최근에는 여러 유형의 원격 의료 시스템이 개발되었다. 그러나 현존하는 많은 시스템이 심장질환, 목상태, 피부상태, 귀의 내부상태 등을 관찰할 수 있는 능력이 부족하다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 환자의 육안 검사와 청진이 가능하도록 실내에서 자율주행이 가능한 대화형 원격진료 로봇 시스템을 개발한다. 개발된 로봇은 WebRTC 플랫폼을 통해 원격 제어가 가능하도록 다관절 로봇팔을 이용해 의사의 관찰 하에 환자에게 다가가 환자의 상태를 확인할 수 있다. 환자로부터 원격으로 얻은 영상 정보, 음성 정보, 환자의 심음 및 기타 데이터를 WebRTC 플랫폼을 통해 의사에게 전송할 수 있다. 개발된 시스템은 의사가 참석할 수 없는 다양한 장소에 적용이 가능하다.

  • In this paper, for natural facial synthesis, lip-synch algorithm based on key-frame method using RBF(radial bases function) is presented. For lips synthesizing, we make viseme range parameters from phoneme and its duration information that come out from the text-to-speech(TTS) system. And we extract viseme information from Av DB that coincides in each phoneme. We apply dominance function to reflect coarticulation phenomenon, and apply bilinear interpolation to reduce calculation time. At the next time lip-synch is performed by playing the synthesized images obtained by interpolation between each phonemes and the speech sound of TTS.

  • The usual reasons for elderly safety accidents include lack of care for disaster, physical disability, and an error of judgment and so on. But it is true that accidents will occur continuously with the afore-mentioned causes. Against the elderly safety accidents, safety is the main prerequisite for leading the successful and easy life in the elderly. Therefore, this study is purposed to provide the way of thinking about elderly safety issues by suggesting the methods and contents of education program. This study is specifically focused on developing audio-visual materials involved in all the safety accidents and researching the effect of safety education ability through materials with a view to identify the substantial problems. Education program should make a continuous and long term study so that the curricula of the safety accidents prevention education can be done systematically.

  • The music with the times, evolved from analogous tape music to digital music. New authoring tools, interfaces, and applications make us to produce high quality music using cheap equipments. Inspired by this concept, we design an classical chinese style-instrument with the audio-visual interactive function. It enables a user to compose music and to see a vivid picture at the same time.

  • In this paper, we present effective methods for music summarization which summarize music automatically. It could be used for sample music of on-line digital music provider or some music retrieval technology. When summarizing music, we use different two methods according to music length. First method is for finding sabi or chorus part of music which can be regarded as the most important part of music and the second method is for extracting several parts which are in different structure or have different mood in the music. Our proposed music summarization system is better than conventional system when structure of target music is explicit. The proposed method could generate just one important segment of music or several segments which have different mood in the music. Thus, this scheme will be effective for summarizing music in several applications such as online music streaming service and sample music for Tcommerce.

  • This study introduces the concept of image/impression of a product design, human interface elements, and the relationships between them. It is assumed that the human interface can be decomposed into detailed design elements, called human interface elements. This study attempts to build functional relationships between the image/impression of a product and human interface elements. Two different human factors experiments were conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the approach suggested in this study. A total of 35 audio/visual consumer electronics products (e.g., CD players, VCRs) were shown on a display screen and the subjects were instructed to evaluate them in terms of eight image/impression dimensions. One experiment was conducted using Korean subjects while the other using American subjects. The functional relationships were modeled by using the multiple linear regression technique. Similarity and difference between the Korean and the American subjects were analyzed. The approach suggested in this study is expected to help designers and developers identify important design variables to enhance the subjective satisfaction of a product design.

  • In 2013, Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film was granted to Walt Disney's short animation, (2012). With various aspects of its excellence, I focus on the very effective use of digital lightings and underscores for storytelling as its success factors. In this respect, this paper aims at analyzing the roles of the visual factors, especially tone, contrast, etc. created by lightings, and audio factors, especially underscores, in the film's story development. I find that can be characterized by the well-built story structure with distinct three acts. The main stream of the story is expressed with the overall mood that is created by the fine adjustments of brightness of the main light, and contrast. And the direction and the intensity of the lighting successfully describe the emotions of the characters in each scene. In addition, I find that properly chosen and positioned underscores make the development of the story more dynamic and more harmonized.
