  • This study on the methode is easied to distinguish with emotional visual lighting on AtoN facility using 3colors LED, and which is controlled to on-off switching of approach light in shore or harbor. The identification have easied to provide a differentiation between the AtoN facility of red and white light and surrounding light in harbor both sides. And the integrated controller have designed to left-right and serial sequential lighting system for harbor guidance using the GPS synchronous or timer. There is expectation effect that is prevent a confusion about distinguish of facility by ship's operator and to beautify a night scene of harbor, which is expressed to emotional identification lighting and variable color lighting on AtoN body by vertical layer color lighting using LED. In addition, the performance of AtoN is implemented to display with guidance light the harbor safety message by morse code lighting. Effectiveness of system is enhanced that age and power consumption reduce by candle alternated high light LED.

  • In this paper, we propose a new ECAD software for efficiently analyzing and debugging of digital architecture implemented in Verilog HDL or VHDL codes. This software firstly elaborates HDL codes so as to extract internal architecture structure, then generates several graphical aids such as hierarchical schematics by applying placement and routing algorithm, object tree to show configuration of each module, instance tree to show hierarchical structure of instances, and SPD (Signal Propagation Diagram) to show internal interconnections. It is more important function that same objects in different views(HDL codes, object tree, instance tree, SPD, waveform etc.) can be highlighted at the starting any object. These functions are sure to improve efficiency of manual job to fix bugs or to analyze HDL codes.

  • In these days, as rapid growth of multimedia industries and development of techniques, and effort to develop DAVIC(Digital Audio-Visual Council) systems which support multimedia services such as VOD(Video onn Demand) and teleshopping is being done. Therefore it will be indispendable to establish a new conformance testing method related DAVIC system with respect to their standard specification. DSM-CC is a core part of DAVIC and adopts DSM-CC U-N for S3 information stream which plays a part in connection establishment and release of session and transmission layer, and DSM-CC U-U for S2 which operates user application of the system. In this paper, we propose a new conformance testing architecture and methodology based on scenario in order to test DSM-CC U-U which doesn't have any message sequences.

  • In the second half of the twentieth century, fashion shows were a long-standing promotional medium and changed form and styles as times changed. In the past, if a model were on the stage simply to showcase a brand's work, the stage would have been transformed into a more active space, displaying various performances or seasonal themes combined with art. Then in the 2000s, there was an increasing number of instances when the global fashion industry of used figurative objet in organizing a fashion show's stage. In particular, because fashion shows require audience response and satisfaction, producing displays using objet is an effective marketing method. In the early 2000s, many brands were already introducing runway displays using objet, and these cases are expected to increase further in the future. This collection of 23 ready-to-wear models, which constituted the runway display, was by utilizing the objet more than five times from the 485 brands listed in Vogue's runway category. Based on our previous research, we classified the objet expressive characteristics as reproducibility, simplicity, non-artificiality, and fantasy. Among the 207 collections that we analyzed, the collection that utilized objet in its runway display had 170 circuits. Using objet in the runway display leverages visual language which allows one to communicate the season's concept, brand identity, and desired message more easily. Futhermore, it was spatially expressed to create feeling of satisfaction.

  • This study specifies the definition and characteristics of fake fashion by categorizing cases through an analytical framework that uses the concept of simulacre, which is one of the theories that explains the reproduction of images and symbols in a modern consumer society. The presentation stages of modern fake fashion based on Baudrillard's concept of simulacre are as follows: Stage 1 focuses on the realistic imitation of the original, Stage 2 maintains a similarity with the original while transforming through the distortion of shape or visual perception, Stage 3 is the reality of the original which has become significantly vague and actively involves the designer's creativity, and Stage 4 forms a new value and an independent aura beyond reproducing the original. The presentation techniques of modern fake fashion viewed in the concept of simulacre can be classified into optical illusions by reproduction, use of a fake object, use of unusual shapes, and re-signifying through borrowing. As a result of applying the collected cases to the analytical framework, image reproduction in Stage 1 with imitative nature is a counterfeit that cannot be regarded as fake fashion, and fake fashion in Stage 4 (that can be referred to as simulacre) is fashion with symbolic and multiple meanings with new and creative designs. Modern fake fashion analyzed in the concept of simulacre transforms or reproduces the preexisting original with the purpose of merely creating original designs as well as acts as a new symbolic signal that creates a new aura and sets a trend with a message.

Characteristics found in modern fashion graphic design are as follows. First, role of sort of public relations marketing was accompanied with utilization of brand logo or symbol. Second, visual play was shown in a sense of humor with diverse graphic figures and playful texts, witty layout with graphic motives, and a free design formation. Third, it denoted a front burner issue delivering the message for various current events or arguments via the way of texts, slogans, and symbolic pictures. Fourth, it depicted artistry through the self-expressive creation of the designer.

  • The objective of this study is to develop naturalistic knit designs inspired by Yann Arthus-Bertrand's works. For this purpose, we examined the present style of naturalism and history of naturalism though literature research, and then developed designs. The results are as follows: First, as scientific realism originated from a philosophical concept was adopted in literature and other genres, its meanings have been altered and comprehensively expanded according to the genres of which the term is being used. Naturalism of the modern times carries strong message of ecology and environmental protection. Second, the modern naturalism in fashion is manifested in expressing the image of nature and plasticity, instead of a mere use of the natural materials. As the aspects of ecology become more significant, elements of retro, recycle, or grunge are additionally integrated in fashion. Third, Naturalism expressed in knitwear is similar with that of other clothing in terms of color and textile, however, silhouette in knitwear is unique in its general naturalness and flowing effects. Embroidery, knitting of Jacquard and Intarsia, or crochet is used to express forms of objects from nature. Visual effects regardless of the contents of yarn, and pattern effects after knitting by using yarn, have influences on the material. Forth, the eight knit designs in expressing naturalism presented in this study took a motif from the works of Yann Arthus-Bertrand. They were created by rendering rhythm of the landscape with emphasis on brown color. Contour and surface touch were expressed through yarn and the structure of knit.

  • Advances in communications and control technology, the strengthening of the Internet, and the growing recognition of the urgency to reduce the risk and production cost are motivating the development of improvements in the traditional manufacturing industry. In this paper, we developed a remote dust collector bag control system which is a combination of advanced IT and traditional dust collector based on the event. At first, we made the A/D(Analog/Digital) converter using a micro processor because the differential pressure transmission, which is a sensor of the dust collector, produces analog volt data. A/D converter can provide RS-232 communication to connect with Power Line Communication(PLC) modem. And, n-bytes message format was defined for the efficient dust collector bag information transmission from a dust collector to a user. Also, we designed the data types to model the dust collector and the dust collector bag, and they were logically modeled using XML and object-oriented modeling method. In addition to that, we implemented the system for showing the dust collector bag exchange time exactly to users at real-time using various visual user interfaces.

The photomontage as a visual art, dialectic of text and image that is to pursue a new format to be out the concept already existing, have been developed, the concept is similar to the modern multiple art. The value of photo montage is to explore of the photo, not limited to describe or reproduce as a deformation, the new possibilities for creative expression and the experience of the day-to-day operation for the implementation of the scheme.
