루빅스 큐브를 활용한 다 종류 3차원 객체 증강 시스템 (A Multi 3D Objects Augmentation System Using Rubik's Cube)

  • Recently, augmented reality technology has received much attention in many fields. This paper presents an augmented reality system using Rubiks' Cube which can augment various 3D objects depending on patterns of a Rubiks' cube. The system first detects a cube from an image using partitional clustering and strongly connected graph. Thereafter, the system detects the top side of the cube and finds a proper pattern to determine which object should be augmented. An object corresponding to the pattern is finally augmented according to the camera viewpoint. Experimental results show that the proposed system successfully augments various virtual objects in real time.

In this study, Digital Contents qualify estimation very important persons of digital contents as sequence of study that investigate from target's viewpoint which is serviced through web-site that digital contents is not factors of web-site service method whether digital contents distribution web-site factors effect that is some in customer satisfaction from general viewpoint of actuality digital contents distribution and is the actual proof enemy. This paper's goal that these study finding leads as digital contents industry discusses individual enterprise's success and failure as field of business in quickening period yet but domestic digital contents industry field will be roared and may can have competitive power by enterprises which wish to already started business or inaugurate an enterprise enter in field with successful beginning and direction and develop continuously.

  • Two kinds of static and dynamic state estimation methods are newly discussed for the problem of the measurement disturbance of environmental low-frequency noise in the presence of wind-induced noise. First, the probability characteristics of wind-induced noise are discussed in the form of probability distribution conditioned by wind speed, based on the simultaneous observation of the wind-induced noise and wind speed near a microphone. Next, especially form the viewpoint of simplicity for practical use, two kinds of static and dynamic state estimation methods are discussed. The static estimation method using the information on wind speed is fundamentally supported by the conservation principle of energy sum. The dynamic one is the method by using a recursive digital filter with the parameters successively renewed by the information on wind speed. This can be also simplified by using well-know Kalman filter under the assumption of the Gaussian distribution. The effectiveness of proposed two estimation methods are shown through experiments under a breezy condition in the open filed.

  • 본 논문에서는 다시점에서의 자세 추정 결과를 정합하여 3D 볼류메트릭 데이터 시퀀스의 3D 자세 추정 결과의 떨림을 줄이는 방법을 제안한다. 볼류메트릭 모델을 중심으로 원을 그리며 일정 각도 간격의 시점에서 본 모델을 평면에 투사한다. 투영하여 얻은 2D 영상에 대해 Openpose를 이용하여 2D 자세 추정을 진행한 뒤, 2D 관절 정보를 정합하여 3D 관절 위치를 국한한다. 각도 간격에 따라 다른 3D 관절의 떨림의 정도를 수치화하여 표로 나타내고, 안정적인 결과를 위한 최소 조건을 확인하였다.

  • 본 논문은 사용자로 하여금 가상 착의 객체를 360도의 시점에서 관측할 수 있도록 한 새로운 기술로서, 시점 벡터 추정과 직물 텍스쳐 매핑을 이용한 오브젝트 VR 기반 2.5D 가상 직물 착의 시스템에 관한 것이다. 제안된 시스템은 오브젝트 VR 용도의 다시점 2D 의류 모델 영상들에서 의류 형상 영역을 분할하여 사용자가 선택한 새로운 직물 패턴을 가상적으로 착용시킨 후, 이러한 가상 착의 상태를 360도의 시점에서 입체적으로 볼 수 있는 것이 특징이다. 제안된 시스템은 모델 의류의 컬러나 명도에 관계없이, 선택된 의류 형상 영역의 음영 및 조명 특성을 유지하면서 직물 패턴을 가상적으로 변경시킬 수 있고, 직물 패턴의 가상 착의 상태를 360도의 시점에서 입체적으로 관측할 수 있다. 또한 각기 다른 스타일 혹은 전체적인 차림새를 위한 다양한 직물 패턴 조합을 신속하고 용이하게 시뮬레이션하고 비교 선택할 수 있다. 제안된 시스템은 다양한 디지털 환경에서 실시간 처리가 가능하고 비교적 자연스럽고 입체적인 2.5D 가상 착의 스타일을 제공할 뿐만 아니라 수작업을 최소한으로 줄인 반자동화 처리가 가능하기 때문에 높은 실용성과 편리한 사용자 인터페이스를 제공할 수 있다. 제안된 시스템에 따르면, 실제 의복을 제작하지 않고도 직물 패턴 디자인이 의복의 외관에 미치는 영향을 360도의 시점에서 시뮬레이션할 수 있으므로 직물 디자이너의 창작활동을 도와줄 수 있고, 또한 구매자의 의사결정을 지원해 B2B 또는 B2C 전자상거래 행위를 촉진할 수 있다.

Fractal Depth Map Sequence Coding Algorithm with Motion-vector-field-based Motion Estimation

  • Three-dimensional video coding is one of the main challenges restricting the widespread applications of 3D video and free viewpoint video. In this paper, a novel fractal coding algorithm with motion-vector-field-based motion estimation for depth map sequence is proposed. We firstly add pre-search restriction to rule the improper domain blocks out of the matching search process so that the number of blocks involved in the search process can be restricted to a smaller size. Some improvements for motion estimation including initial search point prediction, threshold transition condition and early termination condition are made based on the feature of fractal coding. The motion-vector-field-based adaptive hexagon search algorithm on the basis of center-biased distribution characteristics of depth motion vector is proposed to accelerate the search. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can reach optimum levels of quality and save the coding time. The PSNR of synthesized view is increased by 0.56 dB with 36.97% bit rate decrease on average compared with H.264 Full Search. And the depth encoding time is saved by up to 66.47%. Moreover, the proposed fractal depth map sequence codec outperforms the recent alternative codecs by improving the H.264/AVC, especially in much bitrate saving and encoding time reduction.

SDR Based Modulation Performance of RF Signal under Different Communication Channel

  • Hardware components are an integral part of Hardware Define Radio (HDR) for seamless operations and optimal performance. On the other hand, Software Define Radio (SDR) is a program that does not rely on any hardware components for its performance. Both of the latter radio programmers utilize modulation functions to make their core components from signal processing viewpoint. The following paper concentrates on SDR based modulation and their performance under different modulations. The bit error rate (BER) of modulations such as PSK, QAM, and PSAM were used as indicators to test channel quality estimation in planar Rayleigh fading. Though it is not commonly used for channel fading, the method of the adder determines the regionally segmented channel fading. Thus, the estimation error of the channel change substantially reduces the performance of the signal, hence, proving to be an effective option. Moreover, this paper also elaborates that BER is calculated as a function of the sample size (signal length) with an average of 20 decibels. Consequently, the size of the results for different modulation schemes has been explored. The analytical results through derivations have been verified through computer simulation. The results focused on parameters of amplitude estimation error for 1dB reduction in the average signal-to-noise ratio, while the combined amplitude deviation estimation error results are obtained for a 3.5 dB reduction

  • The Fisher information matrix plays a significant role in statistical inference in connection with estimation and properties of variance of estimators. In this paper, we define the parameter space of the t-manifold using its Fisher's matrix and characterize the t-manifold from the viewpoint of information geometry. The ${\alpha}$-scalar curvatures to the t-manifold are calculated.

Mobile Robot Path Finding Using Invariant Landmarks

  • This paper proposes a new path-finding scheme using viewpoint-invariant landmarks. The scheme introduces the concept of landmark detection in images captured with a vision sensor attached to a mobile robot, and provides landmark clues to determine a path. Experiment results show that the scheme efficiently detects landmarks with changes in scenes due to the robot's movement. The scheme accurately detects landmarks and reduces the overall landmark computation cost. The robot moves in the room to capture different images. It can efficiently detect landmarks in the room from different viewpoints of each scene. The outcome of the proposed scheme results in accurate and obstacle-free path estimation.
