The environment which surrounds us such as climates, technology change rapidly. Forecasting the future of food by reviewing the subject at the moment would be meaningful, because we could understand the impact of new technology, set the new goal and create the future by speaking out on issues of our concern and by our choices. There are two points of view on our future, one is pessimistic view due to the food and the water shortage, as well as environmental contamination. Another is optimistic view mainly because of innovative technologies. Biotechnology would enable to develope the personalized food using nutrigenomics, nutrigenetics, and nutraceuticals. Nanotechnology and shelf-life extension techniques would contribute great deal to the development of the future food. Consumer's concern for the health and the wellness as well as palatability would affect the development of future food so that the involvment of food cookery scientists are more important to meet the consumer's needs and trends.

This study was inverstigated on that a street view is the important point of the town planning. Until now, the street view has formed with senseless and coarse town planning because of lack of understanding of the street view during the urbanization in the same way and total lack of a consistent plan. On the sight of having a critical mind about the street view, this study was performed to present the analyses of the current problems of the street formation as the vivid directions of development for the future city view of the visual quality and the development of comfort.

This paper attempts to prove Dickens's hopeful view of the future in his last completed novel Our Mutual Friend. This novel has been usually regarded as one of the "dark" novels, "dark" in the sense of viewing social reality and the future negatively. However, although it has the dark descriptive color of society typical in Dickens's later novels, it still contains some elements that point to a better future. To prove this positive view of future, this paper will disentangle the intricate narrative structure of Our Mutual Friend and find out the true meaning of the dust--money. In addition, it will investigate how people react to dust(-like money). From a close study of several characters' lives, it will testify that the dark world of Our Mutual Friend, in the end, could be a world of regeneration, a world that will lead to a better future.

ArcView와 FEMWASP 모형을 이용하여 영월유역의 현재 및 장래의 환경질을 해석하기 위한 통합적인 환경영향평가 도구를 개발하였다. 모든 입력자료와 계산 결과는 ArcView상에서 준비되어 도시되었다. ArcView내의 Avenue의 "system.execute" 명령어를 사용하여 FEMWASP과 ArcView를 통합하였다. 모델링 결과에 의하면 장래 영월호의 수질은 부영양화 상태에 이를 것으로 판단되었다. 개발된 시스템은 상수원수의 수질관리 분야의 정책의 계획이나 규제 방안을 결정하는 데 적용될 수 있을 것이다.

The computer technology and internet have the potential to provide a highly interactive and powerful learning environment for engineering disciplines. Many academic courses that teach engineering subjects have already begun incorporating virtual instruments as teaching and learning tools. This paper introduces the concept of the virtual instrument and reports some of the LabVIEW software applications in several universities. Finally the paper contemplates the future trends on the remote laboratory via the internet for engineering education.

The purpose of this study was to accept its contents as lessons for today and to search for the correct way to lead home economy of the future by way of retranslating home economic view in literatures and documents of Cho-sun Dynasty(1392-1910) Through studying Cho-sun's literatures and documents: 「Ne-hun」 by the queen So He 「Kyou-dyoung-yo-ram」by Lee Whang 「Kyung-mong-yo-kul」by Lee Yul 「Song-ho-sa-sul」by Lee IK 「Sa-so-jol」by Lee Duk Moo「Buk-hak-ee」 by Park Je Ka 「Mok-min-sim-su」 by Jung Yak Yong. The results of this study can be summarized as follows : 1. The view of income: 1) Cut down on the too much greed of property (property income) 2) Work hard with diligence(earned income). 2. The view of expense : 1) Get food clothing and housing with frugality 2) Spend money for home rites and reception of guests with manner and truth without extravagnace. 3. The view of buying and selling: Buy and sell with credit. 4. The view of borrowing and lending: Borrow and lend money honestly,. 5. The view of home book-keeping : Keep home book-keeping every day. 6. The view of economic preparation : Save for a rainy day wisely.
