  • 편리하고 효율적인 스마트워크 환경을 구축하기 위해서는 여러 사용자들이 서로 떨어진 장소에서도 동시에 업무를 진행할 수 있는 영상 회의 시스템이 필요하다. 기존의 S/W기반의 영상회의 시스템은 제공사의 자체 기술과 서로 다른 구현방식으로 개발되고, 사용자 환경의 OS별로 별도의 프로그램형태로 개발되어 사용자에게 제공된다. 반면에 HTML5 기반의 WebRTC를 활용한 영상회의 시스템은 HTML5와 WebRTC 표준을 지원하는 브라우저에서 별도의 프로그램 설치 없이 영상회의를 제공한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 HTML5기반 영상회의 국내 시장 활성화를 위하여, 서로 다른 HTML5기반 영상회의 시스템 간에 상호 연동성을 확보하기 위하여 각 시스템에서 지원되어야 하는 연동 기능에 대한 표준을 제안한다.

반성적 사고 중심의 모자 상호작용 증진 프로그램 효과 연구 : 발달지체유아 모자를 중심으로 (The Effects of an Intervention Program for Mother-child Interaction Behaviors Based on Reflective Thinking for Developmentally Delayed Young Children and their Mothers)

  • The study examined the effects of an intervention program based on reflective thinking on mother-child interaction behaviors. Three mothers with problematic mother-child interactions and their 4-year-old socially delayed boys participated in the program that consisted of four main activities like journal and video feedback, lectures on interactive strategies, mother-child interactive play and program evaluations and ran for twenty 120 minutes weekly sessions. The level of reflective thought was determined by analyzing interview transcripts, journal entries. The videotaped mother-child interaction behaviors were rated by the Maternal Behavior Rating Scale and Child Behavior Rating Scale. It was concluded that the program enhanced mother's reflection on mother-child interactions and changed interaction behaviors of 3 mother-child pairs positively.

대학생을 위한 예비부모교육 프로그램 구성 (Pre-Parent Education Program Development)

  • The aim of this study was to construct a pre-parent education program for unmarried university students on theological, practical, and psychological bases. Literature related to this subject was reviewed. and the social needs of pre-parent education, the developmental-psychological needs of university students, and the satisfaction of a pre-parent education program were investigated. A pre-parent education program consisting of 3 thematic areas was identified for future parents: the need to improve knowledge, attitudes, and skills. The program content areas were; self awareness, family life-cycle and parental role and social issues arising from dysfunctional family behavior. Multiple instructional strategies were used such as lectures, video tapes, reflective thinking, discussions, debates, role-plays, group presentations, and personality inventories over the course of 16 weeks. The assessment also identified 3 thematic areas and demonstrated improvement of knowledge, altitudes, and skills in the 3 areas.

  • This paper describes TVML (TV program Making Language) for automatically generating television programs from text-based script. This language describes the contents of a television program using expression with a high level of abstraction like“title #1”and“zoom-in”. The software used to read a script written in TVML and to automatically generate the program video and audio is called the TVML Player. The paper begins by describing TVML language specifications and the TVML Player. It then describes the“external control mode”of the TVML Player that can be used for applying TVML to interactive applications. Finally, it describes the TVML Editor, a user interface that we developed which enables users having no specialized knowledge of computer languages to make TVML scripts. In addition to its role as a television-program production tool. TVML is expected to have a wide range of applications in the network and multimedia fields.

프록시 서버를 이용한 DAVIC VOD 시스템의 설계 (Server network architectures for VOD service)

  • VOD 서비스 시스템에서의 시간 지연을 줄이기 위하여 캐싱 기능을 갖는 프록시 서버를 이용한 DAVIC VOD 서비스 제공 방식을 제안한다. 프록시 서버는 서비스 제공자와 사용자 사이에 위치하며 서비스 제공자가 보유한 일부 프로그램을 캐싱하여 사용자에게 제공한다. 프록시 서버를 사용하면 서비스 제공자와 네트워크의 부하를 줄일 수있다. 프록시 서버의 동작은 요구된 프로그램이 자신의 디스크에 있는 경우와 없는 경우로 구분된다. 첫번째 경우 프록시 서버가 서비스를 제공하고 두번째 경우는 서비스 제공자로 부터 프로그램을 수신하여 사용자에게 제공하고 동시에 자신의 디스크에 저장하여 캐싱한다. 프록시 서버의 저장공간이 부족하면 캐시 대치 알고리즘을 수행한다. 캐시 대치 알고리즘으로 잘 알려진 LRU. LFU, FIFO중에서 제안한 프록시 서버에 가장 효과적인 방식이 LFU 방법을 이용하는 것이 3개중 가장 효과적임을 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 보였다.

두 객체가 충돌하는 상황에서의 햅틱 렌더링 알고리즘 (Haptic Rendering Algorithm for Collision Situation of Two Objects)

  • 본 논문에서는 햅틱 렌더링을 위한 동영상의 장면을 정의하고 그 중 정지 상태의 객체와 단일 객체가 충돌하는 상황에 대한 햅틱 렌더링 알고리즘을 제안한다. 객체의 움직임을 크게 네 가지 상황으로 분류하였으며 동영상에서 쉽게 볼 수 있는 장면들을 활용하였다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 움직임 예측과 객체 추적을 활용하여 객체의 방향 변화와 모양 변화를 검출함으로써 햅틱 렌더링을 하기에 적합한 프레임인지 판별할 수 있도록 하였다. 알고리즘 실행을 통해 샘플 동영상에서 총 13개의 프레임을 추출하였으며 해당 프레임이 재생되는 시간을 계산하였다. 햅틱 편집 프로그램을 통해 상황에 알맞은 햅틱 생성 파형을 추가함으로써 계산된 재생 시간에 햅틱 효과가 나타나는 것을 확인하였다.

대학도서관 오리엔테이션 프로그램의 교육적 효율성 비교에 관한 연구 -강의, 슬라이드-테이프 및 비데오-테이프를 중심으로- (A Study on the Comparision over an Educational Effectiveness with the Orienting Methods by University Libraries -with an Emphasis on Lecture, Slide-Tape and Video-Tape-)

  • The purpose of this paper is to in vestigate a relative effectiveness of instruction among such three orienting methods as lecture, slide-tape and video-tape which the library of Duk Sung Women's University has applied for orienting the freshmen for the last three years. This research also carried out a sample survey by distributing uniform questinnaire to the three different groups of the students. Each group was oriented with lecture, slide-tape and Video-tape respectively. Finally, the empirical findings of this research are as follows: 1. All three orienting methods were useful for students to improve knowledge as to how to use the library, 2. There were a wide difference in effectiveness among three instructional methods, obviously, the slide-tape method was more effective in the orientation than the lecture method and, furthermore, the video-tape was more effective than the slide-tape one, Therefore, it seem safe to conclude that the media utilization effective in orientation program should be encouraged by the university libraries of Korea.

Implementation of Audio Equalization in Video-on-Demand Broadcast Content

  • In this paper, we develop the system for audio volume equalization of video on demand(VoD) content and propose the solution for it. In recent years, there has been a steady increase in the number of VoD users in addition to linear channels. However, viewers ought to sit in an uncomfortable way, adjusting the volume intermittently while they are broadcasted. Sudden changes of volume occur between the broadcasting channels, the programs from the co-channel, or the linear channels and the VoDs. Especially, upsurged dissatisfaction from the televiewers has been found due to the unequalized volume when shifting between the linear channel and the VoD. In order to solve this problem, multilateral efforts were put forth, such as a system for keeping the volume at a certain level in digital broadcasting program has been legislated domestically. It leads success in equalizing linear channel volume. On contrary, too little notice has been taken for distorted volume problem of video on demand(VoD) content. In this paper, we developed and applied the volume equalization system into VoD content to achieve uniformization, a similar condition with linear channel(-24LKFS). This suggestion helped uneven current of volume which was in the stage -16 ~ -20LKFS to stable condition by lowering into the stage of -24LKFS. It also brought 20% increase in perspective of volume quality satisfaction level.

  • Because of the development of computers and high-technology applications, all devices that we use have become more intelligent. In recent years, security and surveillance systems have become more complicated as well. Before new technologies included video surveillance systems, security cameras were used only for recording events as they occurred, and a human had to analyze the recorded data. Nowadays, computers are used for video analytics, and video surveillance systems have become more autonomous and automated. The types of security cameras have also changed, and the market offers different kinds of cameras with integrated software. Even though there is a variety of hardware, their capabilities leave a lot to be desired. Therefore, this drawback is trying to compensate by dint of computer program solutions. Image processing is a very important part of video surveillance and security systems. Capturing an image exactly as it appears in the real world is difficult if not impossible. There is always noise to deal with. This is caused by the graininess of the emulsion, low resolution of the camera sensors, motion blur caused by movements and drag, focus problems, depth-of-field issues, or the imperfect nature of the camera lens. This paper reviews image processing, pattern recognition, and image digitization techniques, which will be useful in security services, to analyze bio-images, for image restoration, and for object classification.

Effect of 360-degree Hospitalization Guide Video Content for ICU Caregivers on Anxiety, Satisfaction and Safety Perception

  • The purpose of this study was to provide a 360-degree video on intensive care unit admission guidance to family members admitted to the intensive care unit, and then to identify anxiety, safety perception, and satisfaction. This study was a single-group pre-post design, and the data collection period was from October 1, 2020 to August 30, 2021. The subjects of this study were 19 people who applied 360 degree hospitalization guide video. For data analysis, SPSS WIN 24.0 program was used, and real number, percentage, mean, standard deviation, minimum value, maximum value, and Wilcoxon signed rank test were used. The subjects' anxiety before intervention was an average score of 6.21±2.30 and the anxiety after intervention was an average score of 3.95±2.46, which was statistically significant (z=4.13, p<.001). The safety consciousness of the subjects before the intervention was an average of 4.08±0.39 and the safety consciousness after the intervention was an average of 4.54±0.48, which was statistically significant (z=5.00, p=.001). The highest level of satisfaction with the 360-degree hospitalization guidance image of the subjects was 4.58±0.51 and the lowest was 4.16±0.96. In this study, when 360-degree hospitalization guide video was applied, there was a difference in anxiety and safety perception, and satisfaction was high. Based on the research results, various programs for guardian education can be developed and utilized in the future.
