승차감을 고려한 자기부상철도 가이드웨이 구조물의 처짐 한계 (Deflection Limit for a Maglev Railway Guideway Considering Ride Comfort)

  • 승객에게 편안한 승차감을 제공할 수 있도록 자기부상열차 차체 연직가속도의 진동크기에 대한 기준을 제시하고 이를 만족하는 가이드웨이 구조물의 처짐한계를 제안한다. 차량-구조물 상호작용을 고려한 해석기법을 사용하여 자기부상열차 시스템의 매개변수 해석을 수행하고, 차체 연직가속도에 대한 기준을 만족할 수 있는 가이드웨이 구조물의 처짐한계를 L/300로 제안한다. 이를 실제 자기부상열차 시스템의 동적 해석에 적용하여 제안한 처짐한계의 적절성을 검토한다. 기존의 자기부상철도 가이드웨이 구조물의 설계 기준과 비교하였을 때, 이 연구에서 제안한 처짐한계를 적용하면 경제적인 가이드웨이 구조물의 설계와 시공이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

균일단면 선박의 유탄성 수직응답에 대한 해석해 (Exact Solution on the Vertical Hydro-elastic Responses of Ships having Uniform Sectional Properties)

  • Exact solution on the vertical responses of ships having uniform sectional properties in waves is derived. Boundary value problem consisted of Timoshenko beam equation and free-free end condition is solved analytically. The responses are assumed as linear and wave loads are calculated by using strip method. Vertical bending moment, shear force and deflection are calculated. The developed analysis model is used for the benchmark test of the numerical codes in this problem. Also the application on the preliminary design of barge-like ships and VLFS (Very Large Floating Structure) is expected.

  • 철도교량을 주행하는 열차의 진동사용성 확보를 위해 Eurocode, 신간선기준, 호남고속철도 설계지침 등에서는 교량의 처짐과 차체연직가속도로 진동사용성 기준을 제시하고 있다. 호남고속철도 설계지침 경우 Eurocode를 인용하였기 때문에 향후 열차의 주행속도와 경간길이의 향상 및 확장에 맞추어 철도교량의 진동사용성 기준을 보완함에 있어 철도선진국들에 비해 상대적으로 뒤처질 것으로 예상된다. 따라서 고속철도교량 기술의 국외의존도를 줄이고 기술경쟁력을 확보하기 위하여 주행속도의 증가와 열차-교량 진동전달특성 등을 고려할 수 있는 철도교량의 진동사용성 허용처짐을 제시하기 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 본 논문에서는 매개변수 연구와 열차-교량 상호작용해석을 수행하여 주행속도의 증가에 따른 차체연직가속도와 교량변위의 상관관계를 파악하였으며 주행속도의 증가와 더불어 차체연직가속도가 증가하는 경향을 확인하고 가속도증폭계수를 제안하였다. 그리고 교량의 처짐형상과 진동을 정현파와 조화운동으로 가정하고 진동전달함수와 가속도증폭계수를 이용하여 고속철도교량의 진동사용성 허용처짐을 수식으로 전개하였다.

세계측지계상에서 천문측량데이터를 이용한 연직선편차 계산에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Computation of Deflection of the Vertical Referred to World Geodetic System by Astrogeodetic Data)

  • 천문측량은 각 나라가 지역측지계를 사용하던 때 각 나라의 측지원점을 결정하는 중요한 수단으로 취급되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 1970년 이후로 관측된 우리나라의 천문측량 데이터를 이용하여 지역측지계에서 사용해 오던 베셀타 원체를 기준으로 천문측지지오이드고를 계산하고 아울러 GRS80타원체를 기준으로 하는 세계측지계상에서 연직선 편차 성분과 천문측지지오이드고를 계산하였다. 연구결과 세계측지계상에서 연직선편차의 $\xi$성분은 $-5.725"{\sim}8.005"$의 분포를, $\eta$성분은 $-14.917"{\sim}6.2"$ 분포를 보였으며 천문측지지오이드고는 $23m{\sim}27m$에 이르는 분포를 보였다. 아울러 두 타원체의 이격량을 통하여 GRS80타원체가 베셀타원체에 비하여 우리나라에 더욱 적합한 타원체임을 알 수 있었다.

Long-gauge 광섬유 센서를 이용한 철도교 PSC 거더의 처짐유추 (Deflection Estimation of a PSC Railroad Girder using Long-gauge Fiber Optic Sensors)

  • This paper deals with the applicability of long-gauge deformation fiber optic sensors (FOS) to prestressed concrete structures. A main motivation is the desire to monitor the deflection of the railway bridges without intervenes of the signal intensity fluctuations. A 25 m long, 1.8 m deep PSC girder was fabricated compositely with 22 cm thick reinforced concrete deck. Two pairs of 3 m long-gauge sensors are attached to the prestressed concrete girder with parallel topology. Using the relationship between curvature and vortical deflection and the quadratic regression of curvatures at the discrete point, it is possible to extrapolate the deflection curve of the girder. The estimated deflection based on the developed method is compared with the results using conventional strain gauges and LVDTS. It has been demonstrated that the proposed instrumentation technique is capable of estimating the vertical deflection and neutral axis position of the prestressed concrete girder up to weak nonlinear region.

온도상승에 따른 Steel-beam의 응력 및 처짐 해석 (Stress and Deflection Analysis of Steel Beams at Elevated Temperature)

  • This paper have performed to investigate the influence of certain parameters, including the boundary condition types, load ratios of the steel beams, and span/depth ratios of the beams itself on the structural behaviour of the steel beams at elevated temperatures. This paper is analysed the stress and vertical deflection at mid-span of the steel beams at elevated temperatures and also predicted 'failure' temperatures of the steel beams at elevated temperatures. Fire analysis used here is analysed by software VULCAN. Design examples are given to describe the structural behaviour of the steel beams at elevated temperatures.

지중매설 폴리에틸렌 관의 단기거동 예측 (Prediction of Short-term Behavior of Buried Polyethylene Pipe)

  • Flexible pipes take advantage of their ability to move, or deflect, under loads without structural damage. Common types of flexible pipes are manufactured from polyethylene (PE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), steel, glass fiber reinforced thermosetting polymer plastic (GFRP), and aluminum. In this paper, we present the result of an investigation pertaining to the short-term behavior of buried polyethylene pipe. The mechanical properties of the polyethylene pipe produced in the domestic manufacturer are determined and the results are reported in this paper. In addition, vertical ring deflection is measured by the laboratory model test and the finite element analysis (FEA) is also conducted to simulate the short-term behavior of polyethylene pipe buried underground. Based on results from soil-pipe interaction finite element analyses of polyethylene pipe is used to predict the vertical ring deflection and maximum bending strain of polyethylene pipe.

Development of monocular video deflectometer based on inclination sensors

  • The video deflectometer based on digital image correlation is a non-contacting optical measurement method which has become a useful tool for characterization of the vertical deflections of large structures. In this study, a novel imaging model has been established which considers the variations of pitch angles in the full image. The new model allows deflection measurement at a wide working distance with high accuracy. A monocular video deflectometer has been accordingly developed with an inclination sensor, which facilitates dynamic determination of the orientations and rotation of the optical axis of the camera. This layout has advantages over the video deflectometers based on theodolites with respect to convenience. Experiments have been presented to show the accuracy of the new imaging model and the performance of the monocular video deflectometer in outdoor applications. Finally, this equipment has been applied to the measurement of the vertical deflection of Yingwuzhou Yangtze River Bridge in real time at a distance of hundreds of meters. The results show good agreement with the embedded GPS outputs.

정전형 미소 평판 공진자의 설계 및 제작 (Design and Fabrication of an Electrostatic Microplate Resonator)

  • This paper represents an electrostatic micro plate resonator which consists of a rigid plate suspended with four bridges and a counter electrode. The bridges of the resonator are designed corrugated so that the residual stress are released. The FEM simulation results confirmed that the deflection characteristic of the corrugated bridge is hardly affected by the initial residual tensile stress. One resonator with the corrugated bridges and the other with the flat bridges were fabricated by the boron diffusion process and the anisotropic etch process. The vertical deflection of the fabricated electrostatic resonator was measured with a laser vibrometer, and the data were compared with the calculation results. The deflection of the resonator with the flat bridges is smaller than the deflection of that with the corrugated ones because of the residual stress. The residual stress release effect was confirmed by the fact that the measured deflection of the resonator with the corrugated bridges in close to the calculated deflection of the resonator with the flat ones with the initial stress neglected.

  • We provide a complete proof that there are no eigenvalues of the integral operator ${\mathcal{K}}_l$ outside the interval (0, 1/k). ${\mathcal{K}}_l$ arises naturally from the deflection problem of a beam with length 2l resting horizontally on an elastic foundation with spring constant k, while some vertical load is applied to the beam.
