45° 상향수제의 적정 간격 제시를 위한 흐름특성 실험 연구 (An Experimental Study on Flow Characteristics for Optimal Spacing Suggestion of 45° Upward Groynes)

  • 수제는 일반적으로 하천에서의 흐름 방향과 유속을 제어하여 하안 또는 제방을 유수에 의한 침식작용으로부터 보호하기 위한 목적으로 설치될 뿐만 아니라 운하의 운영을 위한 충분한 수심 확보 목적으로도 이용된다. 특히 하천복원 및 자연하천 정비에 대한 관심이 커지면서 수제는 국부적인 흐름제어와 수중서식처 조성을 위한 주요 수공구조물로 제시되고 있다. 수제는 단일구조물로 설치되는 경우보다는 군수제의 형태로 설치되어 지는데 군수제의 경우 설치간격에 따라 수제역내 흐름이 다양하게 변화하기 때문에 수제간격은 군수제 설계에 있어서 가장 중요한 설계인자라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 설치간격에 따라 다양하게 변화되는 수제주변 및 수제역내 흐름에 대한 검토를 통해 상향수제를 대상으로 수제설치에 따른 적절한 간격을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 주흐름영역과 재순환영역으로 구분하여 수제주변에서 발생하는 흐름을 대상으로 검토하였다. 주흐름영역은 통수능 저감으로 인해 증가된 유속이 하상안정성에 영향을 미치는 인자로 설치간격에 따른 최대유속의 변화에 대하여 검토하였다. 수제역내 재순환흐름은 수제역내 세굴 및 퇴적에 영향을 미치는 요소로서 수제역내 흐름 및 제방의 안정성에 문제를 야기시킬 수 있다. 재순환영역은 회전류의 규모와 제방부 안정성에 영향을 미치는 제방주변에서의 흐름에 대하여 분석하였으며, 수제역내 발생하는 회전류의 중심점 위치변화에 대한 비교검토를 수행하였다. 결과를 종합적으로 검토한 결과 상향수제설치에 따른 유속저감, 하상안정성확보, 수제역내역류로 인한 제방안정성 확보 등을 고려하였을 때 적절한 설치간격은 최소 4배에서 최대 6배 이내로 설치할 것을 제안하고자 한다.

막결합형 활성슬러지 시스템에서의 막오염 유발 인자 (Factors Affecting Membrane Fouling in Membrane Filtration of Activated Sludge)

  • 막결합형 활성슬러지 공정은 막오염으로 인한 플럭스 감소 때문에 시스템의 경제성과 효율성이 떨어지는 문제점을 지니고 있어 막오염에 대한 체계적인 연구가 요구되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 한외여과막과 결합된 활성슬러지 시스템을 운영하면서 막오염 유발 인자를 규명하고자 하였다. 활성슬러지 공정의 운전 초기에 급격한 플록 크기 감소와 동시에 급격한 플럭스 감소가 관찰되었다. 초기 플럭스 감소현상은 활성슬러지 플록의 입자 크기 감소로 인한 케이크 저항의 증가가 주요 원인이었다. 이것은 운전시간에 따른 각 여과 저항값을 측정하여 확인하였다. 또한, 플록 해체로 인하여 EPS 양이 운전 전보다 약 150 % 가량 증가한 것을 볼 때 EPS 양의 증가가 케이크 저항 증가의 또 다른 원인이 될 수 있음을 제시하였다.

석조문화재 보호각의 보존환경 연구(I)-경주배리석불입상, 서산마애삼존불상을 중심으로 (Investigation on the Conservation Environment for the Shelter of Stone Cultural Properties (I)-Focused on the Standing Stone Buddhist Triad in Bae-ri, Gyeongju and Rock-carved Triad Buddha in Seosan)

  • Most of the stone cultural properties is exposed to the weathering factor(rain, windetc.), so the shelter is constructed for reduction of its direct effect. But the shelter is indicated some problems that inharmoniousness of the surroundings, in section disturbance for insufficiency of light, the loss about the value of cultural properties and so on. So we have investigated on environmental condition (temperature, relative humidity, wind etc.) at the Standing Stone Buddhist Triad in Bae-ri, Gyeongju and Rock-carved Triad Buddha in Seosan because check the effect of the shelter. As the result, the Standing Stone Buddhist Triad in Bae-ri, Gyeongju is located a pine wood and a lot of bamboo grow naturally in nearing. Environmental difference on inside and outside of the shelter is not found because opened on all sides. But there is so dim for the direction of the sunlight that can't see the Standing Stone Buddhist. The base rock of Rock-carved Triad Buddha in Seosan well develop with crack and break, and the vegetation(trees, moss, lichen etc.) grow naturally in surroundings. Environmental difference on inside and outside of the shelter is found because closed on all sides and opened the front gate only inspection time. Inside of the shelter was too calm(air-velocity not detected) and humid(over 75%RH). Also the surface is occurred the dew(at 2-4 pm) and the efflorescence for effect of the water(rain, dew etc.). Besides the head of the central Buddhist is so dangerous for crack.

발전용 보일러 후부 전열면 소음진동 저감에 관한 연구 (A Case Study on the Reduction of Noise and Vibration at the Backpass Heat Surface in the Power Plant Boiler)

  • The resonance of boiler is caused by exciting force in the gas path and it generates the vibration by the harmony of boiler's dimensional factor. According to trending toward the boiler of increasing capacity and a bigger size, it has a problem of the vibration at back-pass heating surfaces. We can predict such vibrations as comparison between vortex frequency and gas column's natural frequency. We can't rely on the method for the past decades because of changing parameters, such as an allowable error, gas temperature, gas velocity, Strouhal number. We can reduce the vibration to use the seasoning effect and change the operating condition in coal fired boiler but it's not essential solution. When the vibration occurred in the model boiler, we must measures the acoustic pressure and frequency of places for considering the means. So far, we confirmed the problem from field measures and theoretical analysis about the acoustic vibration of boiler. We installed anti-acoustic baffle in a existing boiler to change the acoustic natural frequency at the cavity, which results in reducing the acoustic vibration. The first, we prove that the acoustic resonance is caused by harmonizing vortex shedding frequency of tube heat surface with acoustic natural frequency of cavity in the range of 650~750 MW loads. The second, the acoustic resonance at the back-pass heating surface has the third order of acoustic natural frequency at the second economizer. We install five anti-acoustic baffles at the second economizer to reducing the resonance. We confirm considerably reducing the acoustic vibration of boiler during the commercial boiler.

비탈면 안정해석과 유지관리의 통합해석기법 (Integral Method of Stability Analysis and Maintenance of Slope)

  • 비탈면 안정해석 기법과 유지관리를 위한 계측자료 해석기법은 다양하게 제시되어 있지만 두 기법을 연계할 수 있는 방안은 제시되지 않았다. 본 연구에서는 진행성 파괴에 대한 비탈면 안정해석과 계측기반의 유지관리를 통합할 수 있는 해석기법을 제안하였다. 시간 열화에 의한 비탈면의 붕괴과정은 강도감소계수를 적용한 지반강도정수를 이용하여 정량화하고, 비탈면 붕괴 시 까지의 안전율과 파괴범위를 산정하였다. 변위는 누적 변위 곡선과 변위 속도 곡선, 변위 역속도 곡선으로 정량화하여 유지관리 기법과 연계하였다. 제안된 절차로 해석을 수행한 결과, 누적 변위 곡선을 이용한 비탈면의 파괴모델은 기존 연구와 동일하게 3차 다항모델로 산정되었다. 붕괴 시점 예측에 적용되는 변위 역속도의 취성재료에서는 1차 직선식, 연성재료에서는 3차 다항식으로 감소되어 Fukuzono(1985)의 제안식과 일치하였으며 붕괴사례와도 유사한 거동을 나타내었다.

SWAT 모형의 하도 수질 모듈의 개선 (Improvement of Channel Water Quality Module in SWAT)

  • With various reservoirs, dams and reduction of water velocity in downstream, rivers in Korea often have characteristics of accumulation of pollutants. Therefore, the main focus of water quality modeling in Korea needs to be shifted from DO to algae and organic matter. Moreover the structures of water quality models should be modified to have capability of simulating BOD which is a key factor of total water pollution load management in Korea as laboratory experiment BOD (Bottle $BOD_5$). In the SWAT model which is one of the widely used water quality models in Korea, the channel water quality module is using main algorithm of the QUAL2E model which has limitations in simulating algae, organic matter and Bottle BOD5 etc. To overcome this hindrance, in this study, the improved channel water quality module of the SWAT model (Q-SWAT) was proposed by linking the algorithms of the QUAL-NIER model which was developed based on the QUAL2E model to the SWAT model. The algorithms estimating the increase of internal organic matter by fractionization algal metabolism process and calculating Bottle $BOD_5$ were added and the results of proposed model were compared to those of the original SWAT model. The results of comparison test are showing that more accurate BOD values can be obtained with the Q-SWAT model and it is anticipated that the Q-SWAT model can be used as an effective tool of decision support through the water quality simulation and long term pollution source analysis.

철근 겹침이음 위치 부적정이 지하박스 슬래브 균열 발생에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Inadequate Rebar Lap Position on Crack of Underground Box Slab)

  • 본 연구에서는 철근 겹침이음 위치가 부적정하게 시공된 사례를 바탕으로 콘크리트 구조기준에서 제시한 설치기준에 대하여 분석 및 고찰을 하였으며, 현행 구조기준에서 제시한 겹침이음에 대한 기준이 적정함을 해석적으로 입증하였다. 실제 종방향 균열이 발생된 지하 박스구조물 단면에 대한 철근 겹침이음부의 철근강도감소비 및 설계유효 모멘트를 산출하여 철근 겹침이음부의 균열 발생원인에 대하여 해석적으로 입증하였다. 연구결과, 최대 인장응력이 발생되는 지하 박스구조물 중앙부에 철근 겹침이음이 설치될 경우 철근 겹침이음부의 철근강도감소비는 82.8% 수준인 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서, 콘크리트 구조기준에서 정하고 있는 바와 같이 철근 겹침이음부의 위치는 최대 인장응력이 발생하는 지점을 피해야 하며, 부득이하게 겹침이음이 부적정한 위치에 설치되는 경우 본 연구에서 검토한 바와 같이 충분한 겹침이음길이를 확보하여야 하며, 구조물 단면력에 대하여 검토하여 충분한 안전율을 확보하는 것이 중장기적인 균열 제어 방법으로 적정할 것으로 검토되었다.

Non-Gaussian wind features over complex terrain under atmospheric turbulent boundary layers: A case study

  • In wind-resistant designs, wind velocity is assumed to be a Gaussian process; however, local complex topography may result in strong non-Gaussian wind features. This study investigates the non-Gaussian wind features over complex terrain under atmospheric turbulent boundary layers by the large eddy simulation (LES) model, and the turbulent inlet of LES is generated by the consistent discretizing random flow generation (CDRFG) method. The performance of LES is validated by two different complex terrains in Changsha and Mianyang, China, and the results are compared with wind tunnel tests and onsite measurements, respectively. Furthermore, the non-Gaussian parameters, such as skewness, kurtosis, probability curves, and gust factors, are analyzed in-depth. The results show that the LES method is in good agreement with both mean and turbulent wind fields from wind tunnel tests and onsite measurements. Wind fields in complex terrain mostly exhibit a left-skewed Gaussian process, and it changes from a softening Gaussian process to a hardening Gaussian process as the height increases. A reduction in the gust factors of about 2.0%-15.0% can be found by taking into account the non-Gaussian features, except for a 4.4% increase near the ground in steep terrain. This study can provide a reference for the assessment of extreme wind loads on structures in complex terrain.

평행식 진동탄환 암거 천공기의 연구(III)-견인력, 토크, 동력 및 모멘크에 관한 모형시험- (A Study on Balanced -type Oseillating Mole-Drainer(III)-Model Test for Draft Force, Torque, Power and Moment)

  • This paper is the third one of the study on balanced type oscillating mole-drainer, the first one was presented in No 9. Gyeongsang College Report and the second one in Vol. 17, No.4 of the KSAE. In the first part of this study, the characteristics of traction forces between the nonoscillating earth working equipments and oscillating ones was compared. A model of the balanced type oscillating mole-drainer, which composed of a mechanism that may reduce the machine vibration, was designed following the dimensional analysis and similitude technique. The model test was carried out to clarify the balancing mechanism of the oscillating parts and other parts of the machine. In the light of the results from the model tests, a prototype machine was made for experimental purpose. Results from the field test by a reported in the near future. In the second report, the model tests were carried out under the same soil conditions, i.e, . oscillating frequency, running velocity, and oscillating amplitude, etc. It was clear that use of balanced type oscillating model could substantially reduce the vibration of the whole system of the machine, when compared with the nonoscillating type model. In this paper(the third report), results of investigation on the traction force, power requirement, and moment. etc, is presented. Analysis of variance technique was used for analyzing the effect of the frequency, amplitude, and running velocity on the draft force, torque, power requirements, and moments. The results obtained from the model tests are as follows, 1) By practicing a balanced-type oscillating mole-drainer, it was possible to reduce the traction resistance by 55.1-61. 2 percent of traction resistance, however, was 1.75 - 1.95 times greater than the value of resistance which was induced by use of a mole-drainer with single bullet. The resistance of rear shank against soil was considered as a main causing factor of the above results. 2) As the oscillation frequency was increased, the traction resistance was decreased. Considering on the effect of oscillation the greater the amplitude, and the slower the running velocity was, the greater the reduction ratio of traction resistance was. 3) The ratio of the traction resistance of oscillating mole-drainer to that of non-oscillating one could be represented as a function of dimensionless variable (V/$Af$). The results from the tests were well agreed with the reported results from the experim ents on oscillation plow or hoe. 4) By taking a lower value of (V/$Af$), reducing the traction resistance was possible. This fact meant, however, that the efficiency of mole drain practice would be lower. 5) It was experimentally confirmed under the same condition of soil that the variable (R/$rD1^3$) could be represented as a function of a variable($V^2/gD$) when a non\ulcornerocillating mole-drainer was used. 6) When a oscillating mole-drainer was used, the variable(R/$rD_1^{3}$) could be represented as a function of two variables ($v^2/gD_1$) and (V^2/gD_1$). 7) The torque was not affected by a change of frequency. However, a relation of proportionality existed between torque and amplitude, running velocity, and ratio of bullet diameter. When a balanced type oscillating mole-drainer with two bullets was used, torque was increased by 52.8-78. 4 percent and total power requirement was also increased. 8) Total power requirement was increased linearly in accordance with the increasing frequency, 41.96 percent of total power was used for oscillating action. The magnitude of total power requirement was 1. 8-9. 4 times greater than that of a non-oscillating mechanism. In the view point of power requirement, it was not advisable to increase the frequency, amplitude, running velocity, and ratio of bullet diameter at the same time. 9) Only the positive moment occured in the rear shank. Change of the diameter of a rear bullet, could not affect the balancing against the soil resistance. It was necessary for rear bullet to have a large resistance against soil only when the rear bullet was in backward motion. 10) Within an extent of the experimental base, optimum limits for several design factors were A=0.5cm, $f$=22.5Hz, V=O. 05m/sec, and $\lambda$=1.0 By adapting these values traction resistance was reduced by 40 percent and vibration acceleration wa s reduced by 60 percent. Even though the total , power requirements for operating a balanced type oscillation mechanism was greater ~than that of non-oscillating one, using a oscillating mechanism would be more effective. Because a balanced type oscillating mechanism is used, tractive resistance will be reduced and then the lighter . tractive equipment could be used.

도시고속도로 연속류의 교통특성을 고려한 가변속도제어 활성화 방안 - 부산광역시를 중심으로 - (The Activation Plan of Variable Speed Control of Considering Urban Freeway Continuos Traffic Characteristics (In Busan Metropolitan City))

  • 현재 도로상에서의 최고속도제한은 교통 혼잡이나 기상변화에 대처하기 힘들기 때문에 교통사고를 유발하는 요인이 될 수 있다. 물론 도로교통법에 따르면 악천후 시 20~50% 속도를 감속시켜야 하지만 운전자들의 판단에 맡겨야 하는 어려움이 있고, 감속하는 차량과 하지 않는 차량들간의 상대속도가 달라져서 주행환경과 안전에 큰 영향을 끼친다. 따라서 가변속도제어는 도로상의 운전자들에게 적절한 최고속도제한을 지정해 줌으로서 운전자들이 악천후 시에 감속된 속도로 달리게 하여 사고를 미연에 방지하거나 사고피해 심각도를 낮출 수 있을 거라 예상된다. 본 연구의 목적은 교통사고가 잦은 부산광역시의 연속류(도시고속도로)를 중심으로 적절한 구간에서 가변속도제어가 실시될 수 있도록 교통사고의 특성을 분석하여 사고 심각도를 조사하였다. 그리고 도시고속도로의 기하구조상 많은 곡선부 환경을 가지고 있으므로 평면 곡선부 지점을 건조한 노면과 젖은 노면을 비교 시뮬레이션 해봄으로써 비에 젖은 노면일수록 속도에 따른 사고위험이 크다는 결과를 얻었다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 먼저 도시고속도로에서 기본구간, 터널부근, 램프부근, 요금소 부근, 진 출입부 등 다양한 요인을 고려한 뒤 속도감소가 필요한 구간에서 우선 실시하여 운전자들의 참여의식과 필요성을 인식시키고 향후 도시고속도로 전 구간에 설치 및 운영이 확대되어야 할 것으로 판단된다.
