자동차 간 통신에서 비컨 메시지의 효율적인 방송을 위한 성능 분석 (An Analysis for the Efficient Dissemination of Beacon Messages in Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) Communications)

  • 자동차 간 (Vehicle-to-Vehicle) 통신에서, 각각의 자동차들은 위치, 속도, 조향 등의 정보를 포함하는 비컨 메시지를 주변의 자동차들에게 주기적으로 방송함으로써, 이들로 하여금 자신의 주행 정보를 인지할 수 있도록 한다. 그런데, 단순한 비컨 메시지의 방송은 메시지 수신 확률을 감소시키고 지연 시간을 크게 증가시키는 원인이 된다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 비컨주기 (Beacon Period), 반송파감지거리 (Carrier-Sensing Range), 그리고 IEEE 802.11 DCF 졍쟁구간크기 (Contention Window Size)가 자동차 간 통신의 성능에 미치는 영향을 수학적으로 분석하고자 한다. 우선, 측위 오차의 임계값으로부터 자동차 운전 속도에 반비례하는 비컨주기를 도출하고, 이를 기반으로 비컨 메시지로 인한 DSRC 채널의 최대 부하를 수학적으로 유도한다. 비컨 메시지의 부하가 특정 임계치 이하가 되도록 반송파감지거리를 결정하는 수학적 모형을 유도하고, 수율을 최대화하는 DCF 경쟁구간크기에 대한 닫힌 근사해를 제시한다.

Combining Vehicle Routing with Forwarding : Extension of the Vehicle Routing Problem by Different Types of Sub-contraction

  • The efficiency of transportation requests fulfillment can be increased through extending the problem of vehicle routing and scheduling by the possibility of subcontracting a part of the requests to external carriers. This problem extension transforms the usual vehicle routing and scheduling problems to the more general integrated operational transportation problems. In this contribution, we analyze the motivation, the chances, the realization, and the challenges of the integrated operational planning and report on experiments for extending the plain Vehicle Routing Problem to a corresponding problem combining vehicle routing and request forwarding by means of different sub-contraction types. The extended problem is formalized as a mixed integer linear programming model and solved by a commercial mathematical programming solver. The computational results show tremendous costs savings even for small problem instances by allowing subcontracting. Additionally, the performed experiments for the operational transportation planning are used for an analysis of the decision on the optimal fleet size for own vehicles and regularly hired vehicles.

소형 전기차량용 구배반응 무단변속기 개발 (The Development of Gradient Response CVT for a Small Size Electric Vehicle)

  • In this study new CVT(Continuously Variable Transmission) system which is adaptable to a small size electric vehicle is proposed available to gradient response CVT. New pulleys consist of springs adapted driving pulley and driven pulley. At the moment a small electric vehicle drive a slope, new system respond to a gradient as overcoming tensional force of springs. We made prototype of gradient response CVT to test parts performance and travelling performance test. As a result of test, belt pitch diameter varied for high torque direction at the gradient. In the flat travelling, acceleration travelling and gradient travelling performance test, the small electric vehicle with gradient response CVT get improved perfomance than the small electric vehicle with reduction gear.

신 개념 PHEV 시스템 개발을 위한 동력원 용량 설계 (Component Sizing for Development of Novel PHEV System)

  • In this paper, component sizing and analysis of the novel plug-in hybrid electric vehicle powertrain configuration is conducted. Newly proposed powertrain configuration in prior study has an internal combustion engine and two electric motors. To optimize component size of the vehicle system and reduction gear ratio, component sizing methodology is proposed and conducted. Required power for vehicle's dynamic performance is calculated to decide minimum power requirement of powertrain component combination. Component size of engine and electric motor are optimized using vehicle simulation to maximize fuel economy performance. Optimized powertrain configuration and vehicle simulation results present validation of newly proposed vehicle system.

  • The dynamic characteristic of bogie that is driving system of railway vehicle is very important regarding decision of vehicle characteristics as running safety and comport. The dynamic characteristic test of bogie is tested on full size in place on field testing on track. But, the testing on the full size caused many problems. To overcome these problem by full size test, the Railway Safety Research Center in Seoul National University of Science & Technology developed 1/5 scale size of small scale derailment simulator and is currently testing running stability of 1/5 scaled bogie. Also To take effectively advantage of running stability test using small scale derailment simulator in actuality design and reliability estimation, it is necessary comparison and examination with field test and theoretical analysis result In this paper. to achieve running stability analysis of 1/5 scaled bogie on small scale derailment. the program using MATLAB that is fast compose and analysis the motion equation of Saemaul power bogie is developed. It is achieved analysis according to various specification (weight, size, suspension, etc..) and is evaluated corelation between test result and dynamic characteristic of actual railway vehicle.

  • Recently, according to the advances of vehicle manufacturing technology and the fuel-efficient vehicles, the weight of the vehicle body has been reduced and quietness of the vehicle has been increased. So that, as the emotional qualities of cars, such as NVH, are emphasized in recent years. Also required to be established of the effective measure for brake Judder. The Judder was caused by the increase in DTV by the uneven thermo metamorphosis of brake disc and the partial abrasion of disc. In this study, the disc aggression by friction materials was confirmed and the improving methods of friction materials in connection with the abrasive characteristics reviewed of $ZrSiO_4$ each particle size(under $3{\mu}m$, $5{\sim}10{\mu}m$ and over $15{\mu}m$). In addition, the study is institute make use of limit for $ZrSiO_4$ raw-material particle size and vol% in friction materials. At the result, the optimum size of $ZrSiO_4$ particles was confirmed about 5 to $10{\mu}m$.

  • 본 연구에서는 기존 기종점 트립 기반 교통시뮬레이션이 가지는 한계를 극복하고 대규모 지역이나 도시를 대상으로 개별 통행주체의 활동기반(activity-based) 모형의 적용가능성을 검증하기 위한 기초 연구로 단속류 가로구간을 대상으로 차량추종모형의 근간이 되는 가 감속 및 차로변경 등의 제어변수를 우리 실정에 맞게 보정(calibration)하는 방안을 제시하였다. 특히, 기존 한 cell의 크기인 7.5m보다는 1.0m가 단속류의 교통특성을 보다 잘 구현함을 확인하였으며 각 차량들에 ID를 부여하여 차량의 거동 특성을 추적하는 기법을 제시하였다. 나아가 차종을 세분화하고 대상구간의 차종비율을 적용시켜 실제 단속류에서의 차량의 주행특성을 분석하였다. 제안한 모델의 검증을 위해 대구시 수성구의 달구벌대로 일부 가로구간을 대상으로 시뮬레이션 한 결과 실제 단속류의 교통특성 구현이 가능함을 확인하였다.

  • Flow distribution of a mid-size vehicle in engine room was investigated numerically to analyze the flow performance of given design cases in a front body of the mid-size vehicle. The data analyzed are the mass flow rate at the upper and lower openings, in the radiator, and the degree of non-uniformity of the velocity field at the inlet of the radiator. It is presented that the shape of the front end and the presence of the undercover greatly affect the flow fields, therefore, the flow performance.

  • 차량의 특징점들 사이의 간격과 그 크기의 비례율의 식으로 자동차의 차종을 식별하는 방법을 제안한다. 자동차 영상은 기본 RGB모델에서 Gray색상 모델로 변환시켜 사용한다. Canny Edge Direction을 수행하여 자동차의 배경이 되는 영상을 제거한다. 윤곽선 추출을 통하여 원하는 특징 점을 얻는다.

  • Flexural resistance evaluation of FFC (Flexible Flat Cable) was performed according to the grain size of rolled copper foil by adding 0.1wt% silver (Ag) and electrodeposited copper foil by slitting method after heat-treatment. These methods are aimed at enhancing the flexural durability of the FFC by growing the grain size of copper foil. By increasing the grain size of the copper foil and minimizing the miss-orientation at grain boundaries, the residual stress at the grain boundaries of the copper foil is reduced and the durability of the FFC is improved. Maximizing an average grain size of copper foil can be got a good solution in order to enhance the durability of the FFC or FPCB (Flexible Printed Circuit Board).
