Sensory Characteristics of Mulberry Fruit Jam & Wine (뽕나무 품종별 오디가공제품의 관능적 특성)

  • Sencory characteristics of mulberry fruit jam and wine were investigated by according to mulberry fruit varieties, including Daeryukppong, Kuksang 20, Chongilppong and a wild mulberry variety. Palatability ranks of mulberry fruit jam by according to mulberry fruit varieties were Kuksang 20(34.5%), Chongilppong(32.8%), Daeryukppong(17.2%) and Wild variety(15.5%). In the sensory characteristics, we obtained 6.32 points as total mean point. In case of mulberry fruit wine, panels were favorits the Chongilppong best. But, in the sensory characteristics, we obtained low points(=5.47) as total mean point. From these results, it seems that alcohol content was very important factor. We selectd two desirable mulberry fruit varieties(=Chongilppong and Kuksang 20) for manufacturing materials.

  • Antimutagenic effect of chungkookjangs prepared with the different variety of soybean and starter were studied against aflatoxin B$_1$ (AFB1) using Ames test and Ν-methyl-Ν'-nitro-Ν- nitrosoguanidine (MNNG) using SOS chromotest. Chungkookjang samples exerted the different antimutagenicity according to the prepared variety of soybeans in the Ames test using Salmonella typhimurium TA100.   • Recently, almost of the colleges are contrive measures to satisfy the needs of students. The purpose of this study is to find what are the impact factors to the needs of those. To evaluate the factors influencing to students behaviors, it was investigated how much did the 5 variety of Service quality-Tangibles, Assurance, Responsiveness, Empathy, Reliability-and 4 variety of attitude models to depending to the level of students influence the satisfaction of students for the students of W college. In the result, this study shows that 5 variety of Service quality did not impact for the general service quality, but only the Responsiveness and, Empathy have the positive relationship to the satisfaction of students. Also, general service quality and attitude willingness have the positive correlation with the satisfaction of students. And it is investigated that there are significance differences among the general service qualities by the level of students ability.

  • This is the experimental research that tries to explain a variety of RH is how to affect the cell performance and the flooding phenomenon of proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC). A value of PH changes to 0%, 50% and 90% as its variation, either stoichiometric flow rate changes to 1.5, 2 and 4. Into the comparison between theoretical and experimental value, this study analyzes that a variety of PH is how 10 affect flooding in the cathode of the proton exchange membrane fuel cell. The effect of air stoichiometry, air humidity and different flow fields are also discussed in this paper This study has accomplished the measurement of performance as the variety of RH in the cathode of proton exchange membrane fuel cell, moreover it has recorded the visualization of flooding in the cathode with a high-speed micro camera.

  • Recently the alloy development of duplex stainless steel has been done. On this study we studied the effect of the corrosion resistance according to the composition variety of C, Cr, N in the alloy elements of duplex stainless steel. materials which have below 0.1[mm/year] corrosion rate enable to use for corrosion-resisting materials, generally. On this experiment we inspected the effect of the composition variety of C, Cr, N in duplex stainless steel and the heat treatment, which the condition was the water quenching after the heat treatment for 1hr. The experiment was done on the basis of the ASTM G48A test, Critical pitting temperature(CPT), and ASTM G-61(Electrochemical tests for cyclic polarization).

Differences in Nutrient Quality among Wheat, Barley and Rye for Forage

  • TO select the most suitable crop and variety of forage for nutrient quality at the southern part of Korea, the crop of wheat, barley and rye were grown from Oct. 1999 to June 2000. Paldanghomil variety of rye crop was shown to have the highest chemical components in comparison to other varieties of crops used in this experiment. It showed relatively high content of crude protein and in vitro dry matter digestibility (IVDMD) and low content of NDF, ADF, cellulose and lignin. Therefore, it was concluded that paldanghomil of rye crop was the most suitable variety with high weight and high nutrient quality for forage in the southern part of Korea. The heritabilities of all nutrient quality characters were estimated to be high.

Varietal Comparison of Composition Characteristics in Several Mulberry Leaves Produced in Korea (한국산 품종별 뽕나무 잎(桑葉)의 화학적 성분 특성)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the possible use of Mulberry leaf as a functional supplement for Mulberry leaves. Chemical characteristics of mulberry leaf were investigated in eleven mulberry varieties, including Suwon, Chongil, Gumseol, Sugae, Yongchun, Hongol, Daeryk, Kaerang, Donae, Chungol and Kuksang20 varieties. The chemical compositions of minerals, amino acids, rutin as flavonol glucoside were analyzed by AOAC methods, HPLC method, amino acid analyzer, respectively. The results are as follows: In case of KukSang Mulberry leaf with spring harvest, the content of general components was crude protein 16.28%, carbohydrate 69.12%, crude fiber 9.15%, crude ash 8.44% and crude fat 2.57% respectively. It is noteworthy that ferrious content of KukSang mulberry leaves contains twice as great as that in other variety of mulberry leaves. The content of alanine was the highest among amino acids in all variety mulberry leaf. Spring leaf contain more utin content than fall leaf, among the variety, spring HongAll leaf rutin contain 260mg/100g as higher than that of fall ChungAll leaf 70mg/100g).

Effect of the Depth of Fashion Product Line on Sales (패션제품의 깊이가 매출액에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the depth of fashion product line on sales. The depth of the fashion product line was defined as the variety of style, color, and size in the outwear line for this study. Data were collected from the 98 brands in 4 department stores located in Seoul and Pusan. The result showed the significant impact of the variety of the outwear style on sales. Even after controlling the effect of advertising and the level of price in each brand, significant effect of the variety of outwear style were noticed on sales.

A comparative analysis of images for green spaces (녹지공간의 이미지 비교분석에 관한 연구)

  • The aim of this paper was to investigate images of neighborhood parks and pergola facilities. 280 individuals responded to the 19 semantic differential pollar terms for all four parks. A 7-point semantic differential scale was used. Results from the data analysis suggest several important findings; 1. Mean scores were significantly different in most of S.D.scales according to park and pergola facilities types. As compared with park, S.D.scales values of pergola varied with its visual identity in the spatial composition of park. 2. Data from the factor analysis revealed that four dimensions appeared for all park and pergola types : "Evaluation ", "Potentiality", "Variety", and "Familiarity". 3. In terms of the "Familiarity" dimension, Omok park and its pergola were viewed a ssignificantly more familiar than any of the other three areas. 4. Parks were perceived more positive than pergolas images in the dimensions of "Evaluation ", "Variety", and "Familiarity". 5. Regression analysis showed that "Evaluation "and "Variety" dimensions were mainly related to visual preference.

Seasonal Occurrence and Development of Gray Blight of Tea Plants in Korea

  • Disease occurrence and development of gray blight of tea (Camellia sinensis) were investigated. Higher incidences and more severe damage by gray blight were found in Japanese tea variety Yabukita than the Korean local variety. In Yabukita, Pestalotiopsis longiseta was more frequently observed on the diseased leaves than P. theae but vice versa in the Korean local variety. This indicates that there was the varietal difference in the distribution of fungal species of gray blight pathogens. Both varieties were most severely damaged during the third harvest period with weather conditions of high temperature and humidity favorable to the disease. Presence of the tea brown blight fungus Glomerella cingulata on the margin of gray blight lesion at the late stahe suggested that the pathogenic fungi of tea gray blight were replaced by the brown blight fungus during the disease development.
