오차드그라스 신품종 '럭키원'의 생육특성과 수량성 (Growth Characteristics and Forage Productivity of New Orchardgrass (Dactylis glomerata L.) Variety, 'Lucky One')

  • 전국에서 수집된 오차드그라스 재래종들 중 생육특성 및 내재해성이 우수한 계통을 선발하여 육성된 4계통을 집단 교배(polycross)하여 생산된 합성계통을 '합성35호'라 하고 이를 2008년 천안에서 생산력 검정시험을 수행하였다. 2012년부터 2014년까지 3년 동안 천안, 횡성, 진주 및 제주 등 4 지역에서 지역적응성 검정을 실시하여 생육특성 및 수량성을 조사하였다. 2014년 직무육성 신품종 선정심의회에서 생육특성과 수량성이 우수한 '합성 35호'를 신품종 '럭키원'으로 명명하였다. '럭키원'의 주요 특성을 요약하면 다음과 같다. '럭키원'의 생육형태는 중간형이며, 잎은 담녹색이고, 출수기에 지엽 길이는 표준품종인 암바 보다 짧으며, 상부 절간장은 길고 풍엽성이 양호하였다. '럭키원'은 암바에 비해 출수기는 5월 11일로 표준품종인 암바 보다 2일이 늦으며, 출수기의 초장은 87 cm로 3 cm 길었다. 내습성과 내병성은 '럭키원'이 암바에 비하여 비교적 강하였으며, 녹병은 럭키원이 암바 보다 약간 강한 편이었다. '럭키원'의 ha당 건물수량은 16,191 kg으로 암바 보다 38% 많았으며, 특히 횡성지역에서 증수하였다. '럭키원'의 건물 소화율은 암바에 비해 높았으며 조단백질 함량은 11.3%로 약간 높았다.

  • 전국에서 수집된 생태형 오차드그라스 계통들 중 생육특성 및 내재해성이 우수한 4계통을 선발한 후 집단 교배하여 생산된 합성종자를 2008년 천안에서 생산력 검정시험을 수행하였으며, 2012년부터 2014년까지 3년 동안 천안, 횡성, 진주 및 제주지역에서 지역적응성 검정시험을 수행하였다. 2014년 직무육성 신품종 선정심의회에서 생육특성과 수량성이 우수한 합성 34호를 신품종 "온누리 2호"로 명명하였으며, 온누리 2호의 주요 특성을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 온누리 2호의 월동전 및 봄의 초형은 중간형이며, 잎은 담녹색이고, 출수기에 지엽 길이는 암바와 비슷하며, 상부 절간장은 중간이고 풍엽성이 양호하였다. 출수기는 5월 17일로 표준품종인 암바 보다 4일이 늦었으며, 출수기에 초장은 88 cm로서 암바 보다 4 cm 길었다. 내습성과 내병성은 온누리 2호가 암바에 비하여 비교적 강하였다. 온누리 2호의 ha당 건물수량은 15,814 kg으로 암바 보다 34% 많았고, 특히 제주지역에서 많았다. 온누리 2호의 건물소화율은 암바에 비해 높았으며 기타 사료가치는 암바와 비슷하였다. 이와 같이 온누리 2호는 다수성인 중생종 계통으로, 특히 습해 및 내병성에 강하고, 건물수량이 많은 품종으로 산지생태 축산용 초지 조성 및 조사료 생산을 위한 우수한 품종이다.

한국 전통음식의 우수 요인 발굴을 위한 소비자 인식 조사 (Survey of Consumer Perception for Derivation of Superior Factors in Various Korean Traditional Foods)

  • This study selected and classified the representative foods for diversifying Korean traditional foods in the globa1 market and derived the superior factor of each food by consumer survey (n=744). The superiority of Korean traditional foods was generally recognized as being in the order of 'Nutritional value' > 'Dietary culture' > 'Material' > 'Taste.' Kimchi, Tteok/Hangwa, and grilled foods were regarded as potent Korean traditional foods for global consumers. The survey about the superior factors of representative Korean traditional foods produced the following results. The superior factor of Bibimbap, Mandu, Jangachi, Joeotgal, Namul muchim Salad, Naengchae, and Ganjang was 'Variety of material or cuisine', that of Bap, Jut Samguetang, Seolleongtang, Kimchi, Doenjang, and Sikcho was 'Nutritional value', that of Naengmyeon, Kalguksu, Bulgogi, Pyeonyuk, Jeongol, Gochujang, Tteot and Sjkhae/Sujeonggwa was Taste', and that of Hangwa, Hwachae, Gujulpan, and Sinsunro was 'Appearance'. The superior factors of representative Korean traditional foods showed the following differences by age and gender, The superior factor in Mandu was 'Taste' by the subjects aged below 30 but 'Variety' by the subjects aged above 30; that in Pyeonyuk and Jeongol was 'Variety' in 31-40 year olds and those aged above 51, while it was 'Taste' in others. The superior factor of Kimchi was 'Nutritional value' by the subjects aged below 40,'Taste'in 41-50 year. olds, and 'Variety' by the subjects aged above 50, that of Namul muchim was 'Nutritional value' by the subjects aged below 20 and 'Variety'by the subjects aged above 20, and that of Naengchae was' Taste'by the subjects aged below 20 and 'Variety' by the subjects aged above 20. The superior factor of Gochujang was 'Taste' by the subjects aged below 50 and 'Variety 'by the subjects aged above 50, that of Ganjang was 'Variety' by the subjects aged below 30 and 'Taste' by the subjects aged above 30, that of Sikcho was 'Variety' by the subjects aged below 30 and 'Nutritional value' by the sutjects aged above 30. The superior factor of Doenjang was 'Nuttritional value' in all ages. The superior factors of Hangwa and Sikhae/Sujeonggwa were 'Appearance' and 'Taste' in all ages, and that of Hwachae was 'Taste' by the subjects aged below 30 and' Appearance' by the subjects aged above 30. The perception by gender was statistically differed for traditional foods such as Bap, Bibimbap, Kalguksu, Bulgogi, Pyeonyuk Jangachi, Gochujang, Ganjang, Sikhae/Sujeonggwa, Hwachae, and Gujulpan.

단간 내도복 메조 '단아메' (Short Culm, Lodging Tolerance, Non-glutinous Foxtail millet (Setaria italica Beauv.) Variety 'Daname')

  • 조 '단아메'는 유전자원센터에서 분양 받은 IT252182을 기본 집단으로 하여 분리육종법을 통해 국립식량과학원에서 2014년 육성된 신품종으로 주요특성과 수량성을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 출수기는 표준품종인 '황금조'보다 보통기 재배에서는 5일 정도 늦으나 중만생종 '삼다찰'에 비하면 15일 이상 출수차이가 나므로 조생종에 속하고 생육일수는 100일 정도이다. 간장은 97cm로 '황금조'에 비해 20cm정도 짧은 단간형 품종으로, 도복에 강한 특성을 나타낸다. 이삭은 원통형이며 아래로 처지는 형태를 지니고 있다. 종실색은 주황색이고, 낟알은 노란색이며, 조곡 천립중 2.95g, 현곡 천립중 2.86g으로 '황금조'에 비하여 약간 무거운 편이다. 배유의 아밀로스 함량은 21.6%로 메조에 해당하며, 날알의 단백질함량이 8.0%로 황금조에 비해 낮은 특성을 가지고 있다. 수량은 지역적응시험 보통기 재배 평균 $3.81t\;ha^{-1}$로서 표준품종 황금조와 비슷한 수준이었다. 조 '단아메'의 적정 혼반비율 구명을 위하여 '단아메' 첨가량을 10%, 20%, 30% 첨가 및 '단아메' 100%, '일품벼' 100%로 취반한 밥의 경점도비 및 항산화활성을 측정한 결과, 항산화활성은 현저히 증가하고, 경점도비의 차이는 '일품벼' 100% 취반 시와 차이가 없었던 '단아메' 10% 첨가시로 판단되었다.

재배적 안정성과 저장성이 우수한 백색 느티만가닥버섯 신품종 '백마루' 육성 (Breeding a new variety of white Hypsizygus marmoreus 'Baekmaru' with excellent cultivation stability and storability)

  • 쓴맛이 적고 백색에 대한 선호로 국내외 수요가 많은 백색느티만가닥의 안정적인 생산성과 저장성을 높인 품종을 육성하기 위해 갈색종과 백색종을 교잡하고 다시 백색종을 여교잡하여 '백마루' 품종을 육성하였다. 반복재배를 통해 종균 배양기간 중 오염율이 낮아 재배적 안정성을 확보한 '백마루'를 상용품종과 비교실증시험 결과 수량이 14% 높았고, 갓 직경과 대두께가 16.43±15.27 mm 6.46±0.58 mm로 상용품종보다 다소 높았다. 경도는 갓은 2.69±0.89N, 대는 3.09±0.89N으로 단단한 것으로 조사되었다. 저장기간 중 자실체의 품질변화는 갓의 두께, 색의 변화에서 상용품종 대비 적었고, 갓 경도는 4℃처리와 4℃와 20℃를 2일간격으로 온도변화를 준 처리에서 3.5N에서 4.0N범위에 속하여 상용품종 3.0N보다 높아 저장성이 우수한 것으로 판단되었다.

신품종 기술수용의 구조관계 분석 -사료작물 신품종 도입의향 - (Structural Equation Modeling on Technology Acceptance for New Variety - Case of Forage Crop -)

  • This study aims to identify factors affecting the acceptance intention of cultivating a new Italian ryegrass(IRG) variety using partial least square structural equation modeling(PLS-SEM) and find priority to maximize the acceptance intention of new IRG variety using importance-performance matrix analysis(IPMA). The data were collected on a seven-point Likert-type from 188 farm households located in Korea central region for two months. As a major result of PLS-SEM, expected effect significantly affected acceptance intention. The IPMA also showed expected effect should be considered as the most important factor to improve the acceptance intention. This study suggested the new technology distributors should scientifically prove and actively promote the effects such as increase in farm income, productivity improvement, labor saving and management efficiency caused by planting new IRG variety.

Morphology, molecular conformation and moisture regain of cocoons of different silkworm varieties

  • Silk has attracted the attention of numerous research groups because of its unique properties as a biomedical material. Recently, studies on the biomedical application of silk cocoon, such as membranes for guided bone regeneration, have been conducted. As a preliminary study on silkworm cocoons, the morphological structure and crystallinity of cocoon of nine silkworm varieties with different sides are examined in this study. The morphological structure of the silkworm cocoon is shown to be dependent on silkworm variety and the cocoon layer (i.e. outside or inside). It is also shown that the silk filaments of the out layer are more bent and twisted compared to those of the inner layer. Furthermore, the crystallinity of the outer surface of all silkworm cocoons is found to be higher than that of the inner surface, regardless of the silkworm variety. Lastly, it is shown that the crystallinity index of the cocoon depends on the silkworm variety, implying that the structure of the cocoon varies with silkworm variety.

Evaluation of Food Habits, Nutrient Intake, and Dietary Variety in Female College Students

  • This study was intended to investigate food habits, dietary variety and the effects of nutrient intake of female college students. Food habits such as regularity of meal time, repast of breakfast, lunch, and supper, and duration of meal were assessed via a self reporting questionnaire, 24 hrs recall method for nutrient intake was obtained from 155 female college students in Yangju-si. Dietary variety was assessed by dietary diversity score(DDS). The mean height and weight of the subjects were $161.25{\pm}3.52cm$ and $52.26{\pm}4.52kg$, respectively. The dietary habits of female college students was generally inadequate. In the survey of dietary habits, the ratio of skipping breakfast 3~6 days a week in total subjects was 87.09%, showing a rather higher ratio of skipping breakfast. In the evaluation of nutrient intakes by DDS, subjects who had higher DDS had significantly higher nutrient intakes of energy, protein, carbohydrate, fiber, calcium, phosphate, iron, vitamin A, vitamin C, and cholesterol(p<0.05). There was a great difference in nutrient intakes, suggesting the risk of nutritional imbalance. These findings suggest that nutritional education based on female college students' eating variety and dietary habits(regularity of meal time, skipping breakfast and night snacks per week, and duration of meal) may be required to improve dietary variety. it is considered that the improvement in dietary habits will contribute to the improvement of nutrition.

  • The purposes of this study were to examine the effect of store satisfaction about fashion store and alternative store attraction on switching barrier perception and the moderating effect of variety seeking orientation. The questionnaire was administered to 450 women shopped in a department store in Gwan-ju during September, 12-26,2002. Data collected from 384 women were analyzed by using frequency, factor analysis, regression analysis, ANOVA and t-test by SPSS for WIN program. The result were as follows. First, the store satisfaction significantly influenced switching barrier perception. Second, the alternative store attraction significantly influenced switching barrier perception. Third, interaction effect between store satisfaction and variety seeking orientation was found out to be meaningful at switching barrier perception. Fourth, interaction effect between alternative store attraction and variety seeking orientation was found out to be meaningful at switching barrier perception.

  • The purpose of this study was to categorize brand-switching behaviors into subdivided groups by variety seeking and perceived differences between brands and to compare and to analyze brand-switching motive perceived differences between brands clothing-involvement and buying price among the subdivided groups. The subjects were 343 female and male to have jean pants-buying experience in their age of 20-29 living in Seoul and Kyunggi province. For the analysis of the data mean frequency t-test $\chi^2$-Test Factor analysis MANOVA Duncan-test were conducted and the cronbach's $\alpha$ has been calculated to measure the reliability The results are as follows: 1. brand-switching behaviors are categorized into 4 groups by strength of variety-seeking and perceived differences between brands that are small or large which are habitual brand switchers internal derived brand-switchers external derived brand-switchers and combined derived brand-switchers. 2. Among the 4 sub-groups there were significant difference in brand-switching motive according to factors such as change-seeking needs and price & promotion. And there were significant differences in perceived differences between brands according to factors such as apparel design clothing -symbolism fitness except apparel shop. 3. According to strength of variety-seeking levels of clothing-involvement and buying price have increased Combined derived brand-switchers have totally the strongest variety-seeking and the highest clothin-involvement and they purchase the highest priced jean-pants of the other types of consumers.
