This study has an objective to analyze the causal relationship between the business resource of the members in the Airport Special Guard's firms and its effect on their business attitude and turnover intention. To carry out the study, I established a population of Airport Special Guard's working at the Airport firms in In-cheon, Kim-po, Cheong-ju and Dae-gu. Then a total of 300 questionnaires were sent out for the survey using the random sampling method of clusters. The study was carried out over about four months, from July, 2016 to october, 2016. A total of 260 questionnaires were used for the final data. 40 questionnaires were excluded either because they were not returned or contained extreme value. In this study, a statistical package of SPSS WIN 18.0 were used in the data analysis and the causal relationship was verified using the multiple regression analysis. The analysis showed the business resource to have a positive effect on the business attitude but a negative effect statistical level of p<.01 on the turnover intention at the statistical level of p<.001 and the hypothesis was adopted. The hypothesis regarding the business attitude was also adopted because business attitude was found to have a negative effect on the turnover intention at the statistical level of p<.01. In addition, business attitude was found to have a negative effect on the relationship between the business resource and turnover intention at the statistical level of p<.05. As a result, the hypothesis about the business attitude would function as the parameter was only partially adopted. Through these research result, it was investigated that the relation between business resource, business attitude and turnover intention is significantly effective variable in airport special guard's. Additionally, business resource is the most important.
Recently, a top record of hourly-based rainfall has been changed annually and flood damages of road have increased. To solve this problem, pavements for drainage were developed and practically constructed but there was no considerations on sub-base. In this research, we proposed standard for distribution of particle size of sub-base to consider strength characteristic and drainage property. We focused to compare coefficients strength and permeability by laboratory tests. Prior to tests, 4 samples were selected under the consideration on the international or domestic design guideline. In the tests, strength characteristics were compared with resilient modulus. Also, permeability characteristics were compared with coefficient of upward and downward permeability. Resilient modulus was determined with MR test using cyclic triaxial testing system. Two permeability tests were carried out. One is variable head permeability test for downward drainage and the other is Rowe Cell test for upward drainage. In the case of Rowe Cell test, middle-sized sampler with 150mm diameter was used for this study. Consequentially, we tried to find the optimum distribution of particle size to satisfy both of strength and permeability characteristics for sub-base.
In this paper bearing capacity and safety margin of shallow foundation on weathered soil ground against shear failure by using current design method of allowable stress design (ASD), load resistance factor design (LRFD) based on reliability analysis and partial safety factor design (PSFD) in Eurocode were estimated and compared to each other. Results of the plate loading test used in construction and design were collected and analysis of probability statistics on soil parameters affecting the bearing capacity of shallow foundation was performed to quantify the uncertainty of them and to investigate the resistance bias factor and covalence of ultimate bearing capacity. For the typical sections of shallow foundation in domestic field as examples, reliability index was obtained by reliability analysis (FORM) and the sensitivity analysis on soil parameters of probability variables was performed to investigate the effect of probability variable on shear failure. From stability analysis for these sections by ASD, LRFD with the target reiability index corresponding to the safety factor used in ASD and PSDF, safety margins were estimated respectively and compared.
Granular compaction pile has the load bearing capacity of the soft ground increase and has the settlement of foundation built on the reinforced soil reduce. The granular compaction group piles also have the consolidation of the soft ground accelerate and prevent the liquefaction caused by earthquake using the granular materials such as sand, gravel, stone etc. However, this method is not widely used in Korea. The granular compaction piles are constructed by grouping them with a raft system. The confining pressure at the center of bulging failure depth is a major variable in estimating the ultimate bearing capacity of the granular compaction piles. Therefore, a share of loading is determined considering the effect of load concentration ratio between the granular compaction piles and surrounding soils, and the variation of the magnitude of the confining pressure. In this study, a method for the determination of the ultimate bearing capacity is proposed to apply a change of the horizontal pressure considering bulging failure depth, surcharge, and loaded area. Also, the ultimate bearing capacity of the granular compaction pile is evaluated on the basis of previous study(Kim et al., 1998) on the estimation of the ultimate bearing capacity and compared with the results obtained from laboratory scale model tests and DEM numerical analysis using the PFC-2D program.
The lingual branch of the trigeminal nerve transmitts general sensation from anterior two thirds of the tongue, also bearing within sheath fibers of chordal tympani branch of the facial nerve. Chorda tympani nerve carries special taste sensations from the anterior two thirds of the tongue and sub-serves the existing trigeminal pathway. Chorda tympani nerve and the lingual nerve innervate to fungiform papilla and distribution of fungiform papilla on tongue dorsum is variable according to anatomical location. The purpose of this report is to assess that the relationship of the number of fungiform papilla and the ability of two-point discrimination of tongu dorsum. Twenty-six healthy students(male:female=13:13) whose mean age was $30{\pm}3$ participated in our study. Two-point discrimination thresholds were measured to evaluate the spatial acuity of touch sensation. The measurement was carried out at the tip and posterolateral region of dorsal tongue. After two-point discrimination test, we took the pictures of their dorsal tongue dyed with methylene blue with digital camera. There were no significant differences between the number of fungiform papilla and the two-point discrimination threshold. But, we found that there were the intraregional and intersubject variations of spatial acuity of the tongue. During the test on the posterolateral region of the dorsal tongue, students appealed the difficulty of discrimination of one point and two point.
Purpose : To evaluate the quantitative accuracy of three-dimensional (3D) images by means of comparing distance measurements on the 3D images with direct measurements of dry human skull according to slice thickness and scanning modes. Materials and Mathods : An observer directly measured the distance of 21 line items between 12 orthodontic landmarks on the skull surface using a digital vernier caliper and each was repeated five times. The dry human skull was scanned with a Helical CT with various slice thickness (3, 5, 7 mm) and acquisition modes (Conventional and Helical). The same observer measured corresponding distance of the same items on reconstructed 3D images with the internal program of V-works 4.0/sup TM/(Cybermed Inc., Seoul, Korea). The quantitative accuracy of distance measurements were statistically evaluated with Wilcoxons' two-sample test. Results: 11 line items in Conventional 3 mm, 8 in Helical 3mm, 11 in Conventional 5mm, 10 in Helical 5mm, 5 in Conventional 7mm and 9 in Helical 7mm showed no statistically significant difference. Average difference between direct measurements and measurements on 3D CT images was within 2mm in 19 line items of Conventional 3mm, 20 of Helical 3mm, 15 of Conventional 5mm, 18 of Helical 5mm, II of Conventional 7mm and 16 of Helical 7mm. Conclusion: Considering image quality and patient's exposure time, scanning protocol of Helical 5mm is recommended for 3D image analysis of the skull in CT.
There have been many studies about marginal discrepancy of single restorations made by various systems and materials. But many of statistical inferences are not definite because of sample size, measurement number, measuring instruments. etc. The purpose of this study was to compare the marginal adaptations of the anterior single restorations made by different systems and to consider more desirable statistical methods in analysing the marginal fit. The in vitro marginal discrepancies of three different all-ceramic crown systems (Celay In-Ceram. Conventional In-Ceram. IPS Empress 2 layering technique) and one control group (PFM) were evaluated and compared. The crowns were made from one extracted maxillary central incisor prepared with a 1mm shoulder margin and $6^{\circ}$ taper walls by milling machine. 10 crowns per each system were fabricated. Measurements or a crown were recorded at 50 points that were randomly selected for marginal gap evaluation. Non-parametric statistical analysis was performed for the results. Within the limits of this study, the following conclusions were drawn: 1 Mean gap dimensions and standard deviations at the marginal opening for the maxillary incisor crowns were $98.2{\pm}40.6{\mu}m$ for PFM, $83.5{\pm}18.7{\mu}m$ for Celay In-Ceram, $104.9{\pm}44.1{\mu}m$ for conventional In-Ceram, and $45.5{\pm}11.5{\mu}m$ for IPS Empress 2 layering technique. The IPS Empress 2 system showed the smallest marginal gap (P<0.05). The marginal openings of the other three groups were not significantly different (P<0.05). 2 The marginal discrepancies found in this study were all within clinically acceptable standards ($100\sim150{\mu}m$). 3. When the variable is so controlled that the system may be the only one, mean value is interpreted to be the marginal discrepancy of a restoration which is made by each system and standard deviation is to be technique-sensitivity of each one. 4. From the standard deviations. the copy-milling technique (Celay/In-Ceram) was not considered to be technique-sensitive in comparison with other methods. 5. Parametric analysis is more reliable than non-parametric one in interpretation of the mean and standard deviation. The sample size of each group has to be more than 30 to use parametric statistics. The level of clinically acceptable marginal fit has not been established. Further studies are needed.

Purpose: This study assessed the impact of self-reported periodontal health on the oral health-related quality of life among elderly Koreans. Methods: Four hundred twenty one elderly Koreans in Seoul and suburban areas were selected with a cluster (institution) sampling method, and were requested to take oral examinations and finish questionnaires on the Oral Health Impact Profile-14(OHIP-14). and self-reported periodontal health status, such as periodontal symptoms, self-rated periodontal health and periodontal treatment need. As the dependent variable, OHIP-14 showed a positive skewed distribution (skewness: 1.17), we transformed to square-root form to apply parametric analyses. Bivariate analysis by t-test and ANOVA, and multivariate analysis with the two-level regression model accounting clusters were implemented. Results: Mean age of the subjects was 74.6 years and 66.5% were women. Fourteen items of OHIP-14 were summarized to one factor explaining 78.6% of total variance and produced the Chronbach alpha coefficient of 0.92. Results from the multivariate model, adjusting for age, sex, type of institutions, ability to pay, and number of teeth present, showed significantly lower OHIP-14 with reporting less than 3 periodontal symptoms (p(O.OOO1), rating their own periodontal health as above average level (p=O.0144), and thinking they don't need any periodontal treatments in the near future (p=O.0148), than their counterparts. The intraclass-corrrelation estimated by the final model was 0.028. Conclusion: This study demonstrates a significant association between self-reported periodontal health status and the oral health-related quality of life.
Dental porcelain is one of the materials of choice for restoration where esthetics is of concern, but has a considerable potentials of wear. The wear of enamel is variable when opposed by different porcelain systems and surface conditions, and the exposed dentine and opaque porcelain due to clinical failure is expected to have high potentials of wear. The purpose of this study was to investigate the wear effects of self-glazed, polished incisal porcelain. polished dentine and opaque porcelain against human enamel in the laboratory by use of a pin-on-disk type wear tester. 4 types of dental porcelain($Vita-{\Omega}$, Ceramco-II, Vintage powder $Vita-{\alpha}$ of In-Ceram system) and type IV gold alloy as cotrol group were used for test specimens. Intact buccal cusps of maxillary premolar were used for enamel specimens, and the cusp converged to a point and was devoid of visible abrasion, caries, decalcification. The upper part was the cusp of a maxillary premolar and the lower part was a porcelain specimen. The enamel wear was deter-mined by weighing the cusp before and after each test. Surface profilometer was used to quantitate wear of the porcelain specimens. Vicker's hardness tester was used to evaluate the surface hardness of test specimens. The SEM was used to evaluate the wear surfaces. The results were as follows : 1 Self-glazed porcelain produced more enamel wear than polished porcelain, especially the enamel wear of $Vita-{\alpha}$ self-glazed porcelain was 3.2 times more than that of other groups. 2. Opaque porcelain produced least porcelain wear, $Vita-{\alpha}$ self-glazed porcelain produce greatest porcelain wear, but there was no statistically significant difference between the groups(p>0.05). 3. The enamel wear of dentine porcelain was 3.8 times more than that of polished inisal porcelain(p<0.05), and the enamel wear of opaque porcelain was 1.9 times more than that of polished inisal porcelain, but there was no statistically significant difference between the groups(p>0.05) 4. Overglazed porcelain produced less enamel wear than self-glazed porcelain, and more enamel wear than polished porcelain, but there was no statistically significant difference between the groups(P>0.05). 5. The hardness number of $Vita-{\Omega}$ dentine and Ceramco-II opaque porcelain was larger, but that of Vintage dentine and $Vita-{\alpha}$ self-glazed porcelain was similar to other groups. 6. Examination of SEM photographs revealed that overglazed porcelain had smoother surface than self-glazed porcelain, and self-glazed porcelain had smoother surface than polished porcelain. Much polishing scratches and larger porosities were observed on the opaque porcelain specimen, and much polishing scratchess and small porosities were observed on the dentine porcelain specimen.

Preformed stainless steel crown is an useful restorative material for the treatment of badly broken down primary teeth. However iatrogenic damage to adjacent teeth might occur during the process of tooth reduction. Such damages might lead to plaque accumulation and increase the risks of caries initiation. Especially the damage can make a problem in the first permanent molar. Purpose of this study was to investigate an iatrogenic damage to the first permanent molar during preparation of second primary molar for preformed stainless steel crown. Twelve children restored with preformed stainless steel crown to second primary molar were selected. Contact areas were separated with separation elastics, and tooth surfaces were cleaned. After taking negative impression using vinylpolysiloxane impression material, the specimens were examined by scanning electron microscope for the detection of iatrogenic damage. The prevalence of iatrogenic damage was 66.7% and variable appearances and So we can suggest that when preparing teeth for preformed stainless steel crown, we should be careful about adjacent teeth not to make an iatrogenic damage.
