Accuracy of linear approximation for fitted values in nonlinear regression

  • Bates and Watts (1981) have discussed the problems of reparameterizing nonlinear models in obtaining accurate linear approximation confidence regions for the parameters. A similar problem exists with computing confidence curves for fitted values or predictions. The statistical behavior of fitted values does not depend on the parameterization. Thus, as long as the intrinsic curvature is small, standard Wald intervals for fitted values are likely to be sufficient. Accuracy of linear approximation for fitted values is investigated using confidence curves.

사슴의 혈액 및 혈액화학치에 관한 연구 (Blood and Serum Chemical Values on Deer Bred in Taegu Dalseung Park)

  • The study was conducted to determine normal blood and serum chemical values on deer. Normal blood and serum chemical values were studied in 8 healthy deers bred at Dalseung Park in Taegu. The values were analyzed with a blood chemical analyzer and calculated by Chawen's statistical analysis. The blood values of RBC, WBC and PCV were $9.73{\pm}1.19{\times} 10^{6}/{\mu}l, 3.37{\pm}0.88{\times}10^{3}/{\mu}l, 47.25{\pm}4.65 % respectively. The serum chemical value were: GOT; 83.0{\pm}39.4 IU/L, GPT; 50.12{\pm}25.83 IU/L, BUN; 36.63{\pm}8.70 mg/dl. CPK ; 1,296{\pm}495 IU/L, ALP; 238{\pm}54 IU/L, glucose; 143{\pm}52 mg/dl, total protein; 6.95{\pm}0.61 g/dl, amylase ; 116.0{\pm}34.5 IU/L,$ respectively. These values will be clinically helpful to diagnose the disease of deer.

형태속성이 미학 특성 인지 과정에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Roles of Shape Properties in Evaluation of Aesthetics values on Shapes)

  • In estimating designed architectural buildings, many factors in various design domains such as function, structure, form, environment may be considered and then a building design might be selected or modified as final design from many possible design results. This paper proposed a method to obtain complexity values from two dimensional drawings which are floor plans or elevations. The Complexity values could be turned into esthetic values. The method has been developed based on information theory, shape pattern representation and cognitive theory. Results of measuring complexity value can make the computer evaluate and select final results produced from automatic design processes by the computer That is to say, aesthetic values based on order and chaos can be measured using complexity values and then some results having superior values can be selected as final result. Also some cognitive processes as perception of two dimensional drawings are discussed using shape representations. Aesthetic values could be varied in terms of shape properties such as size, individualities and knowledge as well as order and chaos.

의복소비가치가 양면적 의복소비행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Clothing Consumption Values on Ambivalent Clothing Consuming Behavior)

  • This study aimed to investigate the associations between clothing consumption values and the ambivalent clothing consuming behavior of young female adults. To explain the ambivalent consuming behavior prevailing in the contemporary fashion market, five dimensional consumption values proposed by Sheth(1991) were adopted as explanatory factors, and fashion leadership and spending were included as moderating factors. Data collecting using written survey instrument yielded one hundred and seventy two complete responses from female consumers aged between 20 and 39. Factor analysis on clothing consumption values resulted in five dimensional structures of consumption values for the sample: expressive, epistemic, functional, social, and fashionable values. Among these, expressive, functional, and social values significantly affected ambivalent consuming behavior. The effect of expressive value was strong regardless of fashion innovativeness, opinion-leadership, and monthly income of consumers, however, the effects of epistemic, functional, and social values were changed depending on the moderating factors.

대학생들의 자기해석과 로하스 간의 관계에 관한 연구 (Study on Effects of Undergraduates' Self-construal on LoHAS)

  • This paper explored undergraduates' LoHAS purchasing behavior and factors influencing the behavior, including' self-construal, and LoHAS values, attitudes and behavior. First, this study investigated how self-construal affected LoHAS values, and then analyzed how LoHAS values influenced LoHAS attitude and behavior. We administerd a survey with undergraduates attending a university located in the metropolitan area. The analysis results indicate that ecological self-construal affects LoHAS values. According to the analysis, both environmentalism and sustain ability of LoHAS values also affect LoHAS attitude, and then the attitude influences LoHAS behavior. This study shows the casual relationship between variables including self-construal, LoHAS values, attitude and behavior. In particular, this finding confirms that self-construal as one of psychological factors affects LoHAS consumers' values and behavior.

습도조건에 따른 골판지원지의 링크러쉬강도 예측 모델링 (Prediction Modelings of Ring Crush Strength in Corrugated Base Paper by Humidity Variations)

  • In order to optimize designing process of corrugated fiberboard boxes for agricultural products, first of all, compression strength of each liner were experimentally evaluated on the various conditions of relative humidity and analyzed by liner regression analysis. At the 66 percents of relative humidity, IK(imported kraft liner) liner board lost little of its compression strength compared to others. At the relative humidity 93 percents, KA liner board lost its compression strength only 40 percents while SK liner board lost up to 56 percents. From the result of prediction modeling of ring crush strength in various humidity conditions, R square values were ranged from 0.59 to 0.97. At 56 percents of RH or below, R square values were relatively low, but at 66 percents of RH or higher, the values were 0.85 or higher. The significance values were lower than 0.001 at every RH condition. Level of significance of experimented values was about 80 percents of predicted values and R square values were between 0.89 to 0.95.

여대생의 직업의식에 영향을 미치는 요인: 부모의 영향을 중심으로 (A Study on Factors Influencing on Work Values of Female College Students: Focusing on Parental Effect)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore factors influencing on work values of female college students focusing on parental effect to enhance their participation in labor market. The respondents were asked to answer a questionnaire, and the collected 400 data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0. The results showed that the students and their parents had more leisure-oriented and extrinsic work values than labor-oriented and intrinsic work values. The labor-oriented and intrinsic work values appeared to be high in the group with experience of part time jobs, with high educated father or with middle household income. The influencing factors on college students' work values were parental work values, gender consciousness, self-efficacy and major. The results from this study suggest that parents of college students should be educated to change their work values.

소비자가 제품에서 추구하는 소비자가치: 제품 속성과 가시성에 따른 4가지 제품유형을 중심으로 (Consumer Values Derived from Products by Consumers: Difference among the Four Types of Products Classified with Product Attributes and Visibility)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand consumer values derived from products by the contemporary consumers, as the meaning of a product is extended from the functional utilities to the mediums of fulfilling consumer values. Consumer values have been researched from the marketers' perspectives and, thus, the scales to measure consumer values tend to be too abstract and not always reflective of the consumers' perspectives. Holbrook's typology of consumer values is utilized and the products are classified into four groups according to the product characteristic of the utilitarian versus hedonic, and the consumption spaces of the indoor and outdoor. The findings are as follows. First, the values of efficiency, excellence, ethics, and spirituality are more likely derived from utilitarian products, while the value of play is more likely derived from the hedonic products. Second, the values of efficiency, excellence, and ethics are more likely derived from the indoor products, and values of playfulness, esthetics, status, and respect are more likely derived from the outdoor products. Third, the most frequently mentioned values are the efficiency, playfulness, and status. Fourth, the list of products answered as being representative for four types of products are short to include obvious products such as TV, mobile phone, computer, car, refrigerator, and MP3 player. Both the utilitarian and hedonic values are derived from TV, computer, and mobile phone, while the utilitarian value from refrigerator and car, and the hedonic value from MP3 player, digital camera, and game consoles. The results imply that consumer values should be carefully understood and reflected in developing new products in order to successfully fulfill consumers' underlying needs and requirements.

  • 개인의 가치관은 개인의 태도, 행동, 생활방식 등에 결정적인 영향을 미치며, 개인의 세계관을 반영한다. 따라서 조직에서의 개인의 행동과 행동적 경향성에 개인의 가치관이 반영되기 마련이기 때문에 가치관이 조직에 강력한 영향을 미친다고 할 수 있겠다. 또한 경찰 조직문화 역사 경찰관들 개개인의 가치관에 영향을 받게 된다. 이 연구의 목적은 이러한 경찰 조직문화 및 가치관의 개선을 위한 선행적 연구로서 경찰관의 가치관에 대한 국내의 선행 연구가 매우 미흡한 실정에서 우리나라 경찰관들의 가치관의 특성을 살펴보고, 유일한 선행 연구라 할 수 있는 한상암 정덕영(2007)의 연구 결과와 비교 분석함으로써 공통 특성 및 차이점을 파악하여 후속 연구의 토대로 삼고자 하는 것이다. 이 연구에서는 선행 연구의 연구 결과와 비교하여 다음과 같은 결과가 드러났는데, 선행 연구결과들과 마찬가지로 경찰관들이 전반적으로 사회적 가치보다는 개인적 가치를 더 중시하는 경향이 있으며, 평등은 기존의 열구결과들과 다소 다르게 중간정도의 순위로 나타났으며, 국가의 안전은 대부분의 선행 연구결과들과 마찬가지로 매우 낮은 순위로 나타났다.

  • 최근 국제 수학교육에서 가치(values)를 다루는 프로젝트나 연구물이 증가하고 있으나 우리나라에서는 소개된 것이 많지 않다. 본 연구에서는 Bishop(1996)의 '수학적 가치'와 '수학 교육적 가치'를 중심으로 체계적인 문헌 검토를 통하여 최종 66편의 논문을 선정하였고 연구시기, 프로젝트, 분석 대상, 연구 방법을 기준으로 연구 동향을 제시하였다.
