B-Spline곡선을 이용한 지정된 전계조건하의 전극형상 설계 (Design of Electrode Shape with B-Spline Curve Under Specified Field Condition)

  • This paper aims at the design of high voltage electrode contour under specified field condition. Defining the contour with B-Spline curve, the number of contour variables can be reduced and very smooth electrode can be obtained. For the analysis of the electric field, Surface Charge Method which has advantages in practical model has been used. As an initial contour, the rod-plane gap has been used since the difference between maximum and minimum field value is relatively large. Various field conditions including uniform field condition are given to the end of the rod electrode. Under uniform field condition, authors designed an electrode whose field-deviation was under 0.5%. Finally, the relation between the curvature and field of the electrode has been checked, which showed that B-Spline curve is appropriate for the shape function.

$Al_{2}O_{3}$가 첨가된 BSCT 후막의 유전특성 (Dielectric Properties of $Al_{2}O_{3}-Doped$ BSCT Thick Films)

  • $(Ba_{1-x}Sr_{0.4}Ca_x)TiO_{3}$ (x=0.10, 0.15, 0.20) powders were prepared by the sol-gel method and BSCT thick films were fabricated by the screen-printing method. Their structural and dielectric properties were investigated with variation of composition ratio and $Al_{2}O_{3}$ doping contents. As results of the X-ray diffraction and microstructure analysis, the grain size of BSCT thick films was decreased with increasing $Al_{2}O_{3}$ amount. The thickness of BSCT thick films by 4-coating/drying is about $110{\sim}120{\mu}m$. The tunability increased with decreasing Ca content, and the BSCT(50/40/10) specimen doped with 1.0wt% $Al_{2}O_{3}$ showed the highest value of 12.94% at 5kV /cm.

Electronic Structures and Magnetic Properties of Fe/Si/Fe Trilayer

  • Employing the LMTO band method, we have studied electronic and magnetic properties of Fe/Si/Fe trilayer in which the z-direction is chosen to be (111) direction of FeSi with B2 phase, We have also determined electronic structure of bulk FeSi, as a reference material. The ground state of FeSi is paramagnetic insulator with a band gap of 0.05 eV. Band structures of Fe/Si/Fe with varying the thickness of the spacer layer reveal that the spacer layer is metallic, and the states along the growth direction do not disperse much reflecting a two-dimensional nature. Magnetic moment of Fe atom in the interfacial layer of Fe/Si/Fe is reduced a lot as compared to the bulk value, suggesting a strong hybridization between Fe and Si states. The geometry of the Fermi surface indicates that the magnetic coupling period of ~8ML (monolayers) in Fe/Si/Fe is explained with a short Fermi wave vector of bcc Si.

Design and Performance Analysis of a Multi Wavelength Terahertz Modulator Based on Triple-Lattice Photonic Crystals

  • Terahertz (THz) communication has important applications in high-speed and ultra broadband wireless access networks. The THz modulator is one of the key devices in a THz communications system. Wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) can expand the capacity of THz communications systems, so research on multi wavelength THz modulators has significant value. By combining photonic-crystal and THz technology, a novel type of multi wavelength THz modulator based on a triple-lattice photonic crystal is proposed in this paper. Compared to a compound-lattice photonic crystal, a triple-lattice photonic crystal has a larger gap width of 0.196. Simulation results show that six beams of THz waves can be modulated simultaneously with high performance. This modulator's extinction ratio is as large as 34.25 dB, its insertion loss is as low as 0.147 dB, and its modulation rate is 2.35 GHz.

Spin Exchange Coupling in Dimethoxo-Bridged Dichromium(III) Complexes: A Density Functional Theory Study

  • For the [$Cr_2(H_2tmp)_2Cl_4$] compound, simplified models with two bridging methoxo ligands have been studied. The influence of the bridging Cr-O-Cr bond angles on the exchange coupling between metal atoms in the model compound has been analyzed by means of density functional calculations with the broken-symmetry approach. Coupling constant calculated for the full structure is in good agreement with the experimentally reported value, confirming the validity of the computational strategy used in this work to predict the exchange coupling in a family of related dinuclear Cr(III) compounds. The calculations indicate a good correlation between the calculated coupling constant and the sum of the squared energy gap of three pairs of metal $t_{2g}$ OMSOs with a limited variation of the Cr-O-Cr angle. The spin density distribution and the mechanism of magnetic coupling interactions are discussed.

  • This paper is proposed that in-output Digital module is acquired a vibration signal of a rotating machinery by Data Acquisition System. The module is designed to get ride of nose through low pass filter on the vibration signal from sensors and set the gain value for being able to sampling AC to DC, and also the sampled data by sampler and the conversed data by DIP/FPGA is supplied to the analyzer for analysis at a software tool. The DIP(Digital Signal Processor) of the Digital input/output Board makes Average voltage, Peak to Peak voltage, RMS(Root Mean Square) and Gap voltage, also FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) for rotating vibration diagnosis.

국내 슬로시티의 경관 형성 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Formation Characteristics of Townscape in Korean Slow City)

  • The present age demands a change in attitude based on a differentiated life value from city. It will provide to a fundamental solution for the gap of living level in the farming and fishing communities and recreate distinguishing comfortable communities. The purpose of this study was to deduct the formation characteristics of the townscape of Korean slow city according to analyze resources and structure of landscape. Planning of slow city's townscape is a process of imagification of filtrate unique meaning. The glob share synchronic unique values by slow city's network. Therefore instead of putting emphasis on promoting tourist business for short-term revenue, it will be under control to raise the standard of living and to be not forfeited and diluted the rights for sustainable slow city's status. Participation of resident needs in this process. Accordingly it need a strategy of landscape formation design and a interdepartmental practice system for a continuous slow city's image by renewal of disharmonious townscape in the built-up area.

주파수 변화에 의한 유도전동기의 특성 (Characteristics of induction motor by changing the frequency of source)

  • There are several methods of speed control in induction motors. One of which is to change the frequency of source but was not used frequently because of the difficulty of frequency-change. Then, the development of frequency changer using semiconductor enables the method useful. In this paper the speed characteristics of mechanical output, secondary input torque and secondary power factor are described when the frequency of source and voltage which is proportional to the frequency of source in order to make the flux in the air gap in constant, are changed. The above characteristics are searched on the basis of the rated characteristics of the motor. Because the ratio of these is proportional to that of the secondary current or the square value of it. To get the ratio of the secondary current, a current circle diagram is introduced, and the magnitude of the ratio from this diagram is accurate and simple. Experimental results are in good agreement with theoretical predictions.

  • Due to its simple construction, operation steadiness and low cost, claw pole step motor is widely used for OA machine and automobile. This paper deals with analysis fo claw pole motor, especially eyeing to dynamic characteristics. To analyze dynamic characteristics of claw pole step motor, torque development in each angular step of rotor are surveyed and torque equation is drived using permeance method. To adopt the airgap MMF, the magnetic equivalent circuit of the motor is introduced. On the base of the magnetic equivalent circuit, the air gap flux equation is derived. To get a optimum design of the motor, the torque characteristic is studied in variation of coil data and remanence value of permanent magnetic material.

라인 스캔 카메라를 위한 저가형 시 균일 조명장치 구현 (Development of a Low-cost Lighting System for Line-acan Camera)

  • A low cost lighting system for line-scan cameras has been developed with 3-phase power. When exposure time of line-scan camera is shorter than fluctuation period of illumination, the average gray value of each acquired 1-D image varies. Detecting defects on the objects's surface under such illuminating environment is very difficult. The proposed lighting system is composed of low-cost fluorescent lights based on 3-phase power. The specially designed lighting pack and the properly selected lighting position enable to get the rippleless lighting. The principle of the proposed lighting system has been explained analytically. The lighting system has been tested for fabric inspection with line-scan camera and it's efficacy has been proved.
