순간전압강하를 고려한 계통연계형 하이브리드 PCS 제어 (On-Grid Hybrid PCS Control considering the Momentary Voltage Sag)

  • The on-grid distributed power system operated antiislanding due to the momently voltage sag of the power system, fault and etc. According to the 'Dispersed Generations in Distribution Systems Connection Technology Standard', the utilizable time ratio of PCS is low because of being put into in the steady state of the power system after 5 minutes. In this paper, the output characteristic is optimized with the hybrid system consisting of the wind system and PV system. And energy of hybrid system is supplied to the power system. Also, DVR function was applied to PCS to compensate the voltage sag frequently happening for a power system. The control performance of the proposed hybrid PCS is analyzed and simulated using PSIM to validate the system performace.

  • 에너지 자원의 빈국인 한국은 에너지 자원의 기본적인 사용량 중에서 절대적인 양을 차지하는 석유 및 천연가스를 $100{\%}$수입에 의존하고 있다. 정부가 유사시 즉각적으로 실시하여야 할 중요한 역할 중의 하나가 이와 같은 유용한 에너지 자원을 다양하게 확보하는 것이다. 가스 하이드레이트는 천연가스와 다론 형태의 에너지로서 그 매장량이 해양이나 영구동토지역 등 전세계적으로 분포되어 있으므로 가까운 미래의 천연가스 대체 자원으로서 주목을 받고 있다. 특히 한반도 주변의 동해에 많은 양의 가스 하이드레이트가 매장되어 있을 것으로 기대된다 따라서 이 논문에서는 국내외 연구 및 기술개발 동향을 검토하여 탄성파 탐사를 통한 해석, 가스 하이드레이트의 특성 및 물리적인 물성, 그리고 가스 하이드레이트의 활용 기술 등에 관련된 국내의 중장기적인 가스 하이드레이트의 기본적인 연구 및 기술개발에 대하여 전체적인 프로젝트의 개요를 설명하였다.

Synthesis of Forsterite with High Q and Near Zero TCf for Microwave/Millimeterwave Dielectrics

  • With the advent of ubiquitous age, the high quality dielectric materials have been required for the wireless communications available to the millimeterwave as well as microwave frequencies. The utilizable region for the frequency has been expanding to the millimeter-wave region because of the shortage of radio frequency (RF) resources. These high frequencies would be expected for ultra high speed LAN, ETS and car anti-collision system on the intelligent transport system (ITS) and so on. Silicates are good candidates for microwave/millimeterwave dielectrics, because of their low dielectric constant ${\epsilon}_r$ and high quality factor (High Q). Forsterite ($Mg_2SiO_4$) is one of the silicates with low ${\epsilon}_r$ of 6.8 and Q f of 240000 GHz. In this paper, we reviewed following three categories for synthesis of forsterite: (1) Synthesis of high Q forsterite (2) Adjust the temperature coefficient of resonant frequency $TC_f$ (3) Diffusion of $SiO_{4^-}$ and Mg-ions on the formation of forsterite.

NDAS 유도체의 합성과 감광특성 (Synthesis and Photosensitive Characterization of NDAS Derivatives)

  • Naphthoquinone-1,2-diazide-5-sulfonyl[NDAS] derivatives members of quinone diazide compound that are utilizable as photosensitive polymer material were synthesized, and photoresist were prepared by mixing these derivatives with m-cresol novolak(a matrix resin) at various weight ratios. Photosensitive characteristics of photoresist were studied by examining UV and IR, relative sensitivity using a Gray scale method, and SEM to analyze if they can be used as photosensitive material in printing process. Experimental results showed that, by UV, NDAS derivatives were photoconverted and developer-soluble photoresist were produced. The mixing ratio of 1:4(by mass) of NDAS+p-ydroxybenzophenone+sensitizer and m-cresol novolak gave rise to the highest dissolution rate. In addition, photoresist obtained at this condition resulted in the most superior sensitivity and contrast.

상황인식 기술을 이용한 운전자 선호도 기반 교통상세정보 추천 시스템 (Driver Preference Based Traffic Information Recommender Using Context-Aware Technology)

  • Even though there have been many efforts on driver's route recommendation, driver still should get involved to choose the driving path in a manual manner. Uncertain traffic information provided to the driver delays his arrival time and hence may cause diminished economic values. One of the solutions of reducing the uncertainty is to provide various kinds of traffic information, rather than send real-time information. Therefore, as the wireless communication technology improves and at the same time volume of utilizable traffic contents increases in geometrical progression, selecting traffic information based on driver's context in a timely and individual manner will be needed. Hence, the purpose of this paper is to propose a methodology that efficiently sends the rich traffic contents to the personal in-vehicle navigation. To do so, driver preference is modeled and then the recommendation algorithm of traffic information contents was developed using the preference model. Secondly, ontology based traffic situation analyzation method is suggested to automatically inference the noticeable information from the traffic context on driver's route. To show the feasibility of the idea proposed in this paper, an open API service is implemented in consideration of ease of use.

  • BLDC Motor is one of the widely utilizable motors in servo system. The accurate calculation of the power loss for the IGBT and Inverse diode with Bipolar and Unipolar switching modes the driving modes is important for the design of drives for their heat treatment. If it were not for temperature-sensors in devices, it is difficult to get direct power loss, so. Power losses may be modeled by computer modeling to obtain the Calculation of the Power loss for Inverter in BLDC Motor with switching modes which is presented in this paper. The computer modeling is carried out by Matlab simulation. The power loss consists of conduction losses Conduction losses are the source of occurrence due to The IGBT and Inverse diode currents. Switching losses are the source of occurrence due to switching on/off in the devices, and gives the dominant influence to the loss. As a result, the unipolar I mode is best in reducing the heat losses.

  • The study investigates developing an Islamic student financing securitization model based on sukuk structures. This study employs sample of descriptive, analytical, and comparative analyses utilized to discuss a novel framework of Islamic securitization through the different structures of sukuk wakalah derived from asset securitization. The result served to investigate the use of Islamic student financing securitization in a Shariah-compliant manner, which would be implementable in Malaysia. It emphasized the sukuk structures based on the wakeel principle, which indicated a situation where a wakeel or representative appointment was made to manage a project on the behalf of the sukuk holder. The findings of this study supported the economic benefits obtained in the form of lower overall financing costs through the use of securitization for student financing in higher education. This paper offers important implications specifically for the creation of sukuk structures and issuing a highly graded and marketable sukuk, which are compliant towards global Shariah principles. The paper fills the gap perceived within the existing literature of Islamic finance by showing Islamic securitization via sukuk as a viable source of funds potential utilizable in stabilizing the securities market. It can also pose as a solution for securing a sustainable funding.

초등정규교육과정에서 STEAM을 위한 로봇활용교육 (Learning with a Robot for STEAM in Elementary School Curriculum)

  • 최근 과학예술융합교육(Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics; STEAM)의 중요성이 증대되고 있으며, 로봇활용교육도 좋은 대안으로 고려되고 있다. 현재 대부분의 초등 로봇활용교육은 방과후교실로 운영되고 있는데, 주로 과학과 로봇에 관심이 많은 남학생들을 중심으로 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 먼저 초등학생들이 로봇을 활용하여 STEAM에 대한 흥미를 유발하게 되는지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 로봇활용의 범주를 5가지(추상적 이해형, 구조중심형, 운동중심형, 지능중심형, 가치지향형)로 나눈 후, 초등정규교육과정을 분석하여 적용 가능한 모든 교과와 단원을 추출하였다. 그리고 추출된 단원에 대하여 정규수업시간 내에 수행이 가능한 로봇을 활용하는 교안을 개발하고, 5개월간 적용하였다. 분석 결과, 로봇활용교육이 STEAM에 대한 흥미를 유의미하게 증진시키는 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 여학생의 경우가 더 두드러졌다. 이와 더불어서, 정규 수업에서 로봇활용교육을 운영하는 데 있어서 당면하게 되는 문제점들에 대해 논하고, 향후 STEAM을 위한 로봇활용교육과 관련한 제언을 제시하였다.

An equivalent linear SDOF system for prediction of nonlinear displacement demands of non-ductile reinforced concrete buildings with shear walls

  • Reinforced concrete (RC) shear wall structures are one of the most widely used structural systems to resist seismic loading all around the world. Although there have been several efforts to provide conceptually simple procedures to reasonably assess the seismic demands of structures over recent decades, it seems that lesser effort has been put on a number of structural forms such as RC shear wall structures. Therefore, this study aims to represent a simple linear response spectrum-based method which can acceptably predict the nonlinear displacements of a non-ductile RC shear wall structure subjected to an individual ground motion record. An effective period and an equivalent damping ratio are introduced as the dynamic characteristics of an equivalent linear SDOF system relevant to the main structure. By applying the fundamental mode participation factor of the original MDOF structure to the linear spectral response of the equivalent SDOF system, an acceptable estimation of the nonlinear displacement response is obtained. Subsequently, the accuracy of the proposed method is evaluated by comparison with another approximate method which is based on linear response spectrum. Results show that the proposed method has better estimations for maximum nonlinear responses and is more utilizable and applicable than the other one.

  • In this study, machine learning models are proposed to predict the Vickers hardness of AlSi10Mg alloys fabricated by laser powder bed fusion (LPBF). A total of 113 utilizable datasets were collected from the literature. The hyperparameters of the machine-learning models were adjusted to select an accurate predictive model. The random forest regression (RFR) model showed the best performance compared to support vector regression, artificial neural networks, and k-nearest neighbors. The variable importance and prediction mechanisms of the RFR were discussed by Shapley additive explanation (SHAP). Aging time had the greatest influence on the Vickers hardness, followed by solution time, solution temperature, layer thickness, scan speed, power, aging temperature, average particle size, and hatching distance. Detailed prediction mechanisms for RFR are analyzed using SHAP dependence plots.
