Traditional Korean Medicine Information Portal OASIS has been upgraded continuously from the beginning of it's service. It builds up more contents and adds more functions to provide rich information for TKM's researcher. But it's improvement strategy is not systematic and not supported from objective data. So we did online survey and analyzed the results to get insight for improving and activating the OASIS. Also we compared the survey with the previous one conducted in 2009. From the analysis of survey, we can get the 4 results. First OASIS have aged users than young users. Second 39.0% users are using OASIS 2-3 times in a month. Third 18.8% users want OASIS to provide the conference paper in TKM. Finally 21.7% users want paper map analysis system. We must do information strategy planning to get the insight for the improvement. And this survey analysis result will be most important material to our planning. Also we will use this survey analysis result to satisfy the users' needs.

Purpose and Method: Despite benefits of building energy simulations, practitioners seem to be reluctant to use simulations for design decision making. By means of survey and interviews, this study aims to investigate domestic hindrance against increasing simulation usability, and to collect user requirement to enhance technical functionality of the simulation. Also this study compares the Information Sharing Workflow by Stantec and general domestic design process in order to identify a direction of the Integrated Design Process. Result: Finally this study wraps up with suggestions of how simulation functionality and use protocol should be in order to satisfy user requirement and also to gather more users.

This paper is a report on the user requirements analysis based on the survey performed during the February and March, 2002. The survey constitutes the preliminary stage of our research on the design of advanced public transportation system(APTS) in ITS service. A random sample of 60 responses were selected from the total of 300 replies that were received for our statistical analysis. We were able to identify what kind of information content Is mostly required by the public transportation users. Some useful guidelines as to how to design the APTS are provided as the conclusion.

We present the current operation status of StarDB web services by showing its user access statistics. The StarDB web services started its operation in late November, allowing world-wide users to access results of new variability analysis for Northern Sky Variability Survey light curves. New analysis results of various time-series data have been added to the StarDB services. Importantly, our services have supported a simple cone search, which is an internationally well-defined catalog search interface in the international Virtual Observatory systems. We have collected user access statistics such as how users find our analysis data since its operation in later November. We expect our analysis of the StarDB operation to help Korean community members who plan and operate their own web services preparing for a future era of big survey data.

The researcher conducts the survey through questioner method and analyzed the data in detail about E-resources available at SRM University library. The objectives of the study are to find out the awareness of use and purposes and their level of satisfaction of users. Further the researcher identifies the barrier and the ways and means of improvement of the use of E-resources. A total of 1,205 respondent was participating in this survey.

In Korea, many local governments has hosted the agriculture and/or food EXPO for the promotion of agro-food industry. Some EXPOs were successful to achieve their initial goal, but others were severely criticized due to wasting budget without outcome. The comprehensive debates and studies for the better management of EXPOs are required. The purpose of this paper is to analyze users for Jinju international agriculture & food EXPO 2013 and to suggest the strategies for the development of this EXPO. Survey analyses for two groups (enterprises and audiences) were conducted for this research. The results of studies present a few findings: First, the differentiated strategies for each groups (enterprises and audiences) should be developed. Second, EXPO need to attract more participants from the whole country. Third, the methods of advertisement should be improved, especially on-line ads. Fourth, various complains from participants, which are collected via surveys, need to be handled.

The objective of this study is to analyze the space usage and user evaluation of community facility in High rise Mixed-use Apartment. This study was conducted case study and questionnaire survey. Four High rise Mixed-use Apartments built since 2000 were chosen for case study and 166 residents were collected for questionnaire survey. The frequency, percentage, mean, t-test and F-test were executed through SPSS for Win 12.0 statistics package program. The types of community facilities of High rise Mixed-use Apartments were consisted of sports, child care/study, information sharing, leisure/cultural facilities. The usage percentage of community facilities increased since the residents have moved to their current residence of High rise Mixed-use Apartments from their previous residence. The most satisfactory facility was sports facilities. The satisfaction of community facilities showed high in general. The satisfaction of community facilities was significant with gender and age.

The SMB supercomputing service provides a supercomputing infrastructure for Small and Medium-sized Business (SMB) to enhance the efficiency of product development activity. In this study, the economic value of SMB supercomputing service is presented. The economic value of service is comprised of a direct and an indirect economic value. A direct economic value was estimated based on the result of user survey on service effectiveness. The input-output analysis method was adopted to estimate an indirect economic value induced from a direct economic value. The future economic value based on the result of user demand survey is also presented. As a result, the annual and future economic value of service were estimated about 55,215 million won and 323,928 million won, respectively.

This study presented the development of a user centered school facility fire safety evaluation model that would support fire safety evaluation, which is globally recognized as being important in terms of school safety, to be more efficiently implemented in the school field mainly by students. The study consisted of five steps. First, actual condition survey tools were developed based on the major fire safety evaluation items derived through literature review. Second, the characteristics of domestic school facilities in terms of fire safety were developed using the survey tools. Third, an evaluation model at a level utilizable by students was developed based on the foregoing characteristics. Fourth, the applicability of the model was verified through a trial application of the model to elementary school students. Finally, legal and institutional improvement plans and fire safety education materials were presented through a policy proposal.

Previous studies on user training have largely focused on assessing models which describe the determinants of information technology usage or examined the effects of training on user satisfaction, productivity, performance, and so on. Scant research efforts have been made, however, to examine those effects of training by using theoretical models. This study presented a conceptual model to predict intention to use information technology and conducted an experiment to understand how training for computer skill acquisition affects primary variables of the model. The data were obtained from 32 student subjects of an experimental group and 31 students of a control group, and the information technology employed for this study was a university's electronic mail system. The study results revealed that attitude toward usage and perceived behavioral control helped to predict user intentions; outcome expectations were positively related to attitude toward usage; and self - efficacy and perceived behavioral control. The changes in those variables suggest more causal effects of user training than other survey studies.
